Cearbhail:

So, this is the one preview chapter for Changing Fates that I chose to sit on while I finished writing the Chronicles of Ruby. I hope you all pay close attention. I wrote this chapter for a reason. Pay very close attention.

=^^= Enjoy...

[Vatu]

Vatu's log,

Today is the 18th of Frostfall. It's been four months since the end of the war with the Dominion as well as the end of the Aedra Crisis. Everyone's been working hard to prepare for this was with the Dwemer. Look into the sky and you'll see Aedra soldiers flying around the sky; and they'll pretty much ignore us. You know… it's been a long year, and just looking up and seeing Aedra swarming above me still makes me nervous. It just makes me wonder… if the Dwemer never show up, will the Aedra eventually go back to exterminating us? Will the Dominion go back to war with us? I guess time will only tell. Doesn't really matter though. The Empire has done everything it can to get itself in order again. Since the war ended, we've been doing nothing but trying to restore the world back to its glory. Black Marsh has been sending out its troops to help rebuild order. If I didn't know better, I'd say the new Queen was trying her best to take over Tamriel. Seeing this many shadowscales and shadowwraiths would normally be viewed as an invading force.

Luckily for me… I know the Queen. Nexa might be a lot of things… but dishonorable is not one of them. She's a great friend, one I trust. I mean… sure… she's been very distant these days, and… hasn't returned any of my calls… and refuses to speak with me… or anyone else we know… but you know… I still trust her. I just, I just wish she trusted me. I know things haven't been the same between me and her since Junna became my girlfriend, but… I still wish Nexa and I were friends. And if things between Nexa and I are… odd… things between me and Primrose are just awkward. We still see a lot of each other, because we're both in the same squad, but our conversations are pretty strained and forced. I think we're trying to find a new ground to stand on. She knows I'm with Junna now, and she tries to act happy about it. I don't know if I believe it. It smells like a lie to me. Maybe I'm just too conceded… I don't know. It's weird for me. I still have feelings for her. I just have more for Junna.

Since tomorrow is my off day, I figured I would see if Junna wants to do anything today. Ever since we've been waiting for the Dwemer to show up, every day has been something of a hectic rush to get enchanted everything set up for war. Junna was recalled to Torval, the capital of Elsweyr. I've been here in the Imperial City. Every weekend, we try to meet up. Well, it's Freedas night, and so… tomorrow I will get to see her. It's great that I can sleep again without having so much bothersome nightmares. They've been gone ever since I got that elven badness purged from my system. I think I'll text her a bit before going to bed. See if she's up for anything tomorrow.

Vatu Ernard, Battlemage.

The Dominion had some fancy new gadgets in their arsenal. A crystal ball that didn't rely on calling someone, but instead, could send texted messages to someone. Even if they were busy and couldn't answer, they could read your message later and then reply to it. It's been my main way of talking to Junna the past few months while we've been separated. It also helped because I was sleeping in a cramped barracks with my squad… Primrose included. And having to make her listen to me chat to Junna seemed wrong for me. So, texting worked out just fine.

"Hey, Junna… you awake?" I texted to her on my flat crystal ball thingy. They called it a c-ball. Weird name. Whatever.

I saw a few dots appear on the screen, telling me she was texting me back. When it arrived, I felt a small pulse through my c-ball. I like that it tells me when I get a new message. I have several frequencies set up for all my squadmates and friends, not to mention my sister and the rest of my family. "Yeah. One hour behind you still, so it's only 9 here. What's up?"

"You have tomorrow off?"

"Yep. Why? Wait… let me guess. You're bored and want to go on a date, right?"

"Yes. Very bored. Want to go do something with you. You game?"

"Only if that game is seeing you. Kisses. I'll see you tomorrow. Oh… there is totally something we can do together."

"Really? What's that?"

"Rimmen. I hear the town's been taken over by some new gang calling itself the Trade. Feel like joining me on a little… let's call it recon. And maybe some vigilante stuff?"

A date with Junna kicking butts and taking names? Now, that sounds like a fun date to me. But… normally… I'm very open to going out and kicking butt, but… something like this should not be between two people. "Are you sure we should go alone?"

There was a slight pause before a new message popped up. "You scared?"

I couldn't help but feel like we were walking into a trap. "Yes, actually I am worried."

"Ha!" She replied. "You're a big softy. Ok, fine… how about this? We make it a double-date. I'll bring my brother and his girlfriend. They're both Leos. They can handle themselves in a fight. The four of us should be able to handle a gang. So… you game?"

I did feel better if it wasn't just the two of us. And her brother was pretty cool. "Yeah, I'm game. Same as last time? Teleportation scroll?"

"Yeah. I'll teleport you to our location. Still got that bracelet?"

"Yup. I never take it off."

"Aww… you're so sweet. Ok, see you then. First thing in the morning. Well, for you, it will be 7, for me it will be 6. Kisses. Night."

I started to put my c-ball down when I heard Crassi sigh in disgust. "Vatu?! Mind not doing that at night?! Some of us want to sleep." Crassi turned her head over to me, squinting at the bright light my c-ball was producing. I didn't even notice. I have night vision so everything always looks bright. I guess humans have some amount of sensitivity to bright things. I shouldn't be surprised really.

I nodded to Crassi. "Sorry, I'll keep it dimmed."

"It's not just the light; I can hear you tapping away on your illusionary keyboard. And if I can hear you… our elven healer can hear you, and it's probably more annoying to her too!" Crassi said as she shifted on her bed, looking away from me over to Primrose. And it was true. Elves had better hearing than the rest of us. If me typing away on my keyboard was annoying to Crassi, Primrose would have a harder time ignoring it.

"It's fine, Crassi." Primrose said from the other side of the room. "It doesn't bother me."

Crassi groaned annoyingly. "Prim… if it doesn't bother you, why are you shifting around so much? I can see you trying to cover your ears." She rolled her eyes as she looked over at me. "So, Vatu. Just finish up your conversation and go to bed. The rest of us need some sleep. It's been a long week, and I'm sure we're all looking forward to our individual days off. Or… you can take your conversation outside. Your choice." Crassi finally turned to the other side of her bed.

As we all started to settle down to sleep, I texted good night back to Junna before closing my eyes. I too was pretty eager to get a good sleep before waking up to tomorrow's day of fun. I kind of wanted to see my sister. She's also in Torval, training with the Firedrakes. So, she spends a lot of time with Junna. That's good, I think. Nisha seems to like her just fine, but learning how to be a firedrake seems to be not a priority for her. She's studying the art of Alchemy there, since the Mages Guild here in Cyrodiil has taken a massive blow. The Mages Guild is pretty short staffed and is trying its best to get their old guildhalls in order before resuming any classes at the Arcane University. I could not wait until everything was fixed and good to go. I still needed to learn more things about magicka. We were rushed into the war, and because of it… there was still a lot I didn't know. Everyone seemed to think that once this war was over, and the Mages Guild recovered, we would all just go back to class and resume our training. I sure hope so. I would like to sit in a desk after this is all done and make jokes with my friends about how simple our classes were. Especially Enchanting.

As I contemplated our future, I started to fall asleep. And as soon as I felt myself slip away into my dream world, I felt myself being transported to a dream. Normally, there was a hesitation before I set into a dream. Not this time. I closed my eyes and suddenly, I was standing in field of flowers, Junna waving at me to come join her. Had to say, as far as dreams go, I'm pretty happy with this one. Normally, I dream about the day I had, or sometimes of previous battles. Hopefully, this is a dream about tomorrow. I sometimes have premonitions. You know… dreams that tell the future. It's an odd concept for me, and they started right after I was blasted by that Ayleid stone six or so years ago. So, the dream. I was standing in a field of flowers with Junna waving at me. As soon as I began running to her, I heard some alarms in the background. The sky began to darken; the alarms growing louder. Vatu! Wake up! We're under attack! That was Crassi's voice. And her face appeared in the sky, looking down at me with a sense of urgency. Oh well… so much for my dream.

I snapped my eyes open as fast as I could. Crassi was standing right over my bed, holding my battlemage staff in her arms. I nodded to her as I grabbed the staff. "Ok, I guess sleep will come later."

She nodded. "Yeah, we'll sleep when we're dead. Come outside. Our night guard says we won't believe it." We won't believe it? We live in a world where angels bomb the crap out of our houses because they believe we've fallen. We live in a world where we narrowly avoided a war with elven overlords. We live in a world of magic, werewolves, and everything else. What could possibly be going on out there? I couldn't wait to see.

I rushed outside with Crassi. Everyone else in our squad was already ahead of us. I could see Travis and Primrose just standing still staring up at the sky as we exited the barracks. The other squads were rushing outside as well, all taking pause as they gawked up at the sky. Once I made my way out behind Crassi, pushing past her and Travis, I looked up in the sky. I… I couldn't believe it. Our sky had turned purple again, like it was the Silence bubble all over again. Except, I don't remember seeing four worlds in our sky back then. Three of the worlds looked exactly the same, like exact duplicates. The fourth was much larger, and glowed bright blue. What on Tamriel was going on?

"I have a bad feeling about this…" Travis said, shaking his head.

"Don't say that, idiot!" Pra'ja said as she looked over at him. She, like the rest of us, was dressed in her pajamas, which seemed to be nothing but a one-piece with bunny rabbits. Huh… I never would have guessed Pra'ja would be one for bunny pajamas. Me… I sleep in a pair of loose pants. I'm basically shirtless right now. But, I have fur. It's ok if I'm shirtless. Not like shirts keep me warm when I'm covered in all this fur. "When you say stuff like that…"

There was a loud thunderous pounding nirnquake that threw us off our feet. My knees crumbled underneath me and I ended up on the ground. My head was spinning and I looked around to make sure my teammates were safe. When I looked around, I locked eyes with Primrose. She looked scared, but once she saw me looking at her, she quickly looked away. I sighed as I started to push myself back up to my feet. As I scrambled to stand up, I heard a loud grinding screech. It wasn't Aedra, but… it sounded mechanic in nature.

There was another pounding sound, but if felt lighter. I stumbled a bit as I started standing up, but it didn't stop me from seeing what everyone else was seeing. "Oh my gods…" Crassi shook her head.

I glanced over towards the Imperial City. We were in a small field overlooking one of the destroyed settlements up in the Nibenay Basin. We were on our way up to Cheydinhal, to help rebuild a lot of the stuff that was destroyed in the ambush we set up for the Aedra four months ago. Most of the town was already rebuilt, but everyone has been focusing on setting up our new defenses. Every major town had something special built into it. Thank the Aldmeri Dominion for the idea. We took their idea of Magicka barriers and made Shield generators and put them in the middle of the town. All we have to do is insert a grand soul gem and… up the Shield goes. They surround the whole town so that nothing can get through. And that's not the end of what we have. We have catapults now too.

I'm not sure the catapults will help us though. Looking over towards the Imperial City… and the massive metallic Dwarven spider walking along the middle of it… I felt like I was still in a dream or something. But… that couldn't be right. Conjuration portals ripped open all around the Imperial City. And coming right out of the portals were flying ships. What? What was going on?

I glanced over at Crassi. "Orders?"

She looked crestfallen. "Um…" She shook her head. She pulled out her c-ball and dialed in a number.

Erandur's face popped up on her c-ball. "Yes, Crassi?"

"Orders?" She looked up at the Dwemeric spider thing. "There's a giant Dwemer thing in the Imperial City. And flying… airships? I really don't know."

Erandur nodded. "We see them too. Ok, everyone. Prepare for teleportation. Hope you're all wearing your bracelets."

I looked at my two wrists. I had two programmed teleportation bracelets. One was from Junna so that we could date. The other was from Erandur, so that we could teleport to his location when need be. As soon as I looked down at my wrists, I was wrapped up in a bubble of Conjuration magicka. A second later, I was standing outside Kvatch. I was standing in a perfect formation with the rest of my squad. I stood right beside Travis and Primrose. I smiled as I glanced over at her. She glanced my way and then looked over at Erandur. I decided to look at him too. Our newly promoted Commander Erandur, stood at the front of our formation, gripping the handle of his katana that hung loosely on his belt as he paced in front of our formation. He wore golden armor that resembled Hans' old armor quite closely. He even had a blue mage hooded cape that flapped behind him. He looked amazing.

"Battlemages. This is it." He directed his free hand towards the Imperial City. I watched as the giant spider knocked down the White-Gold Tower in the center of the town. Those flying airships were firing something down at the town. It looked like Destruction fire magicka… only really finely focused. Those lines of magicka had to be large for us to see them from this far away. Man… I hope everyone in town was ok. I doubt it at this point. "The enemy is here, and they have taken the fight to the Imperial City. As you can see… it's under siege, and it's only been a minute since they've arrived. And now… we have to respond accordingly. So… we're beginning Counter-Offensive Operation: Snowfall. Everyone, attach your falling capes."

Oh man… last time I used one of those was during our old training days. The day we had to jump off the highest cliff in Cyrodiil and use only our enchanted capes filled with Levitation so that we could fall gently to the ground and suffer no damage while we did it. Each of us kept one of these falling capes on us at all times, stored in our little everbags. The everbags were a present from General Battle-Born right before he set off with the Hero of Cyrodiil to set up the new Emperor in the Imperial City. The previous one we had died during the Aedra Crisis. Now… there was a spot open for a new Emperor, and Adam was deadest on having it. He had everyone's support. He was an amazing, if cocky, hero. So, he was taking the throne, with the support of the other heroes from the Oblivion Crisis. So, if Adam and General Battle-Born were in the town, then they were no-doubted still in the town, fighting the Dwemer. I could not wait to see those two in action. I heard a lot of stories about how they fought the Mythic Dawn, and the necromancers. Seeing them fight the same enemy… that would be something.

I reached into my belt, pulling out my enchanted falling cape. I snapped it on around my neck, and I waited as everyone else put theirs on. I glanced over at Primrose. She looked scared and uncertain of the whole thing. She was having a hard time attaching her falling cape on. I could see her trembling fingers as she fussed with the whole thing. "We'll be fine." I said to her.

She glanced over at me, smiling weakly. "Yeah… sure." She finally snapped her cape on and turned to look at Erandur. Whenever she looked over at me, I saw a small flicker of anger. Just like when I talked to Nexa. I wish it didn't have to end the way it did. I only wish I could have maintained some amount of normalcy between Primrose and Nexa. Well… Nexa hating me. That's pretty normal. Primrose hating me… that's not normal. I guess it's better than having her fear me. I just wished we could still be friends. I missed being able to talk to her. Especially now that I'm no longer afraid I'll end up killing her if I get too close. The only problem was that… now I have a girlfriend. I shouldn't want to talk to Primrose, except unless she was a friend of mine, which I thought we were. Now, she won't even talk to me. I hated this, but I couldn't get her to open up to me. I wish I knew what to do, what to say to make things right. She did so much for me… and now I couldn't do anything for her.

I glanced away from Primrose over to Erandur. He was waiting for all of us to get our capes on. Once he saw that we all had our capes on, he nodded. "Ok… everyone to the catapults." Oh boy. This is why I love Operation Snowfall. Can you guess why we're walking over to the catapults, wearing falling capes? Or why it's called it's a Counter-Offensive operation called Snowfall? Well, about time we all find out. My squad walked over to our designated catapult. It had four launching chairs installed on the catapult. Now, we call it a catapult, but it's more like a crossbow. Once I took my seat, I sighed deeply. Everyone took their place as well, and once Crassi was sure we were all settled, she nodded to the battlemage holding onto our lever. As soon as he pulled it, I felt my stomach fly into my butt. I blinked as I was launched into the sky. The wind took me and I was soaring in the clouds. Battlemages from all around the legion were flying next to me. Some were ahead of me.

I looked back to see Primrose flying right next to me. She had her eyes snapped shut. I wanted to scream at her to open her eyes, to see the beauty of the clouds surrounding us… but then I remembered she had a fear of heights. She almost pulled my tail off one day because she fell from a mountainside. Things happen. She hated heights; and nothing could really ever change that. I glanced on back to us flying in the air. Looking off in the distance, I could see several more legions of battlemages from all over the capital flying up into the sky, all heading for the same location: the Imperial City. As the initial push of being launched into the air wore off, we found ourselves floating gently in the air, gliding down to the Imperial City. I love these moments. The moments where I can safely watch what's going on around me.

You know… it's at times like these that I liked to look around at the beauty that is Cyrodiil. I could see a lot of the towns down below us… the many forests, hills… the lakes. And of course, the many awe-inspired battlemages as they all took in the clouds that surrounded us… the hills below… and the Imperial City that continued to grow bigger as we glided down to it. I wanted to start up a conversation, but I think we all just wanted to enjoy this view while we still had it. You know what would be more impressive? If we were all dressed in our armor instead of being in our pajamas. Imagine you're a Dwemer god… dressed in thick armor, riding these war machines capable of killing gods… and what do you see flying right for you? People dressed in pajamas with flapping capes keeping them suspended in the air, flying right for you. If only we had pillows… we would be so fearsome. So very fearsome indeed. Those Dwemer would be pissing themselves any second upon seeing death flying towards them. Any second now.

As we drifted closer to the city, I could see just how big those Dwemer airships were. I knew they were big but… they were huge! "Open fire!" Crassi screamed as she pulled out her staff. A wad of lightning flashed out of the tip, slamming into an airship standing right in front of us. I reached for my staff as well, pulling it out as I aimed it at a Dwemer soldier dressed in what looked like less bulky armor of what they used to wear. Huh… it looked pretty cool. I'm stealing it when we're done. I aimed my staff at the Dwemer and pulled my illusionary trigger. A massive wad of Lightning and Frost launched from my staff, flying right at him. I hit him head-on, hitting him hard enough to knock him down. "Brace for landing!" Crassi warned.

I noticed it too. We were landing right on the main deck of the airship. Talk about good aiming. Whoever lined up the catapults definitely knew what they were doing when they lined up our shot. I brought my legs out in front of me, using my arms to swing myself in front of Primrose, who still refused to open her eyes. I tracked my fall as I landed gently enough on the airship, turning to catch Primrose. As she fell into my arms, she almost fidgeted out of them before I said, "Be careful! It's a long way down." I said as I helped her hit the deck lightly.

She finally opened her eyes, looking around. "Oh… we're really high up… we're really high up."

I nodded. "We'll be fine." I snapped my staff up as I aimed it at an advancing Dwemer soldier. I blasted him with a giant Icicle spell, hitting him right in the face. He fell backwards, falling right off the main deck of the airship. Primrose muffled a scream as the Dwemer fell to his death.

Primrose closed her eyes. "Nope. Nope. I'm not doing this. No." She curled into a ball as she sat down. Oh well. I guess she's out of the fight then. And I can't just leave her alone. I'll just have to stand next to her and help protect her.

I shrugged. "Ok then. I'll kill everyone." I glanced over at Thomas and Crassi. "We're down a healer."

Crassi smirked as portals started to rip open all around us. Shadow warriors jumped out of their Shadowports, taking the fight right to the Dwemer. Nexa was among them. Nexa nodded a welcome to Crassi before looking over at me. She scowled as she drew her weapons, jumping right into the fray. "We'll be fine." Crassi replied. "Now, do whatever you can!" She said as she launched a torrent of fire out of her staff's tip at an advancing wave of Dwemer soldiers. They charged right through like it was nothing for them. Huh… I wonder why fire magicka doesn't work on them. Oh well.

I started to charge out to take the fight to the Dwemer soldiers rushing in on my friends but… then I felt the whole deck shift. The other airships were firing on us now, hitting us hard. The whole deck shifted and I was suddenly sliding down to the deck. I could see the whole Imperial City down below us. And… we were sliding down to it. Oh man… that's not going to be a fun fall. Everyone was sliding down. There was a blast and I was knocked off my feet. Next thing I knew I was barely hanging on with the help of my claws digging into the holes in the deck. Everyone around me was screaming for help. There was another slam on the ship, one that knocked me back onto it. Everyone else was barely clinging on now.

I felt my head spinning as I looked down at everyone barely hanging on for their lives. Primrose locked her eyes with me. "Vatu! Help! I can't climb up!"

I rushed to go help her. "Vatu! Help! I can't climb up!" Nexa cried out next. Why was she asking me for help? Couldn't she just Shadowport herself back up to her feet?

"Vatu?" I heard Junna cry. Junna? I glanced over to where her voice was coming from. She was on the other side of the deck, barely clinging onto the ship. "Help! I can't get a good grip!"

What was going on? Why was Junna here? I looked around as everyone all started calling out my name. "Vatu? I taught you everything you know!" General Battle-Born screamed. "Help me up!"

"Vatu! Help! I'm pregnant and I can't climb back up!" Davilia screamed. That was a very convincing argument. She wasn't the only one going to fall to their death if I didn't help her out.

"Help me, Vatu! You're my only hope!" Crassi screamed from somewhere down the aisle of dangling people. What on nirn was going on here? I looked at everyone calling out my name. Erandur, Pra'ja, William (and he's dead), Nexa, Primrose, Nisha… Lilly, Ja'Daan, Junna, Jurard… everyone I know! What? Why? I couldn't decide to help… and as I tried to move… I felt the airship begin to tilt again. I was losing my own footing. If I didn't make a decision soon… we were all going to die.

"Oh… don't you see what's going on?" A voice whispered from behind me.

It made me snap myself around. Standing on the deck with me was a sharply dressed man with white eyes and a pointy beard. His suit was purple and red. He just stood there, a sick grin on his face as he stared me to death. "Who are you?" I asked as I brought my staff up to him. If he wasn't helping my friends, I bet he wasn't a good guy. He sure didn't dress like one.

He smirked. "Sheogorath… at your service." He bowed.

"Sheogorath? How? You can't enter Nirn anymore. Akatosh took care of that." Daedra couldn't just walk into our world anymore. The statue of Akatosh made sure of that. So, if that was true, why was he just standing behind me? In fact… why was he standing right behind me? This makes no sense at all. Why this moment?

Sheogorath nodded. "Aye, that would be true. And would continue to be true for perhaps… 200 years or so. Until Alduin returned anyway. Ah… but you don't care about that, do you? You just want to know… why this is happening. Well… the answer is very simple. Because I'm Sheogorath! That's why. And… this… this is a dream. Thanks to me. Oh… and guess what. This is your future, metaphorically, of course. What you see in front of you is a choice. Whoever you choose… they will survive. And whoever you don't… they will die." What? This was another premonition? I was still sleeping? Still dreaming?

Sheogorath smiled as the airship began to tilt more. I was barely able to continue keeping my feet planted on the deck. With a snap of his fingers, everyone let go of the deck. I heard everyone scream as they fell to their deaths. "What?" I glanced around. Everyone was gone. I looked back at Sheogorath. "You son of a bitch. Why are you doing this?"

He smirked. "It's just a dream, lad. Oh… but don't worry. It very well might come to pass"

Come to pass. What? "You're telling me that this… this is my future? Why? Why are you telling me this?"

Sheogorath shrugged. "Perhaps I want to see the world burn… perhaps I really like you. Or… perhaps you're related to a certain Khajiit girl that will give birth to the greatest pleasure of my life… and the only way she'll ever end up joining me is to see her beloved brother suffer for all eternity, before going mad and killing herself!" Sheogorath went off on a small tangent before stopping to straighten his crooked tie. He calmly looked over at me, shrugging. "Or perhaps it's none of those things. Who can say really, I'm just crazy. Speaking of crazy… you're going to love this. When you wake up… you'll be receiving a message. How you respond… will help determine the results of this dream. Pay attention closely. There will be signs. There is a bad end to this dream… and a good end. If you get the bad end… well..." Sheogorath shrugged. "I will have so much fun."

"Explain." I demanded.

Sheogorath smirked, bringing up his fingers, as if preparing to snap them. "See you soon. Really, really… soon." He snapped his fingers.

I gasped as I opened my eyes. I could already see the light filtering into the room of our massive tent. Everyone was already gone, except Primrose. She was making her makeshift mat of a bed. When I awoke, she glanced over at me for a second, looking me up and down, before turning her attention back to her mat. "Sleep well?" She asked as she fluffed her pillow.

"No." I replied. "Dreamt about the Dwemer. Everyone was dying… Sheogorath was killing them. Telling me to make a choice. Whoever I chose wouldn't die."

She glanced over at me. "Was I in the dream?"

I nodded. "Yeah."

"Did you choose me?"

I shook my head. "I couldn't choose. Everyone died."

She nodded as she turned for the flap of the tent. "Enjoy your date."

I nodded. "Um… thanks, Prim. Are… are you ok?"

She ignored me as she exited the tent. I really wish we could talk like we used to, but this is what the past four months have been like for us. I just wish I knew what I needed to say to her to get her to be my friend again. I found myself groaning as I turned for my c-ball. There was a text message waiting for me. Are you ready yet? Was I ready yet? Why did I suddenly have a sense of foreboding? Why? Something was not right. Something definitely was not right.

But, today wasn't a day to worry about it. I'll need a few minutes to get dressed and make sure my staff is charged up. I'll text you when I'm ready.

Cearbhail:

Foreshadowing... it's a thing. And I will see you in Changing Fates. Coming right after I get everything else caught up.
