C0tt0ncandi: Can I get struggling, but fluff newlywed Samcedes? Please?!

Mercedes eyes popped open at the sound of an animal scurrying outside of their tent, as she laid next to her husband in the dark. She scooted almost impossibly closer to the dirty blonde who was already pressed up as closely as he could get to her back, considering that her very voluptuous asset was in the way. Yet, Sam was in no way complaining. His hand rested lazily on her hip as he snored softly in his deep slumber. However, the sharp jab of an elbow into his rib forced him to wake up. "Puck...let me sleep just five more minutes man...I'm just...dreaming of Cedes...and her..." Snores reached Mercedes' ears once again as the man behind her fell back asleep.

"Sam Evans you better wake the hell up right now before I bite you." She whispered as her eyes darted around the space.

"Mmm, I like it when you're frisky baby, you know that." Sam's breath tickled the back of her neck as he laughed and brushed his fluffy lips against the smooth skin there. Mercedes reached behind her head and swatted at the man to leave her alone. Her short little finger connected with the squishiness of Sam's eye.

He grunted and jerked his head back from her hand. His eye was squinted as he stared at his wife in shock, "You just jabbed me in the eye Mercedes, I need them for my modeling career. You know that and you can't just be poking them alright, alright, alright?" Mercedes grumbled and turned around in their shared sleeping bag, since it was the only one that they had.

"Hush up, you big baby before I poke the other one out."

"That wouldn't be a very good idea if you ever want us to move out of this damn tent. Your music career is struggling and my modeling career isn't passed hand modeling at this point." He rubbed his eye with the palm of his hand.

"I guess you don't really need your eyes then and keep your voice down, I swear I heard something moving out there." She whispered fiercely as the hairs on her arm stood on end. "Can't we stay in a hotel for the night?" She pleaded, "You know...away from nature."

Sam sighed and looked at her, his fingers reached up to brush her hair back into her sleeping hat, "If we had the money then you know that I'd say yes, but what we have has gotta last us until the end of the week babe...for food and toilet paper. Which I personally don't think we need."

"If you don't buy toilet paper, I'm getting this marriage annulled." She threatened, but followed through with a smile.

"I'm happy to know that our marriage is based on if we have two ply toilet paper, I already told you that I can steal a ton of stuff from the coffee shop down the road." He placed a light kiss to the tip of her nose and buried his hands under the back of her shirt.

Mercedes shook her head, "No." She shivered at the feeling of his cool hands against her skin, "No, stealing. I wasn't raised like that Sam Evans and you know that."

"Well Mercedes Evans, there's nothing wrong with grabbing two rolls of toilet paper, they're there for the taking anyhow or else they'd lock them up." He chuckled and pulled her closer against him, "Now, I know this isn't the honeymoon you hoped for..." He kissed her gently on the lips, "...but we can still have a little fun right?"

His wife narrowed her eyes at him and scoffed, "I'm pretty sure I just heard a bear and you want to have some hanky panky?"

"You want him to join, because I can call h—OW!" Sam clutched his other eye as he looked at the woman before him, "Woman, you know I was kidding!"

She pointed towards the zippered entrance, "Go out there and make sure there are no lion's, tigers, or bears out there and then we can see what fun we can get into. But I'm not doing anything with my life in jeopardy." Sam groaned and unzipped himself from the sleeping bag and rolled out. Mercedes watched as his naked form came into view, "Sam! Why are you naked?"

"Because I knew you'd wake me up tonight, but I thought it would have been for something else and I didn't want to waste any time." He laughed as he pulled on his pants in the cramped space.

"You are crazy." She giggled as she watched him get dressed.

He winked at her as he slipped on his shoes, "Well you willingly married me, even though everyone told you not to, so I'd say you might be the crazy one over here missy." He laughed, "I almost called you Ms. Jones."

"Sam, get out there and see what was making that noise before I lock you out."

"I'm happy to see how easy it is for you to sacrifice my life Mercedes, great way to start the marriage."

Mercedes smiled and spoke in almost a purr, "You know what would be a great way to start this marriage?" Her voice light and breathy as she looked at him.

Sam's eyes widened and he quickly adjusted his pants as he inched his way back to her, "No, what?"

"With your head on a pointy stick that I will put outside for all the other husbands to see as a warning about how not to treat their new brides!" Sam rolled his eyes at the answer, moved towards the entrance, but jumped back when he saw a large shadow run across the front of their tent. "Sam what was that?"

"Uh..." He answered as he crawled back in the space next to Mercedes, "I'm sure it was nothing. Let's just go back to sleep." He reached over and attempted to pull her eyelids down before she smacked him lightly. "See if you had let me get that guard dog when I asked you to, we wouldn't be in this situation right now."

Mercedes climbed over her husband, pushing him down in the process. "We can't even feed ourselves, getting a dog would have been selfish."

"Well we could have fed the bear to the dog." He said under his breath but quickly quieted down when she gave him 'the look'. He watched as she grabbed their only protection, which was an old baseball bat, from the side of the tent. "Mercedes you can't go out there." He scrambled up.

She laughed, "I know that, I was going to threaten you with it." Reaching for him, she took his hand and pulled him into a deep kiss. His hands roamed over her sides as his kisses made their way down her neck and to the swell of her breasts. She pulled back and shoved the bat into his hands, "If you want more of that, make sure you come back in one piece..."the shadow ran across their tent again and they both stared at it silently, "...or at least alive." She moved forward and unzipped the flap of the tent, holding it back for the tall man to get through.

"If I don't make it out...just know that I -"

"That you love me," she interrupted, "I know Sam. I love you too."

Sam shook his head, "I was going to tell you that I ate the last poptart, but the love thing works too." He leaned in and kissed her quickly before running out of the tent. "Cedes close the flaps. Don't let anyone or anything in without the code word."

"What code word?!" She yelled out as she zipped the flaps back up. The sound of his footsteps faded away as she stood there confused, "Of course he wouldn't tell me the password when Jason could be running out there as we speak." For some time there was complete silence which made her nervous, until she heard a loud snap, and the sound of Sam yelling. Fearing for her husband, she opened up the zipper and ran out to find Sam with his hair dishevelled, crouching on the ground. In front of him was a raccoon with the baseball bat he had brought out for protection.

"Mercedes get back..." He whispered as the animal placed it's paws on to the wooden object, "I thought he would be like the raccoon from Pocahontas...he's not." He hissed as he moved towards her to make sure that she stayed behind him. She looked around the space and found a huge rock, picking it up she flung it at the raccoon and watched it scurry away. Sam glanced back at her and then stood at his full height. "That was my next move." He cleared his throat as she gave him a look. Laughing, she shook her head and wrapped her arms around his waist. His back now facing the direction the raccoon had run off.

"I bet it was." She mumbled against his chest before stepping back to smile up at him. "I married the most insane man and yet... I love him so much, it's unbelievable." She grinned, "We live in a tent in the middle of a forest and I have to shower at different houses all the time." He sighed and she pat his chest reassuringly, "But it's an adventure and I'm so happy to be here with you." His eyes crinkled up in the corners as he pulled her in for a tight hug.

"I love you too." He rubbed his hand over the curve of her back.

"Sam..." She said quietly.

His ears perked up at the sound of a growl, "...Cedes.."

"The raccoon...the raccoon's back." She said slowly. Sam turned around and stared at the raccoon, which had come back with four others. They all stood behind the bat that was still on the ground. "How attached to that bat are you exactly?"

"I'll whittle another one, let's go." He grabbed her hand and pulled her quickly back into the tent. Zipping it up quickly behind them. The couple turned to look at each other and collapsed on the somewhat comfortable sleeping bag.

"So...hanky panky time?" Mercedes whispered against Sam's lips as they cuddled.

Sam shook his head, "I'm slightly traumatized by that raccoon, but I'm definitely up for a quickie in the morning."

Mercedes looked relieved, "Okay good, because your breath smells." Sam narrowed his eyes and squeezed his wife playfully, tickling her as she thrashed about. When he was done torturing her, he smiled and closed his eyes. She sighed and followed suit, as the sounds of the raccoons shuffling outside lulled them to sleep.
