AN: hi there! not sure how far this idea will go, seeing as my muse disappears. but i hope ya'll like this anyway.

Cameron Hicks; former army sniper, former baseball player. Made it to the big leagues until for reasons yet to be discovered, his pitch came up short. He became angry and frustrated, turning to drinking. Though he got sober, his wife left him, taking son Tyler with her. Now he's in a fight for custody. Cam felt isolated, losing faith in himself everytime he couldn't throw. That is until a chance of unfortunate events led him to the team of ALPHAS. What is it about these people, and their abilities, that draws him in?

Gary Bell, 24 year old young man. Works under the guidance of Dr. Rosen, a psychologist who put together this group of ALPHAS. But Gary is different, he needs some measure of care and routine, constant surroundings. And rarely fits in with people outside of those 5 with abilities. Why? Because Gary's autistic and on top of it has the ability to see, track and manipulate electromagnetic waves. It's very hard for him to understand why people are strange around him, but with help is able to keep his secret.

Cameron was shocked the day he started hearing voices telling him to kill. And he almost succeeded. But the team stopped him, proved his ability to have perfect aim and that he was a hyperkinetic. Given variables, he can often work backwards and find the starting point of the particular case they're on.

Gary was the first to spot Cameron, knew he was special just like him. Though his mind was different than the young man's, he knew this new friend had similar abilities. He was drawn to Cam who seemed to not mind Gary's boldness. And where the transducer often doesn't know how to relate to people, his friends understand. He often repeats what he hears, not understanding context. But every once in awhile, you see his kind heart shine through. This is displayed when he tries to connect to autistic yet misinterpreted Anna.

No one's quite realized how strong Gary and Cam's friendship is, but they seem almost brothers. Or at the very least very close friends. Though shown differently these 2 teammates are protective of each other. In coming events, that bond may be tested.
