Annabeth's POV

It was a beautiful day at camp. Percy and I were at the beach. I wore a tee shirt over my simple bikini. Percy wore just his swim trunks. We sat in the sand, holding hands. It was a week after the Titan war ended.

"I want to show you something." Percy said.

"What?" I asked.

"Just come on. Oh, and, you're going to get wet." He said, running into the ocean. I took off my tee shirt, and ran after him. He was knee-deep in the water, waiting for me. When I caught up to him, he put his arm around my waist.

"You should hold on." Percy said. I decided not to argue, and put my arms around him. We took off into the water. Percy was doing something so I could breathe. We were going fast. Really fast. I couldn't even tell where we were going. We super swam for hours.

"Close your eyes." Percy said. I didn't know what difference it would make, but I did as he said. I felt us slow down until we stopped. "Open your eyes." I opened them. What I saw took my breath away. We were deep. If it weren't for Percy, I would have been crushed. Also, based on where we were, the water was freezing. But again, thanks to Percy, I felt perfectly fine. We were facing one of the most fascinating things in the world. Something that had an amazing story, and people are very lucky if they get to see it. Yet, here I was. In front of a boat that sunk one hundred years ago. We stood in front of the Titanic.
