Artemis shifted on her bed once again. She growled with frustration. "Why can't I sleep?" she asked herself. She knew the answer but refused to let herself think about it.

Her subconscious wasn't listening to her because it kept bringing a certain redhead back into her thoughts. She glared up at her ceiling. Who does he think he is? Invading her thoughts and dreams like he had some power over her!

She'll show him, she's capable of not thinking of about him. She sat up on her bed and smiled with confidence. She can do this. She's Artemis Crock: an independent and strong woman.

As if her brain was playing with her; she started thinking about the lucky day she got to see Wally in all his shirtless glory. He was sparring with Superboy so intensely that he didn't see her. He was sweating and it was making his skin shine.

His muscles flexing and being so deliciously emphasized with the intense workout Superboy was providing. She sighed dreamily then growled when she realized what got her into a daze.

She got up from her bed and padded over to her kitchen and turned on the lights. She opened the fridge door and grabbed a cold water bottle. The cold water refreshed her and cleared her thoughts. It's time she faced reality.

Time to admit the facts. She, Artemis Crock, has a tiny crush on Wally West. It's out in the open now. She sighed with satisfaction and walked back into her room.

With the blankets surrounding her she snuggled up in her bed. His name popped in her head once again and her stomach was instantly swarmed with butterflies. Okay maybe not so little.
