An opened his eyes rapidly, blinked to moist his eyes, finding himself lying next to a silver haired girl; and on the other side of the girl, there was the familiar young blond lying, with his eyes closed. He looked to his left, finding his assistant looked concern and seeing a silver haired ANBU, standing at the end of the bed with Jiraiya.

"An-chan," Kazuhiko murmured as he realised his leader was awake. His murmur was so soft that An was even thinking that he would not have heard it in his dreams.

An blinked and looked at the girl again. He remembered. They heard about the rumours in the village, hence they took some time to come down to have a look. He then remembered without taking too much cautious, he touched the girl's hands and he was then drawn into the darkness. His original memories rushed in, filled his brain as he analysed his memories quickly. "Butterfly's dream…" he murmured. He sat up and leaned forward to check on the blond. He felt the young silver haired man's sight followed as his hand as he touched the young blond. Every signs of living intact, so as his conscious. Seems like the blond needed more time than him to recover. "Don't worry," he comforted the young shinobi, "he is fine, just needed some time."

"What has happened, An-sama?" the assistant grasped his control back and asked politely.

"This girl," An began, "she's my own offspring. My blood flows in her and so as my abilities. She…" the girl's painful memories filled his mind. "This young woman," he corrected himself, "was out of love, out of hope in her life, as so she believed in. She…" The hateful faces echoed to the ones that he saw when he was younger. Being a young vampire was always difficult, even when the human society was much simpler years ago, but the cruel nature of the human existed. "She was hated by life, at least she thought so. She dreamed, as too weak to end her own self. she drew people into her dreams, as I then was, unexpected, unaware of her abilities…" He stood up and flattened his jacket and continued, "she has married the wrong person and simply get herself into troubles. She did not know what to do and how to get out. Death was always on her mind, but she was too weak to do any more effective amendment to her life. In some way," he added, slightly dissatisfied, "it's a disgrace that she is a descendent of mine." He nodded softly as he noticed a cat faced ANBU revealed his presence from the wooden wall next to the bedside cabinet.

As An finished his sentence, the blond woke up. He was puzzled as he found himself lying with a young woman, hands crossed together. He jumped out of the bed rapidly. "Ero-sennin? ANBU-san? Where was I?"

"You were unconscious, Naruto," the Toad sennin answered, "after you touched the woman. You remembered? We come here as you want to see the true story behind the mystery witch in the forest, in his house?"

"Oh.. sounds familiar dattebyo… So..."

But before the blond could continue to speak, the silver haired Hound masked ANBU frown as he felt the vampire's murder instinct and pulled the blond towards him, pressing his face to his white chest plate. Ears were covered; all he could feel was the heat and the smell of the ANBU agent.

An drew out his white katana, Tsuki, and pieced through the woman's heart. Small exhalation was the only noise that the dead woman made. She looked peaceful, unlike the rest in the room.

The Cat faced ANBU agent looked offended as tree shoots shoot out from his left fingers tips, guarding his companion in Hound mask. "Senpai?" he questioned softly.

"No need," the man replied, loosen his grip. "If it is like what Sasaki-san has said, the girl belongs to his clan; there would be no reason for us to intervene. Our mission here is completed, since Naruto is awake."

The boy heard his name and looked up, seeing the agent's masked chin and silver haired. "Kaka-sensei? Is that you? My nose hurts dattebyo."

The agents remained silence as Jiraiya replied, "brat, to stop you acting irrationally. If a head of clan issue punishment to his own clansmen, Konoha would have no right to intervene. It's for your own good, Naruto."

"But!"

"She was unconscious, she was as good as dead," the silver haired agent replied, his tone was tired. "According to our investigation, that was what she has been asking for. She attempted to employ a shinobi to eliminated her existence, but then, she freaked out. Even if Jiraiya-sama did not ask for assistance, she is on our list, especially if it is true that she is the reason that quarter of the village were unconscious."

The cat faced agent nodded in agreement, "as what senpai said, it's just a matter of time."

Naruto wanted to say something, but loss in words. He, in some way, was still distracted by the broken images that he has when he was found unconscious, or at least that was the others thought. "Kaka-sensei?"

The ANBU did not acknowledge the name, but paused and turned, as he made his way out with his kouhai. "Train well with Jiraiya-sama," he said softly. "jiraiya-sama, see you next time when you're around."

An stood up and nodded to the older man, gesturing their departure. He smirked as his gaze landed on the young blond. He opened the door, letting the warm afternoon sun casting daggers on his skin, revealing his tattoo. He remembered the dream, and he was amused that he saw the red string tightly tied the young blond and the silver haired agent together. The blond would run to his sensei again, never giving up the love that he cherished. Unlike the curse that the Rikudo-sennin has casted in the Dream, which he found it quite absurd as he never would think his friend could ever act so calculative, the man was his best friend and he, for sure, was not restricted to love. "Let's go, Kazuhiko."

Author's Note

With some unfortunate events, I have not have time to update exactly on the dot... Sigh... Nonetheless, it has been three years ago when I started to upload chapters of this story here in Fanfiction. Three years, it has been some times as lots of good and also unfortunate events took place and hence it shaped my view on how I project An's character and hence if you felt that there is odd changes towards his personality.

Anyway, it has been my pleasure to write and thanks for following and reading it. There may be chances that I will write some more, telling the tales that Kakashi, the vampire and Naruto, the priest, encountered as they travelled... but no guarantee.

Once again, thank you for reading.
