A/N: I do not own or will ever own anything made by Bioware or George Lucas. I have played KOTOR a lot and when the Old Republic came out, I had to pick it up. This is my idea of the Jedi Knight storyline.

(As a warning I am aware the grammar is rough at best...believe me I know. If you can read through it and make sense of it, then that's all I am asking for.)

Chapter 23

The Power Guard Project

"Coming out of hyperspace in three, two, one,"said Kira while pulling back gently on the throttled and brought the Kayer Ackonora to a cruise speed.

Staring out in front of them was the brightly lite moon Nar Shaddaa. For Kira, this was sort of a homecoming. After fleeing Korriban and the it's academy she eventually ended up on Nar Shaddaa spending most of her childhood on the smuggler's moon.

"Nar Shaddaa? Doesn't that mean Glorious Jewel in Huttese? Asked Tristan's padawan Allure Secura from her navigators seat.

"Don't let it's name for you Allure. Nar Shaddaa is ten times worse than any of the seediest sectors on Coruscant's lower levels. Corporations use the floating tax law of anything goes as long as you pay off the right people to do whatever they want. And unfortunately any refugees or people who are displace on Nar Shaddaa only have violence, struggle, and if your lucky...death to greet them"she finished explaining to them.

Feeling her on personal emotions on the matter getting the best of her, Kira took several deep breaths in order to help calm herself down once more.

"I am sorry Allure. I didn't mean to snap at you."

"It's okay master Carsen,"she said offering her a sympathetic look,"there is no ignorance."

"There is knowledge,"she replied finishing her sentence for her.

Hearing her husband chuckle from the captain's seat, Kira turned the light class corvette a sharply to the left causing him to lean forward and almost fall out of his chair.

"What was that all about?"

"Just dodging some large space debris."

It was then T7 started beeping back at the fact there wasn't any space debris on it's senors when Kira interrupted him. "That's because you weren't looking straight ahead my little friend. Sometimes the ship's sensors don't pick up everything."

Giving her annoyed whistle that indicated that the astromech droid wasn't buying it knight Carsen simply choose to ignore its protests and continued flying them towards Deucalon Spaceport. Weaving through the space traffic that orbited the moon, she carefully guided them inside the Republic sector.

"Nice landing Kira."

"Please Tristan...I could do spaceship landings in my sleep."

Giving her an amused smile, Tristan turned and fallowed his padawan out of the cockpit. Fallowing quickly behind T7, Kira made her way into her and Tristan's shared master bedroom. Going into the bathroom she made sure to straighten her hair and add a little amount of makeup to her face. Once she was satisfied on how she looked, Kira couldn't help but gaze once more at her new robes. Wearing a dark blue long sleeve shirt that had the Jedi's symbol in gold on it's front along with a midnight purple color skirt and black shoes she was rather pleased on how she looked.

(You all done staring at yourself?)

(Shut up.) She fired back through there link.

Coming out the bathroom, she made sure to grab her and Tristan's cloak before leaving the room. Handing Tristan his cloak, he quickly put the the dark purple cloak (that had Dantoonie symbol on the back) over his own new robes. He had on dark blue and purple colored robes, sharp pearl white tunic, tan under shirt, dark blue leggings and black boots. Both of their robes were gifts from Tristan's cousin Reilly (the Regent of Dantoonie). At first Tristan didn't want to accept them. But when Reilly said it would insult her and their home planet if they didn't accept the Dantoonie Champion robes, he finally relented.

"Shall I contact general Suthra master?" Asked Tristan's maintenance droid.

"Of course C2."

A few second later they were greeted with the blue holo-image of the Mon Calamari general.

"General. I've arrived on Nar Shaddaa. Still no word from agent Galen?"

"Negative,"he replied frowning a bit,"after Ord Mantell and Taris I fear the worse. I'll warn you now, the project there is...I should have ended it years ago."

"This doesn't sound good,"added Allure as she folded her arms across her Echani leatheras Jacket.

"After the Empire's victory on Coruscant during the war, people were terrified. We looked weak, helpless. The senate authorized research into science we had no business exploring. Using technology to turn ordinary men into living weapons. The Power Guard Project was creating the ultimate soldier. One tough enough to fight a Sith head on."

Shaking her head, Kira understood the ramifications of what he was trying to tell them. "Messing with things like that never ends well. You should have contacted the Jedi Order first. We are you're best bet in dealing with them."

"Your Order was nearly extinction. The senate feared you might never recover. Nar Shaddaa has the latest in cybernetics, combat adrenals, personal armor, and weapons. Everything we need to create the Power Guards. There's also a distinct lack of government oversight. Laws are practically nonexistent."

"General, this goes against everything were fighting for,"said Tristan crossing his arms and giving him a stern look.

"Trust me Jedi, this wasn't a decision I made lightly. I tried I our best to keep us clean, but I think in the end it really didn't matter."

"What are we looking for?"

"I placed a single operative in charge of the Power Guard project. Gave him unlimited authority and enough credits to fund the program. The research facility operates in complete secrecy. Even I don't know where it is."

"But Angral said he knew about all of our secret facilities,"stated Allure, causing everyone turn and look back at the general.

Nodding his head, Var Suthra put his hands behind his back. "Our operative has disappeared and Agent Galen vanished trying to find him. I can only assume they're dead or captured."

"Don't give up hope general. If there alive, will bring them back."

"I certain hope so. I need to coordinate with the Strategic Information Service branch on Nar Shaddaa. The bureau chief's name is Rieekan. SIS headquarters is hidden on the Promenade. You'll visit a merchant shop and use a secret turbolift in the back to meet Rieekan."

"Okay, anything else general?" Asked Tristan who made eye contact with her before turning back to him.

Shaking his head, general Suthra pulled out a data-pad. "I am transmitting the location coordinates and turbolift security code to you now. Good luck...Var Suthra out."

Closing the holo-transmitter, Kira turned to look down at T7. "Did you get all of that?"

Whistling back to her that he was capable of processing information faster than speed of light, Kira couldn't help but chuckle lightly. "Hey, I am just checking. No need to fry a circuit my friend."

"C2. I want to you stay on high alert while were gone. Don't let anyone on board unless I, Kira or Allure say's too."

"Of course master."

Leaving the holo-transmitter room, the three Jedi and astromech droid descended down the set of stairs and down the boarding ramp onto the moon's surface. Looking around, Kira couldn't help but feel a few butterflies fluttering in her stomach as she took in the surface of Nar Shaddaa again for the first time in ten years.

"You okay?" Asked her husband while putting his hands on her shoulders from behind.

"Yeah. It just...nothing's changed."

"I know. It's a lot to take in."

Nodding her head, Kira turned around to meet his blue gaze. "Don't worry, I won't let you down."

"You can't even if you tried,"he whispered back to her before letting go of her shoulders and joining his padawan.

Pushing the button to raise the boarding ramp, Kira took a moment to look around at the moon's busy traffic and bright neon lights. Feeling a sense of calm washing over her, she took a deep breath and quickly joined the rest of her party.

"Just fallow my lead."

"Whatever you say partner."

Finding the cheapest and most reliable speeder Kira was able to haggle the price down from 50 credits to 35. Taking control of the green and blue speeder she started to fly them towards the Promenade.

"Did you visit the Promenade a lot when you use to live her master Carsen?"

Weaving them past Zabrak and Duros who were having a heated argument about the speeder accident they were just in, Kira shook her head. "Not really. The Hutt's don't like it when refuges are around for the public to see. It's bad for business. So our leader discouraged us from going there."

"So how did you get around the moon?"

"Nar Shaddaa has many levels and vents. You be surprised how easily you get when you not afraid of getting a little dirty."

"I'll keep that mind the next time you complain about ruining your clothes,"said Tristan giving her a teasing grin.

Rolling her eyes, Kira opened up there force bond. (You're asking for it.)

(Really? What did you have in mind?)

(Do you really want to try me?)

(Always.) He added in amused tone through there force bond.

"Don't worry T7. They can't hear us when there using telepathy."

"Actually,"added Tristan as he turned around in order to face his padawan,"I can hear you perfectly fine. Our force bond simply allows us to hear each other better."

Raising her hands in self defense, Allure gave him an amused smile. "Come on master. I would never say anything bad about you."

Not being able to hide her own amusement Kira could see out of the corner of her eye Tristan bring his gaze on her. "Awe what's matter. Can't take a joke master Rivers?"

"Oh I can take a joke Miss Carsen. Don't you worry about that,"he said in a seductive tone, causing a shiver to run down her spine.

(Tristan. Not in front of your padawan.)

(I am trying.)

(Well try harder.)

(How hard would you like me to try?)

(Your incorrigible, I swear.)

Feeling his amusement, Kira lowered the speeder towards the Promenade. Parking the speeder, Kira made sure to check the locks before they all exiting the vehicle.

"Thieves. There everywhere."

Hearing T7 beeping his agreement, Tristan turned his attention on the little astromech droid. "We need to find Gudnem's Gadget Emporium. You led the way my friend."

Fallowing T7 through the crowds of people who were busy shopping, Kira couldn't help but glance at the pair of Sith where looking at some trinkets. Sensing her prescience, the human cyborg turned in her direction and merrily glared at her before turning back to the Sullustan.

Unfortunately for both her and the Sith they couldn't do anything while on Nar Shaddaa. The Hutt's made it perfectly clear they would not tolerated any fighting between the either groups.

Making there way around a few kiosks they finally spotted Gudnem's Gadget Emporium near the back on the first floor of the Promenade. Heading inside they were greeted by two male Cathar guards who simply glanced at them before turning away.

"How I can I help you?" Asked a female Mirialan in Huttese from behind the counter.

Having grown up here on Nar Shaddaa Kira was fluently in Huttese. "Where looking for something very specific. Can you help us?"

"Of course. What are you looking for exactly?"

Walking up the counter, Kira took the data pad from her husband and passed it to her. Looking over the data pad, the Mirialan nodded her head. "Okay. I think I can help you. If you would please fallow me."

"I didn't know you spoke fluently Huttese?" Asked Allure while they went behind the counter and into a storage area.

"Well that's because you never asked."

Hearing Tristan chuckle lightly at her comment, Kira smiled back at him before they approached a blank shelf in the far corner of the storage area.

Giving them a small nod, the female Mirialan quickly left the storage room and went back to the front counter.

"T7, your up."

Beeping back to her to stand clear, the astromech droid rolled forward and stopped right in front of the blank wall. "Data base 9024/HuttGGE,"said the recorded voice of general Val Suthra.

Immediately the book shelf next to the blank wall started moving to the left until a small control panel was expose. Walking up to the panel, Kira hit the button and stood back as the wall in front of her now slide up and exposed the secret tubolift to them.

Going inside the lift, the three Jedi and an astromech droid rode the lift up until the doors opened to them. Immediately they were greeted with a pair of agents who had high powered shotguns pointed at them.

"Easy there. We're Jedi."

"At ease,"said the male Bith in basic to the two guards,"sorry about that Jedi. But you're unscheduled arrival."

"Understandable. Given were inside a secret Strategic Information Service base on Nar Shaddaa, one can never be too cautious."

Nodding his head in agreement, the male Bith put away his blaster pistol. "I am assuming your here to meet with Bureau Chief Rieekan."

"Yes we are. If you could show us to him we would greatly appreciate it."

"Right this way Jedi."

Fallowing the Bith through a small series of doors and one long hall they came to the headquarters of the SIS on Nar Shaddaa. A large apartment had been covered into a massive storage facility with computers and other analyzing systems set up all around them. Going past a few agents who were discussing something they saw on a data-pad they were led up to human male and male Twi'lek who were having a discussion about something important.

"That's the fourth agent this week to not make the weekly check in sir. We need to pull out before our operation is comprised,"stated the blue skinned Twi'lek.

"We can discuss this later agent Tander. Right now, I believe we have special guests."

Sighing heavily, agent Tander gave the bureau chief one last look before turning and leaving them.

"Are you having a problems bureau chief Rieekan?" Asked Kira, causing the tired looking man to chuckle lightly to himself.

"This is SIS Jedi. We're always having problems. But on a serious note we have been losing agents in multiple sectors. Agent Korol Tander is right to be worried. There is a real possibility that our location here might be comprised. But none the less will stay here as long as we can. Now, how can I help you?"

"We're trying to find agent Galen from Coruscant. We know he came here to gather some information on the Power Guard Project that the Republic had set up here on Nar Shaddaa,"added Tristan, causing the 50th something man to run a hand through his goatee.

"Indeed agent Galen did come by here. Unfortunately for you he didn't stay long and left about a week ago."

"Do you know much about the project?"

Shaking his head, the Bureau Chief led them over towards female Kel Dor agent who was busy scanning multiple systems. "I do not. While I was aware of the Power Guard Project, I was not inform of it's whereabouts nor what they did there. I had inform agent Galen of this as well."

"That really doesn't give us a lot to go on bureau chief."

Instead of responding Rieekan simple turned his attention on Kel Dor. "Shazia, can you find any encrypted information that agent Galen might have stored within the past week?"

"Of course sir,"said the agent who began typing very quickly on her keyboard.

A few seconds later she stopped typing and pointed to the screen. "There's a decode block on his channel sir. Unless you have the proper decryption code it will be at least a week before I can crack the code sir."

Immediately T7 began to whistled and beeped at them about having the decryption code he got from general Val Suthra. Rolling forward, the astromech plugged into the system and began uploading the code to the data base.

"Okay. Code bypassed. We've got times and locations...standard tracking details...and one priority holo. Would you like for me to play it?"

"Of course,"added Tristan, causing all of them turned around and see the holo-image of agent Galen standing on the ground.

"Found our lead operative, dead. He'd been tutored. The Power Guard data files are missing. No clues to the main facilities location, but there was evidence of a recruitment center here. The project was using refugees as test subjects. The recruitment center's my best shot at finding the main facility. I'm going in. Leaving the sites coordinates, just in case. Galen out."

"Wow. He actually went in alone. That took some guts,"said Allure as they all turned back to Rieekan.

"Indeed it did. But this is troubling. If the Empire has gained control of the Power Guard project we all could be in some serious trouble."

"That is the very reason why we are here Bureau chief. Will find agent Galen and stop the Empire from taking the Power Guard Project."

"Okay. Just keep us informed. If you need any help will be here as long as we can."

Coming out of a rather large air vent, Tristan could finally see a large opening in front of them. "See. I told you we were on the right path,"added his wife who turned around and offered them a smug smile.

"I never doubted you Miss Carsen."

"I was talking more to your padawan Mr. Rivers."

Chuckling to himself, the Jedi knight gave her a warm smile. (Not to mention...I enjoyed the view the entire way.)

(Your lucky I love you.)

(Oh I know that one.)

"Fine I will say it. You were right master Carsen. I should have not doubted you,"said his padawan in a slightly annoyed tone.

Hearing T7 whistle that it could have easily confirmed that Kira was on the right path with a simple scan if she would have only let it.

"But then it wouldn't have been as much fun my little friend."

Shaking his head at her comment, Tristan fallowed Kira until they finally came to the exit of the air vent. Using the force to open the grate that was blocking them from leaving the vent, Tristan held the grate open until everyone was out before dropping down himself.

Landing inside the Nikto Cector, Kira was able to lead them right to the front doors of a large sewer facility that had seen better days. Oblivious the Nikto warriors who ran this sector carried little for the proper treatment of the sewage. That was why they had leased the building to independent contractors. This was how the Republic had gained a foothold for there testing of the Power Guard Project outside Republic laws.

Tristan was still bothered by how far the Republic was willing to go in order to gain advantage over the Empire. Using the desperate and hopeless refuges that littered the streets of Nar Shaddaa was just as bad as the Empire using slaves.

(Sweetheart. You okay?)

(I am fine.)

(I can sensed your lying.)

(Not lying...but more like bothered.)

(I understand your frustration. But we have a job to do.)

(True enough my love. True enough.)

"So...any ideas on how we get inside this facility?"Asked his padawan as she and T7 were busy scanning the area.

Using the force, he couldn't sense any force users within the immediate area. Although that didn't mean that there weren't anymore inside or father underground. Seeing only regular patrols dressed in brown uniforms of some security firm, Tristan knew getting inside would be the easy part. Discovering and finding what happen to agent Galen would the hard part.

"We go through the front door."

"That's not very stealthy master."

"Sometimes the best approach is the most direct."

"I will keep that in mind."

Coming out of the shadows, the three Jedi and one astromech droid calmly walked up to the front gates of the sewer facility. Immediately the two masked guards who were guarding the front gates stopped them.

"Halt refugees."

"Refugee? Do these robes look like something a refugee could buy?" Asked Kira who pretended to be insulted by the guards comment.

"Perhaps not. But I suggest you turn back whoever you are. The Nikto in this area are more likely to kill you and take your precious robes for themselves."

Giving his padawan a wink, Allure responded by nodding her head. "You will let us in."

"I will let you in."

"Afterwords you leave the area."

"I think I need to leave the area after were done letting you in."

Watching both guards move away from the gate and open it for them, Tristan couldn't help but give his padawan an encouraging smile. Altering the mind of two people at once is not something done easily. And given the fact she did it with such confidence showed just how impressive her force powers will be once she reached her full potential.

Entering the compound, Tristan couldn't see anything out of place. Walking up to the front doors, the head guardsmen entering the pass code to let them in and immediately turned and along side his friend and left the area. Opening the doors, he quickly went inside along side the rest of the his party and closed the doors behind them.

Instantly they were greeted with the sight of two squads of Imperial troopers and war droids who were being addressed by a female human captain.

"Halt. Who the hell are you?" Asked a confusing looking male Imperial sergeant.

Seeing there robes and armor, Tristan could tell the sergeant was putting two and two and together very quickly. Thrusting out his hand, he hit the sergeant with a strong force push which sent him flying backwards and crashing into a group of Imperials who were still busy listening to their captain.

"Jedi!" Someone shouted just as he activated his viridian green and cyan blue light sabers and jumped high in the air.

Landing in the heart of the sewer facility, Tristan quickly cut down six Imperial troopers before they even had a chance to try and defend themselves. Immediately he came under heavy fire as he was forced to bring up his blades in order to deflect there blasts that were being shot at him from all angles. Holding his ground the best he could, Tristan knew it was only a matter of time before he would be forced to fall back.

Right on cue his wife slammed into the columns of war droids on the left. Hitting them with a massive force ionize, she was able to disable or shut down both columns in a matter of seconds. While Kira was busy cutting down the remains of the droids, Allure appeared on the right and used her Malacia on another group of Imperials. Seeing them stop firing and drop to there knees in pain and discomfort, Tristan was finally able to move.

Charging forward, he slashed outward and across his body, easily cutting two men in half across the chest. Spinning around, he blocked a blaster bolt into another man's chest while using his cyan blade to impale another woman through the throat.

Suddenly his force awareness alerted to him to the danger coming from right. Turning to that direction, he spotted a man armed with a rocket launcher getting ready to shoot him despite the fact that he would kill many of his own troopers. Before he could even raise a force shield the man was suddenly shot in the back three times and dropped dead.

Spotting T7 rolling forward, he gave the droid a small nod before charging forward once more. Throwing his viridian green saber forward, he cut down four more troopers who were attempting to shoot his padawan in the back. Blocking a wave of blaster fire that was being aimed his direction, Tristan in return sprung forward into a series of rolling side flips.

Blocking and dodging numerous shots that was aimed at him Tristan reached the female captain and her guard. Landing right in front of her, he easily cut her blaster pistol in half with his blue saber while stabbing forward with his green and impaled the captain in the middle of the chest. Pulling out his light saber out of her chest, Tristan simply looked at the two guards before both of them were cut down by Kira and Allure respectively.

"Well now we know that the Empire is here,"stated Kira while deactivating her double bladed light saber.

Nodding his head, knight Rivers closed his eyes and opened himself up to the force. Feeling the building and it's cold machines, he finally felt the life force of people beneath the ground they were standing on.

"We need to go down."

Without evening say anything, T7 used his jets to fly down to their level and went to work on the nearby console. A few seconds later the ground they previously fought on started opening up to review an secret under ground passage way.

Hoping down, Tristan turned towards wife. "Kira. You take point."

"I thought you would never ask,"she added in amused tone.

Fallowing Kira down the underground passage, he began to start to see the signs of the Republic's research on the Power Guard project. Moving past empty storage cages, containers, and a series of lines set up in order to process the refuges that split off into two sections.

"Kira, you and Allure take the right path. Me and T7 will go left,"he whispered to them.

Using the force to silent his movements, he crept forward through a small chamber that was used to screen the any refuges who they deemed where either unfit or not healthy enough to be used during the experiments. Moving past the screening room he encountered a long hall that led eventually into a much wider room.

Immediately he could sense the life forms of numerous living beings echoing from the room that was in front of them. Moving forward, Tristan spotted refugees who were being stored inside large cells while a group of Imperial shock troops were busy trying to organize the area. Stacked in the corner was a pile of Republic corpses that looked like they were a few days old.

"Now...I want some damn answers. Why are you here padawan?" Asked a heavy armor shock trooper to a man who was tied up to a table and who had been severely beaten already.

"I told you before. I don't know. I came here to help. I don't know what they were planning."

Shaking his head, the Imperial grabbed a shock baton from his belt and jabbed into his side. Holding it there for a good 15 seconds he finally pulled it away. "I can keep doing this all day Jedi. Your not the first nor will you be the last Jedi I have tortured. And just when you think you can't stand it anymore, I will start all over again. So...the choice is yours. Tell me what I want and I will give you a quick death. The only thing you are doing is prolonging your suffering."

Knowing that time was against them, Tristan signaled to T7 to wait here and cover there exit. Spinning it's head around as acknowledgment to his order he quickly sneaked forward.

(You ready to strike.)

(Always.)

"Last chance padawan. What are you doing here?"

"Fighting you bastards!" He shouted before turning spitting some blood onto the shock troops helmet.

Reaching up slowly, the trooper wiped the blood of his front of his helmet. "Wrong move padawan."

Sprinting forward, Tristan forced pulled the man's blaster out of his hand and caught it in his hand in his right hand. Using his left hand, he swung down and unleashed a strong force wave which knocked the three shock troopers who had turned around to look at him off there feet.

Using the interrogator's weapon against his fellow Imperials, Tristan fired several bursts into the three troopers on the ground before tossing the tossing the weapon forward and hit another person in the helmet. Right when the remaining shock troopers were going to response to his attack Kira and Allure appeared from out of now where and cut them down where they stood.

"T7, lower the shields on these prisons."

Beeping back to him, the little astromech droid rolled forward until finding a computer console. With Kira and Allure making sure the area was clear of any more Imperial's Tristan strolled forward towards the captured padawan.

"Thoma?" He asked not sure if the man was in front of him was indeed the same apprentice he saved all those years ago.

Blinking his brown eyes a few times, the beaten padawan stared up at him. "Tristan? Is that you?"

Loosing his binds, Tristan was able to free him. "Allure. I need you over here. Thoma needs some of your advance healing abilities."

"Of course master."

Leaving Kira to finish sweeping the area, Allure walked over and put her hands on his body. Feeling the force flow between them, he saw the injuries Thoma had received were quickly disappearing before he was well enough to stand once more.

Looking around, Tristan spotted the shields that had been keeping the refugees inside their cells suddenly disengage. Grabbing a hold of his holo-commicator, Tristan holoed the chief bureau.

"Chief Rieekan? The recruitment center was overrun with Imperials. No sign of agent Galen, but I've just freed some refugees."

"Not refugees,"spoke a male Anomid,"heroes. These people put their lives on the line for victory over the Empire. Names Vell Narroc. Been recruiting volunteers for the Power Guard Project since it started."

"These people actually asked to become test subjects willingly?" Asked Kira in a disbelieving tone of voice.

"The Empire stole their homeworlds. They jumped at the chance for payback. Over the years hundreds of people volunteered for the Power Guard experiments. Heroes. All of them."

"So...what did the Empire do once they took the facility?" Asked the bureau chief.

"They rounded up as many of the volunteers and took them away in cages like these. We were going to be the next until you came. I just can't believe they know about this place. I am afraid they are in complete control of the entire operation now."

Sighing, knight Rivers ran a hand through his goatee. "Tell me where the Power Guard experiments took place?"

"Never seen the main lab. But it's some place in the red light sector."

"The red light sector. Good luck trying to find anything in there."

"Why is that master Carsen?"

"Because it's the one the busiest places on Nar Shaddaa."

Turning back to Vell, he could see the Anomid was thinking for a moment. "Well I've heard it's the only place to have a dedicated energy reactor. Does that help?"

"Absolutely,"added the holo-image of chief Reikeen,"contact me when you reach the red light sector. Will find that the lab soon enough. Reikeen out."

"I will get these volunteers to safety. I hope you kill everyone of those damn blasted Imperials."

Turning around, he could see a wary and tired looking Thoma staring back at him. "Thoma? Where is master Lanko?"

"Master Lanko is safely on Coruscant. I...I...actually came here to exile myself."

"Exile yourself?" Asked Allure who had a stunned look on her face.

"Yes exile myself. Look, I was never going to pass the Jedi trails. After our mission here on Nar Shaddaa I told master Lanko that it was best I stay here. To see if I could try and help these poor people in any way I can."

"And master Lanko was okay with this?" He asked not sure if he believed him.

Shrugging his shoulders, Thoma ran a hand through his short black hair. "I don't know if okay is the right word. More like disappointed. But the none less he agreed with me decision. He even let me keep my light saber. Which I am thankfully I hide before trying to help agent Galen storm this place."

"What do you want me to tell the council?"

"Nothing. Padawan Thoma doesn't exist anymore. I am simple someone who is trying his best to help as many of these people as I can. But...tell Iris and Kolva, I will always cherish the memories we had together."

It was then the former padawan reached out and held his hand in front of him. "It was honor to know you master Rivers. I will always remember what you did for me."

"No Thoma. The honor was mine,"he said taking his hand and shaking it.

A/N: This is going to be a long story and I am not sure how long it will take me to finish it. So I welcome any reviews and read each one of them with care. Even if they are to address my bad grammar or spelling. As you can always learn from something. Thanks for your time.
