High School to Remember

~A Cross-Over of Special A and Kaichou wa Maid-sama~

Author's Note: Good day everyone. Genki? Hope all of you are. Also I'm very very very VERY sorry for not writing any chapter for months. I know you've waited for so long and I'm deeply apologetic for it. Just been busy with so many things. And maybe by these future months, I'll be busy more than ever. Actually, these past few months, I've met some Japanese and befriended them. (Yes, they're really fun to be with and very nice.) And I even learnt many stuff about their culture and country. This is all because of the class I'm taking. It is really fun learning their culture, the geography, language, literature and even their art. So let's stop my blabber for now and go with the story.

Disclaimer: I don't own Maid-sama nor Special A. So a very special thanks to the two mangaka-sama who made these two great mangas.

Character Recap:

Misaki Ayuzawa – Seika High School's first female Student Council President. She's a very strict and responsible person. However, she hates men. But even if she's a man-hater, she works as a maid.

Takumi Usui – one of the students of Seika High and a very popular guy. A very mysterious type. He's the first one in their school to discover accidentally that their president is a maid. A self-proclaimed stalker while Misaki described him as a perverted alien from planet pheromone.

Ryuu Tsuji – a student from Hakusenkan Academy. He holds the 7th place however, it was shown that his real intelligence ascends to what place he's in. He's very responsible and protective especially to his friends.

Last Chapter Recap:

It was Saturday and Misaki's plan, together with Vice-Prez (Yukimura), was only to see stores that can sponsor for their festival and just happened that Usui force himself to join. Accidentally, they bumped to Tsuji Ryuu in the train station where he was waiting for Kei. He then decided to accompany them. And as they part ways, Kei was actually waiting for Ryuu when they received a message from Akira asking them to buy a cake. Ryuu decided that he'll be the one to take care of it. And then he saw the president, wearing some sort of fairytale costume, dumbfounded as she stared back at him.

Now the secret's known. What shall our Maid-sama do? How can she escape this coming predicament? The situation is becoming tougher and tougher. Challenges still keep coming through. High school is really something to be enjoyed and be never forgotten. Expand this rivalry. How should the game go on? This is where the best defeating the other's best. A ball game or not, let's just keep the ball rolling…

Lesson 8

Can You Keep a Secret?

There's a man who just stood still and seemingly like a deer caught in the headlights. And there's a woman who just stood straight again from bowing while her smile fade away when she was caught by surprise by the man she never thought to see this day. Both know each other yet no one dared to speak. It was as if their tongues were held up by something.

So before we continue the scene here, let's see what happened before then.

A minute after Ryuu went on his way to see his friend, it was Ayuzawa, Yukimura and Usui again.

"It's a very productive day today! Thanks for the hard work Yukimura." Ayuzawa tapped Yukimura's right shoulder. "I can handle the rest for now. So you can go back home Yukimura."

"But Kaichou, aren't your home same direction as mine?" Yukimura suddenly asked which surprised Ayuzawa.

"Aah—Uhmm~ I need to go to work now. I said it a while ago, right?" Ayuzawa answered with a dry laugh and wishing that Yukimura won't dig more.

"Oh, yeah. I heard Kaichou has a part-time job." But then what she was scared of came out. "What kind of job does Kaichou has?"

"Ah, just the normal." She answered nervously while Usui was just standing beside her without saying anything as if he does not care.

"But wha-" And saved by the bell. The train where Yukimura supposed to ride came on time.

"Oh, Yukimura, yours already came." Ayuzawa pushed him inside as she waved her hand for a good-bye. "Be careful on your home."

And thus the train left with Yukimura. Ayuzawa found her air to breathe once again. "So shall we go now?" Usui lead the way as the train they're going to ride was already there.

"Its family day today, you know. So there are only kids inside. But then, why are you coming with me?" Ayuzawa reminded him.

"Yeah, I know. But Tenchou-san asked me a favor to be the cook again for today." Well, it seemed that the foods that Usui made got a lot of good reviews from the costumer.

"I see." And thus Ayuzawa dismissed their conversation and the two fell silent while Usui just kept staring on the tired president.

As both came to Maid Latte at the same time, the manager was smiling widely while in her 'moe'-mode. Misaki just ignored the manager (since she's quite used to it) and made her to her locker to change.

"Oh, yeah Usui-kun. You can change with this." Satsuki-tenchou said as she gave a white polo and an apron to Usui. "Well, you can change after Misa-chan."

"Okay. Though I prefer to change with Misa-chan."

With Misaki's sharp ears, she heard what he said. "HEY PERVERTED OUTER-SPACE ALIEN! Don't spout perverted things!" she shouted while the manager grown more flowers than earlier.

And after changing, the day start again for them in the Maid Latte, serving customers to their utmost pleasure.

Delivering the orders from the customers, Misaki went to Usui to put it in plate.

"Hey Misa-chan, how did you choose your roles today?" Usui asked while Misaki arrange the orders she needed to deliver to the table of the customers.

"Just by draw lots. I don't care much though how they pick it. I'm okay with any role."

"You're Alice, huh?" Usui took a glimpse of Misaki. "I think it's better if you have drawn Red Riding Hood."

"Eh?" Misaki wondered why he said that.

"I'll even dress up as a wolf and eat you up." Usui said while giving off a smirk from his face feeling satisfied upon Misaki's reaction.

"W-w-w-w-what are y-y-you sa-saying?" It almost made her speechless. "You pervert!"

Misaki was about to give Usui a punch when the manager came in with her 'moe'. Again, they were about to get drown from the flowers she just produced.

Composing herself again, Misaki went to serve the customers. And then went to where she must.

While Misaki was cleaning one of the empty tables, then she heard the door opening. And since she was the closest there, she decided to greet the new customer.

"Okaerinasaimase, Goshujinsama! Have-" she stopped from her movement when she recognized the face.

Same goes with the other. Both fell in silence for some minutes, when Ryuu decided to break it. "Do you have the Butterfly Chiffon Cake today?"

"Aa- Uhmm… Y-yes, we do have." Misaki was fumbling with her own words. 'Thank goodness, he didn't react as bad as I thought,' that what goes to her mind.

"Please let me have it."

"Please sit here and wait for a while. Please enjoy the wonders of the fairy land." Misaki tried her best to act she should normally do as a maid.

"A- Okay."

After 5 minutes, the Butterfly Chiffon Cake was served for a take-out. And Ryuu was quite startled when she came to his table. "Thanks," he gave his appreciation while giving his credit card for his payment.

"No, Master. The pleasure is all mine." Misaki said while giving a small smile and went her way to the counter.

Ryuu just kept staring at her. He really wanted to ask on why the President is working there as a maid. At first, he really didn't want to believe that it really is her. But then, he was not that dumb not to figure that out.

Not so long, Misaki went back to his table and gave the receipt for him to sign and made his leave. "Please come again, Master!" Misaki mustered her strength even though that she was already feeling jelly knowing that another person from school came to learn her secret. And not just that. She didn't even called him out for a while to talk to him about keeping her work a secret.

As Misaki went to the kitchen to put the used dishes to their sink, Usui noticed the gloom face she was making. "What's the problem, Ayuzawa?" This really turned him to ask seriously.

"Ah, it's nothing." Misaki noticed that they were alone again.

"It feels like nothing to me. Just speak up."

"Tsuji Ryuu," she mentioned the name as Usui flinched just by hearing it.

"What's the problem with him?" He asked with a more intense stare leaving his current work.

"A- It was just," she paused for a while. "Uhm, he saw me just now."

"Eh?"

"What should I do?"

"Shall I talk to him on Monday?" Usui offered his help.

But then he was flatly rejected. "No. I'll trust him for now. I'll believe that he won't utter a word from today."

In the meantime, Ryuu and Kei just came to Akira's home. And it seemed that Hikari was so excited for the festival and started making some plans for it.

"Hikari was already fired up for the festivity even though it looks like the president won't let us help." Tadashi commented.

"You're right. She looks like Kei the 2nd to me. Refusing any help and taking all to herself. We still want to make that festivity as lively as possible." Akira unexpectedly seconded with Tadashi.

"Hey, don't just include me with your conversation just like." Kei interjected.

"But it's true. Right?" Asking everyone to which everyone nodded their heads. "Don't tell me you forgot about the festival we had last time? You almost did all if not for my cute angelic Hikari." She reminded Kei as she approached Hikari to give her a hug.

"But I wonder how make her agree for us to help in the event?" Jun, though being still shy around strangers, wanted to try on the festival preparation.

"Blackmail?" Megumi raised her writing pad for a suggestion.

"Maybe that's a good plan, Megumi!" Akira seemed to be excited about the suggestion. "We just have to tail that president around and find her weakness."

Ryuu, who had known one, didn't tell anything of what he saw earlier. "Hey, guys! I think it's not good to follow someone and find something that might ruin her. We can think of other ways to help right? I'll try to convince her somehow."

"Well, if Ryuu insists it to be like that, we can't help it." Akira gained her finesse composure as she sat on the couch behind her.

Ryuu just smiled knowing that everyone left everything to him. So maybe, he really need to keep what he saw at the Maid Latte a secret.

Time passed by so quickly and Sunday just came like a breeze. Monday. Another day for our special transfer students to attend their classes again. Well, there were many things happened just a span of one week. Do I have to mention everything happened? LOL. Aren't you lucky? Of course, I won't.

But then going back to the story, it was lunch break and Ryuu went on his way to the Student Council room. But before he could even reach the door, President Ayuzawa came out.

"Good afternoon," Ryuu greeted hoping that it would just look normal.

"Ryuu-san, I have something to talk to you about." Ayuzawa said with a serious look and then started to walk.

Already knowing what she meant about the "talk", Ryuu just quietly followed her. And not far from a distance, Usui was staring gloomily to where they went to.

Both went to the backyard where no one was around. It felt like someone called to be bullied or something like that. But then, Ryuu was not surprised. After all, they really need a place where no one's present.

"Is this about what I saw last Saturday?" Ryuu gained the courage to speak first but it cannot be denied the nervousness he was currently having.

"Yes. Exactly." Ayuzawa just wanted to get straight to the point since all had been revealed to him. "I want you to keep it from everyone. I know this is selfish of me but being a student council president, I mustn't sully my name right now."

"But haven't you doubt me that I might have already told my friends on what I saw?"

"I believe in you Tsuji Ryuu—as a person to be trusted and as someone who always help me." This answer just made Ryuu blushed. "You told it to no one, right?"

Ryuu just nodded his head for she already knew that he won't tell a soul about what he just learned about her. "Can I ask something then?"

"Please go ahead."

"Why are you working as maid there? I think you can work other part-time job. You are strong after all."

"Maid, huh? To answer that question Ryuu-san, let me first tell you. I'm indeed strong but I also have limits. And my limit is that. I can't just accept heavy work since I have a job to do here in the council. So even if I feel kinda awkward being a maid, I accepted it because the pay is good. But that doesn't mean I don't like my work. I like everyone in there, that's the truth. And even with my situation, I don't regret working there." Ayuzawa explained in delight remembering the faces of her coworkers.

"I see." Ryuu smiled gently. "Don't worry. I'll keep your secret a secret."

Ayuzawa gave a sigh of relief. "Thank you very much!" She smiled widely since her problem was somehow resolved.

But then, seeing her smile made Ryuu's heart skip a beat and he felt his face was quite hotter than usual. And it made him smile too which mirrors hers.

end of chapter 8

Sanbaka: Hai! Hai! We're appearing again here.

Shiroyan: But then, aren't we hardly ever appear here. Hoi! What does this mean!? They still haven't seen how cool we can be.

Tadashi: Chou- We can stop there.

Sanbaka: HA!? Just who do you think you are!?

Tadashi: I'm just real owner of this corner. So can you leave now?

Sanbaka: As if we'll allow that!?

Tadashi: Isn't that a maid?

Sanbaka: *looks to that direction* MISA-CHAN! *started running away*

Tadashi: Who's that Misa-chan? Well, doesn't matter. To put everything aside, I think that Ryuu is quite suspicious. He seemed like keeping a secret from us. Not just that. He keeps on helping the student council with some menial work. I wonder what he ate. Oh my! I'm having a bad premonition. It seems that someone will come. I think I need to prepare myself for anything that might happen. Next chapter: "Lesson 9: Where You Should Be"

Hinata: Hey, I just brought lots of candies. Want some?

Tadashi: Sure. *both eats*

A/N: Wow! Two author's note for a chapter. Sorry guys. I really have to say this. Actually, it took me three days to finish this story (Of course thinking about the scenario and finding words that should fit and of course, finding inspiration to write). But then, I still hope I'll have the energy to write one more chapter before this vacation ends. Please enjoy this chapter and tell me what you think. (Though I think that this was kinda rushed.) Love you guys! Mwah!
