Hin stood with Neji outside the family home today was when Gaara was leaving back to his home and therefore Naruko would become Hin's girl once more. Neji looked at his cousin, his brown hair fell over his shoulder as it was early morning and he hadn't had time yet to tie and treat his hair. "Are you sure today is the day?"

"Well Gaara goes and so me and Naruko will get closer again.."

"Well good luck Hin" Neji said softly and smiled before backing into the house, "I really do think you are some sort of an idiot" He muttered as he wandered into the living room and began to clean up ready for the day's work which was going to be undertaken within that room. Neji hummed as he worked, picking up small toys from some of the younger clan members and began to pile them up so that he could pass them back to the owners.

Naruko was already awake which was rare since she loved her sleep and also hated mornings, her blonde hair was tied up into a ponytail with her fringe hanging in front of the beautiful blue eyes of hers; she wore a white tank top with black shorts and high knee high boots. Walking down the street she was going to the fountain to meet Gaara and say farewell until the next time they would see each other, they may not have started off super well but now they were very close almost like family. She came around the corner and paused seeing Hin and Gaara stood speaking but with somewhat raised voices and a lot of arm movements Naruko instantly knew it wasn't a friendly goodbye. Jogging over she couldn't help but hear some certain words,

"Hey what the hell is going on here?" She asked placing her left hand on her hip and glaring at both the boys,

Gaara dusted his shoulder down where Hin's hand had been rested moments ago, "He is being ridiculous" He said, "He was saying about me wanting to take you home with me" He said simply, flicking his red fringe with his right hand. "Keep your teammate under control Naruko cause I won't stop my actions next time" He said darkly, giving her a quick hug he moved away and left. Temari and Kankuro were standing watching with smiles painted over their faces just glad that their younger sibling was finally getting on making friends and just growing up and not being as dark as he used to be. Naruko placed her hand on her hip and shook her head, the long blonde hair was over her shoulder moving like a fox's tail in the breeze, she finally turned around and began to walk away towards the shops thinking about what to make for dinner tonight. Hin blinked standing still unmoving until Gaara have left his sights he didn't move and then once the red head had gone he turned expecting to see Naruko but she had made her exit and was now long gone; Hin sighed before smacking his forehead,

"I'm such an idiot" He muttered before he quick walked down an opposite street going towards the Uchiha home hoping Sasuke would be in so that he could speak to him at least.

Naruko was sitting on the river bank sighing softly, for her lunch she had bought herself a sandwich and a drink and was now relaxing on the embankment watching the fluffy clouds just thinking, kicking her boots off to reveal her feet she laid back and yawned widely placing her hands behind her head after she finished the can.

"Hey Naruko" A voice said from above her, glancing up she saw Itachi and his fluffy white cat Hakujin looking down at her,

"Hey Itachi, Hey Hakujin" She said and sat up looking at him over her shoulder, Itachi grinned and sat beside her and his large cat plonked its butt on Itachi's lap purring in the sunlight happily.

"You ok?" He asked looking at her, the breeze had dropped and the sun's beating rays were felt by all.

"No not really...what do I do Itachi?" She asked, "As much as I like Hin... I hate him"

"Why?"

"Well today I saw him threatening Gaara just cause we were close, so oh I don't know what to do. I don't think it could work if he was going to be so over protective" She sighed softly.

Itachi blinked his soft onyx eyes and laughed patting her shoulder, "You know it won't be like that, he only did that because he didn't want you to fall for Gaara, he wanted to protect you and after what happened at the Sand Village he does have his reasons. Plus he asked for help from the zombies and well they didn't give him the best advice. He is lost when it comes to women and everybody is telling him something different. He loves you and you love him. That is all that matters" Itachi explained to her all the time keeping eye contact with her. Naruko smiled faintly and looked away shutting her eyes.

"I know you're right, you always are" She giggled and then looked up opening her eyes once more, "I think I will go find him now and tell him this, thank you" She said and gave him a quick boob hug before she ran off. Itachi shook his head and stood up,

"I think I will stick to cats Hakujin so much more simpler."

"Meow!" Was the response he got from his faithful companion.

Hin was with Sasuke as they walked towards the academy it was summer and therefore the school was shut but the facilities were still allow to be used such as the swimming pool or the gym. Walking in they looked around the corridors were dead and only the sound of the air conditioner was audible, Sasuke led the way as they glanced into the classrooms wondering where the normal studiers were. "This seems odd Hin"

"I was thinking that too" Hin muttered, Shima who was wandering on the floor sniffed the air looking around unsure of the situation as well. As they went down the stairs they came to the swimming pool and glanced around. Shima had wandered over to the pool and dipped his right paw into it meowing; Sasuke walked to the wall and began reading something whilst Hin went near the diving board and glanced into the crystal water, the stairs was just behind him. Footsteps tapped down each one, Hin turned to see a blonde mess tackle him and both went flying into the pool below. Sasuke turned around and ran over looking in as Naruko and Hin surfaced, Naruko was laughing while Hin was just treading water glaring at her.

"Heya Hin" She smiled softly "Oh don't look at me like that" She pouted slightly,

Sasuke stood by the side and offered his hand out to help them both out, Naruko swam over and took his hand pulling him in laughing as he went under the water and had to quickly swam back up and gasped for air. His makeup had ran down his cheeks and his cat ears had fallen to the back of his head, he rolled his eyes and began to backstroke around. Naruko smiled and looked at him swimming smiling,

"Hey Hin I just wanted to tell you something" She muttered and lent to him whispering.

He blinked and a smile grew as he pulled away, "Really?"

"Yeh..." She nodded, placing his hands on her shoulder he pulled her in and kissed her lovingly.

3 years later

Soon as Naruko and Hin had turned 21 they had decided to get married, Hin popped the questioned whilst they were on a rescue mission, maybe it wasn't the best place to ask her but the sight over the cliff on where they stood was perfect and naturally she said yes. They had two ceremonies one with the four Hokages underground and then secondly in front of the entire village, everybody turned up and all the missions were put on hold at least till the reception. It was a memorable day for everyone. Iruka gave her away, Sasuke was the best man, Sakura and Ino were the bridesmaids wearing ruby coloured dresses and Itachi was the ring boy. For the honeymoon they went away to the romantic lakeside near the mist village, it was the perfect honeymoon location and a lot of couple did go there. After a month the newlyweds returned to the Leaf Village to find that Iruka and Hin's family had put together and brought them their own house.

Naruko was making the bed in the bedroom, it was a one story house in which they were living in, the window looked out to their small back garden, Naruko had big plans for it, Hin walked into the bedroom and looked around, "I've finished unpacking all the boxes" He said looking at her smiling. She looked up and nodded,

"Good. I think once the house is all cleaned and done we should have everyone over for a BBQ" She said.

Hin nodded, "Good idea" He said patting her shoulder, "I will go plug the TV in and such if you want to make us a cup of tea" He winked turning away, Naruko laughed and followed him.

"Fine. But you can cook dinner tonight, I still have to paint the bathroom"

"Ok" He muttered as he went into the living room whilst Naruko went into the kitchen. She appearance had somewhat changed since her teenage years, the long blonde hair had been cut, it once scraped the base of her back now just passed her shoulder blades, her dress sense had changed to clothes which covered her more. It was all her choice Hin didn't have anything to do but she wanted to be loyal and therefore didn't want people looking at her lustfully.

For dinner Hin made a simple chicken salad, carrying both plates into the living room he passed Naruko hers and smiled, "Sorry I will put the table up tomorrow so we can eat in the kitchen" He said with a smile.

"It's ok love" She said and began to eat.

Somewhat of a short chapter, I wanted to get back into writing and I thought I would start of here. Sorry if I have ruined it for anyone. Reviews would be nice. Thanks :)
