I Hate Everything About You.

Running. Panting. She turned around quickly to make sure she wasn't being followed. Her eyes widen as she caught sight of the monster. It charges at her. She acted instantly and drew her knife. Cut. Swipe. Dodge. Duck. Jump. Stab. She was light of her feet. Then she saw it. She acted and threw her dagger into its heart but not before she felt it swipe her stomach and she began to bled. "No" she thought as the monster vanished. "Please don't die baby." She looked at her stomach as prayed that there was no harm. She struggled to stand up and began to hobble to the nearest city.

She woke up screaming. She took deep breathes. Her door flew up. In came her daughters Lucy and Aria, her adoptive son Nico, her best friend Nick, his girlfriend Alex and her brother Damien. Her kids came into her bed and cuddled up to her. She smiled shakily and hugged them tightly. Then she said "I'm fine. Go back to sleep." Alex and Damien looked at her concerned but left. Nico smiled sadly and kissed her cheek. "I'm sorry." He left and carried Lucy in her arms and Aria followed. Nick looked at her and shook his head. "Belle was it that nightmare again?" She nodded. Nick smiled sadly and climbed into bed with her and wrapped his arms around her. He kissed her forehead and she smiled and fell back asleep.

Nick stared at her- his best friend and "Little Sister". She didn't deserve this. She didn't deserve to be betrayed and forgotten. He knew that she missed her past life and friends. Sometimes he would catch her gazing at Nico, her daughters, or the ocean with a sad look on her face. Then she would turn around and order everyone to train. That's why everyone was here. They were all hurt by the ones they loves. They all came together and were now a strong team. Their leader was Lord Chaos. She was their general and Lord Chaos daughter. He peered down at her as the moonlight shone on her face. She looked different than she looked in her past. Nick knew that if anyone from her past saw her, they wouldn't recognize her. Even her parents wouldn't have. Her hair was longer and instead of being one solid blond color she had color steaks of black, purple, red, and blue. Her grey streak and eyes was the only thing that hadn't changed. She was skinner than she was three years and was taller. Nick yawned and thought back to how he first met her.

One 18 year old boy and two 17 years old were in a dance club together. The brown hair 17 year old boy was laughing and winked as a nearby girl waved at him. The girl with the brown hair was also laughing as boys whistled at her. However, she had eyes for no one but the red head boy sitting at the bar. The red head looked her open and down and frowned. "Why aren't you wearing the dress I got you? Is it not good enough? Does it not fit? You should lose some weight." The girl's smile flickered and her eyes became sad. She said nothing. However the 18 year old boy was fuming. She was beautiful and perfect! How could this boy say otherwise? The 18 yr old walked up to the couple and said "Alexa, I will see you later." The girl nodded to him and her boyfriend glared at him. He walked through the club towards the bar where his cousin Faye was working. (Faye was a petite girl but she was loud. She had long black hair with big blue eyes. She had pixie wings tattooed on her back. She was 25 yrs old and was engaged with long time boyfriend Zack. She was also his favorite cousin. She had practically raised him and knew how it felt to grow up without a parent. She never got mad when he was kicked out. She was just ruffle his hair and began to look for another school). Faye looked at him and smirked. "You still love her cuz. Just tell her, she loves you too. He's no good for her." Nick rolled his eyes at his cousin's idea.

Faye smiled and gestured to the right. "Do me a favor and check up on the new girl. I see some guys bothering her. I'm pretty sure she can hold her own but be there as back up." Nick nodded and walked over to the group of boys. As he approached them, the guys scattered. He saw why. The new girl was glaring so hard he felt as if he was burning in Hades. She had long blond hair that had one gray and then one blue streak. She had piecing gray eyes and was showing the early stages of pregnancy. He felt a surge of protection towards her. She turned her eyes to him and stared at him. He held a finger gesturing her to wait a moment. Walking to his cousin, he asked "What times the new girl get out?" Faye raised her eyebrows. "She's pregnant and I want to make sure she's alright."Judging by his cousin's shocked face he guessed she had no idea. Faye nodded and called out "Annabeth." Annabeth walked over. "You are free to go. Your shift is done. Nick will drive you home."Annabeth turned to study him and nodded. "Don't worry I'll make sure Alex and Damien get home safely." Nick nodded his thanks to Faye and gestures for Annabeth to follow him outside to his car. He took her out to grab a late dinner and got to know her. It was late so he offered to let her stay with him for the night, promising she wouldn't be harmed. After a while she gave in and he took her home and gave her his bed (he took the couch).

After a while, Nick managed to break her cold exterior and became good friends with Annabeth. They would always hang out and were protected of each other. She told him about her past and why she ran. When he found out that she was crashing in hotels, he invited (forced) her to move with him. Annabeth moved in and she became friends with Alex and Damien. They were all there when she gave birth to her daughters Aria and Lucy. He and Alex were named godparents. He met Nico and the two became close. Annabeth knew all his secrets. If it weren't for her, he would have never asked Alex out. He was thankful for his new family.

Nick smoothed back Annabeth's hair. He kissed her forehead and walked out the door. He hoped everything became better for all of them. He really did. Turning to the window, he vowed. "Percy Jackson, I swear on the daughter of Lord Chaos's life, you will pay for what you did to Annabeth. That's a promise." Outside, a light blue and yellow streak appeared in the sky. It streaked across the sky and was headed to a camp in New York. Once, it reached the camp, it changed shapes and became an eight point star- the symbol of chaos.
