So this is based off a piece of Pixiv heaven that I currently have set-up as my wallpaper (And as this story's cover.) Dear god, I think this pairing is the most adorable ship I've ever seen. Dump those old ships, get on the god tier Visorship!. . . I should stop playing Black and White 2...

Speaking of that...Is this the first Visorshipping fic on the site? Haven't seen any else, just a bunch of GreySky (Kudos to that author by the by.) Oh boy, I feel like I'm writing history as we know it, I just hope I don't inspire a lot of sexually raunchy fics.

Bah, who am I kidding? Those will come regardless! Oh, and please review! It is appreciated ^^" I kinda think I messed up on this, but ehh, the first one's not always the best, right? Heheh,

Still

Kyouhei winced, he really wanted to move. He and Mei had just broke to rest a few minutes ago and he was already itching to get back on the road, perhaps it was his lust for adventure. Who knew?

He could still recall the day that he had her. As if it were just a few days ago...That was when Kyouhei blinked, dumbfounded. It was a few days ago.

During his travels in Nimbasa City, Kyouhei ran into the Subway Masters, Emmet and Ingo. Partnered with a girl who was also just starting on their journey, they teamed up and defeated the two together.

Following that battle, the girl handed him a Vs. Recorder, and the two agreed that they were stronger together than fighting alone. From that point on, the two traveled together in hopes of becoming Pokémon masters, even if they had tons of conflicting ideas and beliefs. Pretty generic story, but hey, it was the truth, did you honestly expect it to be something more groundbreaking?

"Kyouhei!. . . Earth to Kyouhei!"

The boy in question almost jumped in shock, "Aahh!" he was so sucked into his little recap story so bad that he forgot he was doing Mei a favor. A favor that Kyouhei found quite irritating to perform.

"Pay attention! And stop fiddling so much, my trick won't work unless you stay still!" Mei chided, wagging her finger in the boy's face.

Kyouhei pouted, looking up into the sky, "I don't see why I have to sit still, but your Snivy gets by just fine!"

The boy and girl looked over to the grass snake Pokémon, who was currently engrossed in raiding her master's bag for anything valuable or visually appealing.

In order to further chide the boy, Mei took away his Tepig, cradling it in her arms. Immediately after, Kyouhei put up a fit, "Hey! What was that for? !"

The girl stuck her tongue out in response, "Shame on you for not cooperating then. I asked you to sit still and you didn't agree, so this is your punishment! Isn't that right, Tepig?" she coyly rubbed Tepig's cheek. The pig responded by humming in delight to her soft touch.

"See? He thinks I'm right! It's clear that the majority of us vote against you. So, sit still Kyouhei! If we do this right, then something good's going to happen!"

Kyouhei raised one of his eyebrows, "Wait a minute, how do you know?"

The girl folded her arms behind her back, unknowingly breaking her own rule, "I don't! But wouldn't it be cool if it did?"

The boy opened his mouth to retort, but he was promptly shut by Mei, "No, no more talking please! Be quiet and sit still. You have to calm yourself and cleanse your mind in order for this to work!"

"I really don't get what we're trying to do here. Where did you hear this "trick" from anyway?"

Mei tapped her chin lightly to recall where she had learned the trick, again breaking her own rule, "Some psychic-loving boy from the past few routes, he told me while you were away inspecting the grass. He said it'll help us get in touch with nature."

Kyouhei pinched the bridge of his nose, and looked down the route's road. Hugh was probably miles ahead of them by now, probably with more badges than either of them could ever hope to get that week.

"Mei, we've been on the road for days, if we weren't in touch with nature before, what makes you think we're going to now?"

She poked the boy's cheek, causing his face to grow a slight red hue, "Being outside every day doesn't make you automatically in touch with nature, Kyouhei."

Before the two could argue any further, Mei felt something tugging at her hair, dragging her head down somewhat, "Agh! What in the-"

The two gasped. Not because some entity had disturbed their somewhat peace and quiet, but because Mei's little unorthodox and pointless exercise actually worked.

The Oshawott continued to play with the girl's hair, having been enchanted by the soft feeling it gave him as he ran his paws through it. Kyouhei blinked rapidly, unable to comprehend what just happened, as he was pretty sure that Oshawott wasn't fidgeting with Mei's hair about a few seconds ago.

Mei on the other hand reacted in a much more positive light, "Yay, it's working! We're attracting Pokémon over to us!"

"Huh? That's what this is all about? ! We can do that anytime, anywhere!" Kyouhei argued, and we would have said more. If it wasn't for the soft weight that landed on his head. He looked up, and almost jumped at the sight of an Emolga on his head; but Mei stopped him before he could scare it off.

"This way is the more peaceful method of attraction. So calm down, you'll make him and all the others scurry off."

Kyouhei finally surrended, if not just to make her satisfied so they could move on with their jouney.

He had to admit though, it wasn't all that bad. For one he was with a cute girl, and no more than a few inches away from her. If she wasn't so stubborn, he probably would have given her a shot. After all those gyms and stuff, of course.

More Pokémon came, ranging from a Riolu that found comfort in Kyouhei's arms, (To the dismay of his Tepig.) to a sleepy Pikachu that dozed off on top of the boy's bag. He made a mental note not to disturb it's peaceful slumber.

After a few more minutes, Kyouhei had started to really like this. Perhaps he could learn to stop being so impatient, to relax and just take everything in. It gave him a fuzzy feeling that just made him warm up inside.

Furthermore, all the Pokémon that showed up to cuddle with them were actually quite rare to come by otherwise, at least in Unova. Neither of the two had actually seen a Pikachu before, just in various advertisements. To see one snoozing right next to them was a sweet treat.

Some time passed, and after it seemed like no more visitors would show up. Kyouhei and Mei both found two Pachirisus at their feet. A Pokémon supposedly exclusive to the region of Sinnoh.

A fact that was now a disclaimed rumor.

But there was something odd about one of the two Pachirisus. One was blue, the standard color for the electric squirrel, but the other sported pinkish colors that seemed to sparkle in the daylight.

Mei was the first to make the connection. Not only did they encounter two Pachirisus, a Pokémon already rare in their region, but one of those two was shiny.

The pink Pachirisu in question was currently toying around with Kyouhei's bag, making sure not to awake the sleeping Pikachu in the process. The little squirrel retrieved one of Kyouhei's many empty Pokéballs.

The boy was going to protest against the action, but Mei stopped him from doing so. If he was able to appreciate this, than he was able to appreciate the loss of one of his items.

They watched the scene unfold in front of them, the blue Pachirisu squeaked and squeaked, wanting for his pink friend to stop messing with the ball. In response, the shiny Pachirisu wagged her tiny claw, refusing to listen to his demands.

Kyouhei couldn't help but note the parallel between the squirrels and him and Mei. Was it a coincidence? Pure coincidence meant to chide him of his initial impatience? Probably not. All the thoughts flowing through his mind only resulted in the red hue returning to his cheeks, this time with a more notable presence. He had to wink at Mei in order to get her to believe that he just had something in his eye.

So when Mei suggested that they keep all their new friends, (So as long as it was okay with them.) the boy agreed immediately. And after the debate of who-got-who and the process of capturing, the two were back on the road again.

The only thought on Kyouhei's mind as they trotted along was when they would be able to attract again. He could appreciate the company of a few new friends and visitors, the more the merrier, right? And if those friends gave him the benefit of being close to a quiet, cute girl who was otherwise a bit of a pain in his side, who was he stop them?

He smiled, Hugh was going to be in for a surprise once he finds out that their team was double what his own was.
