+Tick Tock 9 The Disciplinary Committee Leader of Namimori+

"..." Well this walk back home was.-rather quiet… Ikuto with his hands in his pockets and I clutched my school bag as we walked on the sidewalk. I wanted to say something, I really did-but what would I say? Oh so you're a vampire? How has it been all these years being one? Yeah… just no.

"You know you can speak." He says. "You still have that pouty face look which means you have questions."

My eyes glare, "Shut up."

Ikuto smirks as the wind brushes his navy blue hair, "Lucia's back to normal."

"..." Air breezes past me as I gaze upon the small houses. Each were of different color that resided in a small evenly placed setting. The wind blew my hair shifting my bangs to cover the right side of my face. "Ikuto… it's just how? How could you stand being my friend if my blood was so close to you? Hibari-san has drunk it every time he's seen me… So… how are you stopping yourself?"

"It took a while, your blood is very alluring… yet I've now come to stand it. Remember those times when we were kids? Whenever I had to leave early you would cry."

"I did not."

"Quit lying." I pouted as he went on. "Anyways, that was because your blood started to become the smell of food to me. In order to not hurt you, I had to go."

"Ikuto…" All those times-was because of me "So Aruto, he-"

"Lucia, he was the one that took me in." My eyes widen at this statement. You see, Aruto is Ikuto's father… well now I am not so sure. Aruto was always a dear friend to my father. Both of them worked for the same job. A job ever so dangerous and one that brought... so much pain to our family… I didn't know of this job till after my father's death. Yet how… how could Aruto take Ikuto in? Is that even right? But then again… I took Hibari in. Could it possibly be that Aruto and I are both wrong?

"Ikuto-tell me about how Aruto took you in."

Ikuto glances at me, "Well originally I was a cat. I used to prowl the streets like any our cat. I don't remember much but then… I turned into a vampire. Aruto took me in." He then smiled, "I was disciplined a lot, however as time progressed I learned how to deal with those around me. Now I'm a free vampire who likes to tease his friend with her boob issues."

"Ikuto shut up!" I swung my bag at him but he easily dodged it. He laughs as it looked like a puff of steam came from my head. He chuckles for a little bit until his eyes turned serious.

His bangs slowly drop with the wind, "Hey, it seems Hibari's got you more determined."

I look at Ikuto. What exactly does he mean? "Ikuto… who is Hibari?" It was a question… that was so uneasy to answer. I only know so little so… what is an opinion of another vampire? Ikuto opens his mouth but stops. That's when I recognized the black gate and maroon colored house, we reached my house.

"Hibari…" Ikuto began, "is very dangerous. He may not seem like it to you but know this… His majesty is not all he seems. The king holds discipline to the nearest end." For that second I wanted to tell him… tell him how he choked me. The pain yet… that would just make me sound like a tattle taler.

I remained composed and quiet as I nodded and walked towards my house. "See you latter…" I mumble, the world felt different.

"Lucia." My hand held the doorknob as I looked back at Ikuto. "Don't get caught into the war." Ikuto, my friend… for all these years… I watched his silhouette disappear into the night.

+Don't get caught in the war+

"Sigh…" I drag my feet across the carpet. My socks were possibly gaining static energy… heh at least I learned one thing from science.

Small footsteps echoed across the room as I looked towards the right side of the house. Amu opened her bedroom door, "Onee-chan!"

"Hi Am-Amu!" I dash over and delivered the biggest bear hug I could give to my small sister, "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!"

"W-Welcome Onee-chan. What did I do?"

I giggled, "It seems like there's going to be a dance at my school soon."

"Really?" She asks in a her little exciting voice.

"Yes." I reply ruffling her hair.

"Where's Mom?"

"She's doing the laundry."

I nodded and walked to the couch. "Onee-chan."

"Yes?"

"Did Hibari-Senpai follow you today?"

I turn on my heel and walked to the kitchen, "Yes, he did." I gather a can of black olives when a thought crosses my mind, "Amu."

"Yes Onee-chan?"

"You're good friends with Ikuto right?"

"Yes, I am!"

I nod, "Right."

"Onee-chan is anything wrong?"

I pick out a single olive, "No." If it weren't for Hibari this would have been the first time I'd lied to my sister.

+A little white lie+

The night was hard to sleep through, with all my thoughts roaming around my head. From the Twister Game where Ikuto and I first met, today when I learned he was a vampire. I was quite sleepy when I woke up, mom had asked me if I needed anything. Now I was walking to Nanamori, with money in hand for the small debt I had to pay. Due to my lack of sleep my arrival was just the same as the other students. It wasn't a big deal because of the fact I've been a tiny bit late before. I walk to the schoolyard when something catches my eye, no one is here… The wind blew but there weren't any sounds of chattering. This is quite peculiar… My hand clenches into a fist as I walk inside the school building. As I finally open the door my view switches to see other students yet… they're all silent. Each student was at their locker gathering their necessary supplies for the day. No greetings, no laughter, just pure… silence.

I could hear the murmurs of the teachers outside the classroom. However inside everyone sulked in a funny manor. I pass a note to Kyoka saying, "What happened?"

I waited for about two minutes when I received a small note back, "Our school just got a Disciplinary Committee."

What?! A -a Disciplinary Committee? "Since When?"

"I don't know… Hana and I were talking, when an older man came to the schoolyard yelling threats. It's making me really worried Lucia-chan." I stare at her last note while gritting my teeth. Just who is this man? And why all of a sudden did Namimori need a discipline committee?

+We built a government to decline the properties of our salvation in humanity. +

The minute third period ended was the minute I dashed like a madman. I ran past every student that awkwardly stood there in silence for every student dashing their way to class. "Yo Girly!" My feet skid to a halt as I look behind my left shoulder. Two boys-No wait their men? Ok, two men stood there, each wearing a black uniform with white beneath the long sleeves and red aligned with their collars. However, the most bizarre part were their hairdo. Their hair was in a style you would discover from most American movies in the 1980's. A hairdo with the name of "regent."

"Yes?" I answer turning fully to face them.

One of them pointed at me, "No running in the hall."

"Oh, sorry sir." I then turn on my heel but this time speed walk.

Wait. those men-could they be from the disciplinary committee?

+The hallways in school are another form of the road.+

I enter a glass wall room greeted by the smells of freshly printed paper as ringers buzz in my ear. Closing the door, I walk up to one of the main secretaries behind her desk. She just got off the phone releasing a annoyed sigh, meaning another complainer of the taxes was on the phone. Can't really blame the caller though. "Yes dear?" The secretary asks.

"Well, I-"

"What's wrong Kioi?" My dark-chocolate eyes look to my right to see a middle aged man in a grey suit. It was none other than the Boss of our school, the Boss of me (though I refuse to acknowledge it), the Principal of Namimori.

Ignoring the Secretary, I walked over to the glasses-wearing man, "Sir, when did we get a disciplinary committee? The school funds can't possibly afford that."

The principal gave a sigh while wiping his rather large head, "It seems this will take a while."

"Sir, what happened?"

"Well, last night before I left the school a man I had never seen before encountered me. He demanded that the school have a disciplinary committee. When I explained to him about how the school could not afford such thing he insisted he be in charge of the committee."

"Didn't you stop him?"

"I tried to but he threaten the whole building if we didn't apply."

"Why don't you call the police?"

"Look-It wasn't easy as it seems. Actually Kiori, why don't you talk to the man?"

"But-"

"It is your duty as president of student council. I do have a feeling both the student council will be near each other a lot."

My sweaty hands couldn't help but clench themselves, "Yes sir." What exactly is this mystery man after?

+The ones who follow are actually the ones with the most independence-in their mind.+

The principal had told me the disciplinary leader decided to take the empty room that had once been a teacher's lounge. As soon as I reached the door, my feet stopped directly in front of the door. A gulp could be heard from the outside as my right hand was brought up in a fist. Well here goes goes noth-

"You there." I hear a voice towards my left. I look to see a man with a look similar to the two men before. However, this specific man contained a scar on his left eye while a wheat stick, stood out from his mouth. The scar man walked up to me, "Who are you?

Where did this guy come from? He looks like he originally came from a gang, "I-I'm Kiori Lucia, president of the student council. I-I'm here to see the leader of the disciplinary committee…"

The man gazed at me then smiled. Why is he smiling? "So you're the girl the Boss has been talking about. He said you might show up" What? The Boss had been talking about me? Do I know this person? "My name is Kusakabe Tetsuya, but you can just call me Tetsuya. You can enter." A very very uneasy feeling reaches my stomach as he opens the door. W-Who is the leader of the disciplinary committee?!

+ I like waffles.+

The door opened revealing a tiny room compared to the other rooms in the school. In the center lay a brown leather couch with a small wooden coffee table infront of the couch. A green mat was spread underneath while four walls made up the walls. On each left and right side were bookcases filled with a variety of different sized and colored books. The wall straight from me had many windows to look out towards the courtyard, but none of that mattered compared to the desk in front. Behind a wooden desk with stacks of layered papers was a leather chair that matched the color of the couch. The chair's back was faced towards me, but the size of the chair itself was so big that the figure whom sat on it was hidden.

I took three steps in, "Um-Hello…"

The leather chair spun around causing me to gulp once again, "Isn't a Good Morning more suitable?"

My eyes were so large you could consider them to be like those animal pop-out pens, "Hibari!?"

Grim metallic eyes look towards mine forcing me to look somewhere else, "Usagi."

I couldn't help but grit my teeth, "I can't believe this! You're the disciplinary committee leader?!"

"Yes, I am."

"B-But why?!"

"I told you yesterday, your school's filled with barbaric children who need discipline." He sighed leaning back in the leather chair.

"So you made a committee to discipline them? But don't you-" My lips quickly shut together. It's best if I don't bring up his official title, but why the hell would the King of Vampires want to be a Disciplinary Leader in a junior-high school?

Hibari rolled his metallic eyes choosing to ignore what I was going to say, "Besides it will benefit you."

"What?" I stare at him even more questionably "How?"

"Activities the Student Council come up with must be approved by the Discipline Committee."

"What?" My expression must be bewildered now "B-But you can't do that!"

"And why's that Herbivore?" He asks.

"Because the whole purpose of the Student Council is to have somewhat of a democracy towards the adults! I mean I'm the President so-"

"Were you not having trouble on deciding something so simple just yesterday?"

I stare at him shocked by what he claimed. He was right-I can give him that. Something small and simple and I still to this day can't get anyone to decide. In reality I'm the President-but am I really? He played his cards over mine. "…." But that doesn't mean my turn's over. Breath slowly swirling, chocolate-brown eyes in the shape of a pouncing panther, I look at him, "That still doesn't change a thing, you practically-no-you did! You threaten an old man, you should be arrested!"

"…" His voice remained silent, bangs shadowing his eyes preventing me to determine a emotion-if any emotion. What is he-

"Tetsuya, leave us." He commands.

"Yes, Kyou-San." I watch as my one source of protection walks outside, shutting the door, leaving me with him. Wait come back…

Hibari stands up from his leather chair. My eyes examine each step he makes. Ironically, the outfit he's wearing resembles (or could be) the outfit he wore the first time I met him. Something's different though: his right slevee on his leather black jacket has a red armband pinned on with yellow words. Words so simple and bull even the most average person would know what they mean:

Namimori Discipline.

He took one step forward, and just like that first night a load of fear entered me. He stepped once more making my own foot take a step back.

A sadist's smirk appeared on his lips, "Are you scared?"

I remain quiet as he prowls closer and closer causing each nerve to shake in my soul. Why am I this scared? The fact that he's in my school and now will never leave? Or the fact he's taking the one thing I can claim as my 'duty'?

"From now on, the Disciplinary Committee shall take complete patrol of the halls, set school rules, declare changes when necessary, and lead fundraiser events."

What?! They can't-he can't, "Y-You c-can't…"

"My reasoning stands firm." I swear I can hear a small laugh, "Hn, though you caught my interest from your comeback."

My feet twirl around, facing my body to the door. My arm extends towards the door, when my arm's grasped in a harsh manor pulling me from behind. "Ah!" I yelp in pain as I'm pulled back right to him.

"It seems we're going to have to work together aren't we? A sudden pain causes me to flinch as a piece of my hair is tugged. "However, I refuse to work with herbivories who choose to be weak." He grips my chin to reveal my complete neck, he has not fisted on for some time.

I gasp, "Hibari-San No! Not here!"

He paused, "You'll never get anywhere unless you fight."

Just like always I gasp in pain as my red blood leaves from me to him. My vision is becoming cloudier and cloudier, but before I fall faint a sentence echoes through my ear:

"Why is it that I even care for a human like you?"

What?

+Who can we claim as the real hero, when the one we all hate at first is the one who saves?+

To him, she was a ditzy herbivore with the weakest soul he had ever bare witness to. If he received a nickel for every time he wished to suck her dry to shut the noisy girl up, he could potentially buy all the steak-burgers the world had to offer. However, every time he felt the urge, the girl would do an action provoking his interest. Whether it be allowing him to drink her blood, taking him to her household, delivering a small kiss to his cheek, or more. Today, she finally decided to talk-back.

Yes, to him she was nearly pathetic, but like the infant had said prior-there was something about her that was quite different, even more than her blood.

Hibari juggled these thoughts as he stared down at the human he held so dear. Why couldn't he simply drop her like he had so many times with countless bodies? Why was he even here, watching the most useless herbivore he bare witness to? Why did he even let her live?

Hibari's crimson eyes vanished to the metallic blue the young girl dreamed to see more of. He held her cursing the fact that all he wanted to do was make her stronger. With a sigh he carried her to the green couch of the room, laying her in a flat position. His metallic eyes gazed down at the girl once again when a rash thought entered his mind.

If the Vampire Society knew, there would in no mind be furry. Hibari stood before her before bending down to match her height. The result would lead to destruction and a mission once held torn down by the betrayals of truth. He leaned down feeling the small faint air come from her nose. Society would surely….break. Hibari laid his forehead against her own, quietly opening his mouth as the room remained still. If society found out he did this…

"Kyou-San." A knock echoed from the door.

With hesitation, he stood back up staring at the Herbivore one last time. He bit the inside of his cheek, infuriated on what he was about to do. "Come in." Hibari called, allowing Kusakabe to walk in.

"Sorry for the intrusion, but-Kyou-San? What's wrong?" Kusakabe clearly saw that Kiori Lucia had been bit once again. However, what was truly wrong was the look his commander was giving.

"Kusakabe, tell Kiori's teachers that she will be busy with student council today."

"Yes Sir." Without hesitation Kusakabe left leaving Hibari Kyoya to bury the question he wished to say…

Have you ever been attached to something before?

+The one who can't come to terms with both mind and reality is the one stuck in the dark+

"What?! What do you mean their taking over?!"One of them yells giving the same look I had gave only a few hours ago. I wish with all my heart that I could just leave right now.

"So we can make decisions but they must be approved by the Disciplinary Committee? What kind of purpose does that serve us?" Another asked crossing his arms.

Hibari and I-are currently in the Student Council room-where I just told the council-about the change.

I've remained quiet while Hibari is listening to member's complaints and questions. Lorlia cried, "Is this even fair and right?"

Hibari spoke, "Your teachers and administration agreed with the overall decision."

Everyone stared at each other, some with panic in their eyes, while others had sweat on the top of their forehead. Then one of them stared at me. He stared at me for what seemed a minute then pointed his finger directly my way, "You…Why didn't you tell us earlier?!"

Now all the others looked my way making me sink further towards the shadows. Their voices raised, releasing all their anger my way:

"We could of fixed this if you told us sooner!"

"Aren't you going to do anything about this President?!"

"How could you!"

I wanted to cry.

My mouth opened with words ready to defend myself-but what's the purpose? In reality it's clearly my fault-all I can do is make an excuse at this point, "I-It's not what you think! Really its-"

"She was not told till just recently." Hibari spoke right before me, glancing at me with a look that clearly meant to tell me how pathetic I am. "Besides, she would have no choice in the matter. None of you do. You'll either corporate with the deal and the Disciplinary Committee, or I'll bite you to death."

Two boys chuckled at the statement while the others lowered their glares on me. I guess you could say my ass is saved-but not from my own doing.

Hibari looked over to the two boys, "What's so funny?" That's when everyone had to meet Hibari's… most petrifying glare in the world. I gazed at the students. The boys stood there nervously, the eyes of the girls widened. And the two who chuckled before stood stiff shaking just a tad. I could tell they wouldn't admit that they were scared. Hibari just stood there his eyes seemed to say, 'Herbivore.' He was a true-carnivore. A carnivore who ruled over the food chain. A carnivore who'd prey on the herbivores… at any time… Hibari was the carnivore while the Student Council were the herbivores. "You will follow the Disciplinary Committee's rules or else, I'll bite you to death."

+What if a Herbivore was a Carnivore?+

Days went by… moments went on. I would go home with Mother wondering what was wrong. I finally told her that Hibari formed a Disciplinary Committee at school. Which was three days after an argument we had. Her only response was, "Good, then maybe he could teach you some discipline." The school's transformation had already showed results. People speed walked to their classes, because while being late is bad running within the halls is worse. No one came to class late… well except for Tsuna… poor kid… The halls were also less rambunctious, so far a lot has changed. Just like my teacher… One night sat at home staring at one sentence, "What do you live for?" The only words I wrote were, "I live for my sister." Then I stopped my pencil. There… has to be more than that right? Is that my reason for living? Only to protect my little sister? I… can't help but feel… that there's more to it than that… However, the day after is what shocked me the most. My English teacher had to leave school. Apparently he left due to his illness being too severe. Nervously I thought that Hibari had something to do with it, but I sighed in relief when I found out it was cancer. I felt bad for feeling in such a way. It seemed like I was glad he left, which I wasn't. Teacher was a very well good teacher, I'll miss him. The assignment "What do you live for?" would be canceled to my disappointment. However… the assignment still lays there… with the book of vampires.

"Hibari-san…" I quietly mumble walking into the reception room. I've been into this room I don't know how many times. The reception room was now Hibari's office. Because I'm still the Student Council President I have to talk things out with the Disciplinary Committee leader before any actions can be taken.

"What Herbivore?" Hibari was standing in front of the window that was next to his desk. It was as if he was in deep thought… I noticed him fiddling with something in his hands… a paper? He rolled it up like it was something top secret… or maybe it was… But about what though? Nanamori School or the Society of Vampires? "I have a paper regardless, of the money for redoing the school gates." I walked up and handed him the paper that… I would usually take care of. This isn't fair… it really isn't.

"And?" He asked.

"And what?"

His metallic eyes rolled, "This week's funds." He sat the paper on his desk and waited for my answer.

"They're not here yet…" Hibari's eyes glared at this notice. Damn him… can't he see-

"Go back and get the money from them then."

What the hell… does he think we can honestly keep up like this? "Hibari-san, this isn't fair. We can't keep imposing taxes on everyone. People don't have enough money nowadays."

He turned around and started to walk towards the wooden door, "If you won't gather the funds, then I will." He opened the door and left. The last audible thing I heard from him was, "Stupid Herbivore." ...Why was he more mad than normal today?

My hand tangles through my dark brown locks of hair. I move a thick amount of my bangs to my right side, exposing my left eye and my forehead. A sigh escapes my hollow lips. My back eases into the leather green chair that marked Hibari's territory. I wonder how long can I live like this… Shut up Lucia, you have to live… for Amu… You can't attempt to kill yourself anymore. The door opens accompanied by the sounds of footsteps. I release my hand from my hair, letting my bangs fall back into place. "So did you get enough or what?"

"Nope, Loser-Tsuna still can't become the next Vongola Mafia Boss." My head turns dramatically towards my group of friends. Gokudera, Yamamoto, Tsuna, and Reborn.

"What are you doing here?"

"Every Mafia needs a secret hideout, where they spend most of their time right?"

"Well… y-yes but-"

"Then we'll use this room." What the hell Reborn… even you know that they can't use this room. If you're making this room some kind of training program you better stop it now because…

"Isn't this nice Tenth! Now we have a room where we can work on things." Gokudera smiled at Tsuna while lighting a cigarette. Gokudera's method of violence is dynamite so it isn't a surprise he smoked.

"I've never been in the Reception room before…" Tsuna said.

"You can't be here."

"And why the hell is that woman?"

"What's wrong Lulu?" Yamamoto asked. He probably noticed me tensing up.

"Because he-" "What are you herbivores doing here?" Shit… the dem- vampire has arrived.

Gokudera's green eyes scowled when seeing who was at the doorway, "What the fuck are you doing here?!" Hibari stood there leaning against the doorway with...no...a tonfa hanging out.

The doorway with...no...a tonfa hanging out.

"Get rid of your cigarette herbivore." Hibari's voice was calm which was indeed scary

"Make me."

"Fine."

Hibari ran up and swung his tonfa in front of Gokudera's face. I was expecting to see a Gokudera's bleeding face but instead all there was, was a half cut cigarette with a shocked Gokudera. To say i was shocked was semi true. I was very shocked, not only were Hibari's tonfa strong but... As sharp as a blade. I really wonder how it did that... The Bomber boy stood there in shock too, till he glanced at me, "How are you friends with this guy? Why is he even here?" Why... Does Hibari... Know my friends? I'm rather sure i have not hung out with them near him...

"Are you sure you want to talk that way in front of the disciplinary community president?" Hibari smirked at the gang.

"Disciplinary committee president?"

Yamamoto walked up and grabbed Gokudera's arm, "Yes... Hibari's... He's the new disciplinary committee leader... He'll beat up anyone with his tonfa. That's... What I've heard."

"But we never had a committee like this before! Whose dumbass idea was that?!"

"Enough Herbivores." Hibari glared at them. "I hate it when weaklings try to form a group." He held out both tonfad.

"Wait!" Tsuna ran in between the showdown. "I think we can solve this another w-"

Suddenly Hibari slammed his tonfa downward into Tsuna's face. Sawada Tsuna fell K.O..

"One." Hibari replied.

"Hibari-san!" I yell standing up. "Don't!"

"You bastard!-"

"Gokudera don't!" Gokudera yelling in anger ripping his arm away from Yamamoto and drew ou a fist. Hibari dodged it and aimed right for Gokudera's stomach. The Bomber was KO as he slammed into the nearby couch.

"Two."

"Quit it!" I ran over as fast as i could And grasped one of his arms with both my hands. He glared at me then shoved he back. This action forced him to let go and trip on Gokudera and plow to the floor.

"Lucia!" My ears picked up Yamamoto's voice. Dammit! Yamamoto can't fight either.

Hibari swung in, but to my surprise Yamamoto dodged it! Hibari swung in once again but Yamammoto dodged. "You seem to be protecting your right hand" He was right for Yamamoto must protect that hand. It's how he's a star baseball player. "Did you hurt it?"

Suddenly Hibari kicked right at Yamamoto's right hand, Yamamoto didn't ever see it coming!

"Three." Yamamoto was KO.

I felt a sting on my hand. Blood was forming from a small cut on my hand. Suddenly there was movement in the corner of my eye. It was Tsuna... He just got another life. My arm felt a rough tug as my body was lifted from the ground. Hibari... He hoisted me into his arms with... He's eyes...Dammit! A flick of light caught the attention of my eyes... It was one of Hibari's tonfas… That's when I realized how he cut Gokudera's cigarette and my hands… they had spikes on them… "Seems I'll a feast today."

With that being said his hand brought down my head, fully exposing my neck to start off the meal. "Gokudera-kun! Yamamoto!"

Hibari's gleaming red eye focused on to Tsuna who was sitting up now. I didn't know how but… Tsuna wasn't as badly hurt as I thought. Only a little bit of blood dripped from his forehead. "They're asleep, I made sure of that." Tsuna looked, only to be horrified. Sawada Tsuna had just met a vampire.

Red eyes, teeth exposed, there wasn't any way not to deny that Hibari was infact a vampire. Hibari's crimson eyes kept their same emotionless look as they pierced through the young mafia boss. "Who knows maybe their blood will save your existence. I'll bite them to death." Hibari let me go as if I wasn't worth his time, which I probably wasn't.

"No!" Tsuna yelled, standing up. He ran in front of Gokudera who Hibari was in close distance to. Tsuna held out his arms, "You can't drink their blood!" Hibari pulled out his tonfas. "I-I won't let you!"

Tsuna… was protecting his friends… something… I should be doing! "Hibari-san!" I ran with all my might. This is all my fault! "STOP IT!" All my anger resided in my fist and… all of it released as my fist collided with Hibari's head. I punched Hibari-san… The impact caused his head to turn quickly. You'd most likely consider that I was happy for taking charge for once. However when Hibari turned his head my eyes met with the view of a large bruise on his cheek… the same cheek I kissed. I'm so dead…

"Herbivore…" Hibari growled lifting his tonfa. I clenched, my eyes quickly closing awaiting my fate. In the second I closed my eyes I could hear various sounds:

"Lucia-chan!"

"If you want to save your friends, then do so with your dying will!" BAM

"REBORN!" My eyes open to see Tsuna… in Hyper Dying Will Mode. Hyper Dying Will Mode… it's what brings out your flame. In this mode a human has only one and only one choice, do what is their dying will or die. In the human world everyone has a flame, what you would call a 'soul' in short. This flame is what drives you and somethings you are able to bring it out. However other times it's forced out just like Tsuna's flame. Sawada Tsunayoshi was there with no articles of clothing except for his boxers while an orange flame roared on his head. Realistic? No… but it's something that only the mafia knew. I knew… only because I met Reborn, The Greatest Hitman in the World. "I will rescue my friends with my drying will!" Tsuna shouted.

Hibari seemed amused, "What is this, an act?" Hibari brought down his tonfa but Tsuna dodged it. His dying will makes him stronger in physical forms. Tsuna tried to punch Hibari after the dodge but Hibari swiftly dodged him. The vampire grasped Tsuna's arm, he pulled him towards himself delivering a mighty tonfa blow to Tsuna's stomach. Tsuna fell backwards. Hibari walked to Tsuna, who was struggling to get up.

"Tsuna! Run!" I screamed trying to get through his dying will. I'm such an idiot! Like that would work!

"You're right it won't work." I looked behind me to see… Reborn. He was just… standing there with that same smile on his face… how… how can he just smile like that?! Wait… something was pointed at my back. I cocked my head to see… a dagger in the grasp of Reborn's hand aimed right for my spine. "Hibari."

Crimson eyes looked back, a smirk formed. "What are you trying to do infant?" Does he even care that there is a weapon aimed at me?! Is he that heartless?!

"Like I said before, I can't let you kill my student. He is to be the Vongola Tenth."

If Hibari's character wasn't so cold I would've expected him to laugh, "This child? This child is to be a Mafia Boss?" But he just brought down his foot on the unconscious Tsuna's back. "How sad."

"It is so. Which is why…" Reborn's smirk widened. "The Vongola and Vampire King will ally"

"What?" Both Hibari and I said. Reborn… wants to work with the vampires…? Does he know about Hibari as well…? "Do you even know what you're implying infant?" Hibari's voice… it changed.

"Of course I do. I already talked to the 9th about it. It benefits us both."

"And how is that?"

"The Vampire Kingdom will have extra protection while the Vongola can benefit with a strong person. Which is you. Also it benefits Tsuna's training."

"What makes you think that I will help you? I have a whole kingdom in my hands."

"Let's not lie your majesty. You need all the help you can get or he will crush you."

Hibari's glare turned so… dark. Dark from shadow that hid the intention to kill so sweetly. Eyes crimson red were making my legs actually… wobble. Hibari… was pissed as hell. "What are trying to pull damn infant…"

"Simple." The dagger was raised up towards my skill but not only that… Reborn actually held a grenade as well. For the first time in my life… I feared Reborn. "Ally with us and let us work together as if nothing ever happened. Or…" Reborn gently nudged the grenade pin, "Let the peace in your life die."

"What if I kill him?" Hibari dug his foot harder on Tsuna's back.

"Then you'll have the whole Vongola to deal with as well. Which I don't think would look good for your kingdom."

Hibari's carnivorous could be seen grinding against one another. A king to be put in such a situation to feel humiliated. Hibari didn't make any mistake. However Reborn just played his final card, his trump card. A diminished voice growled, which sent shivers down my spine. "Fine…"

Reborn grinned, "Now please let go of my student." Hibari glared at the unconscious Tsuna and lifted his foot from Tsuna's back. "It was nice making business with you, your majesty." Reborn put away his dagger and chucked the grenade somewhere. Even though the weapon wasn't threatening me anymore I still felt tense.

+For only the matters of those we contain, flourish in the light of who we are.+

"Tsuna." Brown almond eyes blinked at me once. "Tsuna please wake up."

The almond eyes nudged open with every slow second. "Lucia-chan…?"

"Thank goodness."

Sawada Tsuna was laying on a leather green couch in the reception room. His head and stomach were wrapped in a series of bandages. "Lucia-chan… what happened?"

"You got hurt but it's okay. You aren't in any critical condition." It turns out that Reborn's deadly training did worse on Tsuna than Hibari's attacks.

Tsuna slowly sat up, "Where am-"

"Tsu-"

"Lay down Herbivore." Tsuna quickly turned his head towards Hibari's voice. Hibari's temper slowly calmed back down after Reborn went to get a doctor. Right now Hibari sat at his desk keeping his eyes on my back. And I refuse to look back…

"Hieee! Y-Your a v-vamp-"

"A vampire." I finished Tsuna's sentence. "Yes… we know…" Tsuna's round eyes gazed at me. I tilted my head downward.

I don't want to be here. No, I wish I wasn't here. Everything inside me is shallow. My heart beats but inside a empty shell. The company the heart had was the silence that left the empty room. A room filled with the aftermath of misery and gloom. Pain and gloom… is all I am able to feel at this moment. Why Hibari… why does your stubbornness and strict attitude become your go to plan? I… hate how you just… "That idiot Shamal!" The door of the room opened. Gokudera, Yamamoto, and Reborn had walked in. "Woman! Can you try to get smaller breast! That ass perv-Juudaime!" Gokudera quickly ran over to Tsuna. Yamamoto and Gokudera also were in bandages. Shamal came in order to fix them up, but Reborn had to lie saying that I needed bandaging.

Looks like Gokudera was back to his normal self but… "Yamamoto." I walked over to my smiling friend. Even after all that he still smiles away. "Are you okay?"

"Yep. I'm still in pretty good shape."

I… wonder… "Can you still play baseball…?"

Yamamoto looked at me with his dark brown eyes and smiled, "Of course! He may of hit me here or there but he didn't hit my righty." He held up his right hand. The hand Yamamoto's very life depended on. "I just had the doc bandage it incase anything weird happens." His smile… it caused my lips to curve a little. That's why Yamamoto is my good friend… it's because of that smile.

"Juudaime! I will murder the bastard who did this to you!" Gokudera yelled.

"Oh no you won't" We all faced toward the desk. In front of Hibari was Reborn who stood on top of his desk.

"YOU!" Gokudera growled.

"Hold still Gokudera."

"Reborn-san we can't trust him!"

"Well then, we better start trusting him."

"What?"

"From now on we are allies with Hibari Kyoya."

"But Reborn!"

Tsuna interrupted Gokudera. "He's a v-"

"Yes, we are going to be allied with the vampire king himself."

Gokudera gave a small chuckle, "What is this? Some kind of joke?"

"No Herbivore." Hibari opened his mouth to reveal his large carnivorous teeth. Gokudera and Tsuna gasped while Yamamoto remained silent.

"All those legends," Reborn gazed at them, "Every legend in the world. Those legends all have a true existence within the world. What you thought was nothing but a mere fairy tale is actually true this whole time. I would of been like the other… shocked… maybe even scared if it wasn't for that one night… "However you must keep this a secret. If one single word goes out, chaotic things will occur." They all stood there… they all were processing the same amount of information that took me days to understand. It was all real…

"Wait." Tsuna spoke. I looked to see his eyes lock with mine. "How long did you know?"

My eyes widen just a tad, "I…" Buzz buzz My phone… I reached into my school bag that laid on the coffee table and pulled it out. My phone read, 'Please come home for dinner - Mom.' "Sorry… I've got to go." I grabbed my bag, feeling all their eyes staring at me. Time… thought… sorrow… I left the room glancing back. The final thing I saw was a pair of metallic eyes clawing at my vision.

+For it is only your fragments I can see-possibly.+

"It was so great Mama! Tadase-kun was so nice! He played tea party with me as well as Rima and Nagi! Nadeshiko say Rima and Nagi like each other." Amu shared her eventful day with Mom. Today she and her friends enjoyed each others company and happily played in the sand. Each friend brought their story to combine with the others, Amu's friends are great friends… Amu's a great friend. Then why is it that I'm the exact opposite? I stared at my plate of cheap steak, peas, and potatoes. My fork pricks the small cube piece of steak.

Why… why did Hibari beat up my friends and not take note of his own actions. The steak pushed against the small peas causing the group of peas to flatten out. Stained with barbeque sauce that dripped from the steak. What caused you to hurt them like that, no… what caused you to take over you school? My mouth devours the steak. And why… The silver fork slowly carried a round of peas towards my mouth. However the fork had dumped the peas into the valley of mashed potatoes. Why was I so wrapped up in my thoughts to even allow myself to be in danger like that. The way Reborn used me as bait… I feel so disgusted. The valley of mashed potatoes soon overlapped the avalanche of peas. On the inside I wanted to scream and yell, and to hit Hibari one more time. But why didn't I? Did I fear him? "Onee-chan!" Amu called.

"Hm? Yes?" Finally the mashed potatoes entered my mouth, everything in this world will be revealed eventually.

+I must move, for the life and enterity I've lived through-I MUST RUN.+
