As the women of the station arrived back from their lunch, they had gone back to their respective departments and continued on their work.

In the technology department, Tecna and Timmy were busy at trying to quantify the data that they had collected on Flora from the day in the warehouse, keeping in mind that Stella had also experienced the strange phenomena.

"Timmy, I think that I am losing my mind." Tecna groaned as she set down the sheets of numbers and graphs on her cluttered desk.

"How so?" Timmy asked as he pushed up his glasses and looked at the violet haired female sitting across from him.

"I am a woman who believes in data and hard scientific evidence. I think that everything has an explanation and if there is not one yet, that is because it has not been discovered. Everything happens for a reason and the thought of magic is completely illogical, however, the data points right to it. Is it possible for something so illogical to have a logical foundation and proof?" Tecna sighed.

"I think that every scientist felt like this in some point of their life. Everything is inexplicable until there is an explanation." Timmy responded.

"But there isn't an explanation for this." Tecna replied. Soon there was the sound of static and a beep, indicating that somebody had paged the technology department.

"Tecna speaking." Tecna said as she answered the intercom.

"Uh, yeah. This is Jonathan Green on the fifth floor, I think that my computer crashed or something." the man replied over the speaker. Timmy and Tecna rolled their eyes in unison before Tecna responded.

"Have you tried turning your computer on and off again?" Tecna asked unamused.

"Haha, very funny. I have and it is still giving me nothing." Jonathan stated.

"Okay, I will be up to look at it." Tecna said before signing off the call.

"You would think that we were an IT department with nothing better to do than to help fix broken computers than an actual department that actually has work to do down here." Timmy chuckled.

"Well I had better head up there." Tecna said as she indicated to the door and standing up from her desk. Tecna was about to leave the room before she stopped and turned around where she stood. "Wait, Timmy. I have something to ask you."

"What is it, Tecna? Is something wrong?" Timmy asked with concern in his voice.

"It's nothing important. Stella was having a housewarming party this weekend and I was invited and the other girls are bringing a date and I was wondering if you would like to go with me. It doesn't have to be a date or anything, just as, you know, friends." Tecna stammered.

Timmy sat at his desk in shock and finally responded, "I would love to go with you. I will pick you up at five?"

"Great, yeah, great, cool." Tecna blushed as she clumsily exited the room and smiled on her way up to the fifth floor.

Once reaching the fifth floor of the station, she walked inside the narcotics department where Jonathan Green worked. She reached his desk and saw that there was a black computer screen with coding script across the screen. Tecna sighed as she knew that the problem for this would be simple.

"Here, it says that you have to press 'Enter' to continue." Tecna stated.

"I know that I may not have gone to MIT but I do know how to read." Jonathan snapped.

"You know, this isn't what I am here to do. I honestly have work that is helping a case and instead I am here helping you because that is all us 'tech nerds' are supposed to do. I know that you can read but I did not go to MIT to be waiting on everyone here hand and foot when a stupid email won't send!" Tecna shouted and as she did the computer started to overheat and a purple light radiated around Tecna until finally the light became too powerful that the computer exploded.

"What was that?!" Jonathan shouted as the rest of the narcotics department looked at the scene that had taken place. Some people had gathered around the scene and one of those people was Musa who was running to get folders from the head of the department to take down to file.

Upon seeing Tecna passed out in the office chair, Musa sighed, "Looks like we have got another."

Sorry for this chapter being really really short but I wanted to give you all something new. Next chapter, someone comes that will test the other girls and guys and will give an explanation not only to the case but to the events happening at the station.
