Chapter Nineteen: I promise

I don't know how long it is that I cried into Griffins golden body, but I get up, I grab the dagger that had killed Griffin and cut the rest of my hair to below my ear, I ignore my throbbing injuries, they can kill me, but not right now…

"Ping, take me back, I take me back to my crew."

"Yes Flora." Ping had stayed by my side; he had cried by himself and stayed by my side. I grab his hand and we go to our crew.

The marines hadn't collected their bodies, in fact it looks like they just left them there, rotting, I walk over to Felix and Grace, and grab their hands while Ping takes us back to Griffin, we go back and I collect Edd and Ted, the next to I go back, a cleaning crew had finally arrived for the dead bodies that are everywhere.

Guns are aimed my way, but I could feel the bullets before they even fired their guns, I could see them, and I duck each and every one of those bullets…so this is how they managed to beat us, this thing that I'm doing now.

I keep on dodging, getting closer to the body of my swordsman, until I'm standing right in front of Terry, I bend down and pick him up in a princess hold, he would have had my head if I tired doing that to him when he was alive.

"I just came for my crew…when they are buried, then I'll be back, and I will be back, because you stole my loved ones from me, and I'll never get them back." I say, letting Ping teleport me out of there.

I asked Ping to bury them, even Griffin, while I worked inside of my work shop, I choice out the spots for them, spots with a beautiful view. He stole coffins for our crew, hardwood and metal coffins, with nice soft padding on the inside; I didn't ask where he got them from, only that they are worth it.

I build and mould and add in colours and dyes, I make and make and make, not caring about the passing of time, not caring about my stomach asking me for food, not caring about anything that my body demanded only sleep when my eyes started to blur.

I build six people, six large people of glass, each detailed and coloured.

I let Ping more the solid glass to the rightful places, on top of their graves, marking them.

Terry's glass figure is of him sitting, with his sword and cleaning it, he was always cleaning his sword with this soft expression on his face.

Griffin and Grace are arguing, they always argued about something but they had this look, like it's the best time of their lives.

Edd and Ted were holding interments and playing them, I could almost hear the music as I look at my glass crew.

Then there is Felix, at the end, I had him looking and smiling at the crew, because that's what he always did, he was always watching them, laughing at them.

Ping and I stood in front of our crew, for the rest of the day, watching as the sky got darker, but it made it look like our crew is about ready to move.

I bow down to them, to each one of them.

"I promise, I'll make them pay for taking your lives, and I'm sorry I couldn't do anything to save you.

A year later I spotted my new bounty poster, it has been a while since I've seen my bounty, it's gotten high, really high, and my name has changed, it's like Glass Madam had died with her crew.

The new poster is of half my face, the rest of it is covered by a black hood, not big grins, or smirks on my face, just blood splatter as I glare at the man with the camera.

Next to mine is Pings, his flying in the air with a massive hammer, ready to bring it down onto the marines…

Ping is the Devil and I'm, I'm Marine Hunter, because every single marine deserves to die, and soon…I'll be going for the Nobles, because they deserve death even more, and I'll kill them. Ping and I will kill them with our glass weapons, and we'll go home to talk to our crew, tell them what we had done.

We are no longer pirates, we are Hunters.

The end
