I live~! (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧

And I can't believe I didn't update for five months... DX I'm sorry!

Y'know, after five years I've never even considered getting a beta. O.o I probably still wouldn't, because I can't seem to keep a private conversation going. DX

...Though I kinda wish I had one, I have a whole bunch of types every chapter. XD Kinda, not really. As I said, can't keep a conversation going. Sadly.

I'm basically gonna ramble on at the bottom A/N. XD

Disclaimer – I do not own Bleach.

Warning – Swearing.

"Hey-Hey, man!" Ryoichi walked forward with his arms apart and a toothy grin on his face.

The bartender looked up and, seeing who it was, rolled his eyes and smirked before he waved at the sixth seat. Miyu stayed by the door with Jayori, who shifted uncomfortably and glanced around. She didn't really feel like telling the... extrovert that she didn't really drink. She was little bit more... outgoing, to say the least, when intoxicated. And it was always a sight when she did drink. Giving a small frown, she hesitated and sighed before walking in.

And stared.

In the corners of the bar were... speakers. Playing modern music from the World of the Living. Eyes wide, Jayori blinked and looked around. There were no tatami mats or normal walls. The walls were painted black with streaks of dark purple. What kind of place was this? She's never been here before. Well, she rarely went to bars, that was to be expected, but this place was so...

...modern.

Jayori continued to look around in confusion, seeing that it had plenty of people inside. People actually went to this place.

"You know you're a month past your tab, right?" The bartender, Ryoichi's good friend friend Arata, sent the sixth seat a flat stare, though had an amused smirk on his face.

"You know I'm good for it, right?" Ryoichi wore a broad grin, only that didn't diminish even when Arata rolled his eyes and huffed.

"Unfortunately, yes. What do ya want?" Arata leaned forward on the bar and continued to smirk.

Jayori wandered in after Miyu, glancing around the area and looking everywhere. Lights shined everywhere, low settings, and made everything look... different. Though whether it was good or not... she'd need a while to decide. She looked forward, seeing Ryoichi sitting at a desk with a wide grin and a bottle of sake in his hand. Furrowing her brows, Jayori gulped. Oh no...

"Can't we just sit here?" Miyu asked, sitting in her seat with a pout.

"This is a bar! You drink in bars!" Ryoichi gazed at her in disappointment, giving a grin when she sent him a sharp look. "Now c'mon, Jay here said that she'd treat—"

"Jayori."

Ryoichi blinked. "Sorry?"

"It's Jayori."

"Yeah, Jayori!" Ryoichi held his hand out towards her with a grin. "She said she's treat me for getting rid of the big, bad spider. It was a hard battle, but I did it." He bowed his head, as if the spider had been a worthy opponent.

Miyu sent him a flat stare. "...A spider..."

"Yeah, some people happen to be deathly afraid of spiders," He huffed and looked away. "Remember last summer, when we were cleaning the sewers with Ako?" He gave her a pointed look.

"First off, we had to work down there because you put itching powder in all of the fourth division occupants beds—and the uniforms of the nurses!" He blinked before he shrugged and gave a grin. Jayori gave him an odd look while she sipped from her cup. "Second, it was you who screamed when you felt something on your back."

Ryoichi frowned. "You'd scream, too, if there was a spider crawling down your back."

"It was water."

"Okay, who wants to play a card game~!" The dark-haired man rubbed his hands together with a smirk, completely ignoring Miyu. He ignored the glare from his buddy. "If we're gonna be here, I wanna play a game." He looked up and smirked. "Who's up for it?"

"Just a game, no money?" Miyu asked, eyeing the man warily.

"Yeah, yeah, no money," Ryoichi rolled his eyes and pulled out a deck of cards, setting them down on the table. Jayori looked down, feeling a buzz already. Shouldn't drink too much too fast... "Okay, strip poker."

"RYOICHI!"

Alphons was someone you could get along with, there was no doubt about that.

But he always seemed to keep everyone at a distance. The more seasoned warriors could tell just by having a conversation with him for a few minutes that he was hiding himself behind a wall, a wall most people didn't bother trying to get past. Most just didn't care and left him alone. And because no one bothered getting to know him, the real him... it just...

...tore him apart...

A lot of people spoke to him, yes, even got along with him, but it just didn't have that emotional feel to it. Not like it did when... his friend was with him.

He sighed, sitting on the ground in the small courtyard. He ignored the guy sweeping the grassy courtyard, and hell, why was he sweeping here, anyway? Rolling his eyes with a scoff, he looked away, just in time to see Jay walking down the porch with a pile of paperwork in her arms. He raised his arm, about to greet her before he paused and bit his lip. His hand dropped.

Looking at his lap, he furrowed his brows and played with his fingers.

Why did people make friends if they didn't want to even try getting to know the real person?

Looking underneath the obvious, and all that crap.

Alphons ran a hand through his blond locks, letting out a sigh and looking to the side. His thoughts were just making him depressed now. Maybe he should go to his room and stay there for a couple days? Get away from people and other—

A hand slapped against his back.

"Hey, Alphons!"

He let out a surprised yelp and whipped around, not having sensed anyone around, staring wide-eyed at the newcomer.

Ryoichi grinned and sat down beside him on the ground. "How ya doin', man?" He gave a close-eyed smirk. "I just came back from drinkin', which is why I stink." He pulled a face and stared at his clothes. "My little drinkin' partner got a little... too drunk, so I decided to drop her off at the eighth division and call it a day." He shrugged lightly. He pulled a face. "She, uh... called me attractive... along with a few other men. Then she tried climbing on the table, so that's when I decided to shut it down."

Alphons cleared his throat before he gave a wide grin. "Aa, so who was this partner?"

"Hm? Name's Jayori, from Yuna's division," He frowned and looked up in thought. "I don't think they know each other..." He shrugged lightly and gazed at the blonde. "...So, what's got you down in the dumps?" He leaned back on his hands and gave a lazy smirk.

"Nothing." Alphons continued to grin and shrugged.

Ryoichi snorted. "So that 'pity me' look ya had on before I talked to you was nothing?" He watched as the blonde tensed and looked away. "Alphons..." He frowned when his companion didn't look his way. "Alphons." His voice became more stern, making the blonde jump lightly and look at him with slightly wide eyes.

"...Didn't know you could do that." Alphons said, looking away with a pout.

"Ya gotta be an authoritative figure when you're a sixth seat," Ryoichi shrugged lightly and glanced at the man with lidded eyes, looking very lazy. "...Hell, I don't really care if anyone listens to me, but if they piss me off enough..." He shrugged and gave a grin. "Well, they better know how to defend themselves against a pissed off seated shinigami."

Alphons smirked and looked at the sky, letting out a small breath of air. "...Nothing's wrong."

"Bullshit," Ryoichi's voice didn't chance from that lazy drawl, but it still made the blonde flinch. "Ya don't get to be my age and not learn a few things." Alphons furrowed his brows and glanced at him curiously. How old was he, then? Seeming to know what he was thinking, the sixth seat continued to speak. "It's like my grandpappy used ta say, 'Don't reveal yer age to anyone, boy, they'll still think yer young an' handsome fer the rest of yer life.'" He waved his hand and smirked.

Alphons snorted in laughter. "Did he really say that?" He gave the other man a grin.

"Hell, I dunno, never met the guy," Ryoichi shrugged lightly and smirked. Even though the air around him smelled of stale alcohol, he still seemed coherent. "I just heard stuff like that when I'd go to the World of the Living. But stop avoidin' the subject, what's got ya sad and poor and crap-headed?"

The blonde couldn't help but smirk in amusement. "Where do you think up your sentences?" Ryoichi pointed to his head. Alphons smiled before he frowned and looked ahead. "Do you..." He cleared his throat and rubbed the back of his neck as he looked away. "Do you... ever hide yourself from others?"

Ryoichi blinked slowly. "Sure."

"And... do you just... get frustrated when no one makes an effort to get to know you? The real you? Someone they actually want to be around?"

Ryoichi stayed silent for a few moments.

"Sometimes, but let's face it," The blond glanced at him, seeing him give a wide, toothy grin. "I don't really care what anyone thinks of me. If I did, hell, I woulda just gave up years ago and cried myself ta sleep every night." He looked at the light and clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth. "I've always spoke whatever's on my mind, even when I first came to the Soul Society, and most of the time people get pretty tired of me quickly. But, like I said, I've never cared. If they don't want to get to know me, why should I focus on it?"

"But..." Alphons frowned and glanced at the sixth seat. "You got that Miyu."

Ryoichi couldn't help the smile that crossed his face. "Aaa... Miyu's one of the few in a million whose opinion I care about. She's my little minion," A giddy grin crossed his face. "She's my lil' sister, and if anyone ever hurts her, physically or mentally," He narrowed his eyes and gave a dark grin. "I'll kill them."

They stayed silent.

Alphons shuffled away, just a little.

Ryoichi gave a wide grin. "Don't let people close, if you want, Alphons, I ain't really gonna care," The blonde frowned slightly. "You want someone to get to know you... but you just don't know how to let them in." The sixth seat stayed silent. "...I think that's enough sentimentality for one day, wanna go piss off Kuchiki?" He turned to grin at the man.

Alphons blinked before he laughed with a grin. Ryoichi was a weird guy.

He gave a nod. "Sure."

"Great." Ryoichi stood up, still grinning.

Weird guy... but nice.

"Now get off your fat ass, already."

...And rude.

Alphons pushed himself up and walked after the sixth seat. "You're very..."

"Handsome? Sexy? One of a kind?"

"One of a kind, and thank god for that," Alphons grinned when the sixth seat turned and sent him a scowl. "...but you're... not a bad guy."

Ryoichi blinked in surprise, cheeks tinged red before he scoffed and looked away. "Yeah... Anyway, wanna come with me tomorrow," He turned and sent the man a grin. "You can be my plus one for the old man's birthday!"

"Uh..." Alphons blinked and raised his eyebrows. "Okay? But I thought that little redhead said he doesn't trust that easily?"

"He doesn't, but he won't mind if you come... He'll probably get pissed at me, but he won't care in the end," Ryoichi continued to grin. "Besides, it might be fun to have you there, I know Satoshi and Miyu said they wanted to meet you again. And Ako, but she wants to make friends with everyone. Oh, and Kisho, too!"

Alphons listened as Ryoichi rambled on, smirking as he listened to the sixth seat.

Weird guy...

...But nice.

Ako blinked, staring at the figure in the fourth division closely as she stood at the desk in the front of the division. Was that...? A wide grin crossed her face. It was! She quickly jogged towards them, waving almost crazily when the person she was looking at glanced at her.

The person rolled his eyes and groaned when he saw her.

Which she ignored.

"Senpai!" Ako spread her arms, as if about to hug him, and jumped.

The older man stepped to the side, not caring when she hit the floor. She shot up and turned to send him a glare, but he didn't turn towards her or acknowledge her. He signed a few forms, looking stern the entire time. Only when she grabbed him did he turn and glance down at her.

"What?" Was his rude response to her look.

Orochi Raiden, the sixth seat of the fourth division. And if she were honest, just a tad scary. He seemed to be in a constant state of grouchiness. He had a short fuse and often snapped at anyone that happened to be that cause, whether they were men or women. He didn't even care if they were easily scared. She stepped back and pouted, which didn't move the older man at all. He turned away and went back to signing forms.

"When did you get back?" Ako grinned and hopped around the man to stand in front of him.

"Why do you want to know?" He didn't look at her, only reading the forms and looking bored the entire time.

It amazed her. Raiden here was friends with Hiroshi—one of his oldest friends if she recalled. They often wondered how they became friends, then thought that their stern attitudes brought them together. Though they were more than likely wrong.

"'Cause you were my mentor?" Ako said with a frown. Still is my mentor.

"Hm," His frown didn't lesson. "I got back today." And he was already working. Amazing. "Now go away and be useful."

She deflated, furrowing her eyebrows and gazing at him with big eyes. "But I just wanted to talk to you!"

"No. Now go to work."

She scowled. He wasn't as easily moved as Hiroshi was. A lot of people were intimidated of him. A glance around showed that, yes, some of the nurses were gazing at him uneasily. He, like Ryoichi, didn't seem to give a care what people thought of him. Either they were useful or they were in the way.

"Are you gonna come to the old man's birthday?" That grin crossed her face again.

That caught his attention. "When and where?" Raiden still didn't look up.

"You care about him?" Ako drifted closer with a Cheshire grin across her face.

"Either you tell me or I'll assign you the task of taking stock." Raiden gave her a sharp look at the same time she cringed at the thought.

"Tomorrow at five and at Kisho's restaurant."

"Good, I will be there," He turned away, causing everyone in his way to jump back. Raiden still didn't remove his eyes from the documents. "Oh, and you're taking stock."

Ako widened her eyes. "WHAT?!"

"For whining and not wanting to work." Raiden continued on, not caring at all when the shock crossed the redhead's face.

She soon scowled and glared after him.

No good son of a bastard.

She quickly turned and started sprinting away when he stopped and faced her.

The Next Day

"Happy Birthday, old friend."

Hiroshi blinked lazily, glancing up from his desk as he held up his cup of tea to his mouth, having a nice cup of tea in the morning. Raising an eyebrow, he lowered his cup and frowned in confusion when Genshiro walked in and stalked towards his desk with a pleasant look on his face. All the other seats were at their desks and working away, some smiling in amusement as they listened on.

"Happy—" Hiroshi's confusion died away at the same time he closed his eyes and frowned. "What day is it today?"

"Tuesday." Genshiro answered with a small smile, arms folded in his sleeves.

Hiroshi sighed and leaned forward on his desk, rubbing his temples. A scowl crossed his face when he heard chuckling around the room. All the other seated shinigami knew how much he disliked his birthday, ever since he met those kids. He was neutral about it before he met them, since they wanted to celebrate it every year. And some of the things they did. Took him for a day of drinking, took him for a week of trying on kimonos so he had something nice to wear, took him for two days of relaxation at Spa Land(which irritated him to no end), took him to a brothel... That last part pissed him off so much that he didn't talk to the kids for weeks.

All he wanted to do on days like this was relax.

Not having to worry about work.

Not having to deal with anything stressful.

But they... All they wanted to do was make him do things that stressed him out.

They had good intentions, no doubt, but sometimes they were just... too much.

"Here is your first present of the day." Genshiro placed something on his desk.

Hiroshi looked down, frowning to himself. "...Thank you." He stared blankly at the sake bottle.

"It might relax you in time for your party." Genshiro's smile widened as he turned to head for his desk.

The fourth seat frowned and looked up with a look of exasperation, making everyone in the room start chuckling once more, only this time they didn't stop when Hiroshi snapped at them to stop.

"Humph! You should all be working."

That voice caused some of the occupants in the room to send the owner a glare while the rest ignored him. Masayoshi Daijiro, the eighth seat of the first division, sat at his desk, looking up from his work with a cold look in his eyes. A work mule, most people called him. He was a cold, ruthless, and any other nasty name the younger generations came up with. While being severe was not necessary to be a seated officer, he seemed to take it to a whole new level.

And, he was an ass.

One most of the Soutaicho's seated officers hated with a passion.

"There is no need for the attitude, Masayoshi." The ninth seat called out, sending the man a narrowed eyed stare.

"We are here to work, not for make idle chatter and avoid said work." The cold look in Daijiro's eyes did not dim.

Hiroshi gave him a stoic look, face blank and eyes hard. His reaction made the eighth seat bristle and send him a dark glare.

"It's so tense in here~!"

Everyone immediately went back to work after the tense atmosphere dissipated. The one who had gotten rid of it was none other than Kisho, who gave a wide grin and sauntered over towards Hiroshi's desk, who had frowned when he saw who it was. One of the kids... He didn't react when the blond gave a bright grin, red eyes gazing at the older man kindly. He looked down when the blond placed something on his desk, staring at the box.

"Made you some lunch, so don't forget to eat." Kisho winked at him, receiving an unamused stare.

"Hm."

"And I made sure to give you all your favourites~!" The look the cook sent him was one of affection—for food.

The man was obsessed with cooking.

"Hm..." Hiroshi hummed once again, gazing at the blond for a moment. "...Thank you." He frowned when Kisho didn't move.

"Does he, uh..." The fifth seat shuffled on spot before nodding his head discreetly in the direction of Masayoshi Daijiro. "Does he always pick on you?"

"I'm a grown man, Kisho, I can take care of it myself," Hiroshi sent him a flat stare. He sighed and gave a small smile when he saw the blond slump his shoulders. "But thank you for your concern."

Kisho instantly perked up, and for good reason~! Hiroshi rarely thanked any of them, so when he did thank them... He blushed and grinned before he waved and turned to walk away. Now he was happy. Hopefully the old man came to the restaurant, he'd be mighty sad if he didn't come by. Just in case...

He turned, eyes growing wide and innocent, smiling at the man.

Hiroshi stared at him, instantly narrowing his eyes and giving a frown.

"Get out."

Damn, he should've kept walking.

Satoshi and Fuyu blinked.

"What?"

Yuna stared at them, her face set in determination. Which confused the hell out of them, since she never showed any interest in Zanjutsu. Or anything, really. All she wanted to know was when she could sleep and be lazy, or whatever she had to do to get out of work. The three stood in front of the eleventh division, staring down at their friend to see her frown at them when they remained quiet for too long. Just in case, Fuyu started looking around for Ako and Ryoichi to see if they put her up to this. But he did not see nor sense them nearby.

Satoshi pulled a face. "...Why?" As if the idea itself was baffling.

Yuna scowled and crossed her arms. Uh-oh, the two instantly thought. They knew that pose. It was the "pissed off" pose women did. Well, they didn't know if all women did it, but their four girls often did it whenever they were angry.

"I just want to learn Zanjutsu, so why are you making a big deal out of this?" Yuna glared at them, daring them to say something sexist.

Fuyu shrugged helplessly. "You've never even cared about Zanjutsu, and now today you're... demanding that we teach you," He frowned and raised an eyebrow, eyes squinted, as usual. "Are you okay?" He stepped closer and placed his hands on his hips.

"It's stances like that that make guys think yer a woman." Satoshi mildly commented, soon grunting in pain and yelping when Fuyu elbowed his stomach and tripped him. He scowled while he laid on the ground.

"I'm fine!" Yuna pouted at them, which made them grin for a moment. "I just want to learn how to... defend myself, if a situation called for it." She kicked an imaginary pebble on the ground and looked away.

"...You've never cared about that." Satoshi blurted out.

He grunted in pain when Fuyu punched his side, turning his head to send him a scowl.

"Please learn tact, Satoshi, my dear friend," Fuyu sent him a flat stare. "Anyway, Yuna, even if we did accept to teach you, you wouldn't be able to handle our training."

That turned out to be the wrong thing to say.

Yuna narrowed her eyes and pursed her lips, sending them a dark glare for what she thought was a sexist comment. The two pressed their lips together and took a safe step away, just in case. Not that she could hurt them, but hell, when she was mad she had a temper that rivalled their tiny friend, Ako... They took another step away, just in case.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Yuna crossed her arms and continued to glare. "Are you saying I can't train with you because I'm not a man?!"

"No!" Fuyu held his hands up and grinned nervously. "No, that's not what we're saying at all, Yuna! It's just that... our training is a bit more..." He waved his hand as he tried thinking of a word. "Taxing." He gave a nervous chuckle.

"What do you mean?" Yuna frowned in confusion, turning her head to see a couple people walk by.

"Well, fer one we dun stop when we're tired, we jus' keep attacking," Satoshi explained with a shrug, seeing the woman widen her eyes slightly and step away. "S'not like we're gonna attack you right now!" He crossed his arms and scowled. "Ya can't blame us fer being friggin' surprised that ya wanna train."

"Why do you want to train?" Fuyu eyed her suspiciously and curiously.

"'Cause."

That wasn't an answer.

They frowned and sent her irritated glares, seeing her purse her lips and give them a neutral stare. They eventually glanced at one another and had a silent conversation, gesturing towards their friend every few seconds before they sighed and gave small nods. Yuna perked up, seeing them look towards her with tight smiles on their faces.

"Alright, Yuna, but..." Fuyu gave a grin. "you have to give us something in return." The woman then frowned and sent him a glare, which just made his glee grow. "I want you to convince Kisho to cook us dinner tomorrow... for free."

Yuna blinked in astonishment before she slumped and pouted. "But he'll never do that."

"I know, not unless we pay, but his food's amazing." Satoshi started salivating, gazing ahead with a grin.

"How am I gonna get him to do that!" Yuna stomped her foot childishly and scowled.

"I dunno, but if you can convince him, we'll happily help you train!" The two men gave wide grins when they could see the woman seethe.

She opened her mouth to say something to that before she froze and widened her eyes. The two men frowned in confusion when she bid them a quick farewell and made a hasty escape. They glanced at each other questioningly, turning around and slowly nodding when they saw why she took off so quickly.

Kenpachi walked down the steps with his loyal trio of misfits.

"She ever gonna get used ta him?" Satoshi asked, glancing down at the blond curiously.

Fuyu gave him a flat stare.

"Alright, then."

Hiroshi tried not to sigh, but it came anyway. He was about to head to his home, to see if he could run before any of the kids went to grab him(though he'd never admit it) but there was Miyu. Heading straight for him with the happiest smile on her face as she waved. Ignoring the feeling of irritation bubbling up inside he straightened his back and sent her a look of indifference. Not that it did anything to dissuade her. That bright smile stayed on her face as she stopped in front of him.

"Ready~?" Miyu held her hands up and gave a bright smile.

Hiroshi resisted the urge to roll his eyes. No, he was not ready. He did not want to celebrate his birthday, nor did he ever care to. But he gave a nod, letting the woman grab his hand and pull him along. A glance around the area told him that some of the younger subordinates were staring at them strangely, at the fact that their fourth seat was letting someone pull him along. All he had to do was narrow his eyes and they went back to work.

She pulled him all the way, even though he said he could walk himself. All she did was turn and send him a firm stare and said he would run away if she let go. He replied that he wouldn't.

Even though he would.

His frown seemed to grow when she hugged his arm, resisting the urge to once again roll his eyes. Why did he tolerate them? He tried drowning out the world as she dragged him along, trying to envision himself elsewhere. Like... reading. Or cooking. Or trying to sleep. Maybe even go for a walk.

Far away from the kids.

"Happy Birthday, Hiroshi~!" Miyu snuggled into his side with a grin.

He paused before he scowled and sighed. Damn him and the kids for always seeking him out during this time. How did they even find out when his birthday was? He never told them. Then again, he wouldn't put it past his old friend—Raiden—to tell them just to annoy him. The scowl grew. While Raiden was a grouchy old coot—though was just a century younger than he—he had a mischievous side. When it came to him.

He did anything to annoy him.

And it always worked.

"You're not gonna leave, right?" Miyu looked up, pursing her lips and narrowing her eyes.

Hiroshi rolled his eyes and sighed. "No."

"Goody."

He frowned at the word.

When they finally arrived, Hiroshi frowned and stared at the scene. Unamused.

A banner with 'Happy Birthday' was hung across the private room he always used when he would go to the restaurant. He side-stepped when Ako jumped towards him, intending to hug him and hang on. He didn't react when he heard a 'thump' behind himself. Satoshi and Fuyu grinned at him from the table, sitting right beside Kisho and Yuna. Ryoichi was across with(who was that?) a friend(Alphons), with Haruki(surprising that he was there, he must not have work), Miyu and...

Hiroshi reared back.

"Ma'am?" Came the automatic response.

Satsuki looked up and gave a warm smile, standing up and walking towards the fourth seat. He noted the shihakusho she wore, she must be done work. Ako, Kasumi, and Yuna grinned when the two stood in front of each other. And now comes the kiss... Kasumi thought. As if reading her thoughts, Ako and Yuna turned and sent her odd stares.

"Happy Birthday, Kazuhiko-san," Satsuki continued that warm smile, with a blush, having an atmosphere that was sweet and almost seemed... like home. "I'm sorry I didn't bring a present, I was invited at the last moment." She gave a close-eyed smile and furrowed her eyebrows.

Hiroshi blinked and took a tiny step back, one that was noted by the three(four, now that they told Miyu their plan), and cleared his throat.

"I... That is fine, ma'am," He gave a nod, seeing the woman give a relieved smile. He cleared his throat and looked to the side, shuffling on spot. This was awkward. What should he say? He opened his mouth to say... something, when someone pushed him forward, causing him to widen his eyes and stumble. Only by balancing on his feet did he not land on her, who widened her eyes and jumped back. He whipped around, eyes wide with anger before he blinked. "Raiden."

The medic gave him a blank stare. "Either go in or stand there like an idiot, just move out of the way when someone's coming."

Hiroshi sighed and stood straight. "When did you get back?"

"Yesterday," Raiden rolled his eyes and walked towards the table, sitting down right beside Kasumi(who went rigid and stared straight ahead with wide eyes). "Picking herbs and going on patrol... Anyone could have done it, yet Unohana Taicho saw me fit to go."

Hiroshi smirked in amusement, letting out a surprised grunt when Miyu stood up and pushed him towards his designated spot, forcing him to sit down. He sent her a stare, watching as she grinned and walked back towards her seat. He paused and looked to his right, seeing Satsuki sitting right beside him. He blinked before eyeing the kids suspiciously. Why sit her beside him? The brunette shifted her her seat, staring at the table with a blush on her face. She gasped softly when his leg brushed hers, causing him to go rigid and mutter out an apology.

The kids were staring strangely now, watching as the two looked away from each other.

Raiden, however, having only arrived and already figured it out, was smirking in amusement.

Hiroshi looked around and stared at the food, the kids, his old friend, his... uh... psychologist... and the banner with 'Happy Birthday'... He sighed loudly and looked at the table with a scowl.

This is going to be a looong day.

Howdy, howdy. :D

It's gonna be in two parts, otherwise it would've kept going.

First off... I'm sorry... so very sorry... for the long wait. DX I did not mean to. But... well, laziness plays a big part in writer's block. DX Sorry. Again.

Anyway, the wonderful creators that let me borrow their OCs for this story—and I'm sad to say I have to go back and read their bios 'cause I basically forgot their personalities—I need to know a lil' something. OwO It's nothing to worry about... maybe.

First, uh... yeah, unless I get feedback on how I'm writing your OCs... they're gonna get fleshed out. O.O I believe is the saying...? And unfortunately, a couple are already being fleshed out(I just gotta remember which). I need some insight on your OCs people! I'm not mind-reader, though I'd love to be one, I have no idea how your OC will react. DX Sorry, sorry.

Second, I was reviewing the story in my head—got it planned out—and the development between the couples... is gonna be... looooong. O.O No kidding. I imagine they'll finally have a little attraction towards each other in... fifteen chapters or so? Or, if I'm lucky I'll speed things along and finally get them to kiss! :D Make it less than ten chapters, hopefully. It was brought to my attention, that the development is way, way too slow. What I think it is, and it's a major factor here, is that basically our three girls—four if you count Kasumi—is that they're in different divisions. So, yeah, my head's getting all these scenarios, all of which makes me grin. :D

And antics, can't forget the antics.

One that involves Ryoichi—one I hope to write in a couple chapters. :D

And third—ATTENTION—there is going to be an incident, one I don't want to reveal yet, and I just want to know who's willing to let their OC... go a lil' nuts.

O.O

I kid you not.

All the wonderful creators—yuppers, talkin' about you—I need your permission. And that's only if you want to, I'm not going to force anyone and say, "Anyone who won't let me let their OCs go crazy gets their OC kicked out of my story!" XD Though that would be mean.

Who's willing? :D

Oh, yeah, one more thing...

I unintentionally insult people. O.O No joke, I'll say something, which won't sound insulting at all to me, until after I post the chapter and I re-read my responses. DX And, yeah... this is how I lost most of my readers and reviewers. :D Sadly. DX

Oh, yeah, my birthday was nine days ago~! (*^▽^*)

I will try write the next chapter as fast as I can. _φ(°-°=) *writing*
