Hopeful. That had to sum her entire existence since she stopped being the person everyone wanted her to be and started being the girl she was always meant to be. Hopeful. The day she found herself again, Elizabeth became her own northern star, walking into every moment forward as an entire person. No longer questioning what she was meant to do or who she was meant to be.

Standing in front of the full length mirror, Elizabeth takes in a deep slow breath before letting it back out again, working to get her excitement for the day's events under control. So much has happened since the day Jason proposed to her, so much that she hadn't seen coming, warming her heart beyond measure as her world continues to grow.

Telling her parents about her impending wedding, she never once stopped to think that they'd put their lives on hold to be there for her. Her mother flew into town first, her father following soon after, both lending her a hand in planning her wedding. The amount of effort that her parents put into planning her wedding, Elizabeth just couldn't put into words what that meant to her.

The gallery has started picking up momentum in the art world. They have done three art shows since the grand opening with another art show scheduled for the end of the month. Her sister will be the one to oversee the gallery while she and Jason are away on their honeymoon. Elizabeth had been so thankful when her sister agreed to take the management position for the gallery so that she'd have more time to focus on her art.

Between the art gallery taking off and Jason's security firm finally gaining some standing, everything was truly falling into place, creating the perfect foundation to build their future on. They still have a long way to go to make their businesses truly thrive, but they are so ready for it. Together they are ready for anything.

"Come in," she calls out when someone knocks on the door, but doesn't enter. "Hey."

"Hey," Francis replies as he walks in with Johnny close behind. "Just checking in."

"Getaway car is on stand by in case you change your mind," Johnny voices, laughing along with Elizabeth when Francis looks at him in disbelief. "Hey, I'm prepared for all outcomes."

"I'm good, thanks," Elizabeth shakes her head. "Maybe try Jason."

"He did," Francis replies with a shake of his head. "Nearly shot him where he stood."

"Hey, it never hurts to be prepared," Johnny says simply, dropping down onto one of the chairs. "If you ask me, I say he totally overreacted to my well thought out gesture."

"Right," Francis says sarcastically before turning to Elizabeth. "How you feeling?"

"Ready," Elizabeth voices after some thought. "How's the church?"

"All set," Francis assures. "That sister of yours is quite the event planner."

"That she is," Elizabeth agrees, turning to Johnny with a slight smirk. "If she's working this hard for my wedding, just imagine when it's for you guys."

"Hey, don't go handing out ideas," Johnny counters as he gets back to his feet. "I just got her to agree to go out with me. I don't need you scaring her off with that kind of talk."

"Relax, I was just kidding," Elizabeth shakes her head, knowing just how hard he's worked to get Sarah to agree to go out with him, her sister wanting to be sure that he's in it for the right reasons. "My lips are sealed."

"Good, it better be," Johnny relaxes. "So when are you getting into your dress anyway?"

"Not just yet," Elizabeth replies. "Still got another hour before the wedding starts."

"And that's Jason," Francis voices after checking his phone. "Gotta run perimeter check. You gonna be okay?"

"I'm fine," Elizabeth assures with a soft smile. "Go, I'll see you guys out there."

"Getaway car," Johnny voices as he's walking to the door. "Just saying."

"Keep it up and I'll do more than suggest a wedding to Sarah," Elizabeth counters. "We'll see just how fast she'll jump into her own getaway car."

"I think I'd rather get shot," Johnny counters with a laugh before walking out of the room with Francis.

Laughing softly, she turns away from the door to walk over to her wedding dress that's hanging on the wall, taking in a steady breath as she runs her fingers over the delicate material. She has dreamt of this day for so long that it all seems like a dream. Feeling her dress beneath her fingers, knowing that this is really happening, that she's really marrying the man of her dreams, Elizabeth couldn't wait to put it on and walk down the aisle to her future. Gently taking hold of the Saint George necklace that Francis had given her, she whispers a prayer of thanks for the courage she had been blessed with to see her changes through to the end.

The day has finally come and he was beyond ready for it to happen. The interior design team finally finished the house last week. From the pictures, the house looks just as they had envisioned it, but they have yet to step foot in the house. They both agreed that the first time they walk into their home it'll be as husband and wife. The house will be where they build their future, where they create their home as a family, and they will walk into their future together from the very start.

"Come in," Jason voices when there's a knock at the door. "Hey."

"Hey, man," Sonny says as he walks into the room, waiting for Carly to walk in after him before he shuts the door. "Up for some company?"

"Sure," Jason says with a nod. "Just remember we're in a church."

"Funny," Carly counters with a roll of her eyes. "I'm not here to cause trouble."

"Good," Jason smiles slightly. "I'm glad you guys could make it."

"We almost didn't," Carly says pointedly. "Flight back from Puerto Rico took a ridiculous amount of time to take off."

"I don't control the weather," Sonny reminds his wife. "We're here aren't we?"

"Besides the point," Carly replies simply before turning to Jason. "Any chance I can convince you to call this off?"

"For the hundredth time, no," Jason shakes his head. "This is happening, Carly."

"Yeah, yeah, I get it," Carly sighs. "I mean, I'm glad someone was able to get you to think about your future, I just wish it wasn't muffin face."

"She has a name," Jason points out. "Maybe trying using it."

"Eventually...maybe...probably not," Carly shrugs. "You know I want you happy, you know that, I just...did it have to be her?"

"We'll let you get back to what you were doing," Sonny says as he carefully takes hold of Carly. "See you out there."

"Fine, fine, I'm going," Carly groans slightly before following Sonny out of the room to find their seats. "Still can't believe it had to be her."

Laughing softly to himself, Jason shakes his head before turning back to the mirror to finish getting ready. It was a hard pill to swallow when Sonny suggested someone else as his best man, but he was right in the end. As much as he wanted Sonny to stand by his side, he took a different path and separation is key in the beginning stages of this particular venture.

Sonny understood that it would take time for the five families to be certain that Sonny had no part in Jason's organization and he made Jason understand it, as well. Besides, this way he can keep an eye on his wife and make sure she doesn't do anything to interrupt the ceremony. Lord knows he just might have to tape Carly's mouth shut when the priest calls for any objections.

With Sonny out of the picture as best man, Jason decided to choose someone with equal weight in his life, but of the opposite gender. A best woman, if you will. Asking his grandmother to be his best woman was a moment he will never forget. The amount of love that shone through her eyes, he knew in that moment that he made the right decision.

"Ready when you are," Francis says when he sticks head in a little while later. "Sarah just went to get Elizabeth."

"I'm ready," Jason voices, situating his suit once more before following Francis out of the room, taking in the decorations as he takes his place at the alter. "She's gonna love this."

Getting her into her wedding dress, Elizabeth and Sarah take a moment to just look at her. It took nearly a month to find the perfect wedding dress, but it was so worth the wait. In that moment, seeing herself in the mirror, Elizabeth was thankful that they hadn't settled for any of the other dresses that they had seen.

"You're so beautiful," Sarah says softly, reaching up her hand to wipe the tears that started to fall down Elizabeth's cheek. "Hey, no fair tears just yet, you have more than enough time during your vows."

"Thank you for everything, sis, truly," Elizabeth says before pulling her sister into a warm embrace. "I don't know what I'd do without you."

"Yeah, well, you'll never have to find out ever again," Sarah promises. "Come on, it's time to get you married."

"Girls, it's time..." their father voices from the doorway, but his words fall off when Elizabeth turns to face him, seeing her in her dress for the first time.

"Look at that," Sarah comments teasingly. "Father's gone speechless."

"I think he's frozen," Elizabeth replies as they watch their father just stare in awe. "Should we call mother?"

"Poke fun all you like," Jeff voices with a shake of his head, making his way over to them. "You look absolutely beautiful, Elizabeth."

"Thanks, dad," Elizabeth says with a soft smile. "It means a lot that you're here."

"Nowhere I'd rather be," Jeff assures as he links arms with her. "You ready to do this?"

"Remember, father, just as we rehearsed," Sarah teases as they walk out to take their positions. "Into the church. Not out the door."

"It was one time," Jeff points out, though the thought had crossed his mind. "Besides, it's a father's duty to at least try."

"As long as you get her down this aisle when all is said and done," Sarah replies simply, turning to Elizabeth and sliding a reassuring hand into hers. "This is it. He's not gonna know what hit him."

Taking a deep breath, she shares a loving smile with her father just as the doors open up and the music begins. Her sister walks down the aisle first before the bridal march begins. The moment she stepped foot into the church, tears filled her eyes at the sheer beauty of the place, her sister having truly outdone herself in creating the perfect wedding. Taking a brief moment to take it all in, Elizabeth's eyes slowly find her fiance's, the look in his eyes as they meet hers absolutely takes her breath away.

Situating his grandmother by his side, he gets ready for the ceremony to begin, anxious to see her already. To be with her. As if sensing his anxiety, his grandmother slides a reassuring hand into his, lending him comfort and understanding as he awaits his bride. Smiling softly, he places a kiss upon her forehead, thanking her for being there for him before he takes in a deep breath, truly ready for the ceremony to begin.

When the doors open and Sarah walks out, he knows that its time, she will soon be within viewing distance. He wasn't prepared at all, however, for the moment that she stepped out into the church, his breath caught in his throat as he took in every beautiful inch of his fiancee. Seeing her in that moment as she takes in the church, tears well up in his eyes as her eyes finally meet his, the level of emotion overwhelming in that very moment.

"She's beautiful," Lila says softly as Elizabeth makes her way down the aisle with her father. "Absolutely stunning."

"She really is," he replies, unable to take his eyes off her for even a moment. "Beyond words."

While she takes her final steps towards him, Elizabeth's hand is already reaching out for his, needing to feel his hands in hers to know that this is reality. The moment their hands connect, her heart skips a beat, knowing that this is really happening. This is truly their lives and it was just about to begin. Kissing her father's cheek, she turns to Jason completely, sliding her other hand into his, ready for the ceremony to begin.

As the church settles down into a peaceful silence, the priest begins the ceremony, preaching on the unity of marriage and the sanctity of such a holy bond. After everything it took to get them to this moment, the struggles they faced as they worked to make their future a reality, to be there now in that moment, it was beyond any words either could fathom. Through change and loss, they found their way and they will continue to do so without regret because this is truly where they were meant to be without question.

"I, Jason Morgan, take you, Elizabeth Webber, to be my lawfully wedded wife," Jason repeats after the priest. "To have and to hold, in sickness and in health, for richer or for poorer, through good times and bad, forsaking all others, always and forever."

"I, Elizabeth Webber, take you, Jason Morgan, to be my lawfully wedded husband," Elizabeth repeats after the priest. "To have and to hold, in sickness and in health, for richer or for poorer, through good times and bad, forsaking all others, always and forever."

"By the power vested in me by God and man, I now pronounce you husband and wife," the priest says softly. "What God has joined together, let no man put asunder. You may now kiss the bride."

Gently pulling her into his arms, Jason claims her lips with his, pouring his heart and soul into this first embrace as husband and wife. Melting into his touch, Elizabeth could feel her entire existence melting into him, knowing that from this moment on they will never be alone. No matter what this world has to offer, no matter what may come their way, they will always have each other. Now and forever.

The reception goes by in a blur, so much happiness and excitement, love and family, it was everything she could have imagined and more. Jason has begun to truly mend bridges with his family and she couldn't wait for him to be able to truly connect with them. Baby steps, she knows, but it will so be worth the wait. A part of her hurts for Emily, not having her to share in her happiness, but that was a battle for another day.

Nothing and no one will take away from this day and all that's too come. Sneaking out of the reception with the help of her sister, they quickly make their way to their house. Dismounting the bike, Jason stands before her, a playful smirk on his lips as he lifts her up into his arms, kissing her soundly as she melts into his embrace.

"You ready?" Jason questions as they stand at the front door, holding her in his arms to carry her through the threshold.

"I've never been more ready for anything in my entire life," Elizabeth whispers, kissing him softly. "Here's to our ever after."

"Here's to our forever."

Hopeful. As they walk through the front door of their house, the feeling of coming home overly abundant, hopeful is the resounding feeling as they make their way to the master bedroom. This is where their story truly begins. As husband and wife. As a family. Hopeful for today. Hopeful for tomorrow. And hopeful for all that's yet to come.

A/N: Sadly this is where this one comes to an end. Fret not this won't be the last you see of this version of our couple. It won't be any time soon, but a sequel will be in the works once I finish the ones I feel I'm able to finish. Till then, I hope you've enjoyed the ride and I look forward to your input. Thank you all and take care.
