A/N: Forgive me for being late! But I really wanna say one thing. I'm really happy. Did ja know that there wasn't as many fanfictions for this anime? NOW look at it! We even have M-rated stories! Yes, being excited over even that! Let's keep at it! Right?
This is the final chapter other than the Epilogue.
So enjoy~
~Fine's POV~
I smiled, and grabbed my suitcase. A big one that goes around the shoulder, red in colour.
A small sigh escaped my lips, anticipation yet excitement flowed through my body.
Looking at the clock, I fiddled with my fingers and the suitcase, this is so…
Scary.
No. No. None of that, Fine, you've really wanted this for so long. You can't back down now.
Not wanting to think anymore of such things, I decided to think of other things.
My relationship with Shade, what will happen once we-
Didn't I say I'd take my thought off of that?!
I sighed, but decided to put my thoughts on the relationship I had with Shade, rather than the one that was coming to be.
I looked one last time in the mirror, I was dressed in normal attire. Nothing too serious or sneaky, Shade had told me to not dress like that; saying we didn't need to draw any attention to ourselves.
A shirt that I stole from him and shorts, with cute socks and gym shoes. My suitcase was lightly packed, but not really. I decided to fold the clothes that I decided to take, about a few hundred dollars, other necessities and, well, anything you'd need to run away and get married.
There you go again, Fine. Those thoughts are coming back.
Yet I don't want those thoughts to go away.
~Shade's POV~
A bittersweet smile came across my face.
"Take care of mom, kay?" I smiled, and pat my sister's head. I stole a quick glance at my watch. 12:00 AM, I needed to get going if we wanted to catch the train out of here.
Milky looked back at me, blue eyes gleamed with sadness.
"I love you, Shade. Take care of Fine, got it!" She tried to smile, I knew this was gonna be hard for her.
She's not very old… I shook my head and smiled.
Giving her a long hug, I nodded. "I will."
She took a deep breath, "good."
I pat her head, and smirked. "Don't get in trouble."
She stuck her tongue out, and I laughed, "bye sis. I love you."
"… Bye, Onii-chan! Good luck!"
I winced at how loud she was, but smiled more, and ran off to Fine's.
I hope I'm not making her wait too long.
~Fine's POV~
I waited, and waited.
Did he forget? No, don't be stupid. He wouldn't forget something so important. Well, he's very forgetful.
I shook my head once more. I'm just tired.
I heard a noise from my window.
I went to it, and opened it.
A smile instantly came to my face.
"Heya Fine," Shade smiled up at me.
I smiled, teary eyed, and he started to climb up.
"Got anything you need to do? This will be a very long ride," he said, holding his own suitcase, and looked at me.
I smiled, and took the phone that my parents had paid for me, and put it on the dresser.
I then took out a note and pen.
He looked at me, confused.
"Write Romeo right here," I pointed to the top of the page. He smiled, and did as was told. I wrote in big letters the letters for 'and' and wrote down Cinderella.
I turned the page over, and wrote the note with all my feelings.
"Dear Mom and Dad,
I hope you know Romeo and Cinderella means that I eloped.
I can't stand it here anymore, you have no idea how long I've tolerated all of your high standards.
I love you all, but I can't do this.
So goodbye.
Love,
Fine.
Looking at Shade, I saw him holding our suitcases. "Ready, my Princess?"
I nodded at him, "yes, my Prince."
He laughed and jumped off the balcony, dropping the luggage on the ground, he held his arms up for me.
"I'll always be here to catch you from now on!" He smiled, and I smiled brighter.
Ready to leave everything behind.
I took a step, and jumped.
He caught me, of course, no broken bones. That's good.
We both laughed, and picked up our luggage.
"Are you ready now?" Shade asked.
"Yes I'm ready now."
"Today we'll leave everything behind, so let's get going."
I smiled at him, and we headed for the station.
Train tickets already bought, and suitcases already put in place, I couldn't help but feel a bit regretful.
Maybe my letter was too mean? Maybe my parents would hate me forever?
Shade apparently seemed to sense my doubts, and kissed me.
"Don't you dare worry about anything else. Just…" He stopped, and blushed. "Take my hand, and everything will be ok."
I sighed, and nodded, taking his hand.
Right. Everything's fine.
I have Shade by my side, and that's how things will be from now on.
I think I made the ending too sad. But, well you know, we have one more thing with this story. And that's the epilogue. So hope you guys look forward to that!
I'd do reviews, but I'll save that for later. But I do wanna say thanks to you all who reviewed, favorited and followed.
See you next time!
