Just an ickle drabble to introduce myself to the Wolfstar fandom, hello! =)
I do not own the characters.
"Remus Lupin!" called one Sirius Black as he stormed dramatically into the dormitory, pushing the doors open with both arms outstretched.
Remus looked up from where he was buttoning up his pyjama top with a jump, causing his hands to move away from what they were doing with surprise, leaving a couple inches of pale, scarred chest visible.
This was not helping Sirius concentrate on his plan. The plan he had been working on for the majority of the weekend.
"Hey, Padfoot," said Remus, reaching up to finish buttoning his shirt. "Where have you been this weekend?" he asked as he wandered into the bathroom.
"Uhm..." mumbled Sirius, fidgeting from one foot to another before following the other boy.
"I'm going to head to bed early tonight, sorry if you had any extravagant plans," Remus continued in his soft voice, squeezing toothpaste onto his toothbrush. "But it's full moon tomorrow night and I thought I'd get some extra sleep in so I'm not quite so knackered."
"Yeah, sure...err...listen..." Sirius stumbled over his words, frowning in concentration. This wasn't how he had planned this to go.
"Hmm?" said Remus around his toothbrush.
"I wanted to...err...say something. To you. I mean...ask something."
"Shurr, unn sheckun," Remus waved his left hand in a circular motion, indicating he'd be finished in a moment while he brushed quickly with his other hand.
"Right. Yes," nodded Sirius. "I'll err...just be outside." He stumbled from the bathroom and took some calming breathes. He could do this.
"You alright, Padfoot? You look a little nervous," commented Remus in a concerned voice, walking up to him and pushing his dark hair from his eyes.
"I err...have...question..."
"Oh, is it about that potions essay?" sighed Remus. "I'll let you take a look at mine if you at least attempt the introduction by yourself."
He moved away from the other boy and made his way to his bed, rubbing the back of his head and yawning a small circular yawn.
"Wait, no...that's not it," insisted Sirius, following his friend. "I just..." he moved closer until Remus' socked feet almost touched Sirius' shoes.
"Sirius...what..."
"I just..." Sirius gulped and decided words were not the way to go about it.
He leaned in closer until their noses were millimetres apart. Sirius could see the dark amber flecks in Remus' eyes and a light smattering of freckles that were overshadowed by a large scarring line that snaked its way across the boy's cheek.
He was so close. Sirius could smell the mint from the toothpaste on Remus' breath. Just as he was about to lean in that last little bit the door burst open.
"NO!" yelled Sirius, spinning round and pointing fiercely at a startled looking James Potter. "NO! Out!"
James just gaped, looking remarkably like a goldfish, before turning silently on his heel and leaving the dormitory.
Leaving no time to change his mind, Sirius turned back to Remus and pressed his mouth to the other boy's, tilting his head to get a better angle.
There was a worrying moment for Sirius when Remus froze, lips unresponsive under his, but then thin fingers clutched at Sirius' shirt and his mouth moved hungrily against his. Sirius slid a hand up to cup Remus' cheek and the two boys created a rhythm of slip and slide between their lips.
"Was that...was that okay?" whispered Sirius against Remus' lips.
"I don't know..."
"What-" Sirius began to pull away, something hot bubbling in his chest.
"I think we'd better try again to make sure."
"Oh...okay," nodded Sirius, returning to the soft lips before him.
