Hi! I really feel that Jun is really an underrated character. Many people bash her because she's annoying. But I think that Jun is a very nice character, if you put aside her fangirling over Matt. She's a kind of character that you'll never expect to develop into something more.

Couple: Matt/Jun

Disclaimer: I don't own Digimon.

Jun smiled as she sat in Odabia University's campus garden. Jun fumbled with her pocket and pulled out her green D-Tector. It's been more than two years since Jun became a legendary warrior. In the past she hated the digimon for causing so much pain and hurt to people, even after Davis had explained everything to her. Now, Jun's view on digimon had changed significantly. She's after all a Digidestined. She understood that the digimon were only looking for freedom. But unfortunately listened to the wrong side. Jun heard footsteps approaching her. She turned to her friend, Matt Ishida.

Matt sent her a smile. In the past, Matt would have dreaded meeting Jun, she would constantly fangirl over him. When Jun became a Digidestined, Matt began to see her in a different light. After she got her spirit, Jun began to mature. Everyone was surprised by this, but this was probably due to Jun regaining her past memories. To be honest, Matt preferred the current Jun. She respected others' privacy and views as well as becoming a better friend.

Matt took a seat beside Jun. "Matt, have I changed a lot as a person?" asked Jun, suddenly.

This question surprised Matt. Sure, she had changed. But Matt knew that Jun was referring to her self-change and not due to her regaining past memories. Matt thought hard, and finally thought of the answer.

"Jun, I'm sure you changed not because of your past memories. But it's because you've learnt to understand others and is more willing to listen to others. Maybe your memories played a part in it, but you changing is all your own free will. If you are willing to change, it must be because you truly desire to and not because your memories told you to." said Matt.

Jun cracked a smile. "I suppose, I never thought that I would be a Digidestined, not to mention a human in my next life."

"Life is so unexpected, you never know what would happen next." commented Matt.

"Matt, thanks for listening." said Jun.

"No problem Jun. We Digidestined should help each other out." replied Matt.

"You up for a drink? We can continue our chat together." smiled Jun.

"Why not?" replied Matt.

The two friends smiled and headed to the University Cafe for coffee together.
