One Piece: ASL Pirates

Last time on One Piece: ASL Pirates,

The crew made it into the Grand Line with only a few skirmishes. They eventually landed on Cactus Island at the town of Whiskey Peak. They were greeted with a big party by the town and many of them passed out. However, the town turned out to be a bounty hunters' nest controlled by the mysterious group, Baroque Works.

But not every crewmember was asleep. Sabo, Zoro, and Lotus fought all the bounty hunters and easily beat them. Meanwhile, Nami and the girls were out and about robbing them blind. However, just as their trouble seem to be over, two new members from Baroque Works appeared planning to kill two infiltrators.

What will happen to the crew? Find out… Now!

Protect the Princess!

The ASL crew Splits Up to Deliver Princess Vivi!

We return back to the bright night at Whiskey Peak. Nearly half the crew was watching the members of Baroque Works as they dealt with internal affairs. As mentioned before, new Baroque Works members on the scene, Mr. 5 and Miss Valentine, had arrived to deal with infiltrators in the organization. It was clear that Mr.8 and Miss Wednesday were these infiltrators especially Mr.8 as he fired on the two members.

"Go on, Princess Vivi!" Mr.8, or now Igaram, fired his weapons from his hair. "You have to escape!"

"Igaram!" shouted Miss Wednesday, or now Princess Vivi.

As the two Baroque members stood in the smoke created from the firing and blasts from Igaram, Mr. 5 raised his hand. He then flicked his finger shooting something out. The object in questions sailed through the air and hit Igaram, and exploded. Both Vivi and Mr. 9 were completely surprised by the sudden explosion. As the smoke around him cleared, Igaram fell forward soundly defeated.

"Igaram!" Vivi shouted again worriedly.

Miss Valentine's voice spoke out, "Don't bother." Vivi and Mr. 9 immediately looked up. They both saw Miss Valentine floating high above them using her umbrella. She laughed as she fell downward and tried to kick the princess.

Vivi saw the attack coming and ducked, but he hairband was unfortunately destroyed. She then quickly pulled another Peacock Slasher from a pocket in her shirt at her breasts and attacked Miss Valentine, but missed as the woman seemingly floated away. Miss Valentine then landed next to her partner. Vivi, with her hair now down, glared at the two Baroque Works members attacking them. She spoke angrily, "You monsters."

"You mean you're really a princess, Miss Wednesday?!" Mr. 9 said surprised with his face on the ground and his rear in the air.

Vivi turned to Mr. 9 shouting irritated, "A very busy princess right now, Mr. 9!"

"Okay." Nami said as she turned away from the fighting. "I think we spent enough time here. Let's go, girls."

"I don't want to get mixed up in that business anyway." Jamie said following Nami. She then picked up the still sleeping Suzy. She said to the sleeping girl, "Come one, Suzy. Let's get moving."

Suzy mumbled in her sleep, "The sea monkey took my money…"

"Sure." Jamie said offhandedly as the girls left.

As the girls left, Vivi was still stuck facing two Baroque Works members who easily surpassed her own ranking. As she readied to fight, she saw Igaram move and attempt to get up. All the while saying, "P-Princess Vivi…"

"Oh, Igaram. You're hurt." Vivi said showing great concern for the man.

"Vivi, please!" Igaram said stopping the young princess from coming to help him. "Forget about me! You must get away from here. For our…homeland… Without you, our Alabasta kingdom will be… Please, Princess! You must hurry!"

Mr. 5 replied coolly while picking his nose, "You think you can escape from us? You're mistaken."

Vivi pulled out another Peacock Slasher from her other hidden pocket on her breast. She shouted angrily as she spun her weapons, "Let's see you take me!"

Mr. 5 stared at the girl bored still picking his nose. Vivi was ready to fight, but suddenly someone stepped in front of her. It was Mr. 9 with a metal bat in his hand. He stated to his former partner, "I still don't understand what's going on here. The whole 'princess' thing is confusing, but we've been fighting together for a long time. So get going! I'm going to buy you some time for a head start."

"Thank you, Mr. 9." Vivi said heartfelt.

Mr. 9 chuckled saying, "Pretty manly of me, wouldn't you think? Bye-bye, baby!" Mr. 8 shot forward using his acrobatic skills and flipping towards his opponents. As he did, he shouted, "Now, try my Hot-blooded Bat…"

"No! Mr. 9!" Vivi shouted hoping to stop the man.

Seeing the man slipping towards them, Mr. 5 dug his finger out of his nose with a booger on it. He spoke dully, "All an agent needs is the will to accomplish out missions. Forming such pathetic sense of camaraderie is for the weak. It's time that you learned that. "Nose Fancy…" Mr. 5 then stuck out the hand with the booger on towards Mr. 9.

"…of Guts!" Mr. 9 shouted as he prepared to swing his bat at the man.

"…Cannon!" Mr. 5 said flicking his finger just before Mr. 9 could hit him. The explosion sent the probably former Baroque Works agent flying into the river.

"Oh no! Mr. 9!" Vivi shouted extremely worried.

"Whoa! Did that guy just blow him up with his snot?" Sabo said completely surprised.

"What now?" Lotus said concerned.

"Please!" Sabo suddenly felt hands around his ankle and a weak voice. He looked down to see Igaram, who had crawled all the way other to the group.

Sabo shouted in surprise, "What the hell?!"

"Young man! I have a request, unreasonable it may be, but I need someone of great strength such as yours and your crew!" Igaram shouted quickly and desperately.

"Yeah, right!" Lotus said disrespectfully. "Screw that, Sabo. We don't have to do anything."

"Lotus…" Miko said angrily.

"What is it?" Sabo asked surprising the otherwise despondent Lotus.

"Both of those people have Devil Fruit powers, and there's nothing I can do to stop them!" Igaram stated desperately. "That's why I'm begging you now! Protect Princess Vivi of Alabasta in my place! Please!"

Sabo looked down at the man plain. Miko looked down towards the man feeling sympathetic. Lotus was otherwise feeling bitter about the whole situation. Zoro looked to be equally as stoic as Sabo eyeing the vice-captain to see what he would do. Down the street, Mr. 5 was again digging into his nose with a bored expression. Miss Valentine simply laughed mockingly. Vivi stood by stunned.

Immediately, Vivi took action. With Carue next to her, she quickly climbed on. She told the bird, Carue! Run!" The bird nodded and took off the opposite direction of the two Devil Fruit users. The cat even ran along with her for whatever reason.

Miss Valentine watched amusedly. She stated happily, "Well, off she goes."

"She won't get very far." Mr. 5 said before taking off. "Let's go, Miss Valentine!"

"Right behind you, Mr. 5!" Miss Valentine said before running behind him. Both of them ran pass the group without giving them any thought.

"Surely, you'll be rewarded!" Igaram shouted trying to persuade the pirate. "If you deliver her safely back to Alabasta Kingdom. I'm just a humble servant asking you to do this. Please, protect our princess! I beg you."

Sabo thought over the proposition that the man offered. Understandably, he had not obligation to obey the man having tried to kill him and his crew. However, the man spoke so desperately he couldn't help feel slightly sympathetic towards his cause. Of course, then there was mention on an award. Sabo smirked as he finally made up his decision. He turned to the group and spoke, "Guys, go wake up as many of our crew nearby. Protect the princess."

"What?" said Lotus surprised.

"Really!" Miko said astounded.

"Then, you'll…" Igaram said sounding grateful before being cut off by Sabo sticking his finger out to stop the man.

"Don't get me wrong, I'm still a bit sore from earlier." Sabo stated smiling cunningly. "For now, we'll help keep the princess safe until Luffy, Ace, and I decide what to do afterwards."

"W-What?" Igaram said surprised.

"Fine by me." Zoro said easily accepting Sabo's decision. He then began walking heading in the direction that the Baroque Works members went. Zoro waved over at the guys shouting, "You guys can wake everyone up. I'll go after the princess."

"Good luck, Mr. Zoro!" Miko said happily.

"I can't believe…" Lotus said before going quiet as he took his lumps about agreeing.

Miko rolled her eyes finding Lotus' act silly. She then pulled on her crewmate's arm saying, "Come on! We gotta wake everyone up."

"Fine…" Lotus said following Miko.

"Oh! If you find the girls, tell them the same!" Sabo stated towards his crewmates as the left.

"Got it!" Miko shouted back before turning a corner with Lotus in tow.

"I'm so ashamed…" Sabo looked back has he heard Igaram's weak voice speak up. He looked down at the man as he berated himself. Igaram said, "If only I'd been stronger, I could have protected Princess Vivi like she deserves."

"Hey, don't worry so much." Sabo said before crouching down smiling confidently. "We'll take care of things. The princess will be okay."

"If anything were to happen to Princess Vivi…the kingdom of Alabasta will be…it will be finished. She must live!" Igaram stated determinedly as his eyes began tearing up from his feeling of helplessness.

"Hey." Sabo said looking serious. "Mind filling me in."

Igaram looked up at the man. He nodded saying, "Very well…"

Suddenly, Luffy awoke. Though he was still groggy, he stood up and walked off. He stated out lowly, "Bathroom." He then continued to walk with his still engorged belly shaking with each step he took. He was completely clueless to the situation.

Luffy relieved himself at the river. Once done he stated, "Much better. Now back to the sleep." He then walked off heading back to wherever we had been sleeping last. However, in the corner of his eye, he caught sight of something horrible. All the townspeople were all over the place defeated and bleeding. He immediately shouted, "What the hell happened here?!"

Nami stepped out of an alleyway when she heard Luffy's shout. Immediately she the man by the river. She called out, "Luffy? What are you doing up?"

"Nami!" Luffy shouted looking over at the navigator. "What happened to all the townspeople?! Why are they all hurt?"

"Don't worry, Luffy." Nami stated calmly as she approached the man. "They were all bounty hunters that wanted your bounty. The party and everything was just a ruse for you to drop your guard."

"What? Really!" Luffy said shocked. "But they were so nice."

"Like I said, it was so you would drop your guard." Nami restated clearly. "Luckily, Sabo, Zoro, and Lotus were awake to handle everything."

"Oh, that's good then." Luffy said as he calmed down and smiled. He then began looking around. He asked, "So, where is Sabo?"

"I think he's still over there." Nami said pointing off to the side. She then noticed that Sabo was talking with someone, which made her curious. She asked out loud, "Who's he talking to?"

"Looks like the mayor with the funny hair." Luffy said before chuckling recalling the man's silly hair.

"Come on, Luffy." Nami said pulling the man by his arm. "Let's go see what's going on."

Luffy didn't argue as he followed Nami's lead.

"Run, Carue! Run!"

Away from everyone else, Princess Vivi shouted out to her steed, Carue. The bird ran as fast as its bird legs could take them. Running alongside them, the cat was keeping a good pace determinedly. Vivi then told the bird, "There's a ship docked behind the cactus rocks! We're going to take it and escape from this island! And then we'll go to Alabasta!"

"Hurry, Carue!" Vivi shouted to her friends as they neared the edge of the town. Before they could reach the outskirts one of the buildings exploded. Vivi gasped and pulled on the duck's reigns shouting, "Carue! Stop!" Both then stared into the smoke and saw a figure walking towards them. Immediately, Vivi knew who it was saying, "Oh no. It's Mr. 5! They found us! Hurry Carue, move!" Carue ran down an adjacent street away from the dangerous.

Mr. 5 left the smoke, his partner arrived as well from the sky. She landed on a stake of crates laughing again. Mr. 5 then spoke, "Such pointless struggling. It's kinda cute that she's trying."

As Carue turned a corner, he stopped as someone blocked their path. Vivi called out surprise, "Miss Monday!"

"Go on." Miss Monday said pointing behind her and holding a large log as her weapon. "You can get to the ships through here. I'll stay here and hold them off."

"You sure?" Vivi asked worriedly.

"After losing to that 'Mad Hatter', we're all going to get punished for failing our mission anyway." Miss Monday said as she walked up. She stopped at Vivi smiling determinedly. She spoke, "Plus, if I do this I can go down protecting a friend."

"Miss Monday…" Vivi said touched by her fellow woman's friendship.

"Go on! What're you standing around for?! If you get killed or captured, Mr. 8 and Mr. 9's sacrifices will be for nothing! Get going!"

Vivi looked pained unable to accept Miss Monday's sacrifice. However, she eventually had to accept her friend's sacrifice. She looked away trying to remain strong. She said to the woman, "Thank you." Vivi and Carue then took off making their escape. The cat followed behind her.

Mr. 5 and Miss Valentine stepped forward. Mr. 5 spoke disappointed, "First Mr. 9 defected, and now you… Miss Monday?" Mr. 5 then rolled up his sleeve.

"I am not going to let you pass. I bet my pride on it!" Miss Monday shouted determinedly.

Miss Valentine laughed mockingly. She said, "That's adorable!"

Mr. 5 then took off running towards the muscular woman. He shouted at her, "You are an utter disgrace…" Miss Monday spun the log around her body and then tried to jab at the man. Mr. 5 easily dodged the jab. He then brought his arm up at Miss Monday's neck performing a lariat. He then finished his sentence shouting, "…to Baroque Works!"

As Vivi and Carue dashed away, the young princess heard an explosion behind her. She made Carue stop and turn to see what had happen. To her surprise, Mr. 5 had utterly defeated the strong Miss Monday. Both were surrounded in flames that stretched high into the sky. Vivi was completely devastated speaking softly, "No, Miss Monday…"

"You see, princess…" Mr. 5 said as he walked through the fire unharmed. "I'm a 'bomb man'. I can make any part of my body explode. And thanks to my Bomb-Bomb Fruit power, there hasn't been a single mission I haven't failed to complete."

Vivi glared angrily at the Bomb-man. She then heard a familiar laugh and looked up to see Miss Valentine floating in the air above Miss Monday. The woman spoke grinning viciously, "And thanks to the Kilo-Kilo Fruit power that I possess, I can bury that traitor Miss Monday into the ground forever! I can change how much I weigh whenever I want. Right now I'm light enough to be lifted by the wind! But not it's time to get heavy!"

Suddenly, Miss Valentine began dropping. She spoke in counting, "Five kilograms… Fifty kilograms… a hundred, five-hundred, a thousand! Ten-Thousand Kilogram Press!" Miss Valentine crashed down on the already unconscious Miss Monday. The whole ground around them brought into pieces. As the dust cleared, Miss Valentine stood up completely unharmed. She spoke to the princess amusedly, "Well? Do you really think you can escape us?"

"There's no way you're getting out of here in one piece." Mr. 5 stated coolly.

Vivi was unsure what to say. She was speechless. Witnessing these two members of Baroque Works strength and power, Vivi knew she had no chance of defeating them. She began biting her lower lip in worry. Vivi spoke back to the Baroque Works agents determinedly, "I will survive… I will escape… I will make home to Alabasta Kingdom!"

Suddenly, the cat that had been following her screeched as it charged forward at the agents. Vivi gasped and shouted, "Kaolin! No!"

"Hmm? A cat?" Mr. 5 said confused.

The cat lunged at the two Baroque Works agents. As it flew through the air the cat suddenly began transforming surprising the agents. It became large and even more ferocious. It looked like a cat man. The cat man then tried to slash the two agents shouting, "Wild Slash!"

The two member of Baroque Works jumped back dodging the cat man's slash attack. Both agents were immediately on guard. Mr. 5 commented concerned, "Well, what do we have here? Another spy."

The large cat man stood before the agents growling threateningly. On record, he was wearing a loincloth to cover his unmentionables. The cat man then shouted, "I am Kaolin! Vice-captain of Alabasta Security! You will not harm Princess Vivi!"

"Kaolin!" Vivi shouted again desperately.

"We completely overlooked you, Vice-captain." Mr. 5 said sounding impressed. "We didn't think that Alabasta would send so many important people."

Miss Valentine laughed before speaking, "They must be really desperate."

"I will not let my father's as well as the Vivi's friends' sacrifices be in vain." Kaolin said as he took up fighting stance. "I will defeat you villains here and now."

"Clearly this cat is delusional." Mr. 5 stated.

Kaolin roared as he charged at the agents. Immediately, Miss Valentine jumped up and began floating up into the sky. Mr. 5 stood his ground and swung his leg around to kick the cat man. Instantly, Kaolin pushed himself away from the kick and jumped on the wall of a building. He used his claws to hang onto the building. Mr. 5 rushed after the cat man. He jumped using his bomb powers to launch him at his opponent. Kaolin jumped away as Mr. 5 threw a punch, which exploded that section of the house.

"5,000 Kilo Press!" Miss Valentine shouted as she dropped down quickly. She caught Kaolin in the air. Or so she thought. She was surprised when Kaolin suddenly grabbed her and turned his body. She then crashed into the ground, and Kaolin landed safely away.

"You're much better than your father, son." Mr. 5 commented. He then picked his nose and then held his hand out. He shouted, "But you to protect your princess! Nose Fancy Double Cannon!" Mr. 5 then flicked two bomb boogers towards Vivi.

"No!" Kaolin shouted as jumped in the way of one of the booger bombs. Upon contact, it exploded and engulfed in flames.

"Kaolin!" Vivi shouted.

Unfortunately, he could not get the other one. Luckily, before the booger could reach Vivi, Zoro jumped between the object and the princess. He had spotted the group from the roof and quickly jumped down to protect the princess. He used his sword to cut the booger in two. Both halves flew pass them and landed on behind them exploding. Vivi was shocked to see the man come to her aid.

Vivi shouted, "Mr. Bushido!" She then looked back at the explosion. Not only did it destroy the street, but the rocks that surrounded the path as well. The rocks then collapsed onto the path stunning Vivi. She spoke shocked, "T-The street… That could've been me…"

"So, who's this clown?" Mr. 5 asked annoyed.

Zoro shouted out in disgust, "I just cut someone's snot!"

"Dammit! I don't have time for this! Don't you ever give up?" Vivi shouted as she brought out her Peacock Slasher ready to fight Zoro. She then tried to attack him.

Zoro easily cut the weapon. He then pointed his sword at the girl making her freeze in fright. He then told her serious, "I'm here to help. So just calm down."

"What?" Vivi said shocked. "You're helping me."

"At the moment…" Zoro said as he then pointed his sword out towards his new opponents. Both agents eyed the man curiously.

"Ah, you must be one of the pirates that took down all the lowly employees in this town." Miss Valentine said surely.

"Why would you want to protect the princess of Alabasta?" Mr. 5 asked confused.

"I've been ordered by one of my captains to protect her until we figure something out." Zoro openly stated.

"I see, then we're gonna have to eliminate you." Mr. 5 said coldly.

Miss Valentine laughed before saying, "What a shame."

"Yeah, for you!" Mr. 5 and Miss Valentine turned around as they heard a new voice. Zoro and Vivi did the same. On the other side of the street was Suzy now fully awake and grinning confidently. Suzy then shouted out again, "Because you're easily outnumbered!"

"Hey, Suzy." Zoro said smirking. "Thanks for coming, but I can handle this."

"Too late!" Suzy said cheerfully.

"Huh?" Zoro said confused.

"Well, look at this. Another one who wants to get in our way." Mr. 5 said dully.

Miss Valentine laughed before saying, "It's just one little girl. It'll be too easy to kill her."

Suddenly, someone else entered. Standing on top of house, Ace looked down at the two Baroque Works agent smirking eagerly. He spoke out, "What about me?"

The two agents immediately looked up hearing the new voice. Both of them looked worried as the number of opponents grew. Mr. 5 shouted in angry, "What the hell? There's more of them."

Nix hopped up and crouched next to Ace grinning wildly. He told them before laughing, "Oh, you have no idea."

All around Mr. 5 and Miss Valentine, many of the ASL crew appeared ready to fight. They only ones not seen were the three (Luffy, Sabo, and Nami) with Igaram. They all stood around the layout from on top the buildings to within buildings to in alleys to finally on the street. Mr. 5 and Miss Valentine looked worried as they were completely surrounded by most of the ASL pirates. Vivi was utterly amazed.

"Wow…" Vivi said astonished.

"So, you've got two choices." Ace said smirking confidently. "One, you surrender. Or two, we beat the crap out of both of you. I'm really preferring number two, but I'll be nice since this town did give us free food and drinks. What's your choice?"

"Do you think we're so pitiable that we'll surrender? You are surely mistaken." Mr. 5 said calmly as he and his partner looked ready to fight. "We are Baroque Works officer agents. And we…"

Suddenly, both agents got a knock to their heads. Both were immediately knocked unconscious and then fell forward. Standing behind them was Sabo with his pipe staff out. He grinned and looked up to his brother saying, "Thanks for the distraction, Ace."

Ace frowned crossing his arms disappointed. He grumbled, "Dammit, I really did want to fight them."

"Just be a waste of time." Sabo said overhearing Ace.

"Thank goodness." Usopp said as he fell back on his rear tired. "We didn't have to fight them."

"I can't believe it…" Vivi said stunned by the easy victory. "He just took out two officer agents so easily."

"Yeah, that's Sabo for ya." Luffy said standing on Vivi's right grinning happily.

"And you can have our services as well. For a price." Nami said standing on the Vivi's left smiling greedily.

Vivi was surprised seeing Luffy and Nami next to her, especially since the woman seemed to be trying to make a deal with her. She was completely confused saying, "What?"

"Princess!" Vivi looked right as she heard a familiar voice call out to her. Who she saw was Igaram leaning against a building injured and bleeding. Despite his wounds, he was smiling saying, "Thank goodness you're safe."

"Igaram!" Vivi said as she rushed over to the man worriedly.

"I'm okay, Princess." Igaram stated strongly as he pushed himself off the wall.

"But you're hurt."

"Only my pride as Captain of Alabasta security." Igaram said humorously, but weak. "But where is my son? He was supposed to be guarding you."

"Here, Father." Igaram and Vivi looking down the road. They both saw Kaolin as he was brought over by Ace and Taro. He no longer looked like large cat man. He was now a well-toned and nearly naked man of eighteen with tan skin and sand-blonde hair. The man spoke with a grin, "I did my best, but they were too much."

"Nonsense." Vivi said smiling softly. "You did well, Kay."

Sabo approached the group and spoke smiling, "Princess Vivi. We would like to have a talk with you. All of you."

Igaram sighed, but nodded in agreement. He spoke, "Very well."

"Everyone! Get over here!" Sabo shouted to the crew.

Everyone that was here listened in on the story that the three infiltrators told them. All three were from Sandy Island where the peaceful kingdom of Alabasta resided. Vivi was the princess of the kingdom. Igaram and Kaolin, who were father and son, were part of Alabasta's royal guard. In recent years, there had been civil unrest. Vivi had somehow learned of a plot that would destroy her kingdom created by none other than Baroque Works. This organization, which handled such things like espionage and assassinations, was crime syndicate working towards a single goal; to create an ideal country. Obviously, this was connected to Alabasta as its prime target for takeover. Vivi, Igaram, and Kaolin infiltrated the organization and learned of their goals, but most importantly they discovered the identity of the one.

"You can't know!" shouted Vivi, Igaram, and even Kaolin dissuading and panicky.

The crew was surprised by the sudden panic of the group. Taro asked, "Why?"

"Your lives will be put in danger if you know!" Vivi stated worriedly.

"Yeah, I think we should pass on that." Nami stated taking the girl's advice to heart. "I mean, this guy is trying to take over an entire country. I don't really want someone like that coming after us."

"No, you don't." Kaolin said serious. The young man now had proper clothes on. He had an interesting light-tan tunic shirt and pants with a brown belt wrapped around his mid-section. A brown leathery shoulder pad laid on his left shoulder. He also wore light-tan colored shoes.

"Aw, come on." Luffy said grinning eagerly. "You know you wanna tell us."

"Shut up!" Nami shouted angry.

"Curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back." Drake stated grinning. He too was also interesting in learning the name of Baroque Works' boss.

"You too!" Usopp shouted.

"Look, I don't care how strong you people may be, you'd never stand a chance against one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea. Against Crocodile." Vivi stated being equally as serious as the older men.

"Who, now?" Luffy and Suzy said confused.

"Vivi!" shouted Igaram and Kaolin shocked.

Vivi gasped and covered her mouth. Nami gasped in shock as they all realized that Vivi had let slip the name. Luffy and Suzy were stunned with joy finally getting the name. Everyone else was dumbfounded that she let that information out so easily.

"You just said it." Sabo stated.

"Oh no! She said the name!" Usopp shouted immediately freaking out.

"Calm down." Sanji said calmly. "It's not like anyone knows we know the name."

Usopp calmed down. He smiled agreeing with Sanji assessment. He spoke, "Yeah, Sanji's right. No one here is going to rat us out."

Nix looked up as he heard something. On the building staring down at them was Mr. 13 and Miss Friday. He immediately pointed them out saying, "Who are those guys?"

"M…Mr. 13 and Miss Friday!" shouted the Alabasta trio in shock.

"Eh?" Usopp said surprised.

Instantly, the two flew off most likely to inform the boss that his identity was revealed.

"Wait a minute. Those are the bastards that blew me up!" Lotus shouted angrily. "Where the hell are they going?"

"Probably to inform Crocodile that his secret has been uncovered." Igaram said serious.

"No!" Usopp and Nami shouted in fear

"I'm so sorry." Vivi cried out feeling bad that she had practically sentenced this group to their doom.

"What's a warlord?" Suzy asked confused.

"It's a legally-recognized pirate that no longer has a bounty. In turn, they do things the Government asks of them." Lotus explained to the young girl.

"What? 'Legal pirate'? That sounds stupid." Suzy stated annoyed.

"If I recall…" Jacques said as he thought out loud. "I remember hearing about a Crocodile. I believe he once had a bounty of 80 million Belis."

"Whoa! That's twice that amount Ace's bounty." Jamie said surprised.

"A Warlord, huh?" Ace said grinning with excitement. "Sounds like a good challenge."

"I can't wait!" Luffy said excited. "I wonder what he looks like!"

"I've never meet a Warlord before." Sabo said equally excited as his brothers were.

"No!" Nami shouted despairingly. "We just got into the Grand Line and we're already being hunted by a Warlord. That's too much for me to handle!"

"It's okay." Miko said to Nami as she rubbed the woman's back in comfort. "I'm sure we'll get through this together."

"Wait a minute." Usopp said as he calmed down. "Maybe we're still safe. I mean, it's just an otter and a vulture. Who's gonna know what they're saying.

"They're back." Suzy suddenly said pointing off to the side.

"Eh?" Usopp said confused.

Everyone looked in the direction Suzy pointed out to see Mr. 13 and Miss Friday had returned. The otter was hard at work doodling the faces of everyone. Including Kaolin. When he was done he displayed each one before the crew like a showcase.

"Wow! That's good." Jamie said as she and everyone clapped impressed by the otter's skill.

All except Lotus. The man shot forward with his sword out. He shouted angrily, "I'm going to cut you up, you bastards!"

Immediately, Mr. 13 and Miss Friday took off flying taking all the drawings with them.

"Oh no!" Nami shouted as she quickly realized what happened. "They got our faces! Now there's nowhere to run now!"

"We're doomed!" Usopp shouted frightened.

"I'm really sorry." Vivi apologized again.

"They'll get over it." Zoro stated uncaring.

"Was she planning on going somewhere?" Jamie asked confused.

"Well, looks like that's that." Sabo said before chuckling. "Luffy, Ace, what do you say we help these guys out."

"Sure, fine by me." Luffy said plainly.

"I don't mind." Ace said

"Hold on!" Everyone turned as Nami spoke up sounding angry. She immediately rushed up to the princess glaring at her face to face. She stated sternly, "If we're going to help you. You better be willing to pay."

"Pay?" Vivi asked confused.

"One billion belis." Nami stated sternly. "You've got that much, right?"

"How dare you bully the princess?!" Igaram and Kaolin shouted angrily.

"I-I may have 500,000 belis saved away." Vivi said nervously.

"We'll call it a down payment." Nami stated determinedly.

"Are you finished?" Sabo asked to the navigator dryly.

"Yeah, I approve of this." Nami stated smiling pleased.

"Very well then, let's take the princess and her guard back home." Sabo stated to all the crew.

"Yosh!" shouted the crew in agreement.

"Thank you." Igaram said tearing up as he bowed to the crew in gratitude. "You don't know how much this means to, not only me, but for our kingdom as well. Thank you."

"What's your plan?" Kaolin asked to the crew. "You've got the whole organization not only after you, but after Vivi and us always well. There's no way you all can take on the whole organization."

"Oh, I have a plan" Sabo stated cunningly.

"Whatever your plan is!" Everyone looked over to the side as two people stepped forward. It was Mr. 9 and Miss Monday. Both of them looked heavily injured, especially Miss Monday as she leaned on Mr. 9. The man then shouted again, "We want to help!"

"Mr. 9…" Vivi said surprised and touched.

"Miss Monday." Igaram said equally surprised.

Sabo chuckled as he tip his hat down grinning. He said coolly, "Very well, but don't hate me for whatever happens afterwards."

Soon, all the crew gathered back at the Going Merry. Before sailing, they helped themselves to whatever supplies were left in Whiskey Peak. Among these supplies, the crew gathered up a few new Log Poses. One in particular was given to them by Igaram was an Eternal Pose, which always points to the island that it recognizes. This one pointed to Alabasta. As the crew sailed down the river, each crew was now back on their original boat. And on each one, they had figures cloaked and wearing the same outfits that Vivi had been wearing. Ace had a rather big looking figure on his boat while Luffy and Sabo had there figures roughly the same as what Vivi would look like. As they all exit the river on the other side of the island, Sabo shouted to everyone.

"Alright, everyone! Remember, we're all heading to Alabasta!" Sabo shouted feeling confident. "I'll take the direct route! You know where you're going!"

Nami and Taro nodded smiling as they looked down at their Log Pose. Each needle was pointing a different direction. Ace had one as well, though he didn't seem too concerned about it. And on Sabo's boat, Drake was the obvious choice to have the Log Pose.

"We'll all meet up in Alabasta in week! Until then, keep 'Princess Vivi' alive!" Sabo shouted as his ship began splitting off from Going Merry's portside.

"Good luck, everyone!" Ace shouted as his boat veered away from Going Merry's starboard side.

"See ya!" Luffy shouted waving to his brothers and crew. The Going Merry kept sailing straight.

On board the Intrepid Bounty, Drake looked out towards the open sea. His eyes widen when he spotted another ship heading out to sea. He quickly spoke up, "Sabo! I see the other ship."

"Good luck to them." Sabo said solemnly.

Vivi, on the Straw Hats' ship, looked out to fourth ship. She frowned thinking, 'Please be safe.'

On the fourth boat Miss Monday was now dressed like Vivi. Mr. 9 was steering the ship. Miss Monday looked out towards the ships that were leaving the island.

"Looks like they'll make it safely." Miss Monday commented happily.

"That's right, baby." Mr. 9 said joyfully as he steered the ship. "And with us acting as decoys along with them, Miss Wednesday and Mr. 8 will make it home safely."

"Enough of the codenames." Miss Monday said annoyed. "We're not agents any more. Call me Rosie."

"Okay then, you can call me Arthur."

"But do you think they'll fall for it?" Rosie asked concerned.

"Even if it doesn't, we can at least give them time to escape." Arthur said optimistically. He then looked out at sea and saw something out there. It looked like a turtle wearing a hat smoking a cigar. Arthur spoke up confused, "Huh? A turtle?"

Returning to the crew, in a flash, that fourth ship with the former Mr. 9 and Miss Monday sailed exploded. Everyone caught sight of the huge and bright explosion. All of them gasped in shock. None of them could understand how or why, but they understood one thing.

"They're here!" shouted the whole crew in shock. Immediately, everyone got moving to sail their ships faster.

As she watched the flames and smoke rise, Vivi has heartbroken to see her comrades possibly killed by the explosion. Igaram remained strong as a man of experience and accustom to loss. He gave his comrades a prayer wishing them the best. Kaolin, while never really knowing the two agents, he gave them his respect for giving them a chance.

In the flames, the huge shape of the turtle swam through the flames unharmed. Sitting atop the turtle in a cushy seat, a woman with olive skin and black hair in a skimpy, purple cowgirl outfit and hat looked amused about something. She commented to herself, "To think that they could try to use a decoy."

The woman looked out to see three ships. The woman then frowned seeing the more ships. She stated disappointedly, "Now it's getting annoying. Bunchi. Head for the closest ship."

The turtle nodded his head. He then began kicking his legs heading for Sabo's boat.

As the Sabo's group moved around the ship, Miko took a look back towards the fire. She gasped as she saw the huge turtle come swimming towards them. She immediately shouted out, "Sabo! There's a huge turtle coming our way!"

"What?" Sabo said confused.

"Whoa! So cool!" Suzy shouted amazed.

"Holy shit!" Drake shouted surprised to see the turtle.

The cloaked Vivi, actually Kaolin, turned around to see what everyone was talking about. He gasped as he recognized the turtle and the woman on top. He shouted, "Oh no! That's Miss All-Sunday!"

"All-what now?" Nix said confused.

"Miss All-Sunday. She's partners with the boss, Crocodile. She's the reason we were able to get the information on him."

Sabo, Nix, Suzy, and Drake immediately stepped forward ready to fight the woman. Miss All-Sunday looked at all the fighters amused. She spoke unafraid, "By the sound of that voice, it would appear that you're not the princess. And for the record, I let her know that information. And I was the one that revealed her cover."

Seeing as his disguise was useless, Kaolin disrobed and looked ready to fight. He shouted, "What are you doing here, Miss All-Sunday!"

Miss All-Sunday frowned. She spoke sternly, "I'd really appreciate it you wouldn't point such dangerous objects at me."

Suddenly, Nix and Drake fell over without being touched by the woman or anyone else. Suzy's sword suddenly fell out of her hand surprising the girl. Sabo felt something grab his pipe staff, but the force disappeared.

Miss All-Sunday grunted flinching as if she was hurt. She rubbed her hand saying softly, "That is surprising…"

Sabo raised his brow surprised. He immediately concluded speaking out, "So, you have a Devil Fruit power."

"Perhaps." Miss All-Sunday said cryptically. "Anyway, there's no need to fear. I wasn't sent here to kill you or the princess."

"You're not?" Sabo asked suspiciously.

"No, 'Mad Hatter' Sabo…" Miss All-Sunday said smiling cunningly. Suddenly, a force tossed Sabo's hat off his head. The hat flew all the way to the woman who grabbed it and placed it on top of her own hat. She spoke out amusedly, "I wonder, what are you, 'Straw Hat' Luffy and 'Fire Fist' Ace doing in the same area, and aiding the same person."

"Didn't you hear? We're one big, happy crew." Sabo stated calmly.

"I see, that's interesting." Miss All-Sunday stated still amused.

"If you're not here to kill us, then why are you here?" Kaolin stated suspiciously.

"My own reasons…" Miss All-Sunday stated slyly. "You seem to be heading straight for Alabasta. I wonder if that's a safe path."

"What do you mean?" Sabo asked.

"After all, every member of Baroque works will be aiming to kill you. Wouldn't you think you're outnumbered?"

"Not if we're split up, Miss All-Sunday." Sabo stated cunningly. "Three targets splits the overall manpower needed for just one. You won't be able to handle each one of us."

"Hmm, clever." Miss All-Sunday said impressed.

"Hey!" Miko shouted angry. "Give Sabo back his hat."

Robin eyed the girl curiously. She then chuckled before complying with the girl. She tossed the hat while speaking, "Don't get so touchy."

Sabo grabbed his hat. He told the woman, "Thanks."

Miss All-Sunday then looked out towards the other ships. By this point, they were already far enough away. She again smiled amusedly commenting, "Do you think your other groups will be as safe as you perceive them to be?"

"They can handle anything you or the Grand Line can throw at them." Sabo stated confidently.

"Very well then." Miss All-Sunday said before relaxing back into her chair. "Let's go, Bunchi."

The turtle Bunchi nodded and the turtle took off swimming. The crew and Kaolin watched the woman as she disappeared into the fog that was rolling in. Despite the woman gone, the whole crew was still one edge.

"Sabo…" Miko spoke up sounding worried. "Do you really think everyone will be okay?"

"Yes." Sabo said still retaining his confidence. "I don't know who that woman think she is, but she can't order this ship around. Not while I still breathe. Keep the course, Drake."

"You got it!" Drake stated.

Kaolin frowned. He spoke to the crew, "Thank you, everyone. This means a lot to us."

Sabo grinned stating, "It's no problem, Kaolin. We've already decided to do this, and nothing is gonna change our minds. Now, let's head to Alabasta Kingdom!"

"Right!" said the whole crew equally as determined as their captain.

Three brothers now split up to deliver a princess and her entourage back home. Each one taking a path fraught with danger in its own way. Sabo, taking the quickest path. Luffy, taking a longer route unknowing of what the next island will bring. And Ace, taking an equally long route unaware of what they'll be getting into. Will they make it Alabasta? Or will Baroque Works or forces unknown stop our heroes?

TO BE CONTINUED…

Author's note: Le gasp! Did I just split the crew up? Yes, yes I did.

A few reviews keep asking if I'm going to do the 'Whitebeard' thing, in which they all sail under one flag, but have different adventures. While it does have a lot of potential, I rather keep them together for interaction. Excepting in this case. I had been planning to do this for Alabasta the whole time. And in doing so, I add a new character, Kaolin, son of Igaram and Terracotta. I hope you'll like him.

I gave Mr. 9 and Miss Monday more to the story because why not? They deserve a little more compassion for helping Vivi (despite being blown up). I also official names because they don't really have one. Can you guess how I came up with them?

I would also like to note that I'll be taking a week off from writing this story to compose the next few arcs for Sabo and Ace. Ja Ne!
