Disclaimer: I own nothing

The black car parked a few feet from the cafe, making a strange noise.

Spencer sighed. He should have known it. The car of his uncle, his uncle's old car, could fail at any time.

He exited the car, sighing with resignation, to open the hood and try to solve his mechanical problems.
Spencer was very intelligent, he always had the answer to all kinds of questions.

But he never, ever, had mechanical spirit.

The only reason he had a Scalextric, was because it was a gift from his father. Today, 25 years later, is still in its original box.

Spencer dropped his brown eyes on the welcome sign of that town ...

"Storybrooke? What kind of name is that?" he whispered, his eyebrows raised in disbelief

Spencer shook his head "Just what I needed, talking to myself"

He did not know how he ended up in this strange place. The town was beautiful, but same time, so sinister.

Spencer wanted to go to Boston, Texas and all those places. He wanted to disappear from the BAU, Virginia, Washington even. He wanted to forget those cases that had maddened Gideon, taking a break at work.

However, if fate had wanted him to finish in that town, it would be for some reason. Everything happens for a reason, as always said Penelope.

Spencer smiled before entering this coffee shop, trying to see the bright side of life.

He sat at a table, waiting to be served.

Then he saw her. A woman. But not just any woman .. she was ... THE WOMAN

Spencer felt spellbound, unable to stop looking at her lilting hip movement.

Her dark black hair fell to her waist, her beautiful lips painted in a sexy red.

He watched her, from her red shoes to her green eyes.

She came with a smile, "What do you feel like eating?"

'What do I feel like eating? You'

Spencer thought, but obviously, he did not say it loud...

"Emm... I don't know... coffee"

She tilted her head, writing in her notepad. With a huge smile, the beautiful waitress walked away from him.

"Wait!" Spencer yelled

He saw her turn her head, frowning "yes?"

"I wanted to ask you something ..."

"Ruby" she said, as she approached Spencer

"Ruby" he whispered nervously "Do you know any mechanical workshop nearby? My car has broken down"

She let out a small laugh, before walking back to the kitchen "Sorry, cowboy. You are stuck in Storybrooke"

Everything happens for a reason ... and she was his reason
