Fakir Ending

The angry sound of birds filled every inch of the dim chamber. Rue, her prince and James, fought tirelessly just to keep their footing. At a distance good Corvin his blue eye's seeming to go with rage. He leaded on his sword for support as black spirals of wind danced around him picking up and throwing any object it had the strength to. The sky, ground, and walls appear to be alive and want wanted nothing more than the trio dead.

"How dare you!" Corvin screamed using his power to keep them as far away from him as possible "What right do you have to take away the one thing I desired."

"Ahiru isn't a thing that can be taken!" Rue shouted at Corvin "She a person."

The princesses rewrite Tellier's and to Corvin only made his fury grow, the entire world seemed to warp and bend with the sinister energy of despair.

"Corvin, stop!" Ahiru voice ranged out behind him

"Ahiru." Corvin turned to her his stance pensive.

Ahiru stood with the golden change in necklace hanging from her neck, her expression was one of nervousness and sorrow as she said "Corvin, I'm sorry but I can be your Princess.". She flinched as as Corvin's angry features turned painfully sorrowful.

"What!" He shouted in retaliation though couldn't bear to move any closer to her. "You promised!"

"I know! I thought if I tried that everything would be right, but just can't!" Ahiru

Corvin didn't move however instead his hand moved to his chest as he said "My heart!" Corvin collapsed to his knees his face twisted in pain, he looked up to Ahiru his eyes glistening with tears "Ahiru." He said faintly as his skin began to degrade into a fine dark powder and collapsed to the ground.

He began to breathe heavily as he looked up at her, betrayal twisting his features. Corvin tried to reach up to Ahiru , only for his hand to fall away collapsing into a powdery substacted on the grond. Blinded by his desire to stand up and touch her Corvin was unaware of every second as his body began to dissolve into dust.

"He turned into dust." Ahiru covered her mouth in shock, her eyes began to go with tears at the realization of what her choice had cost her.

James shook his head being unable to see what she had signed the darkness "He didn't have much to cling to on his own anyways." He said trying to comfort her and gripped her shoulder to turn her towards the group.

Rue then gently took her hand and said "Let's find a way out."

Then silently the trio led her to the tunnel from which they entered. They traveled through the blackness about saying a word for some time before a tunnel branched off and emitting a warm golden light.

"James, Rue and I have to go down this tunnel." Mytho said with a finality "Will you be okay finding your way out on your own?"

Ahiru nodded "I should be fine." She said, even though she wasn't completely sure.

The trio each had differing expressions as they stared at Ahiru then relented and turned towards the glowing tunnel.

Leaving her alone.

"Ahiru." A weak voice quashed Ahiru's immediate fears.

She made her way down the main tunnel, though no matter how fast or slow she went it never felt like she went anywhere.

"Ahiru." When she felt like her legs could carry her any farther in other voice called to her forcing herself to keep going.

Faster and faster she went, though there was no light at the end of the tunnel. Then she tripped the fall so sudden that it knocked the wind out of her and she couldn't feel like she could stand up anymore.

"Ahiru." The last voice she couldn't make, it sound to faint and distant to her ears.

"Uh?" Ahiru opened her eye's to see Ente , Pie and Lillie standing over her.

"You ran all the way back under your covers, and took a nap?" Lillie tilted her head looking at her concerned.

Pike laughed and patted her back "I get it's embarrassing having your parents as temporary teachers, but you didn't do that bad."

"My parents?" Ahiru sniffled and tilted her head confused.

-Months later-

"Ahiru!" Tatiana called from up the grassy hill where Ahiru was resting.

Airma echoed his wife's call as he stepped "Ahiru time's time for lunch."

Ahiru set up and said "Coming mom." Brushing off her skirt as she stood up.

Her life was a daze for as long as she could remember, each day she felt more like a girl in the days of princesses and birds seemed so far away.

"Is that over there?" Airma said staring at somebody in a boat approaching them from the lake.

Tatiana narrowed her eyes at the small boat "That's strange, they purposely picked this cottage to not get visitors over the summer." She frowned watching the get out of the boat and head up the hill.

Ahiru stared at the stranger for some time before her eyes went wide "Fakir!" She shouted and began to run down the hill.

She met him halfway on the hill and wrapped her arms around him half crying at the sight of seeing her old friend again "Fakir!" Was all she could manage to say.

Fakir Hunter back tightly and said "Ahiru, there's so much I have to tell you."

"It's okay I think I already know, thank you so much." She said before burying her face in his shoulder.

Looking up Fakir saw Ahiru's parents tearing down at them with great concern "Mr. and Mrs. Arima, I'm Fakir." He managed to say up to them "I'm in love with your daughter."
