Rin's eyes widened as she took in the sight of the large ship slash helicopter...thing. "Whoa..."

Kagome couldn't help but agree with Rin. The so called Hellicarrier was magnificent. Wind picked up around her and swept her hair into her eyes, and out of annoyance, she accepted a hair tie from Rin as she held one out to her. "Where is my son?" She questioned Phil who was pulling his cellphone out.

"Your son is aboard the Hellicarrier, shall we go greet everyone?"

"Who exactly is everyone?" Kagome followed after Phil, not arguing with him about meeting the others, just wondering who else was aboard the air carrier that she had to meet.

"Just a few scientists, they'll be around to help you, and it'll be expected of you to assist them where they need it."

Kagome nodded her head, and silently followed after him as he led her onto the government transportation. They walked for a bit when she felt the familiar feel of Shippou's energy. Taking Rin's hand, she took off in a run with the younger girl keeping up easily beside her. Taking lefts and rights down a mess of halls, she came to a room that was keypad sealed. It opened however, almost immediately as she stepped up to it. Shippou was standing on the other side with a large grin on his face. "Thank Kami!" Kagome's arms wrapped tightly around his waist as he brought his own around her shoulders and held her gently.

"Shippou, Sister Kagome and I were worried...are you okay?!" Rin too was looking him over, checking him for any injuries that may have been caused by these unknown people.

"First off, these guys are all decently weak, they couldn't hurt me if they wanted to. Secondly, I came because they mentioned to me that they know where Sesshoumaru is."

Kagome frowned, turning to look back behind her where Phil was walking in her direction, talking softly on his cellphone as he made his way to her side. Holding his hand out, motioning her inside. "You never mentioned Sesshoumaru."

"..." he paused with his conversation and pulled the phone away from his ear, "I was under instructions, to keep silent about him for as long as possible. We do know where he is, and could easily get in contact with him, however, we are also under strict obligation to keep his whereabouts unknown until after the business with the Tesseract has been dealt with."

"Alright then, new question, who is in charge of this little operation, who is it I'm working for?"

"That would be me, Miss. Higurashi. My name is Nick Fury, you can call me Director Fury."

Kagome watched a man step out from around the corner of the room Shippou had been in. A black gentleman with an eyepatch, dressed in black leather and a trench coat. He held out a file and Kagome, who was giving him a cold, and semi-untrusting look, took the file before stepping inside and sitting down at a large table where there were a few chairs set out around it. He joined her at the table across from her, and Shippou guided Rin in and led her to a seat while he stood behind Kagome. "This is the tesseract. Yes?"

"You are correct."

"It looks harmless enough, though that could be said for many things, it shouldn't surprise me if the balance of the world was really dependent on who has this rubix cube."

"I wouldn't call that a Rubix Cube, Miss. Higurashi, it's far more dangerous than a cube puzzle."

Kagome nodded, "I can read, Director Fury...I can do so quite well, actually. My question, isn't what it can do, it's why you dug it up at all. This was left buried for a reason, and digging it up, you are looking for a war...and I have no doubt you'll get one."

He stood tall, "is that a threat?"

Shippou moved forward, "my mother has no involvement with whoever you start your wars with. She's merely giving you the facts, that you should have left this at the bottom of the sea."

"You knew it was at the bottom of the sea?" Fury countered quickly, drawing up a hundred different conclusions with that singular statement.

Rin nervously moved closer to her sister, trying to stay invisible to the intimidating man across from them. Kagome didn't seem fazed by the man, she was reading the file and ignoring him for the most part.

"You must be a fool, the smell of salt water is permanently stained in the pigments of Radiation that have leaked off of the Tesseract. You have it on you, just enough that I can smell it." Shippou sat down beside Kagome in the empty chair beside her. "The fact that you are playing around with an inhuman tool that's leaking off Gamma Radiation, it shows your intellect...or lack thereof."

"Your boy is pushing it," Fury said stonily.

Kagome turned a page in the file, vaguely paying attention to the arguing that was taking place around her. When she put the file down, she sighed and glanced up at Fury. "I can't argue with common sense, you brought out a weapon of mass destruction, easily, this weapon could wipe out the human race, and then...not only did you start messing around with it, you also lost it...so, I'm curious...who took it?"

"Why do you think it's been taken?"

Kagome laughed, "I'm here...you don't need me to help you figure out what the Tesseract is or can do. You want me to find it, because...? You can finish the statement however you wish, I don't need to hear it to know what happened."

"..."

"Sir," Phil raised his hand with a cellphone held in it, "he's here."

"..." Fury gave a nod, "show Miss. Higurashi and her family to their room, and then, give them a tour of the ship and the office she'll be working in with the others."

"Understood," Phil stepped aside as Fury left, looking at Kagome, he cleared his throat in a manner of covering his nerves, the woman was making him nervous for sure, but he really didn't want her to know that. "This way,"

Kagome stood, 'I guess this is to be my next adventure? A war may be brewing, but I feel like that isn't the only danger to come...there is something else...something...or someone...more dangerous.'
