JAYDEN'S P.O.V.

"Go go Samurai!" I yelled along with the rest of my rangers. Entering in my symbol, I transformed into the red ranger! Armed for battle, we charged at Serrator with a vengeance.

"Spin Sword! Lion's Fury!" I shouted. My sword suddenly turned into a flaming hot weapon, ready to burn the closest Nighlock. Aiming it at Serrator, I sliced through him as easily as I would a piece of cake.

"Ha! You think that can stop me red ranger?" Serrator growled, just before he sent me flying into the back wall. I felt blood on the back of my neck, there were black spots on my vision. I couldn't see anything.

"Jayden!" The last thing I heard was Emily's voice calling out my name before I demorphed and was knocked out cold.

EMILY'S P.O.V.

"Jayden!" I yelled and ran over to him. He was bleeding badly on the back of his head, and he was unconscious. He needed help. Fast.

"Guys! Keep fighting! I need to get Jayden back to the dojo!" I called to the others. They nodded at me before resuming their fight against the vicious beast.

"Ape Folding Zord!" I shouted. My zord transformed and I took Jayden and leapt onto his back.

"Go to the dojo!" I commanded it, and we took off at a fast gallop. I put Jayden's head in my lap, not caring if blood got on my uniform.

"Hold on, Jayden. Just hold on."

Soon I could see the dojo beyond, and I scrambled down awkwardly, trying to keep Jayden from crashing to the ground. After demorphing, I told my zord,

"Thank you!" I called up to my zord, and it shrunk and placed itself back around my neck.

"Mentor Ji! Mentor Ji! Help! Jayden needs help!" I yelled out as loud as I could. We were in the training yard, but I sincerely hoped that he could hear me.

"Emily! What is it?" He said and raced over to me and Jayden. "What's happened?"

"We were fighting Serrator, and Jayden got hurt badly. He needs help now!" I was close to tears. I couldn't lose Jayden.

"Help me get him into the infirmary. I can heal him there." I nodded at Ji, and we carried him onto a bed. He still wasn't even stirring a bit.

"Get me that alcohol and those bandages. Hurry, Emily!" I ran over and got the supplies that he asked for. He dabbed alcohol quickly on Jayden's head and bandaged it up. Then, strangely, he poured a weird green liquid down Jayden's throat.

"Ji, what is that?" I asked.

"It's a healing serum. It will remove any base poison that might have been in Serrator's strike. It will also reduce the chances of serious lasting damage from his head injury." I nodded. That made sense that Ji would think of that. That was why he was our Mentor.

"The only thing we can do now is rest and wait, Emily. Rest and wait." Ji put his hand on my shoulder as a sign of comfort, before leaving me alone with Jayden.

"Oh, Jayden, how could I let this happen to you?" Finally, the tears came as I kneeled down beside Jayden and looked at his sleeping form. Putting my face in my hands, I cried and I couldn't seem to stop.
