Symmetrical Love

This is a series of drabbles about Liz and Kid and their relationship. Each Drabble will bounce back and forward through their relationship. Updated when I get an idea.

Chapter 79: Wedding

It was happening. The day I knew was gonna happen, sometimes I didn't think it would. Big Sis Liz and Kiddo are getting married. Everyone is all dressed up and looking nice.

I hope everything goes right, I've never actually been to a wedding. I've just seen them in movies and TV shows, and it looks like half of them have something crazy happen.

I guess I wasn't really sure what to expected, I just knew that it was supposed to be a happy thing. People getting together and having a party.

Liz looks happy, that's a smile I've never seen on her, I've never seen on anyone. She looks happy, I don't know how else to put it. I've never seen her that happy. Kid has a similar smile, but he's still a bit of a nervous wreck, but every moment he keeps looking at Liz he seems more clam and happier.

As they stand up in front of everyone… I don't know, they look like this is right. Like they have been waiting, like this is what they were meant to get. I don't know, it just seems right.

They have this, they have this moment and this whole thing.

I guess this is what they call love, they just look so happy together. Kid dressed up in that fancy tux and Liz is wearing that beautiful dress. That dress is probably worth more money than we ever saw when we lived on the streets.

It feels good knowing we have the money to spend on this.

Oh! It's that question.

"I do." Kid says as he holds Liz's hand.

I can't help but smile at that too.

"I do!" Liz replies to her own question, I really should be paying more attention to this.

Liz is smiling so much, she's actually crying, she's that happy. I never got that, why people cry when they are happy.

They hold each other as they kiss and every cheers and claps for them.

I'm happy, I really am. I mean Kid has been like this brother to me for a long while now and now he really is my brother.

I just want to run up to them and give them a hug, but no this is their moment. Yeah, there is gonna be a lot of moments in the future where it's just them. It's okay there are going to be a lot of moment that I'll get to share with them.

And then there are those babies, Liz is already preggers so I'll get a cute niece or nephew coming soon. My family growing, and I love it.

Love is a good thing,

They're better and happier because of it. I'm happier because of it too.

I should get the cake before people start to go for it, not like anyone will notice if I get some cake now they're all watching sis and Kiddo make out.

Author's Notes: Okay, here is the final entry for this years Kidliz week. A little look at Kid and Liz's wedding from Patty's point of view. I don't do a lot of point of view stuff and I liked the idea of doing it from Patty's view. What did you guys think? Good job? Did I get her voice, please let me know.
