Amanda stepped out of the apartment building and tightened her jacket against her body. Taking in the same air now as she did hours before was more satisfying.

Once she was back at her place, she jumped in the shower to rinse off any remaining evidence that might suggest she was anywhere else but home that night.

Walking into the squad room the next day, Amanda noticed Olivia wasn't at her desk. Throwing her jacket over her chair, she casually asked. "Benson get in yet?"

"Yeah, but she left shortly after I got here." Fin responded. "She wanted to get to the hospital early to talk to the victim."

"Right." Rollins nodded, shifting in her seat. She nearly forgot the other detective was trying to get the statement again today.

A few hours of busy work later, Olivia entered the squad room. Captain Cragen came out of his office and approached the detective.

"How'd you make out?"

"She still can't speak, but..." Olivia held up a notepad. "I think she made her intentions clear."

"Go Away." Fin read off of the notepad.

"You were there for hours and you only got two words?" Cragen asked.

"I talked to some of the doctors."Benson threw the pad on her desk. "They said she's doing worse since yesterday. How'd she seem when you were there?"

"Pretty shaken up." Rollins smiled inwardly at the truthfulness of her response. "Like I said, I don't think we're going to get her to talk, even after she's healed."

"You're probably right." the Captain sighed. "Mark her case as closed, archive it, and move on. We can't help those that don't want us to."

Olivia let out a displeased sigh as she sat down at her desk. Amanda watched the other detective intently. This woman was living up to her reputation when it came to her need for justice. Part of Amanda was starting to feel guilty, but she shook it off. There wasn't any sense in starting feelings for her co-workers. After all, they were unknowingly trying to hunt her down.

The next day, Rollins came into the squad room to see a large stack of manila folders on her desk, as well as the other detectives.

"Great." she grumbled, a little louder than she intended. Olivia glanced up from her desk to Amanda. Walking over to her area, she attempted small talk. "I don't know which is worse, all these cases that the vic doesn't want to pursue charges or that this is just those cases."

"They are all the same." Olivia looked back to her paperwork. "They're all 'worse'."

"Yeah..." Amanda agreed quietly. Thinking that she may have struck the wrong nerve with the other detective, she changed the subject. "Fin out on a case or-" Rollins dropped her sentence when Benson stood up quickly with one of the folders and went into the Captains office.

"No, just went for some grub." Fin spoke from behind Amanda, startling her. "Chill, I got some for you, too." he handed her a paper bag and a coffee.

"Fin, Rollins." the Captain called from his office. The detectives shared a glance to each other before joining Cragen and Benson.

"Liv thinks she found another rape case." he spoke lowly.

Fin arched his eyebrow. "You brought us in here for that?"

"Another one like two days before." Cragen specified.

"What do you mean?" Rollins tried to sound natural.

"On the same day we were looking into the active rape case, I found one that was similar." Benson added.

"Liv brought it to my attention, but it didn't seem close enough to investigate further." Cragen leaned back in his chair. "The woman we interviewed was blonde, the other was a brunette. They had no relation to one another, other than their... unfortunate experience."

"Then today, I found yet another woman who was restrained to the bed, raped, and found in her apartment unconscious." Benson handed the file over to Fin. "If it wasn't for the fact that she lead a very strict schedule, her co-worker would have never checked on her. She could have been left there for days."

"Are you really sure these three are related?" Fin asked, passing the folder to Amanda. "They don't even live close to each other."

"There's still a chance this could be a serial rapist." Olivia looked to Cragen. "We've had these three cases in five days. With those piles out there, there could be more."

"Two of the three didn't want to press any charges." Cragen frowned. "And now that the third one dropped hers... I hate to say this, but we have no reason to push forward."

"Captain..." Benson pleaded with her desperate eyes. "There could be more."

"I'm sorry, Liv." Cragen shrugged. "I wish there was something we could do, but until one of them wants to-"

"Cap?" Amanda stood up, getting Cragen's attention. "I'd like to suggest something."

"Go ahead."

"If Liv is right, and this is a serial rapist we are dealing with, we cant wait until there is more."

The Captain pinched his nose and sighed. "I already said-"

"All I'm asking is that you'll allow an investigation." Rollins turned toward Benson. "Liv and I can get a case together, and in the event there are more victims, we wont be so far behind on proving it."

Olivia's eyes flickered with hope as she looked to the Captain for an answer. Cragen narrowed his eyes and thought for a moment. "As long as it doesn't prevent you from handling other current cases and back work."

"I can take over a chunk of the closed case files." Fin offered. "Lighten up the load for them a bit."

"Fine." the Captain agreed. "Check back with me periodically."

"Sure thing, Cap." Benson smiled to Cragen and then to Rollins.

Once outside the office, Olivia rolled a white board over to one of the larger tables. Amanda watched intently as the other detective set up a work station for the two of them… to catch her.

By joining in the manhunt, Rollins was able to stay up to date with the progress Olivia was making, and at times, she would even be at the crime scene collecting evidence on her own. This plan was either incredibly stupid, or pure genius.

Amanda didn't realize she was staring, let alone grinning, until she heard someone knocking on glass. Looking further to her left, she saw Cragen point at her and then to her desk. Shaking her thoughts away, she sat down and opened one of the folders.

When it came time for everyone to go home, Olivia was still hard at work putting up charts and pictures from the crime scenes. Rollins heard Fin ask for drinks again, but no one responded, so he left. Grabbing her coat, Amanda stood up to put it on and follow him.

"Did you find any other cases that could be related?" Benson asked, walking up close to Rollins. Her pupils dilated quickly when she caught Olivia's scent. Breathing in slowly, she shook her head. "I guess that's good, in a way…" Benson looked over to the white board. Amanda's gaze narrowed to the tense muscles in Olivia's neck. Her heart pounded along with the other woman's visible pulse. "Well, see you tomorrow." Olivia walked away, snapping Amanda out of her trance.

"Yeah." she managed to say before turning to the exit.

Once Rollins was outside, she could feel her hands shaking. Being that close to Olivia didn't bother her before, but now it's driving her body insane, almost as if she was forming a crush on the woman. She used to only view Benson as the attractive senior detective with a caring, yet badass, reputation. But now, she's feeling sensations that could pose a problem if they get any more intense.

Luckily, Rollins quickly thought of a way she could release some of her built up desires. Taking no more than a minute to think, she knew which bar she would go to. Across town, there was a gay club hosting a ladies night. If she hadn't walked the woman from that area home a few days before, she wouldn't have seen the flyer for it. Usually, Amanda stuck to bars with just enough people to blend in with, but tonight she had a specific desire. Tonight, she needed plenty of options.

It didn't take Rollins more than fifteen minutes to spot the woman she would let take her home. Tipping the bartender, she took her whiskey and began walking toward the brunette, but quickly turned around when the other woman's friends gathered.

Frustrated, Amanda shrugged off the loss, walking to another open section of the bar and taking a seat. Not even ten minutes later, Rollins felt someone tapping her on her shoulder. Glancing around, she was pleased to see the same brunette from earlier. Amanda nodded to the seat next to her, gesturing the other woman to join her.

"I think I saw you earlier." the brunette said over the music.

"You think you did?" Rollins smiled, eyeing the other woman, who was now blushing.

"Actually, I've been looking for you." she confessed. "Why'd you turn around?"

"I'm not into groups." Amanda replied, taking another sip of her whiskey.

"So you're at a club?" the brunette joked.

Locking eyes with her new companion, Rollins smirked. "I meant back at your place."

The other woman bit her lip, leaning in to Amanda's ear. "It's a one bedroom." she whispered, her hot breath sending chills down Amanda's spine. Backing away, the brunette got up and started for the exit. Rollins arched her eyebrow, finished her drink, and followed the other woman out of the club.

They didn't make it very far into the brunette's apartment before they were intertwined with each other. Amanda pushed the woman up against the wall in the bedroom, but was quickly thrown against it herself. Breaking contact, she looked at the brunette. She wasn't used to being dominated, and she wasn't going to start now.

Grabbing the woman's legs under her ass, Rollins picked her up and threw her on the bed. The brunette's eyes flashed with a sudden surge of excitement.

"You sure like it rough." she chuckled, scooting back on the bed. Amanda grabbed the woman's ankles and pulled her down to the foot of the bed again.

The brunette leaned up to kiss Amanda, but Amanda brought her hand up, open face, and across the other woman's cheek. Letting out a gasp and covering her face, the brunette turned toward Rollins. Her hair was ruffled, and her eyes narrowed to Amanda's.

Rollins took in the beautiful sight of the woman before her. She was easily the most stunning lady in the club that night, and she was everything Rollins desired. Her skin tone, her height, her perky breasts, the color of her eyes, the feminine button down ending where the perfect pair of tight dress pants began. The only thing missing was a badge and a gun.

Out of the corner of her eye, Amanda saw the other woman about to slap her back. Snapping her arm up, Rollins managed to intercept the brunettes hand.

"You should know better than to hit a detective." she said in a husky voice.

"You should know better than to hit a lady." the woman returned.

"You're no lady." Rollins smirked as she shook her head. "Not when I'm done with you."

The brunette bit her lip seductively as she allowed Amanda to cuff her to the bed post. Wiggling her hips around, the woman pleaded to "the detective" to investigate her "situation".

"Oh, I will." Amanda's mouth slowly turned into a devilish grin and her eyes darkened. "In about a day or two."
