Wow! It's been awhile (: But here's an update believe it or not!

The sun shone brightly overhead as I made my way down the streets to my preferred spot of rest, The Maid Latte. I had some ideas in mind and was pondering them as I stepped into the café and was promptly greeted by Misa.

"Welcome home oni-chan!" She stuttered, looking quite red in the face. I smirked and laughed slightly.

"Uh, Misa…" I said as she guided me to my usual table, quite obviously none too pleased I had arrived.

"Would oni-chan like me to run and get him something?" She muttered, glancing over to the hall that led to the back-room and kitchen area where the boss and other workers were staring from in admiration.

"My usual." I said, suppressing the urge to laugh at her intense efforts to be cute even when she was already cute enough to play the little sister role. She huffed and took off toward the kitchen and came back with the usual. "This is wrong." I stated plainly. "The texture is too rough."

"I assure oni-chan that it is exactly the same." She said with a forced smile however I could sense the agitation. I pressed on.

"No, no this will not do. The flavor… it's… different. You made it wrong." I pressed on, wanting her to break the nonsense and just act calmly.

"It's not wrong!" She near shouted, earning her glares from one of her co-workers and stares from around the café.

"I'm going to leave." I got up and put my coat over my arm and pushed in my chair and walked to the door when I heard a small sigh.

"Oniii-chan… I'm… I'm sorry. I'll remake it." She stammered, blood flooding her cheeks. She grabbed my arm and looked at me with big eyes. "Please don't leave oni-chan." At that time I could hear the boss in the boss in the back freaking out about flowers of moe or something.

"Alright…" I sighed and went back to the table and all returned to seemingly normal.

After I had finished and the cafe was near closing, I went around back to find Misa hauling out the garbage. I went over and helped her she sighed a note of thanks.

"You know, you probably shouldn't work yourself too hard Misa. You're looking worn out." I looked at her with genuine concern. Her cheeks held color but the rest of her face was white.

"I suppose, but we need the money." She looked at me and shrugged. "Anyways why would you care?"

"Well… If you're to be my personal maid for a day I don't want you to not be in tip top shape." I turned her to face me. "You do still owe me a day of you to myself." I said slightly quieter. She pulled herself away.

"Yeah, well I have work to do. That won't come for a while." She glared at me. "And besides, you have any other girl at our school that would be perfectly willing to be your maid for a day."

"But they aren't you." I stated a-matter-of-factly. "I don't want just any girl going to a carnival with me in a couple of days for instance." I held up two tickets to the fair.

"The fair?" She sighed. "Fine."
