Moving

Hey everyone, just the normal disclaimer... I don't own anything about this series, I just love it.

Maddy's POV

"Maddy, must you insist on littering the floor with your... em..."

Rhydian was leaning, looking maddeningly smug, against the door frame of the bathroom, dangling my bra by the strap from his middle finger. My eyes widened and jaw dropped - it probably looked incredibly comical to him. I pulled the towel tighter around myself, highly conscious of my hair dripping a pool on the floor and the fact that I still looked like a boiled lobster after the too hot shower.

"Is that mine?" I asked through gritted teeth, feeling my heart begin to pound.

"Well," Rhydian chuckled, "it certainly isn't mine. Although, do you think this is my colour? I think I could pull it off." He held it up to his skin and tilted his head mockingly, raising his eyebrows waiting for a response.

"If it's not yours, don't touch," I growled, advancing on him with an air of menace. Although the image was probably a little spoiled by the fact I was only in a towel.

"It was rather hard to avoid if I'm honest... just lying discarded on the floor like that. You really need to learn to tidy after yourself Mads." He shot me a devastating smirk.

"Give-it-back," I snarled, snatching at the bra dangling from his finger, mirroring his movements backwards to avoid my grasping hands; he just laughed, darting out of reach, forcing me to chase him into the hallway.

Rhydian ensured it was always tauntingly out of my reach. "Careful Maddy," he warned with a twinkle in his eyes, "you wouldn't want to tear it - blue lace, I'm really rather shocked. Wouldn't have taken you for someone who was concerned about their underwear."

I stepped away, clinging to the towel with immovable dignity. "Fine - if you're that enamored of it, keep it." I turned away and forced myself to walk at a steady pace down the hall, nose in the air.

"And what am I meant to tell your parents if they find it in my room?" Rhydian had the good grace to sound mildly panicked at the notion - his footsteps resounded down the hall after me.

My hand rested on the door handle into my room as I turned and smiled sweetly. "Just say it was a gift," I smirked, raising my eyebrows cheekily before slipping through the door and closing it in his shocked face.
