Sachiko: Corpse Party belongs to Team GrisGris

Satoshi: We hope you enjoy the chapter.

How to Change a Mind

Seiko felt tears fall down her face after she had finished telling both Yoshiki and Ayumi what she had witnessed. Yoshiki's rage was bubbling over having lost the one teacher who gave a damn about him. He didn't really care about the other teachers but Ms. Yui had helped him since he joined class 2-9 and helped him pull his school life together. With the additional classes done during the day, Yoshiki would catch up to the other children in his year without changing his behaviour much. It did calm down after a while staying with Ms. Yui as she helped him catch up and often got to see a side no other adult saw. The way how he really felt inside the hard 'delinquent armour' he had. How much struggle he had endured to get to where he was now and how little interest in school he really had without the support of his parents and worked just to stay as healthy as possible. Ayumi shook her head.

"We have to escape from here...before someone else gets killed," she said bluntly.

"What's the point of leaving here? I'm just a soul here...I don't have any is-" Yoshiki started before Ayumi gave him a stern look, that put him back in his place as he fell silent. He knew that she wanted him to get out of here but with what was happening now...was there any point in leaving? They all had lost their home room teacher and three other students so Yoshiki really didn't see a light encouraging him to keep living.

"Yoshiki, I promised to your sister and myself that I'll get you out of here!" Ayumi yelled at him once more. She had a secret feeling that yelling at him was going to be the only way to get the answer in his head. It worked most times before although it probably left some people to become uncomfortable having to yell at the teen before he got the message they were trying to give him or to persuade him with.

"But...the chance that the two minds of the body and soul joining will cause a lot of stress on me...You forget that my body's mainly been serving Sachiko so has been mainly killing and as Shinohara said, devouring the body in order to maintain the nutrients and hydration levels. Without that, my body will fail to function as Sachiko wants it too. Unlike Yoshikazu who's already dead my body's still alive," Yoshiki said, Seiko and Ayumi both nodded in agreement.

"Kishinuma, can I ask you something?" Ayumi asked Yoshiki.

"Go on?" Yoshiki's spirit walked towards her.

"You're acting smart..." Ayumi commented.

"Maybe Kishinuma's been hiding it?" Seiko asked with the cat-like smile on her face. That statement only raised more questions in Ayumi's mind; if he was really smart...why hide it away? Was it something to be ashamed of? She was going to ask him later about it. That was when they found the rest of the group. At least Yoshiki wasn't dead, that would be the last of her worries. They just needed to get his body back, but the soul back into the body and then get out of there as quick as possible.

We'll Save You! – How to Change a Mind

Kizami and Kurosaki walked around the school, even though Naomi and Satoshi had stopped throwing insults at each other, there was tension still in the air and it was starting to drive Kizami up the wall. Kurosaki (knowing how easy it was for Kizami to snap) decided that they would try and find anything about what's going on and how they could get out of the school. Sachiko was somewhere in the school with Yoshiki's body and they were going to help get it back from her. Kizami seemed determined to do so and there wasn't any change in Kizami's mind.

"You know...the school hasn't done much on you," Kurosaki commented.

"It tried," Kizami's reply came bluntly. Kurosaki mentally sighed. Kizami could be hard to work with if you didn't know how well he functioned. If you didn't know Kizami's thinking patterns then he would easily drive people away. Kurosaki wanted to do so many times in the past; he stopped because he knew that Kizami needed someone to talk to, even if he didn't understand how he felt. Kurosaki wondered how they were going to react with each other after they left here together...if they left together. "Kurosaki, I'm going to ask you a question."

"Go on?" Kurosaki questioned his friend.

"You are aware that I killed our friends...right?" With that, Kurosaki froze. He wasn't sure if he should be mad at Kizami? Or upset with him? Or should he have been expecting what Kizami had done? He shook his head, there's no point in getting upset with him. It was in the past and there wasn't anything that could be changed. It was possible that the school had the effect on him and drove him crazy, causing him to kill everyone...but then it didn't have to be the school to drive Kizami crazy, he was already classed as 'crazy' from the day he was born.

"When I saw the bodies...You were my first suspect." A smile grew on Kizami's face. He looked over his shoulder at his friend.

"Yet you still hang out with me now?" He questioned him.

"Yeah, I'm your friend. The only friend you've got left and who knows your thinking patterns. Once I figured out that, you weren't so hard to hang around with. Things you did, the actions you took, and it made sense. What you don't have working properly in your mind, I've got. Remember when we were kids? You asked me why some things didn't make sense to you? Like life?" Kurosaki smiled and asked Kizami.

"Yes?"

"I explained but you still didn't get it?"

"Yes?"

"You will never understand what people feel, how the world moral works and anything else you don't understand now...but that's okay. With me by your side, we'll get through life together. If we make it out...That is," Kurosaki gave Kizami an encouraging smile as well as doing a thumb up symbol. Kizami gave a small nod in acknowledgement to his actions before he turned back to face where he was walking, slowing down when he heard the floorboards creak under his weight.

"We need to slow down; the floorboards are starting to creak. I don't know when they will give way to mine or your weight."

We'll Save You! – How to Change a Mind

"Hey, look who I brought," Ayumi smiled as she pushed open the door leading to the classroom. Everyone turned their heads towards the sound of the voice and hope started to fill the room. Satoshi's eyes brightened seeing Ayumi was safe and sound. Naomi smiled and ran over to throw her arms around the Class Rep, pulling the shorter female into her hug. Ayumi struggled slightly in her grip as Yoshiki behind her, turned to look away.

"You're okay? Sachiko didn't find you or anything?" Satoshi quickly questioned Ayumi, Yoshiki just walked around the three students and looked around to see Yuka, a small smile on his face made Yuka's eyes widen.

"Kishinuma-kun~" Yuka sang happily as she ran over to Yoshiki and stops in front of him.

"How have you been?" Yoshiki asked her with a smile on his face. Satoshi watched how Yoshiki and Yuka interacted with each other; it wasn't something which could easily be replaced, no matter who it was. There was something that only Yoshiki and Yuki shared. Satoshi smiled seeing Yuka getting on with his best friend, someone he was nearly called a brother. Yuka's face gave off a happy glow, something Satoshi hadn't seen in a while.

"I've been doing well since you saved me," Yuka smiled.

"That's good to hear, Kizami hasn't returned back to his previous ways?" Yuka shook her head, Kizami hasn't done anything and mainly stayed with Kurosaki, he was away with Kurosaki right now, probably looking for something which could help them escape. It wasn't unusual for something like that to be searched for.

"Do you...erm...think we can...all leave...with you...Kishi?" Yuka asked the blond haired spirit.

"Yuka, I don't care what happens to me, as long as you and the others are safe from Sachiko, that's all I want."

"No, you're going to come back with us!" Ayumi snapped at Yoshiki. The room fell into silence as everyone looked at Yoshiki, Ayumi hated him in the past for being such a delinquent and not giving a damn about the school rules and stuff like that. Now she started to give a damn about the delinquent which was something that Yoshiki could smile about. To him that made a difference in how he felt. Now that Ayumi wanted him back and alive, he needed to make such a big effort in order to achieve what she had wanted.

"Why?" Yoshiki asked her, wanting to hear her want him more and more as the time passed in the cursed halls of the school. Ayumi looked ready to blow a fuse.

"Because I lo-" She stopped. Her face became red with embarrassment and the whole room turned to see her. The young class rep froze in shock seeing what she managed to stop herself from saying. She knew that Yoshiki was going to tease her about her feelings for him. She knew that Satoshi wasn't going to be available to her for long and how Yoshiki treated her through this school and then she shoved it back in his direction...she was in the wrong. Yoshiki had protected her for such a long time and all she saw was his feelings for her while she wanted Satoshi. Naomi had Satoshi and everyone knew and saw that. Why didn't she? Was she so blinded that she didn't see who really was so important to her that she nearly ruined the only chance she had? He was standing next to Yuka as a spirit. A pale blue spectre of her friend...someone who's body was lost to Sachiko because of her. Guilt was building up inside of her for all the events which played out for the blond haired male. She helped him...she helped him become the man who he was now...and she was the one who was the bully to him. Always yelling at him when he only wanted what he couldn't have because of her selfishness. She shook her head before she felt a pale blue hand caress her cheek, causing the teen to look up into the eyes of the ghost.

"Shinozaki, we'll escape here. All who remain will escape here together. I'll get my body back and go through the pain of the two different minds merging," Yoshiki told her gently.

"Onii-chan, do you have a plan?" Miki asked her brother. Yoshiki looked at his younger sister. Glad to see that she was doing such a good job at remaining calm, she was scared, they all were. She was a Kishinuma, just like him and that was what made the difference.

"I'm linked to my body; I know where it is so I'll just follow that back and we'll find Sachiko too."

"Sounds like a plan."

"Right, everyone got their pieces of Sachiko ever after?" Miki frantically searched her body for any scrap piece of paper. She remembered touching a scrap piece of paper when she entered Kisaragi academy but now she couldn't find it when she needed it the most. "Has anyone got a spare scarp from anyone else?" Yoshiki asked quickly, seeing Miki starting to panic. Naomi shot up her hand.

"I have...Seiko's part," she forced back a sob; Miki quickly ran over towards Naomi and was handed the paper scrap.

"Where are Kizami and Kurosaki?"

"They went looking for something," Satoshi spoke.

We'll Save You – How to Change a Mind

"What are we looking for anyway?" Kurosaki asked while the two of them explored the school more. Kizami couldn't really care less and was just exploring more to see how many victims were trapped inside the cursed land. Most of him wanted to see Yoshiki's soulless body being controlled by Sachiko but with Kurosaki with him...he wanted to keep his 'friend' alive for longer. He was the only one who put up with him while knowing his true nature so keeping him alive was more important than letting him go. Being understood by one person was enough for him, if others started to understand how he worked, he could just kill them off. Kurosaki...he's weird and different. Something Kizami found interesting in the male walking behind him.

"Still walking together I see~" A dark, empty laugh echoed around the corridor. It wasn't Sachiko, Yoshikazu or Yoshiki's voice.

"Kizami...it's colder here..." Kurosaki noted. There wasn't any doubt, they had both felt the temperature drop as the voice was heard and it wasn't going to leave without doing what it was meant to do. Take control of a victim and make as many murders as possible before growing bored and leaving.

"I used to have a friend like that...someone who said they understood me and then stabbed me in the BACK!" The voice spoke again.

"Coward," Kizami growled.

"I'm a coward? Cowardcowardcoward...such a funny word from someone like you, don't you think?" Kizami couldn't help but let out a laugh.

"Calling me a coward when you're the one hiding? Who's the bigger coward?"

"Kizami..." Kurosaki whimpered slightly. It wasn't the best idea to get a spirit angered. Not when all the spirits here could easily burn the red flame of hatred and come to kill you like the ghost children previously did. The hatred they felt was something they couldn't control, it was them. The burning soul of hatred was what they had become after death. They didn't care about remorse, or pity, or anything like that. They only craved the taste of revenge. Even after the killer had been killed, they were still consumed by the burning rage of hatred. That's all the spirits were here.

"I was just like you though. Someone who had a screw LOSE in their mind...who enjoyed the taste of blood in the morning, day, evening and night. Who collected dead animals off the streets and only dissected them further. Hedgehogs were a common sight where I came from. Just seeing them flattened on the road. Seeing their body parts a few centimetres away from the body of the worthless creature, similar to how your friend looks now." Kizami looked behind him at Kurosaki, taking note on how pale he was starting to look with the mental pictures he wasn't used to. Kizami shook his head. Kurosaki may be weak but Kizami knew that Kurosaki understood him on some wavelength and left Kizami to dispel his 'psychoness' before returning back to him. Kizami's hand quickly grabbed hold of Kurosaki's wrist in a protective manor. Kurosaki was his friend and there wasn't going to be anything in the world (apart from himself) that was going to take him away.

"He's mine," Kizami spoke protectively causing Kurosaki to grow confused while at the same time, thanking his friend for protecting him. He didn't know for how long he was going to be protected for but at the moment, he didn't care. Glad that Yoshiki had stopped Kizami the first time Kizami tried to kill him.

"Yuuya..." Kurosaki spoke softly, feeling pride swelling up in him for not giving up on Kizami and treating him like trash...just like Kizami's family had done to him.

"HAHAHAHAHA! YOU make me laugh! YOU really think that this PsYcHo will protect you for long? He's plotting your fall right now!" Kizami's grip tightened on Kurosaki's wrist.

"Kurosaki's my friend! I may be a psychopath, but at least I'm not alone. Not like my family wanted me to be," he growled the last sentence, thinking about his family made his blood boil.

"Well then, let's see how well you'll be without your friend!" The orange flame emerged.

We'll Save You – How to Change a Mind

Sachiko watched as Yoshiki's body tore more skin of the flesh of his prey. The starved body needed more than the human flesh which the school provided it but he couldn't say or do anything about it. Not without hurting his beloved little sister Sachiko. The ghost child smiled while she watched her puppet tear more fatty flesh off the teenager. Her face was twisted in pain and horror as Yoshiki had pounced on the female and tackled her to the ground. The bloody scissors lay next to the puppet, covered in a fresh coat of blood while at the same time had a few bits of flesh sticking to the metallic instrument. Sachiko giggled seeing the horrible look in front of her. This was just another soul to add to the collection of souls of the school. The closed spaces had merged into one, making her job easier and Yoshiki's food supply...much, much larger than before.

"You don't Onii-chan?" She teased the male who moved onto the breast of the victim. Ripping off her student ID card and tossing it to the side. Someone else would come and find that sooner or later but the body would have been devoured before anyone would come here. Sachiko giggled.

"Sachiko?" Yoshiki's empty voice spoke. Sachiko looked at Yoshiki slightly confused. It was rare that he asked her a question while eating.

"Yes?" She asked back.

"My soul...it seeks me."

"It isn't going to find you," Sachiko said as she lifted up Yoshiki's chin from the body. Blood dribbled down from his mouth while a chunk of breast meat hung from his mouth. The dead grey eyes were staring straight into her dead eyes. "I promise you, now hurry up and eat up. We've got a lot of killing to do and I could do with that speed of yours." Yoshiki swallowed what was in his mouth and nodded.

"Of course," taking another bite out of the female student. Sachiko started to grow worried. If they were looking for his body...then they might have got the items they needed in order to appease her and to stop all this. She smiled at the thought of her final victory when she took down their precious Yoshiki Kishinuma with her. Merging two minds was painful enough, but with all the crazy stuff that she had been making the body do...the killing, the devouring of the bodies, even the torture that the body had delivered to victims to make Sachiko pleased. All that going into the soul...something the soul wouldn't remember...that was going to be the most painful thing Yoshiki was going to go through. All the flooding memories which the soul would try and reject...and fail...this was her master plan. The best way to get back at people who tried to stop her doing what her mother wanted. She didn't need to be lonely anymore. Her precious Sachiko was doing her a favour by giving her soul after soul after soul to her. Adult, child, teen...the age didn't matter. Sachiko was going to give HER pride and joy to her mother.

'You'll be taking your own life when they try and save you,' she giggled to herself. 'Because that's what friends do. They stab you in the back when you wanted something else.'
