Reposting because FanFiction's being a bitch and the format's being weird. So sorry about that, and for the delay on this chapter. Hopefully next one will be up soon. Not one of my better/longer chapters, so I apologize for that, and hopefully next one will be better.

"Heads up!"

Callen ducks as what looks like a small rubber ball bounces over his head. Jack dodges it, but Bunny isn't so lucky, and he's hit in the chest with the ball. It explodes on contact, leaving a smudge of bright blue colored powder on grey fur. The Pooka glares at the thrower, who's doubled over in laughter.

The lanky redheaded man continues to laugh, one hand on his stomach as the other braces on his knee to keep him upright. "Sorry, mate! Was aiming for the wall behind you!" he says between chuckles.

Callen grins. "Jester," he acknowledges, holding out his hand to the spirit.

The spirit of April Fools takes his hand and smiles brightly at him, shaking it enthusiastically. "Pleased to see you again, mate." He holds his hand up to Bunny in apology. "Sorry about that, by the way. Honestly was aiming for the wall behind you. We were kind of doing graffiti of sorts."

Jack turns to see that the wall was, indeed, covered in colorful powder that one of the yetis would no doubt have to clean up, but for now it's beautifully psychedelic.

"We?" Bunny questions, trying to brush the powder out of his fur with his paw.

One of the other spirits steps forward. He has a few more colorful balls in his pale hands, and his orange eyes are sheepish beneath the black fringe of his bangs. "Most fun I've had in a while."

"Sam Hain," Jack says, grinning at the taller man.

Sam nods, tucking the balls into the pocket of his black jeans. "Jack Frost. Nice to see you again."

"You've met?" Bunny asks, raising an eyebrow and looking the spirit of Halloween up and down.

"He's made it cooler on Halloween nights," Sam replies with a shrug. "Helps prevent melting candy."

"Because candy doesn't deserve to be melted," Jack adds, leaning on his staff and grinning brightly.

Sam smiles back and produces a Hershey kiss, wrapped in orange foil. He tosses it to the frost sprite. "Right you are."

"Hope the party hasn't started without me!"

Callen turns to find himself face to face with a blonde man. "Shit, Robin!" he curses, leaping away from the man hanging upside down from the ceiling.

Robin grins and falls to the floor in a crouch. The blond man brushes himself off, running a hand through his short hair and laughing. "Sorry! Bit of a habit, you know? Johnny's stuck somewhere in Kansas - don't think he'll be of much use other than spitting apple seeds, so I just decided to leave him. But I'm here, and ready to kick some ass!"

"Robin Hood," Bunny mutters, glaring at the arrow slung across the man's back, and the crossbow on his hip.

"Relax, cottontail; I don't hunt rabbits," Robin replies, tugging the grappling hook down and wrapping it back up.

That doesn't seem to make Bunny feel any easier, and the Pooka steps a bit away from the outlaw.

Callen looks at the assorted spirits and frowns. "I thought there'd be more."

"Well, no offense, but your call for help was less of a call for help and more of a death sentence," Robin replies, counting the arrows in his quiver. "Other spirits were smart and stayed away. You guys are powerful, but not as powerful as what we're rumored to be up against."

"But we have others to back up," North replies.

Robin shrugs. "They're scared. After what happened to Sandy last time, they aren't willing to risk it." He looks down at the little man. "No offense. Glad to have you back."

Sandy gives him a thumbs up and a smile.

"Three spirits. Six Guardians. A small army o' magical bein's and a few fairies against Pitch and who knows what else," Callen mutters.

"Oh, Lucky gave us her blessing," Jester adds.

"So luck is literally on our side," Jack replies, grinning at his little joke.

"Okay, plus luck. Leprechaun?" Callen asks.

"Afraid he's gonna get trampled," Robin replies.

"Groundhog?" Bunny asks, as much as it pains him to say it.

"… are you kidding me? What's a groundhog going to do?"

Bunny grunts, shaking his head in slight embarrassment because really, what was a groundhog going to do?

"I'm gonna see if I can convince a few more," Callen says, pulling his phone from his back pocket. "They're our best shot. I'll be back."

"Want me to go with you?" Jack offers.

The Irishman grins, then shakes his head. "Nah, thank ya though. I'll be back in a bit, and hopefully with a few more spirits with us. Sam, Robin, Jester, and anyone else who has a phone - if ya wanna call, that might be helpful."

North pulls a Nokia out from his jacket pocket. "What?" he asks, noticing Tooth staring at the old phone. "Is unbreakable!"

He can't get a decent signal inside, so he walks out onto one of the many snow-covered balconies wrapping around the Pole. He tries Lucky first - to have her blessing is one thing, but to have Lady Luck fighting with them is another.

It rings, and rings, and rings. He hangs up and tries again, the phone to his ear.

"C'mon, pick up," he mutters, leaning against the railing. He grins as there's the click of the phone being picked up. He opens his mouth to greet her when the call drops.

"I think your little army's big enough, don't you?"
