*Final Fantasy IX belongs to Square Enix... that is all... good bye.*
I had just turned off my Sony Playstation after seeing the credits of Final Fantasy IX on my television. It was near two in the morning, and my eye lids were heavy. I stood up stretched, and turned off the console's power. I turned around and collapsed face first onto my bed, immediately falling asleep.
I was jolted awake by a force hitting my stomach. I stared up and saw the starry sky above me. I sat up and looked around. I was in a circular area, stone buildings towering above me, and lights illuminating the area. There was a fountain behind me, and the sound of the rushing water echoed through the city. I slowly began to stand up and felt someone run into me. I slowly looked down and saw a small kid, wearing a mage hat. He had a blue jacked tied in front of his chest and a large belt wrapped around his chest. His pants were white with green striped down the middle.
"Vivi?" I asked.
"How do you know my name?" he asked. He had a cutesy, high-pitched voice, and it had a curious tone to it.
"I dunno," I replied. "Just slipped out." I chuckled waiting for a response.
"Well, okay. See you around," he said. He walked past me, a kid looking like a rat calling his name and sprinting after him. I exhaled and looked to where they were headed. Spotlights were flashing around where the crowd was headed, and loud noised came from that same place. I immediately knew where I was.
Alexandria.
