Naruto led his teammates back to the living room, and motioned for the three of them returned to sitting on the couches.

"So any questions?" he asked with a grin taking his own seat. He suspected at least one question that both of them would probably be wondering about. His heritage. Looking at his teammates he saw them thinking about everything. To his surprise Sasuke was the first one to speak.

"Can I get a room here?" Sasuke asked without a hint of sarcasm dripping from his voice. Sakura looked at him like he was crazy, but it was Naruto's answer that shocked her the most.

"Maybe. This is a big place. Would be nice to have a friend around, but I do enjoy the peace and quiet." Naruto said. He honestly hadn't thought of that possibility, but it would be nice becoming friends with Sasuke again. He missed hanging out with his old childhood friend.

"I have one." Sakura said. "You are the son of the Fourth Hokage, the man heralded as the Yellow Flash and who killed the Kyuubi." Naruto nodded waiting for her to get to her question. "Why doesn't everyone know, and why does everyone hate you if you're the son of a hero?"

"Now that's what I was waiting for." Naruto said clapping his hands together startling both of his guests slightly. "Let's start with the first one, and move on to the second. That fine?"

"Um. Sure?" Sakura said a bit confused. Naruto seemed to take this in stride like everything else she'd seen happen to him. It was strange, but at the same time it seemed very Naruto to her.

"Okay then let's get this straight. The Kyuubi was never killed, only defeated" Naruto said losing his smile for a moment. Seeing Sakura about to say something, he continued cutting her off. "Unlike what the books on the subject say, you apparently can't kill a Bijuu. They are monsters of pure chakra with minds of their own, not demons or anything like that. Give them enough time after 'killing' them, and they'd come back like nothing happened. Maybe even a bit stronger from picking up chakra during their incubation period."

"Okay. So you're saying that the fox is still running around somewhere?" Sasuke said. Naruto looked over to the other boy, who just sat there looking bored.

"Sorta. When I said defeated, I meant it. The beast is sealed away in a container called a Jinchuriki. Now what I'm about to say is a high ranked secret. Punishable by death yada yada. You get the point. "

"Get on with it idiot. As nice as this place is we don't have all day" Sasuke retorted. Naruto could see a small grin forming on his face, however slight, so he knew that Sasuke was interested in what he was saying. He turned to Sakura to see her leaning forward. Her gaze was intense, and focused.

"Sure." He said. "You see. Jinchuuriki are humans. Normally selected at birth because they don't have a chakra system that's been developed yet. It makes it easier for the Bijuu chakra to flow through the vessel without dying. I'm basically reciting what I read last night on the subject from the library here. Some of it flew over my head, so if you want more info look it up yourself.

"So what's that gotta do with you?" Sakura asked. She assumed he was telling them this for a reason, but the only reason she could think of was… not possible.

"Cause I'm a Jinchuuriki of the strongest Bijuu. The Kyuubi." He said with a smile. Okay so it was possible Sakura thought.

"Cool. So what does that mean for you?" Sasuke asked with a smile. His rival, though he only just got used to calling Naruto that, was stronger than he knew and he had a secret power. If that wasn't a good reason to get stronger then he didn't know what one was.

"Well. From what I know personally it gives larger chakra reserves, and increased healing. As a member of the Uzumaki I already have above average reserves, and longevity. I'd probably outlive both of you by a couple decades even without the beast. With it, well most injuries disappear in a night, or less. the increased reserves on top of the large natural reserves just means I can spam jutsu or use high ranked ones without as much wear and tear."

"That explains the Clones, and your claw technique." Sasuke said. "Makes sense in retrospect. You were called the Evil Kit by some of the older civilians now that I think of it."

"So why do people dislike you? I've seen you get chased out of stores before, but is it just cause of the kyuubi? But if it's a secret then why would that be?" Sakura asked. Naruto could tell she was actually concerned. He assumed she thought he was run out because of pranks before learning about his little pet. That was a strange thought for Naruto, thinking of the fox as a pet, he assumed that the fox wouldn't find it so funny.

"For the most part. Though quite a few are because of my pranks." Naruto said with his mischievous glint in his eyes again. "People don't like glitter on their floors, or painted windows. And the secret is only really secret to the kids a little older than us, and younger."

Naruto looked at his guests, and saw their faces. He could tell that Sakura was taking it all in. She had always seen him as the idiot in the class, and now he was something else entirely. It broke her view of him, and he knew it would take some time for her to accept it all. Sasuke's face was harder to make sense of, but Naruto could tell that he was coming to terms about all the new informations and the fact that he wasn't an idiot anymore.

"How about both of you stay here tonight? Team building and all that jazz. I'll even give you free reign of the house. No touching the ramen though." Naruto suggested.

"Sounds like a wonderful idea." A voice from above them said startling the young ninja. They looked up to find their sensei sitting on the ceiling looking down at them.

"Sensei. How long have you been up there?" Naruto asked. He supposed it must be true that Kakashi was keyed into the wards since he himself hadn't let him in.

"Been here since before you lot went downstairs." Their sensei said still hanging from the ceiling. It was then that Naruto noticed something about Kakashi. In his hands was a steaming cup. Despite being upside down himself he held the cup so nothing fell, and ate the contents at the same time.

"Wait! That's my ramen." Naruto yelled. It didn't matter that Kakashi was in the house, he had been told that he had access. What mattered to him was that the silver haired jonin was eating his ramen. His ramen of all things!

"Well of course. There's no other food in the house. Now back to your idea. I like it. Sasuke shouldn't have too much trouble staying over, but we should probably get Sakura's parents permission." Kakashi said after slurping up the last bit of the noodles in the cup.

"I'll go do that sensei." Sakura said taking a stand. Without looking at anyone she just left. Naruto sighed. He knew it would take a bit to get her comfortable with the idea.

"So fox boy. You don't mind us staying over?" Sasuke asked.

"Yeah, yeah. You can pick any room that's not the one I was using." Naruto said. Sasuke took the opportunity, and headed down to the bedroom level.

"My rooms the one next to the master bedroom!" Kakashi yelled out to his student. Naruto shook his head at that.
