Enjoy if you please.
Shougo Makishima has a strange and strong interest in tragedies.
He reads them all the time, analyzing, assessing through each page he flips. There is something sorta phantasmic in those heart-wrenching stories that he finds so deeply enchanting and entertaining. Being the romantic gentleman he is, Shougo owns a large collection of international (bad-ending) love books. People hanging close to him will know when he comes upon something especially grim. Shougo reads with elegant posture, back straight, neck straight, facial feature brightening as in bliss. His face relaxes and seldomly breaks into small snickers. They know though, that the more pleased Shougo looks, the more damaged and miserable his book's characters have become.
Shougo Makishima has a strange and strong interest in tragedies. He can't help it, especially when he doesn't want to help it at all. Shougo Makishima is also a Shakespeare's true pal. He likes "Romeo and Juliet" with all his bias. Guy dies here, guy dies there, main character fakes death here, main female grows desperate there. Tantalizing. Absolutely delighting. You know how it works, say, one minute you're a car addict and next second you want to possess a car. It's understandable really, when you look at it as a healthy (freedom of beliefs) habit. Shougo Makishima likes to craft tragedies.
-which is a reason why he casts that fledgling inspector Shinya something Kougami as his potential Juliet. They're criminal and police, fated to hate each other with much much fervor. Shougo's "house" despises that Sibyl system. Baby's "house" Investigation Department tries to catch his gang but never succeeded. Then all of a sudden Shougo's underling "Tybalt" whatshisname 'executes' his baby's best friend "Mercutio" Sasayama. It becomes quite out of script when baby hates hates him (instead of loves loves him). Complicated, well. But it's fine too, Shougo always welcomes twisted plot. Like a cherry up-top whipped cream. He leaves one carefully edited picture at the scene (so baby can bring 'him' home and swoons over him anytime of course) and voila, his first act is done. Now, Shougo taps long long lean finger against yellowed page, he only needs to cross his legs, hums a tune-
And waits for baby's next action.
Tragedy Addict/End.
This might become something long ("Shomeo and Kouliet" anyone?) depends on my muse. Short drabble is short, short prologue is short, I apologize.
