Chapter 15: Worried

While they were leaping from trees to trees back to the Hidden Leaf Village, Uzumaki Naruto glanced at the dark haired girl carried by her male friend behind his back as the girl seems comfortable around this strange man. Her calm and quiet expression seems bugging him, there's something that changed the Uchiha girl for some reason and he was curious what it is. When Sakura and the others asked her about her experience in the Akatsuki Hideout; she just replied to them that she didn't know anything as if that she was something she hides from them.

Not just Naruto but Sakura as well was secretly eyeing Sasuke's little sister, "I'm worried about her. She didn't say a word about everything since we found her in that place." She said to Ino who just listened to the pink haired medic nin, "I think that she's not feeling well, Sakura. Just be calm and if she finally have the confidence to talk then, you can have your answers." The light blond haired young woman says. Both Kiba and Chouji were listening to them, they were unsure about Uchiha Sasuke's sister being with them and they felt that she's going to do something troublesome in their village. But what's peculiar is that, she didn't used her chakra to leaped just like them but instead, she wants to be carried by her male friend whose seems suspicious.

Kiba's mood sour, "What a pain in the ass." He muttered annoyingly and they quickly leaped towards the village ignoring the smirking face of Kagome Higurashi behind them. They were so compassionate towards her and they didn't know the consequences of their actions

The Konoha villagers had mixed reactions when they saw the dark haired girl who seems resembling of an Uchiha next to the unknown auburn young man. Both Naruto and the others were escorting them to the Hokage Mansion to meet the Fifth Hokage, "Kagome-chan, don't mind what they were looking at you. You are going to meet with Tsunade-obaachan to talk to you a few things." He explained but it seems that the dark haired girl didn't listened to him as she was astound of the structures of his village including the auburn haired young man next to her.

"How fascinating, I didn't know that there are so many people in this kind of village." She said next to Shippo who was even more impressed of the humans' bright mind on construction.

"It's different from our old world, Kagome." He added but he didn't notice the odd looks from the Konoha nins in front of them. Sakura just chuckles amusingly, "I bet you guys are hungry. Naruto, we should treat them a ramen before we meet Master Tsunade." She suggested in which the blonde haired male shinobi agreed, "You're right. Sakura-chan! Kagome-chan, I know that you dislike ramen but I can assure you that you will learn to like it because the old man just made a new flavored ramen this week." He grabbed the surprise dark haired girl and Higurashi Kagome was annoyed by his bright demeanor, "Let go of me. I can walk on my own." She yanked her wrist from her that stunned the Uzumaki male including Sakura and the others as well.

"She's so cold." They thought.

He chuckles, "Ah. Sorry about that, Kagome-chan. I didn't know that you're uncomfortable like that. I just…gonna escort you to the Ichiraku Ramen." He said in a sad smile that surprised the dark haired girl. "Why is he making a face like that?" She thought in a puzzled tone. The miko decided to ignore it and just followed the blonde haired male shinobi to the Ramen Shop and when they arrived. They were greeted by the male owner and his daughter and then, the seven of them were served the new flavored ramen in front of them. She glanced at Shippo who helped himself and consumed the noodles, "Itadakimasu!" His mouth slurped the bowled ramen and Shippo thanked the owner for the delicious meal. Kagome stared down her untouched ramen, she had never eaten a human food for a thousands of years and this is the first time that she was been served by a human.

She grabbed her chopsticks and slurped the noodles on her mouth slightly, it's really good and decided to fill her stomach but she was half done of her bowl of ramen, She smiled at the male owner, "Thank you for the food." She said with a gentle tone that amuses the Teuchi and his daughter, Ayame. Both Naruto and the others just grinned at the dark haired girl who just showed her humanistic side.

But behind her delicate façade, was her wariness towards the Konoha nins beside them. Sure, she and Shippo finally infiltrate the village but she was aware that her reincarnation's presence was not welcomed in this village judging how those villagers glaring at her as if she was a murderer and they wanted her to be dead. They were calling her names and insulted her reincarnation's clan for being a traitor to their village. A dark grin spread on her pale lips, "Behind of their kindness lies a demon from within. What would you expect to any mortals?" She thought.

After that, they were greeted by group of Konoha shinobis and a group of Anbus in front of the Hokage Mansion. Both Naruto and the others were surprised that they were blocking their way towards the Fifth Hokage, "Hey! What is the meaning of this?" Kiba shouted angrily.

One of them spoke, "We heard that Uchiha Kagome is here with you, and the higher ups ordered for her to be interrogated." He said in a calm but cold tone. Shippo stepped forward and shielded Kagome from behind, "Is this how they greeted their own villager? How rude." He commented angrily. Meanwhile, Kagome didn't say anything; she had expect this because the original owner was a member of a traitorous but powerful shinobi clan.

Sakura intervened, "No. We can't let you have her without the authority of Master Tsunade so let us pass." She said in a serious tone. All of them were refused that irates Naruto's group but they were saved by a familiar person.

"All of you let them go or do you want the Fifth Hokage to find out that you are using her name for your own grudges against the Uchiha and illegally arrested this poor young girl?" Kakashi appears out of nowhere and glared at the startled Konoha shinobis.

They were nervous at the presence of Hatake Kakashi who was closed to the Fifth Hokage, "We're deeply sorry for our misconduct. We take our leave." They said in unison but a few of them glared at the confused Higurashi Kagome, they will have many opportunities to deal with her now that she's in their village and they instantly disappear.

Shippo sighed deeply, "Are you alright, Kagome?" He asked worriedly.

She nod, "I'm fine. Thank you, Shippo and to you as well, Mister." She stared at the silver haired masked shinobi who was utterly surprise that the female Uchiha didn't recognized him.

He chuckles, "Well, this is the first. I can't believe that Kagome didn't recognize the Sensei of her dear beloved brother." He says in a disappointing tone.

Naruto was shocked, "Eh? Kagome-chan! Didn't you recognize Kakashi-sensei?" He shouted at the confused looking dark haired girl.

"Could it be that Kagome-chan has suffered an amnesia that's why, she can't recognize anybody in this village?" Ino hunches while looking at the dark haired girl with pity. Sakura stared at the dark haired girl, it's obvious that the Uchiha girl is seems not feeling a bit well ever since they saw her to that small village.

"I think that we should treat you to the infirmary immediately but first, you must have a courtesy to Tsunade-sama." She pulled the Uchiha girl's hand to the entrance and Shippo immediately follows the dark haired girl including Naruto but the others just stand there and left and Kakashi eyed suspiciously at the strange dark haired girl.

Fifth Hokage's Office

Tsunade was shocked to see the teenage Uchiha Kagome in front of her and she looks very weak but maintained her confidence and maturity of her facial expression when she was standing before her. Kagome however, realized that she was in front of the female leader of this village, "Please to meet you, I'm Uchiha Kagome." She greeted the fifth Hokage with a respectful bow.

The light blonde haired older woman replied, "I know, little girl. Sakura told me that you had an amnesia is that why you can't recognized a few people around this village?" she asked the quiet dark haired girl. Higurashi Kagome decided not to talk much after the stunt at the Suna village where her mana was drained after dealing with that powerful Kazekage, "I don't know. I'm just not feeling well." She replied in a quiet tone.

Shizune suggested, "If she's not feeling well, you should have her a medical examination, Sakura. Just used Tsunade-sama's name for her to be accommodated by the doctors." The dark haired young woman said.

The fifth Hokage grabbed something on her drawer a note from earlier, "I was surprise to find out that you are the one who requested a reinforcements in my village. How bold of you, Uchiha Kagome. Is your acting having an amnesia just a façade?" The tone of her voice seems cold and harsh. Both Naruto and Sakura were shocked and stared at the dark haired girl who didn't say anything.

But Shippo intervene, "It was me who writes that note and I'm aware of the existence of your village." He said as he tried to protect Kagome's pretentious act in order to fulfill her plan.

The Fifth Hokage raised a brow at the unknown person, "And who might you be?" She asked in a suspicious tone.

"My name is Shippo and I'm Kagome's friend." He introduced himself.

Naruto glanced at the auburn young man, "How did you find her…Shippo?" He asked and the auburn haired young man was surprised of this blonde guy just addressed his name casually, "It's a long story." He replied quickly.

Tsunade sighed, "Very well. Sakura, escort Uchiha Kagome to the infirmary and have her undergo medical examination and after that, report to me what the result is." She ordered the pink haired medical nin.

"Hai! Master Tsunade." Sakura complied and she escorted the dark haired girl who glanced at the wary female Hokage behind her. "She seems strong and powerful. I can't deal with her." The miko thought and the door closed.

Meanwhile, Tsunade leaned on her chair, "Shizune, did you noticed that Uchiha Kagome was acting strange lately? It seems very suspicious to me." She said while sipping her warm tea.

"What makes you said that, Tsunade-sama?" Shizune asked in a confused tone.

Her deep hazel eyes stared down at the cup of tea, "I can tell that something is really off about this." She muttered quietly.

Konoha Infirmary

"Here are the medical results of Uchiha Kagome, Sakura-san." A male medical personnel handed the piece of paper to the pink haired girl after few of the female medical nins examined the female Uchiha in the laboratory room. The pink haired medical nin carefully read the medical report and her emerald eyes went wide, "Kagome-chan, she's…" the female medical nin glanced at the female Uchiha's male companion, "Tell me, truthfully, where did you meet Kagome-chan?" She asked in a suspicious tone.

Naruto was surprised that his female teammate was acting strange, "What's wrong, Sakura-chan? What are her results?" He asked in a curious tone.

Sakura bits her lip, is it alright for Naruto to find out about this sensitive report about a female? But she can trusts him, "Her medical history matches her current medical reports, Kagome-chan has a weak immune system but what's surprised me as to how did she performed a Katon jutsu earlier since she was forbid to learned ninjutsu ever since she was a child because her chakra system was deteriorate." She was bothered by this strange event surrounding the Uchiha girl. Shippo however, was listening to their conversation, the simple reason as to how did she perform that deadly shinobi ninjutsu that easily it's because of the mana on the dark haired girl's body. The mana temporarily activates her chakra system but there's a price; the owner of the body will be feeling weak and that's the reason why, he carries her piggyback style to this village.

"But that's not all…" her hands were trembled at the last remark of the report, "They examined her private area and they found…wounds between her legs and semen. She's been raped." She revealed that shocks the Uzumaki male shinobi. Both of them glared at the startled auburn young man and he narrowed his eyes, "I didn't touch her. I found her in a cult temple lying naked and I saved her life so don't accused me as a rapist."He denies harshly and glared at them.

Both of them were surprised, "A cult you say? How did she get there?" Naruto asked in a desperate tone.

"I don't know. Just asked her instead, she knows what is happening to her before we meet." He replied back with an annoying expression. The two of them apologized to the annoyed auburn haired young man and he told them that he's going to look after his friend inside the private infirmary room.

The two members of Team 7 decided to visit Uchiha Kagome tomorrow morning because they wanted her to rest after being through a lot. An anger rose on Naruto's chest, "Sasuke, why is he abandoning his sister like this? I thought he cherished her." His fists clenched angrily.

Sakura couldn't help but to be angry as well, "Kagome-chan doesn't deserve this. She should be staying here in this village where she was safe and not been used like that by some evil people. Sasuke is an irresponsible brother." A tear leak on her emerald eyes, she pitied the dark haired girl's misfortune.

"If I find that bastard. I'm going to teach him a lesson for abandoning Kagome-chan and she nearly died at the hands of those cult." He added as they make way to their respective homes.

"I told them what you had instructed, Kagome." Shippo says while leaning against the couch and the dark haired girl was pealing a large apple on the infirmary bed, "Good work, Shippo. I know that I can count on you." She chuckles while consuming the slice apple on her mouth. It's all according to plan, after all. She was currently wearing a hospital gown after been medically examined by the female medical nins earlier in the afternoon and it seems that she's going to be staying her for a short days.

"They will be suspicious if they found out that Kagome Uchiha is a different person. That's why, I have to fulfill my role in this charade." She grinned at the bored auburn haired young man who just stay silent, he doesn't understand what she was thinking right now but he had to follow her so that he can helped her with her goals.

The next day, Naruto and Sakura visited their patient at the Konoha Hospital together with the fruits and lunch that they've been carrying for her. The pink haired chunin asked the receptionist, "Where is Uchiha Kagome's room number?" She asked the said female.

"It's in the second floor; room 205." The female receptionist replied and the two of them went to the said location. Naruto's expression saddened at the thought that Kagome was in that horrible situation, she must have been so scared and alone.

They knocked twice until the door opened revealed the same male companion of the Uchiha girl and Kagome was just looked at them with calm expression on her face. Sakura smiled warmly at the only female Uchiha, "Good morning, Kagome-chan. We're here to visit you. How's your health? Are you alright?" The pink haired chunin asked as she placed her gloved hand on the dark haired girl's cold hand. Sakura noticed that the dark haired girl's eyes seem odd as it has an azure color that was unusual from the said Uchiha girl's coal eyes but she decided to ignore it.

It was Naruto's turned to speak but his sad but pity expression towards the Uchiha girl notices Shippo next to the blonde haired guy, "Kagome-chan…I'm sorry." He apologized and it breaks Sakura's heart when she thought about this dark haired girl been raped couple of times.

"Why are you apologizing to me? What is going on?" She asked with feign innocence.

The two of them looked at each other, "We found something on your medical examination results and…it confirms that you've been assaulted, Kagome-chan. Why? How did this happen? Where is Sasuke in all of this?" Naruto asked in both angry and confusion on his face.

The dark haired girl looked down on her lap, should she tell them that her reincarnation's brother was assaulting his own sister? They would probably get furious at him but does she care? It's her reincarnation's fault for being seduced by him.

She sighed, "We've been separated after that masked man sent me to a cult as a sacrifice so please don't blame my brother for my misfortune because he doesn't even know that I've been kidnapped." She explained in a calm manner as she remembers exactly from her reincarnation's past memory.

"So, that means…Sasuke-kun is now looking for you at this moment?" Sakura gasped and she knows that their former teammate won't give up until he finds his younger sister.

The blonde haired shinobi crossed his arms, "If Sasuke is looking for you right now then…" but his words cut when Kagome interjects, "So, you want me to use as a bait so that you can bring him back to this place?" She speculated that shocks both two shinobis.

Sakura denies quickly, "N-No…Kagome-chan! We won't do something so horrible to you! I know that Sasuke-kun cherished you but something like that…but we won't take advantage you even though we wished to bring him back here to Konoha." The pink haired girl explained with a hint of sadness on her voice but Kagome Higurashi didn't care about this girl's feelings.

"I see. I'm sorry for my rude behavior. I'm just worried that you will hurt him." Kagome said with a fake concern on her voice that didn't noticed by Naruto and Sakura. The blonde haired shinobi placed his hand on the dark haired girl's right shoulder whose seem oblivious that she was faking her concern over his former male teammate, "You really like your brother. Do you Kagome-chan?" He grinned that shuddered the dark haired girl, "Of course, he's my only family member left, despite the bad things he did, he is still my family." The miko replied and tried her best to perfect her acting skills in front of these people.

Suddenly, the door opened and revealed the interrogation unit leaded by Ino's father who stared at the female Uchiha sitting on her hospital bed. Both Naruto and Sakura were surprised to see these people and just barged a patient's room without permission, "What is the meaning of this?" Naruto demanded but he was stunned of the intense glares towards the cold female Uchiha and Kagome was just calm and her cold azure eyes stared at the newcomers.

"Do you want something from me?" She asked in a very calm way.

"Uchiha Kagome, we are here to interrogate you about the classified information regarding about your brother and the Akatsuki Organization. So, you should come with us this instant." One of the interrogation unit members said in a cold tone but Sakura glared at them, "Don't you see that she's still not well? Are the interrogation unit were this so rude towards a patient?" She said in an annoying tone. Meanwhile, Shippo just stared there and wanted to massacre these people for interrupting Kagome's rest in the hospital but the dark haired girl tamed him and just told him not to do anything reckless.

She smiled, "Don't worry, once I'm well. I'm going to cooperate with you but for now, I needed to rest because I'm still been monitored by the physician. So, please leave this instant immediately." The dark haired girl replied at them with a serious tone.

Ino's father sighed, "Very well. Forgive us for our rudeness. We will take our leave." He said as they left the patient room much to their relief.

As the interrogation units leave, Kagome's mood darkens.
