Authors Note: This is a non-profit fanfiction written purely for my entertainment and yours. I in no way claim ownership to Legend of Zelda, Naruto, or Naruto Shippuden (So please don't sue me or something).

If I owned Naruto Tobi would be the cheerful idiot we see in this story forever and not Obito (Spoiler alert). If I owned Zelda the game series would probably suck, so be happy I don't~

"Senpai, Senpai, Senpai, Senpai, Senpai, Senpai, Senpai, Senpai, Senpai," Tobi repeated, attempting to get the attention of Deidara, who was ignoring him. "Senpai, Senpai, Senpai, Senpai… Hm…" Tobi frowned under his mask attempting to think of something that would get the attention of Deidara.

After a while of repeating one word Tobi decided to take a different tactic. "Deidara, Deidara, Deidara, Deidara, Deidara, Deidara." Tobi groaned. Why wouldn't Deidara-Senpai pay attention to him?

Finally a plan popped into Tobi's head. What was if Hidan-San always called Deidara-Senpai, Deidara-Chan? Tobi giggled and cleared his throat. "Deidara-Chan?" He asked innocently.

Deidara twitched and spun to face Tobi. "First, don't call me that un. Second, what the hell do you want?!" The second part of Deidara's sentence was shouted angrily.

Tobi giggled again. "Hi!"

Deidara twitched. "You have to the count of three un. One, Two…"

Tobi blinked in confusion. "Wha…? Tobi is confused, what does Senpai mean…" Tobi trailed off as realization hit him. "Oh… Tobi will run!" He shouted shrilly, turning and fleeing.

"Three!" Deidara shouted, shoving his hand into his clay pouch and charging after Tobi.

"This ought to be interesting." Noted Black Zetsu who looked mostly uninterested in the events playing out in front of him. "Yes, it probably will be. We should follow them so we don't lose them." White Zetsu responded as the plant man began following the arguing duo.

Tobi fled as quickly as his legs would carry him, screaming as he did. His screaming went up an octave when he heard something explode behind him. 'I need to do something or I will die!' Tobi thought in distress.

"What did Tobi do wrong?!" He yelled in attempt to distract Deidara from killing him.

"Die you stupid brat!" Was Deidara's shouted response.

Tobi, realizing he wouldn't be able to reason with his enraged Senpai, activated his dojutsu and with a shout of "Magical Eye Powers go!" vanished into a spiral that seemed to distort reality around him.

Deidara stopped by sticking to a tree branch with Chakra. "Well, he'll be gone for a few hours… Now, where the hell am I un?!" Deidara exclaimed looking around for something that looked familiar.

Zetsu smirked. "He's right. Tobi won't be back for a few hours." Black Zetsu chuckled. "Shame, I was enjoying the chase…" White Zetsu sighed. "We're going to have to take Deidara back to the base aren't we." Black Zetsu stated with irritation. "Undoubtedly, even though he got himself lost." White Zetsu answered, also with irritation.

Deidara set off, muttering darkly to himself that all tree looked the same and he was sure he was lost now. He went the opposite direction of the base.

. . .

Midna sighed, walking down the worn path. She was glad to be able to go on walks like the one she was currently on, being the ruler of the Twili was boing sometimes and the walks reminded her of her adventures with Link. A strange sound and the air distorting in the corner of her eye caught her attention.

She spun to face a strange spiral that distorted the air a few feet off of the ground. Midna took a few steps back, unsure about the strange spiral and what it might bring. A strange masked person feel from the spiral landing on the ground with a thump and the strange spiral disappeared as suddenly as it had appeared.

The strange masked figure sprawled on the ground looked Hylian. How had a Hylian gotten there though? The mirror of Twilight had been shattered.

"Tobi is in pain!" Wailed a childish voice.

"What…? Are you okay? Is anything scratched or broken?" Midna asked, running over to the strange masked man.

The masked man sniffled. "No… But Tobi is lost; do you have a map Tobi could borrow?"

Midna nodded slowly. "Um, yes… Are you Tobi?" She held out a map.

The masked man nodded. "Tobi is Tobi!" He took the map carefully. "Th-thank you." He added, sniffling again.

"So um…" Midna cleared her throat. "How did you get here, Tobi?" She did want to know, if there was a chance she had a way to see Link again, even if it was just one more time and he couldn't see her…

The masked man seemed to consider this question for a bit. Was it possible he didn't know himself? Finally he answered, "Tobi was running from Deidara-Senpai. Tobi ended up here after using his Magic Eyeball Powers." He sounded sad.

"Ah." Midna nodded slowly. "So, do you know how you will get home Tobi?" Midna took a moment to marvel at how insane some of the Hylians were.

The masked man seemed to perk up instantaneously from the question. "Yep! Tobi will go home the same way he came here!" Midna was slightly confused by the sudden mood swing but she didn't dare say something to make the masked man sad again.

Midna smiled, hoping she looked encouraging. "Okay, that's good."

The masked man hopped to his feet, most likely grinning under his mask if the happiness he seemed to radiate was anything to go by. "Tobi never got your name, what is your name nice stranger lady?" The masked man asked curiously.

Midna smiled and sighed. "My name is Midna."

The masked man glompped her, giggling cheerfully. "Thank you for helping Tobi Midna-Chan!"

"N-no problem Tobi, but you're… You're squishing me." Midna gasped with a pat on the masked man's back.

The masked man gasped and let go of Midna immediately, landing sprawled on his back. It sounded like her said something along the lines of "Sorry," before trailing off. He stared at the sky in wonder. "It's already twilight?" The masked man asked in wonder.

Midna sighed. "No, well yes, well. Let me explain, it's complicated." Midna began, but the masked man appeared to not be listening.

"Tobi must go quickly, but thank you for worrying about Tobi and asking if Tobi needed help!" Midna got the feeling the masked man was grinning at her as he turned and ran off.

A strange spiral, similar to the one that had dropped Tobi into the Twilight realm in the first place, appeared around Tobi and the masked man vanished into it. Midna shook her head. The masked man must have had some sort of control over the strange spirals which would explain how he'd gotten there. Midna couldn't help but feel a wave of disappointment, she wouldn't bad able to see Link after all.

Perhaps that was for the best though, Midna couldn't help thinking as a small figure ran in her direction. "Mama!" Called the child. Midna shook her head and waved, a small smile finding its way onto her face.

Tobi. It was an odd name. "Tobi… Who would name a child ten tails?" Midna shook her head.

The small child jumped into Midna's arms with a burst of giggles. Hearing Midna's thoughtful sentence the child tilted his head thoughtfully. "Tobi? The word means bounce too!" The boy giggled.

Midna sighed and laughed. "Who let you out of the palace you little trouble maker?" Midna asked with a smile.

"I did." The child replied innocently.

"Well, it's time for us to go home." Midna had known a child would be a full time job and a challenge, but it was one she welcomed because it was rewarding to see the smile on her son's face.
