HI there my peoples! I'M BACK! I hope you all enjoy this chapter… took me long enough to update huh? You see well I got a boyfriend and I've been out of it for a couple of months… Because we are getting engaged… :D Ummmm I am planning on finishing my stories… All of them but the updates will be slower. For now enjoy this chapter please! The door, conveniently, began to slowly open to reveal a Gaara standing behind the blonde, his arms crossed, no gourd, and his hair slightly messed up, more than usual.
Matsuri gasped, her expression falling to a darker one. He was here with her?
XDXDXD
Gaaras gaze set on the russet head, his eyes cold and serious. His arm gently snaked onto the blondes' waist, and slowly moved her behind him.
"If you have a problem with Ms. Yamanaka, you can go on and follow me to my office, I will be the one you will have to settle it with."
XDXDXD
Ino sat at a little bench that was set outside of the Kazekages' office for her. She looked down at her hands fiddling with her fingers, patiently waiting for the young pair to come out.
It had been about fifteen minutes that she had already been waiting outside of the office and oh Kami had she been bored.
XDXDXD
Matsuris' eyes watered as Gaara stared down at her with those cold blue eyes of his. He had never acted so coldly before.
The red-head sat down, his hands on his lips as usual. "What is wrong, Matsuri?"
She stared at his thin lips, her own desiring to brush against his. Tears almost rolled down her face again, at the thought of those lips never being hers. Anger flowed her being and she stood up, her hand furiously slapping against his desk, the Leaders eyes still glued on her.
"What were you doing in there with that woman Kazekage-Sama!?"
The red-heads eyes darkened, his hand reached under his desk as he pulled out a small teabag from the cabinet. He reached for the thermo that was at the far edge of the desk and grabbed the cup that sat by him.
He slowly poured hot water into a teacup, his eyes staying on the vapor the water let out.
His posture was straight and his his hands entwined on the little cup. "You have a corrupt mind Matsuri."
The russet-heads eyes widened, and her slammed hand slowly retreated to rest on her chest.
He eyed her again, and when he noticed her silence, sipped on the bitter tea.
"You have no authority to question my actions, Matsuri."
The sound of breathing was the only thing audible in the place.
"I am allowed to do as I please. Am I not?"
Her eyes closed in rage, and she heaved a heavy sigh.
"Since you are acting in such ways," He took another sip of his drink, "I will no longer allow your presence near the Kunoichi."
He looked down at his table the stains of the cups sweat catching his eyes.
"Do I make myself clear?"
Gaaras' gaze was elsewhere, missing the hurt in her eyes.
"I'm sorry…" Her voice was thick with guilt and regret.
"I will not have you disrespect my guests. You will be on hold until further notice."
Horror was the only expression to describe what she was feeling. She couldn't believe what she was hearing. She was losing the war.
"Bu-"
"You are dismissed Mautsuri, I will notify Baki of you suspension."
Her eyes went cold and her teeth began to grind, her eyes and throat tight, trying to hold back the tears and sadness.
She knew arguing was not an option, after all he was her Kage.
"Your weaponry." He tapped his desk.
She dropped the weapons and head-band on the table and roughly walked to the door without one word; her shoes clicking against the tile as she retreated to the door.
She made a rough stop just before the door and grasped the doorknob angrily.
"Why do you trust this woman so much?" She didn't face him, she couldn't. "Is she really your intended?"
This took the leader by surprise and his eyes widened, if he had been drinking any tea, he would have gone out of character, and had spit it out.
Gaara stayed in his position the thought of everyone in this village wanting him betrothed haunted him.
The red-head didn't move, he didn't make any noise, he was nervous.
"She… is..."
Her body tensed.
"She is the woman I am going to marry."
She ground her teeth again, this time holding back her voice from breaking. "Well then… I hope you have a happy ending…" She opened the door and as soon as it was opened it was slammed shut.
The red-head relaxed, his thoughts crashing back into his head. He had to act quick he needed a plan, he could not get married as of yet.
Suddenly his eyes opened, a bright idea hit him.
I have to make her fall in love with me.
His heart began pounding, as more ideas crashed into his system.
The blondes' beautiful smile popped into his mind. Selfishness is never a good thing, it can crush people…
Ok well I know it's short, but for now I'm going to leave it here, cause I want to get back into a writing routine. I know this chapter is'nt very, very, interesting, but please bear with me. I promise things will get juicy, I have a big twist of events for this story, involving many characters. This is going to be slightly different from the original plan. BUT I promise it will be good. Thank you for reading. Have pleasant days and beautiful nights. XoXo -XHXIX
