I realized it's been ages since I've posted an "In the...With..." story. And I jsut had to fix that. So here it is. In the Great Hall with Draco. :)

I don't own HP or any of the characters that you recognize from it. I can only dream. I also don't have a beta, so any and all mistakes are mine! If there are any that you find that you think need to be fixed, don't be afraid to PM or reivew and let me know and I will fix it as soon as I can!

Allons-y!

Hermione Granger was sitting in the Great Hall, enjoying her breakfast, when it happened.

The doors to the Hall burst open and shouts were heard. Hermione looked up and gasped at the sight she saw.

Harry, Ron, and Draco were standing in the doorway. Harry and Ron were each gripping one of Draco's arms, and Draco was obviously far from pleased that he had been taken captive.

"Not again," Hermione groaned to herself. She stood up and hastily made her way to the three men. She was aware of the fact that all of the eyes in the Great Hall were trained on her, her two best friends, and their prisoner.

"Hermione!" Harry shouted as he and Ron dragged Draco towards her. "Hermione!"

"I heard you the first time, Harry. What is it?"

Ron frowned at her. "This git just stopped us in the hallway," he said, sounding as though Draco had just committed the most heinous crime imaginable.

"I don't see the issue, boys."

Draco groaned. "Oh, for the love of Merlin, just let me go! I wanted to talk is all, but never mind! Forget I ever said anything!"

"What did you want to talk to them about?" Hermione asked curiously.

Draco paled and Harry and Ron grinned at her.

"He was asking us for our permission and blessing," Ron sneered.

"He's delusional," Harry explained. "He asked us if we would object if he asked you to marry him."

Complete silence fell over the Great Hall as everyone's attention was trained on the four by the door. Hermione gaped at Draco, unsure of what to say.

"He still thinks that you two are a thing," Ron continued. "He's completely out of his mind."

Hermione rushed forward and wrapped her arms around the surprised Slytherin. "You two are idiots," she snapped at Harry and Ron as they hastily let go of Draco. "He's not delusional. I've told you, time and time again, that we are actually together!" She squeezed Draco tighter as his arms came around her. "Were they telling the truth?"

"They spoiled it," he grumbled, burying his face in her hair. "I was trying to be polite and the completely ruined it."

"Nonsense," Hermione mumbled.

Draco chuckled. He let go of Hermione and knelt down on one knee in front of her. "I apologize that I don't have the ring with me. It's up in my room. And seeing as though the surprise is no longer a surprise, I may as well do without it." Hermione smiled at him. "Hermione Granger, I have fallen hopelessly in love with you. Will you marry me?"

Hermione only nodded in response. Draco grinned and stood again, pulling her against him and kissing her.

The Great Hall erupted with cheers and yells and catcalls and applause as the resident bookworm and prat snogged in the middle of breakfast.
