Finally! 5 years, 10 chapters, and over 30,000 words later this story is finally finished. And while I feel terrible for how long this story has taken me to finish, I am still so incredibly proud of this story.

Yes, it's rough around the edges and certainly could use a beta reader to fix my awkward tenses and the issues I couldn't pick up with my own eyes. But, this is the longest story that I've ever written and published on my own that wasn't a homework assignment.

When I originally plotted this story, I designed it to have a sequel. Of course, considered how long it took to write this one, I've decided to wrap this story up so it can stand alone but open enough that if I do ever decide to write that sequel that I could publish it later.

Of course, I've obviously learned my lesson so I won't ever be publishing a story again as I write. I will only ever publish a story if it's already completely written and finished ahead of time. Lol. So don't expect any new published stories any time soon. I'm just going to focus on finishing Hope Lost right now.

To everyone who has followed, favorited, and reviewed this story over the last 5 years, I want to thank each and every one of you. Your kind words and encouraging reviews are the reason why I kept coming back even when my inspiration faltered and life just got too damn busy to deal with. You all have been incredibly wonderful, and I hope you have enjoyed the ending of Screw Fate.

~ Sincerely, Shirley
