Kagome/Crowley pt. I

Inuyasha/Supernatural

Rating: T

A/N: Just something a little different, I've been binge watching Supernatural lately. This takes place somewhere in the middle of season 8. A part II will spring up at some point, but I wanted to see how you guys would react to an initial oneshot. I'm open to releasing this as a full story if there's enough interest..

Kagome struggled against the bindings holding her wrists to the lower edge of the metal bed frame. Bringing her arms up and down quickly, she tried cutting through the fabric, but to no use. She groaned in frustration and hung her head in defeat, crossing her legs on the carpeted floor before her. Every moment she spent locked away in the room was taking away from the chance to save her friends.

An unexpected hand grasped her chin and forced it upwards. She found herself staring into the dark eyes of none of than the King of Hell himself. "Hello love," he purred out, his eyes hard, not matching the inviting tone he carried. "have you decided you wish to behave yet?"

A grimace made its way to her face and she shook her head defiantly. "Crowley! I demand you release me at once."

He chuckled softly and tilted her head from side to side, inspecting a small bruise that accompanied a raw scrape across her cheek. "Now, you know I can't do that. If I let you go, you'll run off to try and warn those Winchesters once more. Then I'll have to drag you back kicking and screaming, again. You know I hate hurting that pretty face of yours."

Kagome huffed and tried to move her face out of his grasp, unsuccessfully. "You can't do this! Leave them alone. I won't forgive you if you hurt them!"

Letting her face fall out of his hand, Crowley stood up straight and made his way over to the mantle above a nearby fireplace, picking up a stone fragment and running his fingers over it gently. "I think I can live with that." He let out a low growl before turning towards her with a sudden fury. "They've killed my hellhound, their prophet is nowhere to be found…I can't have them closing the gates of Hell on me. I've got every pair of eyes I have out there, waiting for them to make a move. I've let you have your fun and prance around with them and that backwards angel." He hissed out and looked down upon the human in front of him.

"I'm running out of patience, darling. I suggest you play the part of my fiancé and stand by my side."

She cringed at the reminder of their relationship, casting her eyes downward at the memory of his deceit. "You tricked me! If I had realized I was signing away my entire being to you…"

"Ah, but you did, and now you must live with the consequences." He gestured widely to the room surrounding them. "I did my part and saved your little family…your fault you didn't read the fine print."

"I thought I could trust you!"

"I never made any false promises."

She hushed and looked up at him in confusion, wishing she could push aside the hair that fell into her face. He seemed to read her mind, and leaned down just enough to brush the hair behind her ear. "Why did you pick me for this?"

He hummed and looked down at her with an unreadable expression as he thought. "You have great power."

"And there are many with greater. You could have anyone else, or even no one at all, I just don't understand…" she shook her head and he stared up at the ceiling in annoyance at her questioning.

"Darling, I've got big plans for you, but enough, it seems we've strayed from the original topic. Help me find the Winchesters, and I'll allow you your roaming rights again."

She dwelled on the proposition longer than he would have liked. Every idea she could possibly come up with passed through her mind to try and figure out how she could help Sam and Dean. "I-I can't betray them." She shook her head sadly. She tried her best to look distressed and saddened, focusing her blue eyes intently up at her so-called fiancé. If only she could bring to the surface the fondness she knew he held for her somewhere within his being. She'd seen it before, it was there.

"Oh, but you will. I'm not above bringing your family into this." He kneeled down in front of her, inwardly cringing at the thought of getting any dirt or potential wrinkles on his black suit. He forced her to rise from her seated spot until she was eye-level with him and on her knees as well.

She felt her stomach drop as he alluded to the safety of her family. "Crowley, please, don't hurt them." She whimpered as he wrapped a hand through her dark hair and pulled her close until their foreheads met.

"I'll do whatever it takes my dear. We'll have the rest of an eternity together for me to get on your good side again. You will find me the Winchesters and you will bring them to me." His rough whisper sent shivers throughout her entire body and she slowly nodded.

He stood up abruptly and needlessly wiped down his clothes. With a wave of his hand, she found her hands free of their bindings and she rubbed them gently. "I'll be watching you, so don't think you can pull any tricks."

She stood and stared into his crazed eyes, noting the further growth of his beard, and his unkempt hair. He was growing tired and desperate, and she wasn't willing to see how far he would go. Many times before she had gotten glimpses of what he was truly capable of directed onto demons or any other creature that had gotten in his way.

She turned to leave the room, but he tsk'ed in mock disapproval and she looked back at him hesitantly. He pointed cheekily towards his upturned lips, "Don't I get a kiss before my fiancé leaves me?"

Kagome clenched her teeth in annoyance and stomped away, ignoring his chuckle. Heading down the dark, stone hallway, she began to think up ways she could turn the situation in her favor.
