Author's Note: Ok guys I'm super sorry it took me so long to update. Last thing I remember, I was working on this chapter and I went into the kitchen for food. then horribly I got thrown into this horrible reality. The people of this world called their home Real Life. It was truly an evil place, filled with internships, jobs, taxes, and heavy responsibility. Very sparsely did I make it out to write for this chapter again- and I fear its evil vortex of doom is sucking me back in as we speak. Now I know I said the interrogation would be in this chapter but I felt the need to update was greater. But it has to come up soon or my plot will crumble. Plus I'm going to try and make my chapters longer to give you guys some better reading material in the future...ok I'm done apologizing...please enjoy the chapter and remember tp keep your hands and legs inside the vehicle at all times.

Chapter 3

After restraining the intruder in a holding cell they made in Raven's safe room Cyborg decided to take a small vile of blood from the girl, to see if they could find her in any kind a data base – or if she was even human.

Once Cyborg left, Starfire went to go find Robin and Raven left to go meditate. Leaving Beastboy to stay in the observation deck to guard the intruder. Within five minutes of being on watch Beastboy decided he was bored. "Uuuhhhgg! THIS IS BORING!" he exclaimed, hanging his head over the controls.

He looked up to see if the girl was awake. She wasn't. Beastboy Frowned. He didn't like the way his friends insisted on restraining her. She was placed on a metal table with her ankles, waist and neck under metal clamps Cyborg said was made with ada-manta-something-or-other. And he swore that not even Starfire could make a dent in it. Her hands were lying on top of her, chained and encased with the same metal.

Beastboy looked at the girls face. She didn't look any older than 15. He chuckled. "sixteen and already stronger than any of us were at that age." And he thought back to his team.

They had all grown up over the years. Beastboy had defiantly grown taller in the past few years- which he was very excited about. And his muscle mass had become more defined due to Robin's strict training. Cyborg- despite already being over six foot and half cybernetic- had grown a few more inches and had a slightly more mature facial features. Robin had gotten taller as well. Being tied with Beastyboy for second tallest. He also had let his hair grow out (at Starfire's request). He now almost resembled Batman in his physical stature as well- just a slightly smaller version (not that they ever told him that in person). Starfire was probably the only titan that hadn't changed much over the years. Her curves had become more womanly, but her height never changed. And then there was…

Beastboy blushed….Raven….

Raven had grown a lot since they first started. She was only a few inches shorter than Starfire now. And her curves, Beastboy couldn't help but notice, had matured greatly over the years. But it wasn't just her body he noticed, she had open up more to them over the years too. She would spend a little less time in her room now and just be around the team.

"How long?" Beastboy jumped. He looked around the room for the voice. When he couldn't find anything he looked out into the safe room to find the girl floating eye level to him, unchained. Holy hell! How did she get out? He thought. He was about to call for the others but he noticed she was just floating there, laying on her stomach, hands folded under her chin as if she were waiting to hear the latest gossip. When she didn't make any move to run or attack, he decided to play along. "How long what?" he asked, wondering where this was going. "Duh! How long have you had a thing for Raven?" She clarified.

Beastboy turned crimson "And who said I have a thing for Raven?" The girl rolled her eyes and gave a knowing smile. "Well if that blush didn't give it away it was that lovey-dovey face you had while you were thinking of her." She teased, as she was coming up from her laying position to one on her feet with her hand coming up to her raised waist. Beastboy was still blushing " And how would you know if I was thinking about her? What kind you read minds or something?" She giggled " I think I'll have to go with the 'or somethin'."After a moment of thinking he sighed and his shoulders and ears drooped "It doesn't matter any way. Nothing's ever going to happen."

The girl frowned, with the saddest look on her face "Aw! Come on G, what makes you say that?" He mentally raised an eyebrow at her. G? But he answered here anyway "Raven's an empath. She already knows how I feel about her. If she wanted to be with me she would have said something by now." The girl gave a frustrated and sympathetic sigh and went over towards Beastboy, fazed through the wall and put a hand on his shoulder. "Listen G. Here's the thing. With Miss Indie, yeah she's an empath, she can feel others emotions. But that don't mean she always know what those emotions are."

Beastboy looked up at the girl with a confused, almost aggravated look. "Miss Indie? We don't even know who you are and you have pet names for us already?" She smiled. "Don't worry about it G. I'm sure you've been called worse."

"Who are you anyway?"

She smirked at him. "You'll find out soon enough." Then she glanced at the door "Look, we don't have much more time so I need to ask you a favor." Beastboy glanced at the door and then back at her. "What?" he asked, uneasy about the whole thing. "If things go the way I think they're gonna go later, I need your help in convincing Robin to let me stay here."

Beastboy stared at her as if she was crazy "and why would I do that?" he asked with a great deal of resistance. She hesitated for a moment. "It's Raven" she began "sooner or later she's going to realize something. Something huge and I need to be here when that happens."

"What's going to happen?" Beastboy asked eyes big with concern. She looked at him with a sad look on her face. "I can't tell you that." He frowned, a serious demeanor taking over his entire body. It was getting really hard to trust this girl. "Tell me now."

Her face was filled with grief. And Beastboy could sense she was tired, but the type of tired someone gets from repeating the same thing over and over. He knew that kind of tired. He's lived that kind of tired. You don't become a Titan with a leader like Robin and not be that kind of tired. And he could tell that she didn't, or couldn't, tell him what he wanted to know.

He never liked being the demanding one, but he needed answers. "Well?" he asked, growing impatient. She closed her eyes and nursed the bridge of her nose. "Look. G. It's complicated…ok actually it's pretty simple, but complicated to explain. Even if I could tell you." She looked over at the door again "And really, I don't have time. Just…" she paused, her face devoid of all emotion. Beastboy couldn't tell if she was stalling, worried, or just being an over dramatic weirdo.

A few more seconds passed by…"Oh my God!"

Beastboy jumped at the sudden outburst. She grabbed his shoulders and started shaking him. "Oh my GOD!" She had a scary-happy face and it was freaking Beastboy out. "oh my god what?" he asked. "IT'S PERFECT!" she exclaimed as she started floating in the air doing what seemed to be a happy dance. "Hey! Could you please calm the heck down and tell me what is going on?"

She stopped and turned towards Beastboy. A huge toothy grin on her face "I can tell you. And better yet, There's a way you can help."

"Well, great. What's going on?" And then she started heading for the door and locked it. Then she went to the controls and started pressing buttons. "Uh...What are you doing?" Beastboy asked, slightly worried. She stopped to look at him, and then blinked as if coming back to reality. "Oh this?" she gestured to the console "nothing important. I've just always wanted to see what these buttons do." She smiled at him "don't tell me you've never wanted to just randomly push them."

"You're getting off topic here kid." He said, she was starting to give him a headache. "Excuse me?" she said with sass -a hint of an accent starting to show "I just happen to be older than you. So if you're gonna be callin' anyone 'round here kid, it ain't gonna be me. Ya got that?" Beastboy looked at her skeptically "How the hell are you older than me? You're like what, fifteen?"

She stopped. Her eye twitched in annoyance.

She turned towards him with an irritated look on her face. "Ya know what? Just for that…" She reached her hand to his face. As she did Beastboy tried backing away but suddenly realized he couldn't move. And before the panic could set in, he looked to see her hand barely inches from his face.

The next few seconds for Beastboy's moved in slow motion. He tried moving, changing, evening blinking but nothing happened. He was paralyzed into staring at this girl's palm. Now the panic started to sink in. All of his animal instincts- predator and prey alike - were trembling in panic. He never would have thought that were possible. Even deep down he could feel The Beast, always quick to attack and take alpha approach to any situation, stepping down and prepare for whatever fate was about to give him.

He clenched his teeth for what was about to come. It seemed like the anticipation was killing him. He focused back to the girl's hand. And time started moving again. He found his voice and let out a short GAH! Before he felt a sharp and short sting on his forehead.

He was flung back and hit the floor ass first. When he quickly got up he realized he was alone. He leapt to the window to find the girl was sound asleep "Waffles" she said, in a hushed tone. Beastboy furrowed his brows and -just to make sure- looked around the room. He felt like he was forgetting something. He looked to see where he had fell and realized it was off of his chair… "Must've fell asleep." he said to himself. He sat back in the chair and looked at the clock. About 2 hours had passed. He sighed, when is this girl gonna wake up?
