Em had been on the phone since leaving T.M. She had convinced the D.A. to wait to pick Opie up until after the funeral.

They were going to be seeking the death penalty for be Bobby and him. She was afraid she had done all she could do before the murder trial. The only hope either of them had was for the witness to disappear.

Emmy sat on her livingroom floor, back resting against red Suede sofa. Her HP was sitting in front of her on the coffee table. She was waiting for The witness information to be released. She heard a soft "Ping". A Chat bar appeared in the right hand corner of her screen.

'Hey baby'

'How did this thing get on my computer?' She asked.

'Hacked your network and uploaded it through your Wi-Fi connection.'

'You have a pretty good firewall, but it could be a lot better. I'll upgrade it for you later. Tracked that informant down. Happy is checking it out. He knew a scary amount about safe houses. Killer is nuts'

'Is this safe?' She asked suddenly concerned.

'I programmed it to automatically scrub itself every 15 seconds'

'oh.'

'r u ok?

'I can't get Kenny and Ellie out of my head.'

'I know babe, were gonna make this right.'

'We got the info from Oswald.'

Emmy looked at the clock. 3 minutes.

'Good.'

'I love you'

'I love you too'

2 minutes.

'Stop smoking so much. You're going to get lung cancer before you're 30' She messaged. He laughed looking at his empty pack sitting next to him. He had just opened a new one.

"I want you to move in for real'

'Ok, but only if I can pay bills. I don't like living off of you.'

'Ok, I want HBO.' He laughed out loud again.

1 minute.

'you type slow.'

'So?'

'Just sayin'

'I hope you don't have much to move in. I don't want to have to knock down a wall to make that other room a closet. I was planning on making that my shoe room.'

He smiled.

The info was up. "Oh God." She said out loud. The witness was a sixteen year girl that lived in the building.

'Babe.' Juice wrote.

'I see'.

They sat for a while not saying anything. Juice lit his umpteenth cigarette if the day.

'This is shitty' He said.

'I know. It's for the kids babe.' She said it, but it didn't feel right. Donna never would have wanted this.

She shut her laptop computer without bothering to turn it off. She couldn't sit there anymore, she grabbed her keys and left.

It was getting dark when she pulled up in front of Opie's place. She walked up to the door and knocked. Opie's mom Marry opened the door.

"Emmy!" Ellie yelled and launched herself at her.

Marry stepped aside. letting her come in. Emmy had smoothies for the kids. Marry looked at her and took them for her so she could wrap her arms around Ellie.

"That was nice of you sweetie, but they wont eat anything. Kenny walked up and picked up his smoothie off the counter.

"Is this mine?" He asked. Emmy nodded smiling at him.

"Thanks." He said drinking it. "My mom died." He said sounding like he didn't quite understand.

"I know baby, Can I have a hug?"

"Sure" He said coming over.

Opie walked in. "Thanks for staying with them last night" he said looking like shit.

"Anytime".

Ellie came back drinking her smoothie.

"I'm gonna go home, I just wanted to see the kids."

He just nodded.

"Bye guys. I'll see you later." Kenny waved.

"Bye." Ellie said. she turned and made her way home.

Emmy walked in, Juice was sitting on the couch with his feet on the coffee table.

"I was worried. You left your phone here".

"I'm sorry, I didn't even notice. I went to see Opie and the kids."

"How are they?"

"About how you think."

Emmy walked over and cuddled into his body.

The next morning was a somber one. 'I have plenty of black' She thought looking through her large closet.

Juice had brought over a lot of his clothes the night before.

Emmy had cleared out a section for him.

She was trying to figure out shoes to wear when Juice came up behind her and wrapped his arms around her.

"Thank you." he whispered in her ear.

"For what?" She asked confused.

"Not giving up on me. I'm glad you found me. Used to look you up a lot. I stalked the shit out of you for a long time. I just wanted to see if you seemed happy. I didn't have the guts to talk to you, so thank you."

She found this incredible sweet.

"They didn't kill that witness by the way".

"What?!" She asked now worried about Opie.

"Jax took care of it. Scared the shit out of her. She left the state. Em', I have to go to the clubhouse. All the guys are meeting up to ride in the procession".

"I'll come with you" she said grabbing the first black pair of shoes she saw.

She pulled them on and climbed on the back of Juices bike.

"You've never ridden with me." He said coming to the realization passing her the helmet.

"It will mess up my hair.." She said looking at him.

"So will having your brains splattered by a semi. Put it on."

"Yes sir". She said. She liked it when he told her what to do.

Back at TM There was a lot of hugging and crying. Motorcyclist came out in droves to show Opie their support. Some people stared when She and Juice walked around hand in hand. Some people didn't notice. Neither of them gave a damn.

Emmy rode to the cemetary with Gemma and Wendy. There was a sad silence in Gemma Cadillac.

"I heard about you and Juice" Wendy said. "I'm happy for you".

"Thank you" She said.

"Clay told me". Gemma said. "I acted real shocked".

Emmy nodded a thank you.

The funeral procession started. The woman sat in the front row. Juice came and stood directly behind her. Her put his arm on her shoulder. Ellie was to her right, Tara to her left. She sat holding Ellie's hand.

After a few minutes, Jax walked up looking hung over and like he had gotten in a fight. His lip was busted. Tara stood up and took His cut from Juice. She walked over And put it on him. She kissed him in front of the group. Showing Wendy and Gemma that she wouldn't be going anywhere. Jax walked up to Donna's casket, picked up a blue carnation Kissed it, set it gently back on her casket and walked away. Piney followed a few minutes later.

The service ended. Everyone was headed back to the clubhouse for the reception. They walked to Juice's bike. He pulled off the bright orange funeral sticker.

"I think I've had enough sad for one day". He said looking at her. "Let's go see that new Matt Damon movie."

"Who?" She asked jokingly It was amazing how this man could make everything good again.

Thank you for reading! I am definitely writing a sequel, I didn't realize how limited I would be by the first season!
