Chapter Three

Kagome looked at the two cubs, they were both looking at her with curiosity. She could tell that the cubs haven't' been around a new cub in a while from the looks they were giving her.

"Hi!" the male cub, Simba, came closer looking at her. He had never seen white fur before. It was something he had heard about his Dad. That white furred lions were farther away. They had used to be close to where they were now but moved once food got low years ago, "What's your name?"

Kagome stayed where she was, "Kagome..." She looked at the ground, "It's nice to meet you." It was. She hadn't been around cubs in forever. Kagome didn't know how long she was in that cage...it seemed like a long time to her.

"I don't remember ever seeing white fur's here in the Pride Land before..." Nala mentioned as she looked at Kagome in awe. Her fur was pretty, and Nala loved things that were shinny and pretty.

"Umm..." Kagome didn't know what to say. She didn't really want to talk about her past.

Sarabi sighed sadly as she gave Kagome a reassuring push before looking at the cubs, "Her family and pride are no longer here, so she will be apart of our pride for now..."

Sarabi looked at her little cub and saw his eyes widen at this, "gone?" He didn't understand the concept of death yet, and she didn't want to give him that lesson so soon.

"Yes, She will be staying with us from now on..." the mother lioness looked at the small white lion who seemed so out of place in her pride.

Simba and Nala looked at the white lion before looking at one another, "Can we go show her around?"

Kagome didn't know how she felt like that, she wanted to stay close to the pride after what she went through.

Sarabi looked at Kagome, then at the two hopeful cubs, "You can show her around, but stay close. I don't want you going too far."

The two cubs cheered, looked at Kagome, "Come on. We will start with the watering hole!"

Kagome slowly followed the two, before looking at Sarabi, who pushed her forward, "Go. Have fun. Be careful of your wounds, though."

Kagome nodded, before going to the two cubs who were vibrating with excitement to have another cub around to play with.

Kagome hoped this new pride was a good thing. She lost one...she couldn't lose another one.

Rafiki looked at his tree, trying to figure out what was going on with the two-leggers. So far he didn't have much information to go by.

He listened to the spirits, hoping they would give him something to go by on how to get the spirits.

"Rafiki. You there!" The baboon glanced over at the figure coming close.

"Your Majesty." The baboon bowed, using his walking stick as leverage. He stood back up and gave a grin to the old lion.

"Have you found anything yet?" Mufasa inquired, looking at his old friend. He wanted to find a way to get rid of the two-leggers. The new addition to his pride made him want to get rid of them even more.

"No'ten as of yet. I will keep on try'n" Rafiki told the King of Lions.

Mufasa nodded, as he sat next to the baboon. He would have to keep his eyes open for more information.

He just hoped those two-leggers didn't come back. He would just have to stay on guard till Rafiki found more information out.

Yuki Note: This chapter was REALLY hard. Sadly, I am doing the same thing as AkumaChibi...all our stories are put on paper, folded and put in a shoebox and one is picked at a time...
