A Romantic Beautiful Night
I breath in the fresh air at the clock tower's balcony. It seem like a great place for me to relax and to relief stress. The sun was starting to set, then the sunset turns into midnight, it seem rare that Wonderland sort of, goes in the correct order.
"Huh, what a beautiful sunset it was." I sighed. I leaned against the stone railing bar. I saw that the amusement park had all their rides light up the night and the Hatter Mansion had one spot that was lit because of a tea party. Finally the Castle of Hearts had ever spotlight pointed at the castle to show a royalty look.
"Alice?" I heard that voice behind me and I saw that is was Julius the clockmaker. He is the owner of the Clock Tower and repairs the residents clock also known as hearts.
"Oh, Julius, what are you doing here?" I asked him.
"I live here." He replied with his calm tone.
"That's not what I mean." I said to him. I put my hands on my hips.
"I know," He said when he walked towards me. "I was just wondering where you were."
Julius looked at the view, I just looking at. It's was beautiful and seeing him here made it unbelievable. I looked up and saw that the moon was full.
"Alice, come and look at this." He said. I turned my head to the directions he was talking about. There was flowers at the bottom of the tower, that looked like Moonflowers but it was glowing a purplish-blue color instead of a faint white glow.
"Their beautiful…" I breath, as I started to lean against the railing again. "What are they?"
Julius glance at me, then looked at the flowers. "They are Moonflowers, I'm guessing that these are different from your world." He seems to have muttered that last part.
"Yeah, they are. My ….my ex, showed me these but they were glowing a faint white color, not like these one." I said. A cold breeze blow at me, I had to hug myself to stop from shivering.
"Here," Julius grabbed me and put something around my small frame. I saw that is was his jacket. "Just so you wouldn't get cold." I looked at his face, I didn't realized that there was a blush forming on his face.
I shuffled the jacket so it could fix a bit better on me. "Julius…"
"Yes?"
"Thank you." I smiled.
He gave me a nod, saying to me "Your welcome."
We both continue to watch the flowers glow, all of a sudden there was fireworks started to go off at the park.
"Alice…" Julius started. He grabbed one of my hands and used the other to pull my chin up, so I can look at his dark blue eyes.
"Yes?" I asked, excitement was boiling in my heart. Though I didn't know the reason.
He came close to my face, where our noses was touching. My face grew hot and I was sure that a blush was on my cheeks.
"I love you…" Julius whispered. We both kiss each other, it was a forceful kiss but it was also a gently one. He had held my waist and held my hand.
We slowly moved our faces away from each other and stared at each other.
"I love you, too, Julius." I smiled, I looked at the moonflowers and saw that they were all growing to fullest. The fireworks at the park were starting to exploded bigger and more colorful. The lights are the mansion and the castle were even more brighter.
"Why did you kiss?" I asked him.
"Because I didn't want to waste this moment, that seem for us." He smiled.
I made this story when i was listening to some music and looking up flowers. I thought it would be a great story, so i made it. I trying to work on others one-shot but it's hard coming up with ideas. Anyway, tell me what you think.
