"Are you kidding me?" Kim said, staring at the screen before her. "Seriously?"
"What's up?" Bonnie asked as she walked into the room, looking at the redhead who was curled up on a beanbag chair with a laptop on her legs.
"Someone just posted a review on one of my Pals stories." She said.
"Which one?"
"Eternal flame." Kim said and Bonnie nodded.
"Mmm. I like that one. So what's wrong?" Bonnie asked as she sat down next to the redhead, her arm casually around her shoulder.
"Listen to this. Becker wrote: 'Look at you. You're such a meanie using Sarah to ruin Kiera and Eric's true love. I don't understand why you SaKi authors think Sarah and Kiera are gay. Maybe you people figure two strong and independent women must lesbians. I don't know. I just wish you would stop Eric hating." She said. "And he didn't even have the gall to have an account. He posted this rant without an account so I can't even reply."
"Wow. What a piece of work. Stop 'Eric hating'? Wow. And you're a meanie because you're ruining their true love… are you kidding? It's fanfiction! You're the author."
"Yeah." She said, nodding. "So if I want to make two 'strong independent' women lesbians, then so be it. Can I help it if I think that they'd make a good couple? Kiara's spunky, energetic, and vivacious while Sarah is mature, elegant, and sensual… they're such a smoking hot pair."
"Especially in Endless Nights… that was downright debauched."
"You loved every page of it."
"Especially when you read it to me." She said as she nuzzled Kim's neck.
"It just irks me that he didn't even have the balls to allow for a reply to his one-sided criticism."
"That's just it. He's a coward abusing the system to anonymously hate on your work." She said. "I don't see why you allow people to comment without having accounts. I mean really…"
"Some people don't have accounts but still leave positive reviews and I want them to be able to comment if they like. I just wish that if someone had something negative to say to me about my writing that he'd be man enough to face a retort instead of posting and hiding behind anonymity."
"Meh. He's a troll."
"Trolls suck." Kim grunted and Bonnie giggled.
"He's really got your goat doesn't he?" She asked and reached out for the computer. "Why don't you and I do something to take your mind off that troll… shall we?"
"But… but…"
"There's plenty of time to flame Becker the Troll later…" She said and closed the laptop, setting it to the side as she sat astride her wife's hips with a gleam in her eye. "First things first… you've got me fired up talking about Endless Nights…"
She leaned down and mashed her lips to Kim's with a deep moan that the redhead soon echoed as the sensations began.
THE END.
Thanks for reading this super-short piece of commentary. It's just like above. This is FanFiction. That means the author controls the story and the characters dance to their whim. If they don't like a pairing, they break it or tweak it. If they prefer a different one, they do what they will. And if you've got something negative to say, have the stones to say it in such a way as to allow a retort. Thank you.
