AN: Hey, readers! It's Mem. Sooo My parents have banned Fanfiction from my house, so don't expect frequent updates. I'll probably bring in the Soul Eater crew to critique this work of mine later but I'm in a rush.

Sorry if there's any mistakes! Typing this really fast (in secret, too!)

Disclaimer:

Kiddo: Sadly, Mem here doesn't own any rights WHATSOEVER when it comes to Soul Eater. But she owns herself *shrug* You're lucky your symmetrical, Mem. or else you'd be the one in the disclaimer.

Mem; I know! NOW READ MY MINIONS! (jk!)

19:52, February 8th

San Diego, Balboa Park, Naval Medical Center San Diego

The night wore on. A girl with long black hair stood by a door. She was only 8. Her mother was inside the room. She was bringing her baby sister into the world.

The baby wasn't due for another month.

Every once in a while, her father would peek out of the room to check on his daughter.

In the room

"It's 8. We've been in here for almost 3 hours…" Julia Rise could hear her husband, Lucas Rise, muttering. If what he said was true, her first-born daughter, Christen, had been waiting alone for 3 hours!

Short time skip

It was over. At 8:08 pm, Memory Alexis Rise was born. She had her father's hazel eyes, and they had hardly shed a tear as she entered her life. She had given her father a strange sense of déjà vu, so they named her Memory (better than déjà vu!). "Born at 8:08!" her mother said. "She's bound to be lucky."

All was happy and well, but as you all know, all good things must come to an end.

7:56, July 19th

NYC, the Bronx, Lutheran Medical Center

The sounds of crying filled the room. It was a bright morning and the Sun was visible above the New York skyline.

"It's a girl!" the doctor shouts. Cheers erupt and the parents couldn't be happier. The baby already has small red hairs growing from her head and her bright green eyes are glimmering with unshed tears.

"What should we name her?" The mother's voice is soft, but she musters up enough strength to ask.

Her husband replies. "Ginger Rose McAllister. She has your hair."

Small smiles are shared between the two; they knew their daughter was destined for greatness. Jonathan and Rebecca McAllister couldn't be happier

Ginger's cries had subsides and she glanced curiously up at her parents.

"Welcome to the world, Ginger."

AN: BTW I'm a Kid die hard :) so There'll be lots of 8s. Also, 8 has been my favorite number since forever (even before I started watching Soul Eater!)
