Falling from favour
Ness pulled out his laptop out of his backpack and sat down. It was night as that was the only free time he could get between the melees and the target tests. Quickly logging onto fanfiction.net he wondered what new stories he would see on it. He quietly went onto the Super Smash Bros section. You would expect that he would make some response to the fics he read but all he did is sit their in stony cold silence, glaring.
Next day at the smash bros cafeteria..
"Hey-a Mario" Luigi said. He elbowed his brother who was eating some spaghetti. "What-a Luigi" Mario said curiously, wiping off his mouth with a napkin. "Look at-a Ness. Did-a his dog die?" Luigi said. Mario could see what his brother was talking about. Usually Ness was the centre of attention showing off with his yo-yo and PK tricks but a he was just sitting glumly, barely nibbling at his burger and fries. "Come on-a Luigi, spread-a the word . We are going to figure out what's up".
Ness hardly noticed the whole wave of smashers approaching. "Ness" said the steel cold yet motherly voice of Samus Aran "what's wrong". He could no longer suppress his true feelings. "This" he said as he pulled out his laptop. After logging onto fanfiction.net he showed them what he was talking about. "Look at me" he said on the verge of blowing up the laptop with his powers. "The beat up Ness fest' is just a celebration of their hatred for me. In 'Kill the moronic' the whole fic is a present to someone. and it's about me getting beat up".
"Hey don't take it to hard" C. Falcon said "Those authors always portray me as gay just because of a pink and white outfit I have. I mean geesh". "People always think of me as the inferior brother" Luigi added. "Authors think I am some kind of bleach blonde bimbo" Peach commented. "Pi pich pi pich pichu pi" said Pichu. Finally Ness spoke up again "But people are always joking when they talk about you guys. And Pichu has supporters like Dr Nick.who hates me. But these people loathe me"
"Well as far as I can tell these authors have no reason to spread hate about you" said the ever logical MewTwo. "If it is because of your extraordinary looks then they should take in mind that you were from a Snes game with bad graphics" MewTwo droned. "We know these sickos shouldn't be trusted after what they wrote about Nana and me" *shudders* Popo said. "And the final thing" added Link "is that if these people bash a character who they have know chance of meeting, who would whoop them in real life then lets let them type their little stories and play there little games. After all, if there that pathetic then its best that there isolated to there mothers basement.
At this Ness smiled "Yeah. Why should I care if someone says they fired 'exploder guns at me"Ness cheered up and everything went back to normal.
But whenever Ness read about a fan on the net he sent them a little psychic message saying "Don't give up. I believe in you" just to cheer them up Authors note:So what do you think.All flames will be shredded by Meowth
