A/N: I'm so sorry for the extremely late update but I've been really really busy and my life was a huge mess but it's getting back on track. So hopefully, this means more frequent updates? I'm not sure myself but hey you know what they say, reviews are always welcome. Glee is not mine no matter how hard I want it to.
Chapter 7: Excuse me?
Letting Rachel rest on his chest, Puck tries to remain quiet although he is practically bursting with questions. Who is surfer dude? What is it about him that made Rachel so affected? Who is Rachel Berry exactly? He looked around the room that is bustling with activity and made eye contact with Josh. The Greenvale jock looked at him weirdly – as though he was giving him a once over – before looking at the girls and smirked while nodding slowly. Raising his eyebrow, Puck looked at Josh and mouthed, "What?"
Josh grinned and looked at Rachel before looking back at Puck and mouthed back, "Her." Puck's eyes widened and he looked away wondering how the hell Josh knows that he likes, no wait, loves Rachel. It made him wonder whether it was that obvious. Danielle walked towards Puck and nudged Rachel with her foot. "Bitch, wake up. You have to sit in the auditorium already so get your ass moving!" Rachel jerked slightly before rubbing her eyes slowly, "I wasn't asleep!" she sulked before making her way to the dressing table to touch up.
"Alright Gleeks let's go to the auditorium!" Rachel said before walking out of the drama room. The members wished good luck to the Greenvale drama members before following Rachel out. Hooking their arms together, Brittany, Santana and Rachel walked hurriedly towards the auditorium as the show will start in approximately 15 more minutes and they still have to find the seats of the whole Glee club. After sitting comfortably, Rachel whispered to Puck who is sitting beside her, "Tell the members to look at how they perform and sing. It can help us for Sectionals." Puck just nodded and passed the message to the whole row of members.
The showbell rang once to inform the audience that the show is about to start. Rachel clapped her hands excitedly and made herself comfortable in the seat. The show started and the Glee members were in awe with the whole show. The choreography, the singing and the acting was on-point. The performance was practically flawless. Rachel clapped loudly and gave a standing ovation along with the whole auditorium.
Back in the drama room, Rachel was hugging everyone involved and congratulating them on a splendid performance. Everyone looked ecstatic that Rachel liked their performance and the whole drama room was practically brimming with happiness. However, it came to a sudden dip in atmosphere when Luke and Jasmine entered the drama room. The both of them acted as though the tension wasn't there and sat down before congratulating the performers. Jasmine even had the nerve to look at Simon and huffed, "Well Simon, where is my white mocha?" Simon who just came back with Rachel's latte macchiato looked startled before saying, "You can't order me around Jasmine and besides, you can ask Luke to get it for you."
Rachel grinned at Simon and covered her mouth with her hand, trying to smother her laughter. Jasmine sneered, "If you can get a drink for that bitch, you can get a drink for me." Simon laughed, "You've got to be kidding me. I am not getting a drink for you" before sitting down beside Rachel. Stacy laughed and said, "Well why are you here? You're not invited so please leave. Both of you." Luke looked at her in disbelief, "We're students of Greenvale! We have more rights to be here than them!"
"I don't think so. Rachel is the ex-president of the drama club so she has a right to be here. You're not even in our drama club so please leave!" Jasmine huffed before standing up, pulling Luke with her. "You're going to regret this, you bitch! I can make your life a living hell! Watch out, Berry!"
