Here it is the last Chapter of this story, Enjoy

The rain fell slowly putting up out the fire that the lightening had started it by striking the dead tree. As the fire dies the other lionesses gathered around Kagome as they waited to see who would come down from the top of the rock, who had won the battle of the throne.

The orange paint in Kagome's fur started to run down her sides as it washed out. Luckily none of it went near her eyes and Kagome looked towards her sensei as he stood by the beginning of pride rocks raised ledged rock.

Rafiki turned his head towards her direction when he felt like someone was looking at him. In seeing her giving him thankful eyes, trying to express all her gratitude for what he had done for her he gave a low bow of his head in which she returned with a respectful one of her own.

"Kagome?" a shaken voice called to her. Th white lioness turned in the direction of her name being called to see it had been Sarabi. It was her mother that was looking at her with sad, sorrowful eyes. It looked as if she was looking upon a ghost and didn't want to find out if it was one or the real thing.

"It's me mum" Kagome said confidently as she got up from where she was sat and walked slowly towards her mother. For so long Kagome had wanted to return to this place, for so long she had dreamed of the moment that she could greet her mother again, to rub up against her mother's warmth.

"Oh great kings" Sarabi whispered as she ran the small distance between the two before leaning on her hind feet to wrap her two front legs around her daughter, her lost daughter, the daughter that the great kings had returned to her. "You're real" she said with tears slowly spilling from her eyes.

"Your both real" Sarabi continued to murmur as she rubbed her head over the top of the white lioness, not caring that the frit paint was getting on her damp chin or that it was rubbing it all over the top of Kagome's head.

"We're home mum" Kagome whispered. She had sat herself down when Sarabi's legs had hugged her to help the older lioness keep balance. She enjoyed the feeling of her mother's warmth around her once again.

The other lionesses start gather around the mother daughter seen, all with happy looks and glazed over eyes. They all had known how sad the queen had become when she found out the news of her family being taken from her; they all knew how happy the queen must have been to find her cubs again, to find them alive and well.

Everything was falling into place, but there was still one thing that needed to happen before they could all relax and enjoy the freedom that would come from the ridding of the hyenas. That one thing was that they needed to know; who had won? Who was their king?

It was at that moment the smoke started to let up and a lone figure was walking to towards them. The figure was defiantly one of a male lion. Kagome moved out of her mother warmth and stood tall; preparing to take on the male if it had been Simba that had fallen in the fight.

There was no way that she would let her uncle stand back into the position as king of pride rock, she would rather die trying to fight him then see that day again. Nala saw this change in Kagome's standing moved to stand beside her.

She too would not let the monster of a lion stand if he had indeed succeeded in victory of his and Simba's fight. She had seen too much suffering by the horrible male's paws and would not stand for it any longer. Plus if it is Scar that is victor that meant that Simba was dead, something Nala wasn't ready to live through again.

Much to the delight, relief and gratitude of the various lionesses watching as the red maned victor walked towards them. It was Simba that had come down from the fight; it was Simba that would take his place as pride rocks rightful King.

He walked towards the crowd, Sarabi being the first that he greeted with a head rub, Kagome not being that far from her mother had been next as she smiled at her brother and gave him a head butt when he tried to rub against her so that he was faced in Nala's direction.

Simba only gave a slight chuckle at his sister's antics, enjoying this new side of his sister a more playful, confident side rather than her timid and worrying one of when they were younger. He wasn't sure how his sister had become the lioness she was but he was looking forward to hearing the story.

But right now he took his sisters hint and rubbed his head affectionately against Nala's as she returned it just as affectionately. Kagome, Sarabi and Sarafina smiled at the scene, the two mother lionesses leaning on each other as they watched their not-so-cubs offer their love to one another.

Rafiki also watched on the show but knew it was time for the new king to take his place. So he gentle shakes his staff to make a small rattling noise to catch the prides attention. Once he sees Simba is looking at him he motions for Simba to ascend Pride Rock, to walk to the ledge and take his place.

Simba understands this signal and gives Nala one more rub before he start the walk towards the ledge rock. He only pauses to give the old baboon a hug. Rafiki, though supposed by the sub-adults actions as it was much like the ones Mufasa gave him, returned the hug.

"It is time" Rafiki told Simba as he pulled away from the male lion and gestured with the end of his staff to the rock. Simba gives a slight nod of understanding before starting a much slower ascension to the peak ledge of the old rock, rain still falling from the sky onto the land, though all the fire is out.

To some it may seem like a sign that the great kings of the past had the skies flood the land with rain to cleanse it before the new king take it over. This was the theory that Kagome was sticking too, that her father was there aiding Simba in the only way he could now; from above.

As Simba reached the top of the rock, and stood on the ledge there was a small parting in the clouds that let in a small rays of light from the star above that shown right at pride rock. There was one star that shone the brightest of the small patch that were visible.

From where she stood Kagome could have sworn that Simba was listening to someone before Simba's expression grew in confidence and she could see strength return to the male eyes as he looked up at the sky.

Simba let out a load victorious roar that echoed over the land, a signal to others for miles that the pride lands had a new king; a sign to let others know that the rightful king now sat on the throne of pride rock.

As tradition all the lionesses of the pride let roars out of their own in reply to their King's roar before both the king and lionesses let out the last roar, the roar of unity.
