Authors Notes: Hey guys I know it's been a while since my last post, but here is another chapter for you guys and I hope you enjoy it and tell your friends to read my story as well.

Denise walks into the main office. "Good morning Macy. Can I have the list of field trips that Ms. Cyrus dropped off before she left?"

Macy hands her the list. "Here it is. The list looks expense. Who is going to pay for these field trips? This school can't afford trips like this. This is why we never took the children to these places."

Denise looks at the list and then at Macy. "Yea, but Ms. Cyrus thought we could do a fundraiser to help and try to raise the money. None of these trips are finalized there just ideas. Don't worry about it." Just then Nick walks in. "Hey Nick."

"Hey mom. I just came in to see you before I left for work." Nick said and then kissed his mom on the cheek.

"How did the call go with Hannah Montana's manger?"

Nick signs. "It didn't yet. I'm waiting to hear back from him. What if she changed her mind and doesn't want to work with me after all."

"Nick I'm sure she and her manger will call you soon." Denise as she pats her son on the back.

"I hope you are right." Nick said and then his phone beeped and he looks at him. "OMJ. Hannah's manager just texted me setting up a lunch meeting for today." Nick said with a huge smile.

Denise smiles at her son's excitement. "See I told you he would reach out to you. You better go and get ready for your lunch meeting with Hannah's manger."

"Thanks mom. Love you."Nick said as he kissed her on the cheek. "I will call you as soon as the meeting is over so I can tell you how it went." Nick said as he was rushing out the door.

Denise shakes her head and walks into her office. Macy looks around. "How did he ever get a meeting with Hannah Montana's manger?" She shrugs then shakes her head. "Oh well. Once he gets that contract he is going to be rich and Macy likes them cute and rich."

Meanwhile with Miley in her classroom, kids are finally starting to show up. "Good morning Ms. Cyrus." Mikey said with a smile.

Miley smiles back. "Good Morning Mikey. Are you ready to learn and have fun today?" Mikey nods his head. "Good. Why don't you go on the carpet with your friends and have free time and then when everyone gets here we will start."Mikey nods and runs off to play with his friends.

Justin runs up to Miley. "Ms. Cyrus is Chaz and Mimi married?"

Miley gets down to his level. "Well I don't think so. I just thought they were best friends."

"Oh like me and Sarah!" Justin says with a smile.

"Yeah like you and Sarah. But hey sometime best friends fall in love with each other and be together forever."

Justin makes a yucky face. "Yuck! Me and Sarah will always be best friends for ever. We just won't fall in love. Girls are yucky. Well not you, mama and Sarah"

Miley laughs. "You just think that now. Soon you will be sixteen and talking about girls with your best bud."

"If you say so." Justin says walking away shaking his head.

Later that day during recess Justin walks up to Sarah. "Hey Sarah, what to play tag?"

"No thank you."

"Ok how about cops and robbers?"

"No I don't want to play with you."

"Why not; where best friends that what best friends do."

"I don't want to be your best friend anymore!" Sarah yells at Justin

Justin tears up. "Why? We have so much fun together."

"Cause I just don't!" Sarah says and walks away.

After recess is over all the kids walk back in and take their seats. "Ok class now that you have got your energy out how about you guys finish on with your projects. Pair up with your partner and finish on up." Miley says.

All the children pair up except Justin and Sarah. "Justin and Sarah why are you two not paired up?"

"Because I don't want to be Justin's partner anymore." Said Sarah.

Miley looks at Justin and sees tears in his eyes. "Why is that Sarah? I thought you and Justin are best friends."

"Not anymore." Said Justin.

Miley looks to Justin then Sarah. "Ok you two, I don't know what's going on but you two have a project to do so make up and get to work." Miley said.

"I don't want to work with him." Sarah said pointing to Justin.

"Ok you to my desk now." They all walk to Miley's desk. "What is going on with you two?"

"I don't know. I asked Sarah to play with me outside and she said no and told me that we are not best friends anymore."

"Sarah why did you say that? You to love to play together and can never keep you two from working together or playing together for that matter."

"Because we are not." Sarah said crossing her arms over her chest.

Miley looks to Justin. "Why don't you go back to your seat and finish working on your project. I want to talk to Sarah." Justin walks back to his seat. "Ok Sarah what's wrong just yesterday you two were playing and laughing together."

"Nothing's wrong. I just don't want to be his friend anymore."

"And that's your choice Sarah. But you and Justin and good friends if he did something to make you mad you should talk to him about it."

"Why? You did talk to my mom when she made you mad."

Miley signs. "That was different and I should have talked to your mom about what happened. And you know what?"

"What?" Sarah asked.

"I missed a lot of years and time with your mom because of it and I wish I didn't because we were so close. That's why we are going to talk it all out today."

"Really?" Sarah said.

"Really. Now do you want to tell me what wrong?"

"I heard my mom say that my daddy is not my daddy." Sarah said with her head down and tears in her eyes.

Miley gasps. "Are you sure that's what she said." Sarah nods. "Sarah your daddy is your daddy. Just because he is not your blood daddy doesn't mean he isn't your daddy. He was there when you were born, he takes care of you, and most importantly he loves you. Sometimes our daddy's and mommy's are not out blood mommy's and daddy's but they picked us because they love us so much that it hurts."

"Is that what my daddy did? He picked me because he loves me."

"You can bet your smile that he did."

Sarah smiles really big. "Good because I love my daddy a lot. But how come they didn't tell me?"

"You will have to ask your mommy and daddy that. You can ask them all the questions you want about it they won't get mad at you Sarah."

"Ok. I will ask them. Thank you . I better go tell Justin I'm sorry and tell him we're best friends again."

"Yes you should. And Sarah if you every want to talk you can talk to me, your parents, or any adult you trust ok."

"Ok ." Sarah says and runs off to Justin.

Miley sits at her desk a little while longer when she hears Sarah and Justin laughing. She smiles and walks over to another group of students to help them out.

Meanwhile with Nick at his office, there's a knock on his door. "Come on in Lacey." Lacey, Nick's assist opens the door. "What can I do for you Lacey?"

"Mr. Jonas the conference room is all set up for when Mr. Montana gets here."

"Thank you Lacey and the food?" Nick asks turns and looks at her.

"Will be here in the next 10 minutes."

"Thank you Lacey. This meeting needs to go well. If I can get the opportunity to work with Hannah Montana it will be a great opportunity. She was one of the best before she left and you will be getting a well deserved raise." Nick said. "And I have just the perfect song in mind for her."

Lacey smiles. "What song would that be Mr. Jonas?"

"I was thinking Drive or Adore You. What do you think Lacey?"

"I think they will both be great for her to sing Mr. Jonas. You wrote both the songs?"

"Yes. I wrote Drive a while back and Adore is a new song I just wrote." Nick said smiling.

"That's great Mr. Jonas." She looks at the clock. "Well I better get ready for when the food comes in a few minutes. I will let you know when Mr. Montana gets here."

"Thank you Lacey." Nick said as Lacey walks out his office.

20 minutes later Lacey knock on Nicks door and walks in. "Mr. Jonas, Mr. Montana is here and waiting for you in the conference room."

"Thank you Lacey." Nick walks out of his office with Lacey following. "Lacey hold all my calls unless it's important." They walk into the conference room where Mr. Montana is sitting. "Mr. Montana I'm sorry about the wait. It's good to meet you." Nick said.

Mr. Montana stood up and shook Nick's hand. "No wait at all Mr. Jonas and please call me Robby."

"Only if you call me Nick. This is my assistant Lacey, if you need anything she will be coming in from time to time and you can ask her."

"Thank you. Right now I am ok."

"Ok well I ordered us some lunch so when you are ready we can just ask Lacey to bring it in. Thank you Lacey. Why don't you go head and take a break until we need you."

"Thank you Mr. Jonas. It was great to meet you Mr. Montana." Lacey said then left.

"Nice assistance you got her Nick."

"Thank you. She is the best assistance I had so far."

"I can tell. She was so polite when I came in, making sure I didn't want anything."

"Well nothing but the best for my clients and potential clients."

"Well should we get this meeting started." Robby said as they both took a seat.

"Let me start by say that it's a pleasure to just be having this meeting with you even if Ms. Montana decides not to work with me."

"Thank you Nick, it's a pleasure to be in this meeting with you as well. My daughter and I have heard good things about you in this business. The songs you and your team wrote are so good."

"Thank you. Working with Ms. Montana and you of course will be fun and great. I have to songs in mind for Ms. Montana. One is called Drive and the other song is called Adore You. Would you like to hear them?"

"Yes please if that is possible."

"No problem. Let me see if my assistance already set it up." Nick looks on his laptop to see that his assistance already had it set up for them. "And she did. Here are a clip of both songs." Nick plays the clips.

Once the clips end. "Nick the songs are great who wrote them?" Robby asks looking at Nick.

"I wrote both of them. Drive I wrote a while back and Adore you is a new song I just wrote."

"Wow you really have talent. Songs about things that happened in your life?"

"Yea wasn't so sure that I was ever going to put Drive out there but I feel now is the time and with the right artist my story will be told just the way I need it to be. That's when I had the idea to try and get Ms. Montana to sing my track."

"Please call her Hannah. If she was here she would ask you to do so. Sorry she couldn't be here. She will be in the next meeting that we have and from what I am hearing with these songs there will be another meeting."

There was a knock on the door then Lacey came in. "Mr. Jonas, Mr. Montana can I get you guys anything. Lunch is ready when you are." Lacey said.

Nick looks to Robby to answer. "Sure Lacey lunch sounds nice."

"Thank you Lacey." Nick said as Lacey walks out.

Meanwhile with Miley kids are being picked up from school. "See you tomorrow Mikey." Miley waves as he is going out the door with his dad.

"Justin why don't show Sarah the new songs you learned on the piano." Miley said to Justin and Sarah who are the last two in the classroom.

"Ok come on Sarah." They run off to the piano well Miley cleans up from the mess the kids made then walks over to them. "I see you are showing Sarah the song my parents used to sing to me when I was you guys age." Miley says as she sits on the piano bench next to them.

"Yeah, can you sing it for us Ms. Cyrus?" Sarah asked.

"Ok." Miley sings the song.

"You know I used to love to hear you sing." Lilly said as she walked in.

They all turned around. "Lilly." Miley said walking up to her.

"Mommy Ms. Cyrus just singed a song for us." Sarah said as she ran up to Lilly.

Lilly picked her up. "I heard bug. She great at singing isn't she?" Lilly said looking at Miley.

"Yeah she is."

"Sarah why don't you finish playing on the piano with Justin." Miley said.

"Ok Ms. Cyrus." Sarah said running over to Justin.

"Ummm I should really get Sarah home. Thank you for keeping her." Lilly said going to walk away.

"Lilly wait." Lilly stop walking. "Lilly I really think we should talk."

"Let me guess Jake told you." Lilly said turning around to face Miley.

"No. He just reminded me of how close we used to be. Lilly before the stuff with Liam happened we were so close. I miss that Lilly."

"Why now?"

"Why now what Lilly?"

"Why talk to me now about it Miley. I begged you for months to hear me out. Why now?" Lilly said with tears in her eyes.

"To be honest Lilly it's because I now realized that I really made a mistake about what I was seeing between you and Liam. Lilly I just want to talk to you and try and get our friendship back."

Lilly stares at Miley. "I tried to tell you all those years ago."

"I know Lilly. It's my fault for pushing you away and not giving you the chance to explain. But I was so hurt seeing my best friend and the guy I thought I loved together. I should have known something wasn't right."

"I was your best friend Miley. How can you think I would do that to you? After everything we have been through? You have been there for me throw everything." Lilly said with tears coming down her face. "How can we fix this Miley?"

Miley hugs her tight."I really don't know Lilly but we have to Lilly. We have to. Now that I have seen you again I just can't let you pass by me again. I need my best friend back. We will get through this Lilly. We just have to talk it out and be honest with each other. Please Lilly can we try and fix this?"

"I would really like that. I miss you too Miley." Lilly said hugging her back.
