Chapter 10. Fall in Saitama part two.

(- on board Conrelia's G1 commander center-)

" The Saitama Ghetto is now completely surrounded. The Yamoto is located somewhere inside and half of the people within these neighborhood's have been rumored to be cooperating with them. So if we proceed now Ma'am."

" What will be the effect on production?" Cornelia asked

" Primary sector output should decrease by 0.2 percent."

" Within expectations you mean, alright. Have you studied the reports we recovered from the Shinjuku disaster."

" Yes princess Cornelia. Thou I must admit the battle strategy that were used wasn't the most effective in my opinion."

" That's not what I'm asking. Are the condition's similar?"

"Similar your highness?"

" Yes. To those in Shinjuku..."

(- Saitama Ghetto-)

A young child was looking outside the meek apartment at the Brittianian gunships in the air while soldiers and tanks were tearing through the streets. He saw a group of people being cornered by a squad and were quickly gunned down. The sight of seeing people bleeding and screaming before suddenly going quiet made the boy drop down as if to prevent the squad from knowing that he was just above them. He put a hand over his mouth to keep himself from screaming while he kept on looking outside. A loud boom made the child gasp as a large black cloud soon erupted from a building near where he lived. He couldn't help but wonder why this was happening, why was the military doing this and what did they do to deserve this.

Even with those thoughts running through his mind he couldn't look away from what was happening outside until the front door to the apartment suddenly opened. He saw his mother standing in the door way with a frantic look on her face as she looked throughout the apartment until her eyes landed on him.

" Sai?!/ Sai?! We need to leave!"

" Mom? What going on? Why are we leaving?"

" There's no time to explain Sai! We need to leave before they find us alright sweety."

She made her way over to the boy pulling him away form the window.

" al-alright, but where are we going?" The boy asked as he let himself be lead by his mother looking off to the side to see other people from his neighborhood fleeing in the same direction. A sudden sound of something exploding followed by the sounds of gunfire made the boy yelp in fear and grip his mothers had more tightly. The mother stopped and turned and looked at the boy making her eyes lock with his in order to address him clearly.

" We going head for a safe place to hide and just hope the fighting will be over quickly." The mother said to help reassure her child as the screams echoed throughout the building. Leaning down to her sons level the woman quickly lifted Sai partially over her shoulder. The woman started to pick up her pace as she ran towards a flight of stairs away from the other fleeing people. All Sai could see was the some of those same frantic people following behind them or in small groups crying over lost homes or loved ones. As his mother finally carried him outside through a emergency fire exit he darted his eyes to see something moving quickly and slamming into the building they were just occupying explode. Not even the effect of falling glass and debris couldn't even drown out the sounds of people screaming as fire filled the gasp's that were made.

His mother was about to run around the street corner when she stopped and held Sai close to herself. He didn't know want was happening but the sound of gunfire was unmistakable at this point. Peeking out of his peripheral vision he caught the site of men he reconsigned around his neighborhood exchanging gunfire with people wearing darkish blue outfits just down the street from them. A rumbling noise made him grip his mother's shoulder tightly when he caught a glimpse of what looked like a tank appear down the street. He felt his mother take a short intake of breath and ran off in order to avoid the confrontation. The deafening boom sound and the silence of the previous gunfire didn't help to the already present unease in Sai.

(- some time later-)

Eventually they found themselves alone in the more urban section of the ruined Saitama ghetto. If someone had a word to describe how the atmosphere of the area felt it would be lifeless. Not the ghetto was lively to began with but crumbling building's and ruined streets now felt ominous with the distant fighting already spreading like chaos. All the running that Sai's mother had done to get them here had cost her and now she was sitting next to an old car while Sai was poking around the corner of the vehicle to look around.

" Sai! ( inhale) Get back it's dangerous!" ( exhale)" She voiced out while trying to steady her breathing.

He looked down at his mother to see her exhausted sitting on the ground looking him with the same fear he held within himself. He knew his mother was just as sacred as he was but she was trying to keep her emotions in check in order to keep him safe. The boy still couldn't understand why they had to suffer like this but at least they had finally got away from the danger.

The sound of something large and the screeching of tires made him turn his vision just in time to see a two large machine appear just a couple blocks from where they were hiding at. The machine's were huge and had a humanoid shape to them. Sai then notice the machine on the right's forehead opened up and then closed followed by it turning it's head to face in the direction of where he was in. .

The mother seeing the boy suddenly go stiff had moved up and looked to see what was happening and gasped in shock.

" A Knightmare!" She yelped as she gripped Sai's arm and pulled him down to hide.

" Hey found some rat's in this area you want me to deal with them." The knightmare suddenly moved in their direction.

" MOVE!" was all Sai heard as his mother pulled him away and the two moved down the street as they fled for their lives.

Just as she's about to run for safety the Sutherland's gun clicked loudly making her stop and turn her head. Her pupil's shrank as the barrel of the rifle the knightmare was holding now had it's sights trained in on her. She looked down at her son and saw him stiff with fright and quickly moved the boy in behind her. The deadly silence made them not even attempt to breath as they watched their lives being decided by a single weapon.

BOOM.

A thunderous sound made both Sai and his mother close their eyes awaiting their fate. The gush of wind followed by flying dirt and debris flew around the two. The pair soon found it was now very difficult to breath as a cloud of dust polluted the air. Rubbing his eye's clear the boy opened them to see that his mother was now wrapped around him in a desperate attempt to protect him, looking past her shoulder to see the knightmare that was aiming at them was now found lying on the ground struggling to get up. He noticed a giant shadowy figure in the distance, focusing his eyes on the the figure he saw it move upward like someone standing up from a kneeling position. Sai's eyes widen when the cloud dissipated showing the crimson and black plates to full vision, the metal being's image was intensified when an emerald flash showed it's face.

The only thought that ran through the boys mind was ( ONI!)

( A few moments later.)

The Eypon's metallic feet seem to shake the whole block as it charged a group of Sutherland's just ahead of it. Bullets screaming in the air as the knightmare trio unloaded their rifles into the Epyon's armor only for them ricochet off into near streets and building. The Leader saw on his main monitor as sparks coming off the massive metal giant as it's speed was unhindered on it's approached towards them.

" WHAT DO WE DO! IT"S NOT STOPPING SIR!" He heard a panicking voice over his radio ,

" Stand your ground men! Empty your guns if you have to!"

As the Epyon was close enough from it's approach it raised an arm into the air and a bright green blade sprouted to life. Once it reached the three smaller knightmare's it swung diagonal towards their center frame's. The metal the knightmare's were made from glowed a bright orange with hints of white as it gave way to the intestine heat of the Beam blade. The heat had also breached the sakuradite engine's of the knightmare's causing them exploded and making black smoke start to spread out and cover the street briefly obscuring the Epyons image. A patrolling VTOL that had been hovering above the buildings nearby, it's pilot had been listening to the radio chatter of the Brittian forces when an explosion caught the pilot's attention making him turn his head. His eyes widen when he saw the towering Gundam rise out of a black cloud turning it's head side to side as if looking for something.

" This is HAL-5 of Delta 8 responding engaging unknown hostile." The gunship moved it's position closer this thing seeing the white face of the Epyon. At this the ventral cannon on the bottom of the gunship started to fire as it lined up. Unloading a hail of bullets at the Epyon, its eyes flared green as the heat rod whip started to glow a bright orange at the edges and swung it's arm forward making the whip weapon fly at the Vtol. The pilot starting pulling the gunship out of range of the whip when he saw the weapon heading in his direction at the same time unleashing one of the missile pods at his target. However the whip extended and pierced the front of the Vtol making a smashed wreck as it the missile's slammed into the Epyon torso.

The smoke and sharpnel dispersed around the main body however due to the Gundanium ally armor it was unscathed. Lelouch however shifted a bit from the force missile's impact and shook his head to get his bearings straighten out.

( Warning hostile forces are moving to engage. Recommend immediate action pilot.)

As the computer spoke Lelouch looked at the main monitor. What he saw was another force of Sutherlands followed a support unit of tanks and infantry moving in on his position and glared hatefully.

" I'll kill all your lapdogs if I have to CORNELIA!" Lelouch yelled as the Epyon prepped the beam sword and charged at the enemy again.

(GI command center defense perimeter)

The area around Cornelia's G1 mobile command could be described as frantic as troop formation and command personal were moving throughout the defense perimeter with a few setting up to move the deeper into the Ghetto. While the troops were moving out another group of vehicle's were being escorted by four Sutherland's. The vehicles were now moving into position's close to the G1 defense perimeter and another set close the river bank's that spanned the length of the Ghetto. These armored vehicle's were different than the rest because on top of them appeared to be a large turret with multiple war heads set in place.

" Sir the E7- Down busters will be ready for activation in twenty minutes sir!" a solider saluted a higher officer who was overseeing the new vehicle driving into place.

" Good work corporal. Her majesty will be pleased."

As the Brittian forces were carrying out their orders standing guarding close to the G1 were with orange pauldrons. Sitting just outside their piloting blocks was Jeremiah and his remaining purists members. Instead of helping with the pacification of Saitima they were task with staying close and keeping the G1 defense perimeter secure.

" I don't understand? Why won't princess Cornelia's order us to attack as well?" Jeremiah voiced out as he listen to the fighting coming from deep from the Ghetto.

" She won't because Orange is here." Kewell said just loud enough for Jeremiah to hear.

" WHAT!" Jeremiah turned to look at Kewell with a hateful glare at the accusation.

" Just be glad you haven't been deposited of. Your to blame for this, it's do to you that our careers are over!" Kewell kept looking straight ahead while at the same time insulting Jeremiah.

" Your wrong Zero was the one who did it!" Jeremaih's voice proceed to grow louder as his anger increased.

" That again." Kewell dismissed Jeremaih's claim easily as if hearing before numerous times.

Villetta who had been glancing at the argument between Kewell and Jeremiah before turning away focusing on her own thought's ( Zero? First that giant knightmare then that business with Jeremiah, and now this? Just what are you planning?)

A loud noise caught the attention of the purist and the perimeter personal making them turn towards the direction of where the disturbance originated. A series of tall black smoke clouds started to drifted upwards from deep in Saitamita Ghetto. Villetta and the others kept looking towards the ghetto when suddenly a large emerald object swiped out into the air diagonally followed by four loud explosions in the air. The emerald object kept moving until it caught the edge of a large building causing the area where it made contact turn orange and majority of the building to collapse onto itself as object appeared to cleave through it.

Villetta's eyes widen when she saw that familiar green energy and heard Jermiah hiss "ZERO!" between his clenched teeth.

The Epyon leveled the beam sword back close to it's side while staring at the crumbling remains of the building it had just cut through. Inside Lelouch was staring at the monitor impassively at what was happening until he heard the system speak again.

( Hostile's eliminated. Scanning. Hostile's forces have been detected at two clicks from our current position. Recommend immediate action to engage.)

Lelouch looked at the control system for a brief second before closing his eyes and smiling to himself. " A little eager aren't we Epyon. What we need to do is find the location of Cornelia. Try accessing their network to obtain where she is right now."

( Affirmative. Accessing. Please stand by until necessary combat network data has been collected. Warning Hostile forces are approaching our position.)

Leloch looked up to see two more Sutherland appear on his left with what appeared to be anti-knightmare bazooka's aimed in his direction.

"Attention Zero! By the order of her imperial majesty you are to die here and now for your crimes against the holy empire of Britannia." a voice from the one of the Sutherland's speaker's tried to sound firm but their was a bit of nervousness that could be noticed.

The Epyon turned to face the pair with the beam sword held to the Gundam's, it's green eyes boring down on them. When it took a step forward one of the Sutherlands took this as a sign of aggression and proceeded to open fire in the Epyon's direction with one rocket slamming into the Gundam's leg while the other crashed into a building sending concert, steel and glass falling onto the street below. That didn't stop the Epyon from throwing it's arm forward sending the whip to pierce the center of one knightmare before turning orange and pulled sideways cutting the other with super heated metal.

( - Meanwhile while inside the command bridge of the GI-)

A technician was scanning one of the monitor when something caught her attention making her narrow her eyes.

" What in the world... Oh no!" the technician voiced this aloud and she began to type quickly on her keyboard.

As she was typing Darlton had overheard her and was now moving himself behind her chair.

" What seems to be the problem?" he asked just as he approached.

" This is impossible someone has hacked into our hole network and he's downloading data. I'm trying to lock him out but I keep getting dummy programs. If I wasn't paying attention we've would of never of notice it." The Technician explained while also keeping focus on her work.

" She's right sir! They trying to access our IFF network as well. I'm trying to hold up here as well sir." the another technician spoke to their right.

" Well can you stop it?" Darlton questioned

" Hold on I got something. YES! I know where it's coming from, yeah it's coming form an outside source." The technician smiled briefly as she pulled up a map showing a map of Saitama with a red dot appearing near the center of the ghetto before going back to

" Have you locked it down yet?" Darlton asked again.

" Huh?"

At this Darlton raised an eyebrow at what he just heard from he female technician. " What happened?"

Turning back to the screen the technician began analyzing data again as she continued to give her report.

" The hack sir it just stopped. "

" What do you mean it stopped!"

" I don't know sir it just stopped. Like all signs of intrusion are gone."

as she looked throughout the system the processes that were the give away to the intrusion were now no where to be found.

" That doesn't make sense why would they just stop that.

" I'm certain sir it's just gone there is no sigh's of them left"

"Worse still only rudimentary signs that anyone was even in the system remained."

" That can't be right did they know we were on to them?"

Turning to the situations occurring on the command deck Cornelia began to assess the obviously urgent situation.

" Darlton what is the status of our security."

" There was a major breach of our security that was mostly centered around the I.F.F. Network. I'm sorry to say we aren't aware of how much information has been compromised at the moment Ma'am."

" You there. Your the technician that discovered the breach correct." Conerilia spoke up this time addressing the female technician.

Abruptly turning her chair and standing to preform a simple but respectful salute she began her report.

"Yes I am your Majesty! Lieutenant Wendy Padbury at your service mi'lady!"

"Lieutenant Padbury what is your recommendation for securing our network."

"My lady I recommend a full system shut down and a cut off of all wireless systems within the G1. That is if you authorize it Your Highness."

Her fellow technician showed disgust in his expression at what she was saying. Seeing this as an act of humiliating by a subordinate under him. He quickly thought up of something to correct her and rebuke her answer to the situation.

"ARE YOU INSANE THAT WOULD CRIPPLE US FOR AT LEAST AN HOUR! MY LADY I WHOLE HEARTEDLY RECOMMEND WE SIMPLY QUARANTINE THE COMPROMISED SYSTEMS AND CONTINUE AS NORMAL THERE IS NO NEED FOR SUCH A COSTLY AND OVER ZEALOUS PROCEDURE WHEN OUR ENEMY HAS OBVIOUSLY PULLED FROM THE SYSTEM IN FAILURE!" The second technician said abruptly interrupting the other technician.

Looking at the person that spoke up Conerilia saw he was slightly higher rank than Wendy. Taking their rank into consideration and the obvious incompetence of the Superior officer as well as her lack of over all technical knowledge she turned to her advisers for their recommendation for good measure.

" Hmm an hour is too long. Darlton your thoughts?" Cornelia's mused as she glanced at her general.

"I agree my lady and hour is too long and until a second intrusion is attempted I would advice against such measures."

"So be it then Lieutenant be ready for a seconded attempt and do not hesitate to enact your plan should this happens again. Until then work with your fellow officers to quarantine and secure our systems.

"Yes your majesty!"

( - Saitama Ghetto-)

" Any Luck?"

( Affirmative. My Access to the enemies combat network was noticed. However the general direction of the Enemies combat center and combat units was able to be obtained. Bringing it on screen.)

Lelouch noticed a map of the area was now pulled up on the main monitor and on the grid near the outer edge of the Ghetto was a river with a single bridge allowing access to an exit from the area. A red square appeared in the just before bridge leading out of the Ghetto. Short after several blue triangles appeared all throughout the map of Saitama and by the sheer number of them Lelouch speculated that this was what represented the enemies forces.

( This area has been marked through the limited data that was obtained. If the enemies commander is the objective of this mission. Recommend searching in this area.)

" Or we lure her out." Lelouch said suddenly.

( Explain?)

" Cornelia is a tactical commander no doubt but she's also a knightmare pilot of skill. If we charge straight in then we might walk into a trap but if we tackle her forces long enough then she might send in her royal guard and she might just join them. Or at the very least we could destroy enough of her forces to where getting to her won't be such a hassle."

( Understood. Re-evaluating. The largest concentration of hostile force is in this sector.)

The map shifted back to the center of the Ghetto except this time the red square was position in an area six blocks away from his location.

" Well then lets get to hunting shall we."

(- G1 command center-)

" Sir Delta team has spotted the enemy in Sector E-8. They are moving in to engage." a technician voiced out causing General Dalton to look in his direction.

" Have Clent's squad to move in and offer support and why hasn't the enemy appeared on or radar yet?" Dartlon asked

"No Idea sir. This was reported during Shinjuku incident as well sir." The same technician replied as he kept his eyes on the the radar. When the half the markers representing Delta and Clent squad suddenly went offline he held the headgear while trying to focus.

When he turned his head to Dartlon he facial expression show concern. " Sir Delta and Clent are reporting heavy causalities sir!"

" What happened?!"

" Sir the enemy unit is just charging in. Delta and Clent have reporting that their throwing everything they got at it. SIR DELTA HAS JUST BEEN WIPED OUT!" the technician turned back to his station.

Darlton just exhale a long breath while gripping the fist tightly at what he just heard. " Have Viker squad move in and flank the enemy. Are the Down busters ready yet?"

" They are just now coming online now sir. Missile's will be primed in forty seconds."

" Good when the first one is ready tell Viker squad to mark the target."

" Yes my lord."

( -Saitima Ghetto -)

As Dasuke kept ran through a ruined hallway a sudden shake cause a piece of the ceiling to fall making him stop just short of having his head meet solid rock. "Whew! Things aren't going so well."

" Dasuke!" a voice suddenly heard behind him making him turn around and see two armed men with machine guns while also wearing nothing but jeans and t-shirts.

" What's up boys?" Dasuke asked as they drew closer to him not minding the sounds of fighting just outside the walls they were in.

" Listen to this!" one of the men voiced out as he held up a hand held radio up for Dasuke to see.

"zzz- Just spotted zzz Massive red knightmare in downtown-zzzz- It's ripping the Britianians a new one."

" No doubt about it. Must be the kid." Dasuke said as he listened all the while smiling at what he was hearing.

" So what does it mean Dasuke?" the other man asked confused at why Dasuke was smiling.

" You guys come with me. We just got some good news for the egg heads back at the shop."

( G1 command center )

Princess Cornelia was watching the chaos that was her operation's center get louder as different technician were yelling out incoming reports.

" Sir Clent squad are reporting heavy losses and are falling back. Delta Squad has cleared their area and are being routed to help out Clent and Viker squad now."

" Are those missile primed yet!?" She heard one of her staff officers yell out.

" Not yet sir they need five more seconds sir."

" Sir Clent squad just went KIA Sir!"

" WHAT THE HELL GOING ON IT'S JUST ONE UNIT BRING IT DOWN!"

"That's enough. Have all forces fall back to grid C- 4 and await further instruction." When Cornelia suddenly spoke the entire operation center went quiet. All the staff members and Dartlon turned and were now facing Princess Cornelia awaiting on what she would say next. Cornelia moved a hand towards her a console on her chair bring up a private channel.

" Guilford? When will my royal guard be ready to move out."

"zzz- We are standing by and awaiting your orders my lady.-zz"

" Good. Move out and rendezvous with our forces and await further instructions."

"zzz As you command my lady. zzz"

When her finger left the console she noticed that three of her staff officers were quickly approaching her. When they reach the base of the stairs leading up to her throne they all knelt in one knee. " My lady we can still fight!"

She kept her gaze upon them as she listened to their plea. " Not like this we can't. Dartlon are the Down Busters ready?"

" They are primed and ready your Highness."

Cornelia remained silent however a small smile graced her lips.

(- Saitama-)

" DIE!" Lelouch yelled as he brought the beam sword down onto a Sutherland. The blade slicing clean through and like all the others it exploded after wards. The Epyon turned to see two tanks trying to flank behind and turn just in time to dodge a couple of shells that were fired at it. Moving in closely vie thrusters the Epyon sent a foot at one tank sending it flying down the street and making the turret separating from the frame. The Second tank turned it's turret to face the Epyon and sent another shell into it's leg, in turn the Epyon brought down a fist into said tank crushing the turret inward like a crushed can.

Lelouch briefly glanced at the radar that was being displayed to see the icons representing the Britianians forces were now heading away from him. The map shifted to show the Icons were now gathering seven clicks in the direction towards the G1. Lelouch narrowed his eyes at radar and studied the map of the city.

( They'll be expecting a another frontal assault if I pursue. However if I follow the old railway system...huh?)

Suddenly Lelouch found himself fighting in a different block against a group of knightmare's. The feeling he was getting could only be described as disconnected as he could see his hands moving the controls to swing the beam sword or his eyes watching the monitor as said sword removed an arm from a knightmare that he saw through the monitor but at the same time felt like a dream. Watching himself move the Epyon to engage the Knightmare's again a beeping drew his attention and made him turn the Epyon to look left. Only for an object to slam into Epyon and suddenly Lelouch saw his whole vision went a fiery blaze.

Lelouch soon found himself still in the Epyon standing still in the same street among the debris and ruined enemies he had previously slain. Looking from side to side in the cockpit Leouch was confused at what had transpired just now. He winced as pain seemed to throb in his skull and gripped the controls as a wave of paranoia washed over him. This sudden feeling made him look around to see if any foe's were still moving around him.

The Gundam moved it's head from side to side looking down the streets it was occupying and then moved to look towards the sky to see if anyone were still around it. Aside form the distance Votls moving to the area on his map Lelouch didn't find anyone and took a breath to calm himself down.

( What was that just now? Was that the Epyon telling me something?)

( Pilot. You appear to be experiencing some discomfort. Is something wrong?)

"It's nothing just a headache."

(- Meanwhile-)

The five knightmare's of Viker squad had their Sutherland's gathered in the ruins what looked to be a large apartment complex along with a sizable parking lot that was surrounded on all sides by the crumpling ghetto. An old railway that was height off the ground that ran through the left side of the block. One of the Sutherland's marked with decal identifying him as squad leader saw another group of Sutherland's moving towards them. When they finally reached the parking lot the combat force went from five to being a nine knightmares and the squad leader noticed a Sutherland with the same decal as his approach him.

" Delta squad reporting sir. Are you Viker squad?"

"We are. We were just informed from command to gather here and wait until Lord Guilford and the rest of the Royal guard arrive. We are to support them in eliminating the threat."

" Understand sir."

The leader of Delta squad moved his Sutherland into position to the far right just opposite of the railway. Curiously he moved the head unit of the Sutherland so he could get a look at who else had gathered here. Not only were there knightmare's gathered here but also the remaining support units of Vtols and tanks were present as well. Supposedly they had been routed from various confrontations against the 'Red Devil' or whatever they were calling the knightmare the masked terrorist Zero was piloting throughout Saitima. He had heard rumors about it and even saw the green flashes of light in the distance when he was operating in the sectors he was assigned to. Needless to say he still didn't quiet believe in what he had heard about it but he knew they were about to find out sooner or later.

" Sir Lord Guilford's Ghoulster is arriving." the squad leader heard over the radio and made his Sutherland turn around to look.

Approaching down the street he spotted a purple Gloucester baring the signal of a royal knight of Princess Cornelia. The machine was also bearing a cape that fluttered about as it moved quickly to the gathering of Sutherlands, when it came close enough Delta's leader saw what looked like a large lance in one hand and a rifle in the other. Following close behind Guilford's knightmare were two more Gloucester that were shaded in a vibrate deep purple like color scheme and also bore similar capes as well. When the three knightmare's finally arrived the Guilford's Gloucester planted the base of the lance onto the ground, the clanking drew every Britannia's soldiers attention to the newly arrived Gloucester's.

" All units report in! This is Guilford speaking." the recognizable voice of Cornelia's personal knightmare sounded over the radio.

" This is Lieutenant Simon of Viker squad reporting in sir."

" Lieutenant Bert of Delta squad reporting, sir."

" This is Sargent Carlton of the 18th platoon reporting in sir."

" Captain Peers of 7th recon. We're ready on your orders sir."

The silence seemed to last forever for the leader of Delta as he watched Guilford''s Gloucester slowly moved it's head to one end to the other. It seemed the knight of Cornelia was most likely making a count at what he had to work with.

( Come on. It's just one guy running around out here why do we need-

A large crashing sound drew Delta's and everyone else's attention to face the old railway that was behind them. What they saw made the leader of Delta squad eyes widen in disbelief. The building behind them was crumbling into a growing cloud of dust as large chunks fell all around them with some crashing into other building's. A pair of green eyes peered through the dust cloud as a large dark shape moved to it's full height and leveled it's gaze to where Guilford's Knightmare was standing. The emerald eye's seemed to emit a hostile feeling when he saw them flash brightly.

" Zero! You decided to quit hiding and have come to face us fully in combat." Guilford's voiced out over his Gloucester speaker's.

" You must be Guilford. Why isn't Cornelia here ? I've had enough of breaking her toys and to think she went to all of this trouble this just to meet me. I'm rather disappointed" the large shape finally stepped out of the cloud finally showing the crimson and black armor plates that belonged to the largest knightmare Lieutenant Bert had ever seen.

( Seriously why would someone make something that big unless they were going to fight Giant monster's or something!)

" Lieutenant Bert!" Guilford's voice sounded out on his Sutherland's radio.

" S-s-sir?" Delta squads' leader answered hesitant while keeping his eyes on the giant knightmare slowly making it's way closer. Each step it took lightly shook the ground they were standing on.

" We will move in and distract this monstrosity. I need your squad to paint him until the down busters are locked on. Here is the activation command." Bert looked down at his computer to see something was being sent to him. When he received the activation command from Guilford he turned on the face sphere on his Sutherland towards Zero's machine.

" Sir I'll need a minute to completely lock on."

When the giant knightmare held out a hand near it's hip, a sudden flash revealed a large green blade that was now slowing melting the concrete and asphalt.

" Understood." was all he heard from Guilford before the three Gloucester's quickly split off from each other when Zero's knightmare suddenly closed the distance with a lunging sword swing.

Lelouch pushed the Epyon towards the three Gloucester's bringing it's sword up to cut them all down. Unfortunately they managed to avoid his attack just fast enough to where only an arm was cut off of one Guilford's support unit's. The Epyon turned it's head left as Lelouch kept his focus on Guilford's knightmare.

" Tell me. If I kill you would Cornelia come to me then?" Lelouch voiced out to the knight with a calculating gaze.

" Unfortunately for you murderer my lady has better things to do then waste her time with a terrorist. I will slay you here and now." Guilford responded back as his Ghoulster moved in with a lance ready to impale the Epyon through the side.

The Epyon moved just enough to cause the lance to only graze the Gundam's side and raised the whip to response in kind.

Guilford narrowed his eyes when the lance moved across the metal of the enemy machine and noticed there was no mark from contact. He spotted movement and looked up to see the massive machine had raised it's arm up into the air and swung it down causing the whip connected to it to head in his direction. He pulled the controls on his Gloucester just in time to avoid the whip as it crashed into the ground and moved to the side firing his knightmare rifle into Epyon.

Lelouch growled in anger as he followed Guilford Gloucester when suddenly...

( Warning. Incoming projectiles.)

" What?!" As Lelouch froze up at the question a rocket shell crashed into Epyon making the cockpit shake and jarring Lelouch. He looked at his radar to see three enemies moving in on his right. The Epyon's head turned right allowing Lelouch to see the three Sutherlands that were on his radar moving up to open fire on him the third one in the back was holding a bazooka aimed being ready to fire again.

Lelouch seemed to growl in anger at their actions and for a brief second Lelouch could have swore he was seeing their face's in shock and awe after witnessing that their attacks bore no fruit.

The Epyon turned to face them and flared it's thruster's to move in. When Epyon was within range it brought the it's blade out and swung across. The Sutherland tried to back peddle away while firing however it wasn't fast enough as the beam sword cut through it's middle and a street light that was next to it. Setting it's next sites onto the heavy weapon wielding knightmare that was reading another shot against the Gundam. When the knightmare fired it's bazooka Lelouch brought up the Epyon's sword and when the shell made contact a black cloud engulfed the Epyon. The Sutherland next to the bazooka wielder seeing their target was now obscured form view and immediately ceased fire until the Epyon suddenly rush out of the smoke and shoulder charged into said Sutherland crushing it into the building behind them. When the Epyon looked to it's left to glare at the bazooka wielding knightmare to flee away as the Epyon pulled itself out of the building.

Lelouch glared at the fleeing Sutherland as bit's of glass and debris were falling away from his monitor. " Your not getting away that easily!"

( PILOT THERE HAS BEEN IN INCREASE IN NEUARL ACTIVATIY. YOUR STRESS LEVELS ARE REACHING CRITICAL.)

"I'm fine!"

( Warning Hostiles forces detected.)

When the Lelouch moved the Epyon to pursue he felt sudden jolt go through his mind making him shake his head to clear his thoughts. He looked up just in time to see three tanks along with a couple of vtols moving in to engage him. " More already?".

Just as the first tank fired Epyon moved in as the tank shell flew past it and into the same building he had charged into earlier. Lelouch eyes darted from the enemy quickly and saw the easiest to get was the vtol moving towards his right most likely to release it's missile payload. He Swung out the heat rod whip in it's direction shearing it through. The Vtol only had time fire one missile that exploded as the whip sheared through both it and the vtol's cockpit. Lelouch felt a sudden jolt through his mind and made the Epyon lean itself to the right making another shell pass by him. Within a span of a few seconds Lelouch looked down at the tank in anger then back to the vtols that had just been impaled by the whip. Swinging the Epyon's arm down sent the Vtols crashing onto the tanks causing both to explode into a fiery inferno.

" Now I'll just find Guilford and...( Clank) ….Ugh!" Suddenly a large lance struck the shoulder of the Epyon making Lelouch raise it's arm to steady the large mech. As the lance struck the tip became blunted against the Gundaium where as the Gundam appeared to be unaffected. The Gloucester holding onto the spear backed away and quickly pulled up the rifle in it's other hand to open fire. Unleashing the entire clip the Gloucester pilot watched as bullets pinged off the Epyon's armor harmlessly.

" What the hell is that thing made of?" The pilot of the Gloucester voiced over the speakers as the Epyon turn to face it. The Gundam's eye's seemed to narrow as it's fingers gripped the handle of the beam sword.

" Zero! It's time for you to pay for insolence. My lady has ordered me to bring you in alive so that you can publicly pay for your crimes against her family. So will you surrender?" Lelouch saw the Gloucester belonging to Guilford appear alongside the other knightmare that had attacked and raise a lance pointed at the Gundam.

" I will decline Guilford. Instead I'll kill you all here and now and meet with Cornelia myself." Lelouch spoke as the Epyon pushed off of the building it had been using to for support and was now standing at full height.

" Then so be it." The two Gloucester split apart in opposite direction's both firing their rifles at the Devil Gundam.

" DIE!" Lelouch growled as he moved the Epyon towards Guilford Gloucester who had moved to the left. The Epyon lunged the beam sword at the knight only for the smaller knightmare to lean it's body enough causing the arm holding the lance to glow an orange and slightly melt. The cape followed by burning and scattering in the wind.

Guilford threw the controls in reverse making the land spinners squeal as the knightmare backed away from the Gundam. The ash from his Gloucester's cape fluttered before him as he watched the green blade pierce the concrete of the street reducing it to melted slag.

Guilford looked down at the monitor showing a blue display showing the left arm going red and a warning text appearing. " He missed but the arm was still damaged by the sheer heat. If one strike lands on me it's over."

" My lord!" Guilford heard a familiar voice over his radio. He kept his focus on the massive machine that was now spinning around from after it's failed lunge and was now bringing up the blade to strike again.

" What is is Lieutenant Bert?"

" Sir Target is acquired awaiting on your order sir."

Guilford saw the emerald eyed machine took one step towards him bringing the bright green blade in front of itself. The gunfire from the remaining knightmares ceased making the whole ruined city eerily quiet just before the Gundam's thrusters ignited making it dash forward. Guilford narrowed his eyes when the monster lifted the blade high for what seemed to be a diagonal strike.

" Fire."

Lelouch pushed the Epyon forward as he focused his sight's on Guilford gloucester's. The smaller knightmare soon moved in reverse in what seemed to be an attempt to avoid his incoming assault. However with their differences of speed the Gundam was nearing the knightmare much more quickly.

The knightmare suddenly shifted left moving towards a group of Sutherland's that had moved out from behind a large building to open fire at Epyon.

( Why is he running?...) Lelouch thought's were interrupted when his headache started to act up again.

(Incoming projectile detected.)

Lelouch couldn't explain it but he was suddenly moving his vision away from the knightmare's and was now looking up to the sky. Up in the sky Lelouch was now seeing something flying towards him and the sight of it was causing his headache to increase with each passing second.

( What?! It's just like that before... wait before?)

Even with his mind in it's confused state at what he was seeing Lelouch found himself making the Epyon move to the side. Lelouch eyes widen in disbelief as he barley caught a glimpse of what looked like a missile flying past the Gundam.

( Wait?! That was..)

lelouch quickly made the Epyon move away because something in the back of his mind was telling him to get away. When the missile flew past Epyon a few second's past until it exploded in mid-air not far from where the Epyons head would have been and what followed after wards as a shock wave.

( Brace for impact.)

When Lelouch heard those words it sent a chill down his spine.

The surrounding building's and streets were struck by sudden shock wave causing a few to collapse while the others had their windows to completely shatter. The section of the suspended train track that had been nearby was now crumbling to the ground below. The Epyon was struck by the shock wave which causing the monitor's to go static and the Gundam to stumble sending the it to a building before falling onto the ground on it's side. When the building was struck by the Gundam a section of the it was now falling on top covering it up under rubble.

( Warning. Damage to right thruster has been detected. Combat efficiency has been lower to 65%. Recommend disengage and repair. )

Lelouch moved the Epyon off of it's side into a sitting up position making some rubble fall off in the process. When the monitor's came back to normal view Lelouch was now starring at the remaining military force with Guilford's Gloucester in the front alongside several other knightmare's and the whole attack force now had their various guns trained on Epyon.

Just then a female voice sounded out over a loud speaker aimed exactly at him.

" Zero you have lost. Surrender now and accept your deserved punishment."

Lelouch heard an familiar female voice and looked at the knightmare's in anger. " CORNELIA!"

When the Epyon attempted to move the sudden shift in the rubble caused the knightmare's rifles to click signaling the action that their guns were now ready to fire.

" Damn it. They have me surrounded and with the thrusters damaged I won't be able to out run them. I could try to fight them... no they'll just out maneuver me and there's no telling if they have another one of those missile's ready to fire. Geass is useless in this situation since the knightmare won't be affected. I don't get it I thought this Gundam was unstoppable but now I'm trapped. What the hell do I do now."

" Yo kid seems like your in a spot of trouble."

lelouch's eyes widen when a voice reached him over the radio. " Who the... is that Dasuke? "

The next seconds that followed were to confusing as two explosions sent a Sutherland to the ground and scattering a few soldiers. Flying from directions were what looked like rpg rounds with one striking a tank sending it up into a fiery inferno. Lelouch watched as the Britannia started looking around not knowing where the attacks were coming from. His view of them was then obscured was several pops above him suddenly made a massive smoke cloud.

" What the hell is happening?" Lelouch said to the radio in hopes of an answer. Suddenly what looked jeeps moved towards the Epyon and several people were hopping out of the vehicles. Lelouch couldn't recognize any of these men but they looked like Japanese that were living in the Ghetto.

( Incoming transmission. Displaying on screen.)

" Wait! Don't..."

Lelouch noticed his center monitor was suddenly displaying a familiar face.

" Well it seems you nee a bit of help. I'm right aren't I boy." the pointy nosed face of the Professor G was now starring at him through the monitor.

" I remember you, your one of the scientists. What are you doing and what in the world is going on?" Lelouch had to ask as the men were sending more rpg shot's past the smoke clouds. One of them was waving at Epyon making Lelouch zoom in on him revealing it to be Dasuke.

" What does it look like boy. We are returning a favor to you and I suggest you take it. Let Dasuke lead you to the exit point." As Professor G finished a few of the resistance fighters lifted up there weapons and fired a couple smoked grenades around the Epyon.

With the cover now in place the Epyon slowly moved up trying not to disperse the smoke cloud. It's head shifted making it's eyes land Dasuke's jeep signaling the Japanese man to get back into the drivers seat. When he planted his foot on the gas the Epyon made it's way to follow as more combat jeeps came into view. Lelouch couldn't help but watch the jeeps that were moving in the opposite direction of him and Dasuke. Taking a brief look back he saw that they were moving towards the smoke screen cover and what followed afterward was the sounds of a firefight.

" What are they doing Dasuke? They can't hope to survive against that strong of a force do they?" Lelouch said over the radio to Dasuke.

" Don't worry about those guys. Their are good friends of mine and they know what they are getting into. What you need to worry about now is getting out of here. Those Eggheads said getting you and that machine to safety is the only thing that matters." Dasuke's voice answered him but Lelouch couldn't help but keep looking at the jeeps that were still heading towards Cornelia's forces.

When they finally reached around the street corner Lelouch saw a two semi trucks with a massive trailer hitched to the both of them. Dasuke's jeep pulled up to the two trucks and signaled Lelouch on the radio again.

" Alright I know it's not a lot to look at but go ahead load the big guy up."

Lelouch let out a sigh as he moved the Epyon to the trailer and slowly started to load it down onto the trailer. When the Epyon started to lay down he heard a loud squealing noise followed by a pop.

" What was that? Did something break?"

" Um?... No don't worry about it just leave everything to us." Dasuke said making Lelouch raise a eyebrow at the statement.

With a burst of life the semi- trucks exhaust pipes leaked out black smoke and slowly started to move as Lelouch felt the sudden movement from within the Epyon's cockpit. Eventually the trucks speed increase as they distanced themselves from the fighting that was still going on a distance away. As time pasted and Lelouch would feel a sudden bump every few minutes as he looked at the sky through the monitors.

" Alright the exit point is just up ahead. Just hang tight we're almost through this." Dasuke's voice informed Lelouch.

( Warning! Incoming hostile unit incoming.)

Hearing that made Lelouch snapped to the radar seeing a single red dot that was moving quickly towards his position. " Dasuke We've got something heading our way!"

" WAIT WHAT!?"

Dasuke looked behind him to see a familiar Gloucester wielding a lance in one hand while aiming the rifle in their general direction. Soon rounds from the rifle flew over them and a few slammed into the ground making Dasuke swerve in order to avoid getting hit.

" ZERO! YOU WILL NOT ESCAPE!" Guilford's voice sounded out of the Gloucester's speakers. The knightmare was making it's way quickly towards Lelouch and his getaway ride.

" SHIT! It's a knightmare, come on guys we need to push it. You get a rocket and get that bastard to back off." Lelouch heard Dasuke over the radio and looked to the jeep to see another person in the passenger seat getting up and was aiming a rpg at Guilfords knightmare.

A bullet from Guilfords knightmare slammed very close to one of the semi trucks causing them to steer off a bit and causing both Epyon and Lelouch to shift from the sudden movement.

( Damn it! Come on hurry up!) Lelouch thought as the feeling of uneasiness was coming over him. Lelouch heard the rpg rocket going off but couldn't see if it was effective or not. But with the sounds of the knightmare still following them told him it didn't matter either way.

" Come one! Come one! We're almost there!" Hearing that over the air still didn't make lelouch any better. Looking back to the Jeep he saw the jeep swerve again as the bullets smashed close making the passenger to drop his rpg and turn to Dasuke. No doubt he was telling him about losing the weapon. A sudden pinging caused Lelouch to worry more as one of Guilford's bullets hit Epyon's armor.

" ZERO!" Lelouch could hear Guilford yell out over the knightmare's speakers.

-SKKRRRRRR- Suddenly a new noise caught Lelouch's attention making him look at the very edges of the monitors to see the edges of the Gundam's armor was scraping against the ceiling of the what looked like a subway tunnel. The contact between both metal and concrete causing sparks to shoot out in random direction's.

" Alright we made it! NOW BLOW IT!" Lelouch heard Dasuke yell out over the radio that was followed by a explosion. The sound that followed was the collapsing of the entrance to the subway tunnel letting Lelouch know that they were no longer being followed. Lelouch let out a sigh as he rested his head back against the his seat as he slowly closed his eyes a bit.

( - Under ground subway system. - some time later-)

The rumbling of the semi trucks was the only thing Lelouch could hear outside of The Epyon. Lelouch had turned off the monitors leaving him only a multiple colored dim light from the controls themselves. Sitting in the darkness Lelouch was still feeling uneasy about what had transpired during his run of Samitia ghetto. He soon felt disgusted as the memory of being held by gun point popped came to mind making Lelouch let out a exhale of breath.

( What's going to happen now? I'm glad for the help but I can't fully trust these people just yet... but still if it wasn't for them.) Lelouch gripped a fist making the suit he was wearing make a creaking noise as his fingers tightened up. ( I should of won but still I was put into a position to where I was almost at my end!... I guess this is a lesson for me. If I'm not able to win by myself then I need to obtain some assets in order to change the outcome of my future..)

As time passed Lelouch soon started to feel the movement of the semi's begin to decrease and eventually he felt it come to a complete stop.

- Knock, knock-

Lelouch looked up towards the sound of something tapping on the Gundam outside. Looking at the surrounding monitors in zero's cockpit a few lights flashed on side dashes give just a tiny bit of illumination. Shortly after Lelouch turned on the main monitor seeing Dasuke waving at him or rather at the Epyon's eye's. Letting go of the controls Lelouch flicked a switch making the cock pit open letting him make his way out. When he turned around his eyes landed on Dasuke who was now making his way across Epyon and over to the masked teen. When the older man finally stopped he was standing before Lelouch and the two seemed to stand in silence for a few seconds until Dasuke grinned and put his hand up for a what seemed like a hand shake.

Lelouch put out his hand to return the gesture only to hesitate for a brief second as the thought of if this person could be trusted Passed through his mind. When Lelouch finally put his hand with Dasuke's the older man shook it and started chuckling to himself. " It's good to see ya kid but I wished it were under better circumstance's. Gotta say you and the Big guy here sure know how to tear the Brit's a new one."

" Why did you save me?" Lelouch asked still confused on why the former prisoner had helped him out.

" What no thank you? Heh well I wouldn't blame you for wondering but it wasn't all me most of the credit goes to them." As Dasuke pointed off to the side Lelouch followed to where it lead. On the other end of the trail Lelouch saw a group of familiar old men in white lab coat's with one of them wearing a Hawaiian shirt and sunshades. Although Dasuke couldn't see it but Lelouch was surprised making him look at the four scientists that were now making their way to the gathering of people that had formed around the Gundam.

" Well now isn't this a nice surprise. " The voice of Professor G cut through the subway tunnel.

" It's Good to see ya Zero. Glad you made in in one piece." Another voice caught Lelouch attention making him look at another familiar face.

" Professor G, Mister Z you guys are all here as well." Lelouch said as he slowly made his way down the Gundam onto the ground floor with Dasuke following shortly and close behind. Lelouch felt a pat on his shoulder as Dasuke moved on past him and stood between him and the scientists.

" Yeah no kidding these guys have been talking nonstop about trying to get you back. Now with you and the other kid with us we got some serious fire power with us now. THOSE BRITT"S WON"T KNOW WHAT HIT THEM!" Dasuke said as pounded a fist into a open palm.

" Well I wouldn't say all that but having two Gundam's on our side does improve our chances a little." the man known as Mister Z spoke out loud while pushing his sun shades up a bit making the light form the subway tunnel to glare off a bit.

Lelouch walked with Dasuke and made his way in front of the scientists themselves. He turned back to look at the Gundam Epyon as he addressed them. " I wouldn't get ahead of ourselves about being on the same side but I do thank you on saving me from Cornelia. However now I have a problem."

Dasuke seemed to calm down at the what he heard from the masked teen and raised an eyebrow.

" I afraid I managed to damage the Epyon in that last fight. I got to careless and payed the price for it." Lelouch said as the looked down in shame while making a fist in one hand.

" Is it still able to fight?" Doktor S spoke up as while scratching his chin in thought.

( Negative. Gundam Epyon was damage during combat. The thrusters on the right side and back have been disabled. Sero's on the right leg have also suffered damage and need immediate repair. All software system's are still operational. Combat performance has dropped down to 65% until repairs can be made. ) The Epyon system's spoke over the Gundams external speakers.

Lelouch turned back to the scientists as they started to look amongst themselves. He noticed one of scientists with what looked like a prosthetic nose and spiked sliver hair look to his side at Professor G. " Seems it might need a bit of work. Do you think it's a good idea to fix it?"

It seemed not only Lelouch but every one had turned their heads in Professor G's direction. The mushroomed haired man had his eyes closed and bring a glimpse smile on his face. " No. No it's not a good idea."

He opened up his eyes to stare at the red and black Gundam that was now laying on it's back on a trailer. " But it will be so worth it."

It seems time has gotten away from me when I started this but with the help of some people I manage to get a little bit done from time to time. I do hope that me posting these two chapters makes up for the long wait and I already getting started on the next two and hopefully we get to the one thing everyone is waiting on. The telling on how the Gundam's and their pilots got to this version of Earth and eventually the building of mobile suits in the code geass universe. I'm getting a bit of help on doing some filler to be a little different with how things go on at Lelouch's school and also on how to build up the forming of the black nights but if anybody got any idea's like usual or would like to nicely point out mistake's then I'm open to suggestion's so message me or the weird kid - I didn't pick the user name trust me-. He's the guy that helps manage some of my internet stuck while I'm off trying to survive both work, life and school.

Also to those of you who want to know the reason for why it takes me so long I'll post an article if you ask. It's was a bit crazy this past year but like I said I'm still going to finish this before I die or when the machines take over whatever comes first.

Also I've gotten into teaching people on how to play warhammer 40k and age of sigmar and I would recommend playing it. Be warned you will lose a lot of money because of Gw's price's but it's a hobby I have grown to love. I'm currently playing as the thousand's Sons and Khorne Daemon kin and love the both of them.
